After about ten minutes everything was set up, Kirishima's mouth was duct taped shut to prevent him from saying anything and my finger hovered over "call Bakubro.". I let loose a small laugh from this, Kirishima was chivalrous but he didn't appear to be good with names. I didn't let it take up too much of my time and I clicked the button. It rang for a few seconds before I heard a "Hello!? Kirishima is that you!?". It was Bakugo's voice, but it missed it's tell tale anger, which was replaced with what appeared to be genuine concern. "Not Exactly…" I responded. "Wha-" It took a few seconds for who I was to register to him. "You!" His concern formed into anger, the Bakugo I knew and hated was finally back. "If you hurt shitty hair I swear to god-". "Shitty hair?" I asked as I looked up at Kirishima. "Is that really what he calls you?". Kirishima didn't really respond, just gave me an unamused glare. "Kyokia what do you want!?" Bakugo angrily asked me over the phone. "I require some information." I replied. "Something about Izuku...and his quirk." Bakugo went silent. "Let me see him." He finally spoke up. I compiled and turned the call to video, then pointed the phone's screen to Kirishima. "Damn it…" Bakugo said angrily. "I'll get you out of this shitty hair. One way or another." Bakugo seemed...genuinely concerned. There were no taunts, no snide remarks about how he'd ended up like this...just concern. My face must've shown my thoughts because Kirishima tried to say something directed at me, but it was muffled by the tape. "What's he saying!?" Bakugo yelled at me over the phone. "Don't bother yourself with that." I replied. "I'm going to send you some coordinates after this call, make sure not to alert the authorities...I'd hate to have to harm poor Kirishima over there.". I looked at Kirishima and his eye's read that he didn't believe I'd hurt him fatally, which was true in itself, I was going to use a clone after all. "Fine." Bakugo replied harshly. "This'll be on a...need to know basis." Well, it appeared Bakugo learnt a sense of humor in U.A. "Excellent, Meet me at the coordinates tomorrow night at one am sharp." I said, after saying this I hung up the phone. I started to go to messages and quietly asked Yamiaka to tell me the coordinates. A muffled noise came from Kirishima, it sounded like a question, I looked at him and decided he didn't really need the tape anymore. "Harden your face so it doesn't hurt." He did so after a second and I used my quirk to remove the tape. "What did you say?" he asked, I assumed he repeated his question. "I was just talking to myself." I replied, and as if on cue Yamiaka appeared and started to list off the coordinates. I typed them in and put Kirishima's phone on the desk, I let out a yawn as I was rather tired. "Looks like I'm going to sleep now." I said as I got up to teleport to my bed. "I'll be back with food tomorrow, I have to plan things out." I said to Kirishima. He didn't respond as I teleported back to my room, as I made my way to my bed Yamiaka appeared and stopped me. "Before you retire sir." he started. "I had a thought that I'd like to test with you tomorrow, perhaps in the training yard?". The training yard was something made for the Ace's and Jacks. It had some makeshift dummies to test attacks on with some reinforced to test stronger attacks on, it was where I myself trained. "Very well." I said to Yamiaka. "But first, I need sleep." Yamiaka nodded and disappeared, I then walked to my bed and fell into it, falling asleep shortly after.
I woke up the next day and threw on my trench coat. "Should we begin sir?". "Food." I muttered to him. After I procured some food I walked to the training area, it made no sense for me to walk back to the spire when I'd be returning here anyway, I looked at the two hot dogs and was grateful it would be easy to split. I teleported back to find a sleeping Kirishima, I supposed there wasn't much for him to do other than sleep in his situation. "Wake up." I said as I tapped him. He groggily shook his head and looked at me, he looked confused for a second but that quickly passed. "Oh yeah, right…" He said sleepily. "Oh don't bother complaining." I said to him. "You'll be home soon, the trade off is tonight after all.". "You should just turn yourself in y'know." Kirishima stated, I let out a tired sigh. "We talked about this." I reminded him. "And now we're talking about it again." He retorted, I put the food on the desk and said "What is there to talk about? Just drop it and eat, I have things to do.". "No way." Kirishima said. "I'm not eating until you agree to talk about this." I looked at him with an unamused face. "Fine." I said as I picked up my hotdog. "I'll be back later.". Kirishima protested as I started to teleport back but it was no use, he didn't want to eat and I wasn't gonna waste time forcing him. I started to eat my hotdog and Yamiaka said. "Sir I need you to find...something." He said, I looked at him as I chewed indicating I needed a bit more information then that. "A stick, or a staff of some sort.". I walked to our main storage unit and looked around for something fitting that description, eventually I found a solid steel...pipe. It was about the size of a cane but I supposed it would work. I walked back to the training area and Yamiaka said. "Excellent, now tell me how you fire off your telekinetic blasts." There weren't a whole lotta people around so I quietly said. "I channel telekinetic power into my fingers, place them at my head and...fire.". "Well then," Yamiaka started. "Try channeling your quirk through this rod." I looked at the steel pipe in my hand, "rod" was a better word for it. I then looked at one of the dummies and pointed the rod at it, I started to attempt to channel my quirk into the rod and fire a burst at it. After I tried a few times a small telekinetic burst fired out of the rod. "Excellent," Yamiaka said. "Now fire three."
