I didn't make much progress in the puzzle before it was time for me to leave, "We'll be leaving soon." I informed Kirishima as I grabbed the cut hair and got up. As I started to teleport back to the spire I realized I'd need more duct tape, it was a good thing I kept the roll I had from the call in my room. As I teleported back to my room I picked up the tape and stuffed it into my pocket, upon exiting my room Seishika and Kojin were in the conference room. "Others are asleep." Kojin said, "Now where's the hair?". Kojin grabbed the hair and the clone started to form. "I'll be awaiting your return." Seishika said as he handed me another canister, presumably to get to the location seeing as he only gave me one earlier. The two of them left after providing the clone and canisters. Once the clone was completely formed it was as promised, he looked ashamed and defeated. "Alright." I muttered to myself. "Time to do this.". "Who is that?" I heard a voice coming from the hallway. I spun around to find Omiora standing there. "Omiora! You're up." I greeted her, slightly surprised. "Don't avoid the question Kyo." Omiora said. "Who is it? And why do they look so...sad?" Omiora seemed concerned, and while I didn't particularly mean to avoid the question I kind of did. "It's the clone." I explained. "The clone of the hostage." Omiora's eyes widened. "He can't be any older than you!" She said angrily, which caught me off guard due to never seeing her angry. "Well...yes." I hesitantly said. "The situation demands it.". "No situation should demand the harm of a child!" she retorted. I had to say, Omiora being mad at me was undesirable. "Well you know what? It is." I said to her, now getting slightly defensive. "What exactly is your end goal for all this?" She interrogated me. "Why exactly do you need those stims?". I thought about telling her, and honestly she was probably the least threatening person to inform about Izuku and his quirk. "The safe room, so no one can hear us…" I said to her. She followed me into the safe room at the end of the hallway and I closed the door, locking her, the clone and I in solitude. She gave me a serious look, awaiting an explanation. "The thing I'm trying to obtain is a quirk." I started. "...Izuku's quirk.". "...Izuku…" Omiora said thoughtfully. "You've mentioned him before.". I then proceeded to tell her everything, who he was, how he was quirkless...and how he gained his quirk. Her face was conflicted with anger and sorrow. "He was my best friend…" I lamented. "He's still trying to be! But...With a quirk like All Mights...it could-" "Turn us into superman…" Omiora said for me. "...But no one can know." I said to her. "I've already done so much to hurt him...I can't put him in danger like that...Imagine if-". "Kyo, it's okay." Omiora said to me. "I won't tell anyone, I promise you." I trusted Omiora, so hearing that was definitely comforting. Omiora then looked at the clone. "So why kidnap this child?" she said, her anger returning. "I plan on using it to find out how the quirk is transferred." I said. "I plan on borrowing it from him. "Why not just take his hair? Or a blood sample?" She retorted, almost yelling it. "Because I don't want intervals of having it I need it for as long as LOGIC's threatened!" I replied. "And I could use my DNA to make everyone like superman! It's just more logical to do it this way!". "It's more logical to put a child through a kidnapping situation when there's another option!?" Omiora asked me with a scowl. "Yes!" I said with a roll of my head. "I said I'd do everything I could for LOGIC!" I continued. "I have to do this!". Omiora rolled her eyes before calming down. "Bring me to him." She requested. "What?" I asked her. "This child!" She now demanded. "Bring me to him!". "...Fine." I relented, We had enough time for this.
As I started to teleport Omiora put her hand on my palm and I placed my foot on the clone, we were all teleported to the lab. "Well welcome ba-" Kirishima stopped talking and eventually said. "Hello?". "He's in chains!?" Omiora shrieked as she turned to me. "He's fine." I retorted, waving a hand in his direction "I simply can't believe this!" Omiora shot back. "Even if it is-" She cut herself off, seeing as Kirishima was there, I thought she was gonna say "Even if it is to gain a quirk like that." or to the effect. Omiora turned her attention to Kirishima. "Are you okay?" she asked him. "What's your name?". "I'm fine lady! My name's Kirishima." I didn't know if he actually told her because he was comfortable or because he knew I knew his name, it didn't really matter anyway. Omiora shook her head. "You look...rather decent for a hostage.". Kirishima chuckled and said. "Kyokia over there isn't very good at hostage...holding." I raised an eyebrow, that was the best he could come up with on the fly? "I hope you know the decision you're making." Omiora said as she looked at me, she got up and walked to me. "What example are you making for LOGIC?". I looked at Kirishima and gestured to him. "He's not dead is he?" Omiora huffed at that, and just said. "He's being released today yeah?" I nodded and she said. "Fine, you win Kyo...but I still don't agree with this.". That pissed me off. "You think I enjoy this?" I asked her with a slight scowl. "You think I woke up today and thought. "Oh I have a hostage! How wonderful! Lets fucking blow up an orphanage!". You think I did that?". Omiora gave me a disapproving, yet gentle look. "You think I enjoy making Izuku worry everyday? Or the fact that his parents are probably worried sick?" I was now pointing at Kirishima, who was just sitting there. "Kyo…" Omiora started. "I'm. not. done." I informed her. "Everyone seems to think that I'm just gonna go back on my promises, that I'm simply gonna crumble and let LOGIC down. But I am NOT going to stop this until its the end!" Omiora and Kirishima looked at me as I ranted. "I may not be living up to my name as the leader I wanted to be but by god I'm really trying! I'm giving my everything for this! my morals, the countless hours I've put into that puzzle, my best, and for a while my only friend!" Omiora and Kirishima looked surprised at that. "You know why I let everyone call me by my first name? Because I'm used to it!" I reveled to them. "Because for the longest time seeing as I was friends with a "Quirkless loser" Nobody wanted to be my friend, not to mention my open opinion on villains! I had no friends except Izuku for a very long time! And now-" I was interrupted by Omiora hugging me, a part of me wanted to continue, but I got over that and stopped real fast. "I'm sorry…" Omiora said quietly. "The only outs I have from this situation...is if LOGIC succeeds, fails...or I'm killed." I stated somberly. "And I'm only okay with two of those…". It was true, after everything I've done I didn't want LOGIC to fail, and while I've been sure to not let anyone see it I still missed my family. "You shouldn't say that." Omiora said as if reading my mind. "I shouldn't lie." I said in response. "...I just want to see my mother...my sister again…". Omiora held me for a few more seconds before letting me go, I looked at Kirishima, who was giving me a saddened look. "We need to go." I said looking at him. "Kyo-" Omiora started. "All due respect Omiora the moment has passed." Omiora nodded and I teleported out with her, we were back in the safe room, she stepped away and gave me a saddened look. "Be careful." she said as I teleported back.