I attempted to do so and was successful. Three small bursts fired out of the rod and they seemed to take less energy to fire than usual. "Now, I want you to try something different. Sway your rod in a direction making telekinetic bursts as you go, but don't fire them until you've swung the full arc." I gave him a skeptic look and wondered if that was even possible, but I figured there was no harm in trying. I did as he instructed and seven small telekinetic...balls formed as I swayed the rod with both hands. They remained in a line until the rod reached the end of the arc and I released them, the balls turned into the smaller burst again and went flying to the dummy. "Hmm, interesting." I quietly thought aloud. "Now do multiple arcs." Yamiaka instructed. I did so until I was able to perform eight arcs of these small gusts at a time. Yamiaka smiled and nodded. "Excellent." He said. "Now try forming a barrier at the end of the rod." I tried doing so, and found that it was rather simple, and took less energy from me as I formed the barrier. "I have one last Idea to try and a few to say." Yamiaka said to me. "Walk up to the dummy for a melee attack." I wasn't much of a melee fighter and Yamiaka knew this, but I walked up anyway. "Give it your best shot, without your quirk." I swung the rod at the dummy, It would hurt yeah, but it wasn't the most effective move. "Now, try channeling your quirk into the rod again, but instead of attempting to shoot a burst out of it, try to surround, imbue it with your quirk.". "Can I even do that?" I asked quietly. "I don't know sir, only one way to find out." Once again it took a few attempts before I got the hang of it, but I finally "charged" The rod, I could see the telekinetic energy swaying around the rod. It took about two seconds to charge the rod to its fullest potential. "We may wanna try this on the stronger dummies." I said thoughtfully, as I had no idea what this would do. I walked over to a reinforced dummy and gave it a whack with the charged rod, it gave a strong hit and I could feel the energy expel from the rod once it connected. "Now that's something…" I started. "Wonder how far that would send someone flying.". "Now, two more things we can work on later." Yamiaka said to me. "One being that move you used to defeat Kirishima." I remembered the move, where I simply threw everything I could at him, as fast as I could. The concept was simple but It wasn't exactly a useless attack...in fact it was probably one of my most powerful if not the most powerful. "Well, Imagine if you used it with your staff, it might reduce the cost on you." The idea made sense, but I didn't want to test it out here and tear up the cavern. LOGIC's construction crew found out that while the stairs descending into the cavern were small, it was still underground and the last thing I wanted was a cave in, no one knew why the stairs appeared so small, why we were getting air from outside or why no one could hear us from above...but uncle's quirk wasn't to be questioned. "Secondly, your barriers." Yamiaka started. "I believe that you could potentially make them stronger, for example...make a dome around you." I supposed it was possible, but that would take a lot of power, I could make a bubble around me that would absorb anything thrown at it for about eight seconds but that was it...but perhaps I could pull it off. "We'll try another day." I told Yamiaka. "For now I must plan the trade off.".
Seishika already had the location picked out and was ready to send me there on a moment's notice. He and Kojin sat in the conference room. "Seishika, your part is easy, bring me and my hostage there and bring me back with a canister." Seishika placed a canister on the conference table and slid it to me and I grabbed the clicker from my pocket. "Remember kid, concentration." He reminded me, I gave him a nod and said. "Kojin, I'm going to give you a hair to form into a clone...you said you control your clones yes?" I asked him. "Well, yeah. Why?". "If you have a form of auto pilot it may be better for you to have it like that, for your safety and because I plan to kill the clone.". They gave me a surprised look. "I have my reasons." was all I said. "Well yeah, I can." Kojin said as he took a swig. "They'll only act in a directed way...how do you want them to act?". I thought about it...It couldn't talk if that was the case and Kirishima had an unbreakable will...If I could make it appear like I broke it and told him if he talked I'd kill both Bakugo and Izuku...it would be fair to assume he'd be ashamed. "Make him ashamed." I said. "Like he's been defeated and he knows it." "Okay." Kojin said. Once you give me the hair it'll be done. I nodded and said "Meet me back here around eleven fifty.". With that they left and I picked us some scissors before I teleported back to the lab, perhaps I could work on the puzzle some more...and I needed some hair from Kirishima. When I arrived I heard Kirishima say "Welcome back, ready to talk?". I looked at him surprised. "You really just don't give, do you?" I asked him. "Nope." He replied, a bit of cockiness colored his voice. I walked up to him with the scissors, He gave me a brave look. By now I supposed he knew I didn't have any intention to hurt him. "After more of my hair?" He asked me. "How observant" I said as I reached him. "Nope." he said and he hardened his head and hair, I wouldn't be getting any hair from him. I looked at him and sighed, I knew where this was going. "You want hair? You gotta listen to what I had to say earlier.". "Just remember it would be unmanly to go back on your word." I said, wanting to make sure there'd be no double crossing. "Hey, I'm the hero in training here dude." He reminded me. "It's kinda my job to be honest and stuff.". I sighed in defeat, willing to give into his terms...and to think, he was the hostage. I pulled the other chair using my rod and said "Okay, Let's talk." "Firstly, I'm hungry." He said. I raised an eyebrow at him, but conceded and flew the now cold hot dog over to him. He took a bite and said. "Cold, but I'll forgive you this time." With a smirk. "Now," He started. "I know that you're trying to do best by these people. But the best thing may be to just turn them in.". I scoffed at that. "They'll end up rotting in prison." I said to him. "Maybe." He said. "But they could get help there, you certainly need it.". "I'm fine." I said somewhat defensively as I looked away. "Man, anyone could tell you're torn apart about this." Kirishima retorted. "Hell, you even said so yourself!". "I need to be there for them, I made a promise and by god I'll keep it." Kirishima took an angry bite out of his hot dog. "Man you gotta let go!" He said after chewing. "You're not allowing yourself to think clearly!". Maybe he was right, I couldn't really tell anymore. "...I-". "Sir?" Yamiaka said. "I told you many times you should do this." Ah great, now I was being ganged up on. "I still believe you should. It'll be better for you if you do.". That cut it. "I understand your concerns." I said to Kirishima and Yamiaka, however Kirishima wasn't aware of the latter. "But I'm already being a terrible leader by sitting here for hours and not getting this puzzle done...I'm not about to give them up to the police or any heroes."
Kirishima gave a frustrated exhale. "Damn it man you're so caught up in yourself, you won't even listen to reason! you-" . "Why?" I blurted out, finally having enough. "What?" Kirishima asked me. "Why do you care!?" I demanded to know. "I've beat you, could've killed you! I've led a group of villains to rob places and...god knows what they're doing anymore I'm so out of the loop!". Kirishima had a surprised look on his face. "I know what people say about us…" I said, although I hadn't listened to everything my uncle said, I did hear some things during the time's we conversed. "I know we're feared…not as much as the league who will use lethal methods but they know we could be a greater threat if we wanted to…" I looked at him, tearing up in frustration. "So why? Why do you care about us!? About me!?". I awaited his response silently, not bothering with the few tears on my face "...Because if you were such a terrible person you wouldn't feel the guilt from all this." Kirishima finally said to me. "I meant what I said...You need to be saved, not imprisoned.". I was dumbfounded for a moment, unable to respond to him. "At the moment I am." I said. "But...honestly I don't know how things would go if...if…". "Go on." Kirishima said. "The ace's, two in particular...they're like family to me...if even one of them were to die...especially her, I don't know what I'd do.". "Her?" Kirishima asked me. "...Omiora." I said. "She's quickly becoming my mother figure…" I felt like I had betrayed my own mother by saying that, but it was true. "I already lost my mother." I started. "I don't want to go through that again…". "Then don't let it happen, stop this before it's too late." Kirishima said to me. I pondered his words...maybe I could, maybe I could stop this all. "Do what's best for your people sir…" Yamiaka said to me, "save them before it's too late." Then I remembered all the people counting on me, the hope in their eyes when I told them about the ability to start over, the stims. "No…" I said. "The Ace's...the Jacks...Who knows how many people look to me to save them, to lead them! I won't betray them." Kirishima gave a defeated sigh, he unhardened himself and said. "It's apparent that talking won't do any more good, take them." Kirishima finally conceded.. "I'm sorry." I said somberly as I cut some of his hair and put it aside, returning to the puzzle. There was a long bout of silence between us, but my anger was not satiated…I had a few more things to say."...Do you know what they were like when they got here?" I asked him, knowing full well there was no way he could. "They were scared. They were hopeless." I didn't know if Kirishima was even listening, but I kept going. "So I brought them hope." I chuckled a bit at the thought, it was much akin to All Might's speech when he first became popular. "I told them they'd be safe here, they'd be able to fight for their rights.". "...why are you so determined to fight this?" Kirishima asked quietly, I didn't respond for a bit but eventually I stated. "I want them to be able to go home..." It was going to be hard to finish this sentence, and I took a few seconds to build up the strength to say this. "...Because I can't."