When I returned I saw Kirishima looking at the clone. "This is just creepy." He said. "Let's just go." I said coldly, I walked up to him after I grabbed the duct tape out of my coat pocket. "Oh come on." He complained. "It'll be for two hours at most." I said as I tapped his mouth shut, I didn't want him yelling wherever we went. "Follow me." I said to the clone as I threw down the canister and lifted Kirishima with my quirk. The clone stood by me and I clicked the clicker, the portal opened so the three of us went through. I gripped the metal rod as I walked through, and found myself in an abandoned building, it looked like an old factory seeing as it even had some catwalks. "Hmm." I said to myself as I took in our surroundings. "This'll do." I found a hallway of what appeared to be offices and formed a plan. I'd have Kirishima locked in one of the offices, and once Bakugo arrived I'd find out how Izuku's quirk worked, Snap the clone's neck after likely provoking a chase, fly down the hallway and rip the door to the room Kirishima was in off its hinges to reveal him to Bakugo, who would likely be surprised to see his friend alive. I had made better plans but this one would work, and if I recalled correctly once the clone died it would dissipate after a bit. I went down the hallway and put Kirishima in a room about halfway down, his eye's read "Don't do this." and they were accompanied with muffled words. I looked at him, feeling I had to say something. "Don't forgive me." Was all I could muster, which earned me a confused look. "Because I won't stop until they're free…or we've lost." I took a deep breath after saying this, then said. "But I am sorry." after that I walked out and closed the door, he was tied up so I doubted he'd be able open the door despite the fact it was unlocked, seeing as there was no way to lock it. Now all I could do was wait for Bakugo. "Sir." Yamiaka said as he appeared. I looked at him and he said. "I hate to say this...but the clone doesn't exactly look...beaten." I looked at the clone, while he looked ashamed and defeated...he did look like he was spick and span. "I...understand." I knew what Yamiaka was implying I should do, even though it was only a clone it still felt...wrong, but I steeled myself and threw a few bursts at the clone, and even broke one of its legs. The clone, through all of this, showed no pain which honestly made me feel a bit better about it, as it reminded me it wasn't human. Now the clone was battered and bruised. "I'm sorry for even suggesting such a thing sir." Yamiaka said apologetically. "But-". "It was necessary." I said coldly, while that was the truth it still sucked. After a while, Bakugo finally arrived. "Matchigaten, where are you!?" I found that funny, the person I hated for the longest time was the only one to use my last name first. I picked up the clone "act in pain." I muttered to it. With the combination of using the rod to do so as well as the clone being hurt It wouldn't be as costly on my quirk. Bakugo looked at me, and got angry, as did I because we had an unexpected guest who came along with him, Izuku. "What did you do to him!?". Bakugo shouted at me. "I said to come alone." I replied coldly. "And I said It would be on a need to know basis." Bakugo retorted. "It's his quirk, he deserves to know about this." That was correct.
"Kyokia, put him down." Izuku chimed in. "No, I don't think I will." I replied. I was somewhat displeased there were two now, but the initial shock of the clone's death should still work. "Well, seeing as you're both here…" I said to them. "One of you tell me how the quirk works, and how it's transferred.". "It took forever for the nerd to be able to use it." Bakugo said confrontationally. "I assure you that won't be a problem." I replied. I could simply make a contract with my uncle to give me the necessary...requirements to use the quirk, whatever they may be. "There's more." Izuku said to me. "Well then out with it." I demanded. "Kirishima's getting impatient." I said gesturing to the clone. "Shitty hair! How the hell were you bested by this loser?" Bakugo questioned him. "Krishima won't talk right now." I said for the clone. "A little bird said I'd kill you if he did.". "You, kill somebody? Please as if." Bakugo said to me. "You made it clear LOGIC members don't kill.". "I'll do whatever is necessary." I retorted "Besides, the LOGIC members don't have to know.". After I said this I used my quirk to break the clone's left arm, it screamed in pain. "Eijiro!" Bakugo shouted, he started to move towards me but Izuku stopped him, "Bakugo, if you try that...he'll be even more hurt!". Bakugo reluctantly stopped. "That's enough!" I heard a voice from the shadows, someone else was here and it was around the two "negotiators.". "Another one? You disappoint me Bakugo." I said, ready to break another bone. "As I said, it's a need to know basis." Bakugo said to me. I then saw who the voice came from. It was a skinny man, with yellow hair...he looked like a skeleton of his former self and despite that I still almost backed away in shock, It was the man who shared responsibility in my family's death, All Might. "What is he doing here!?" I angrily shouted at Bakugo and Izuku. "It was bad enough you brought Izuku! But now All Might!?" I was appalled, he was here, I wanted to throw the clone and the others out of my way, I wanted revenge for my family...yet, he was quirkless now, to kill him would be like crushing an ant...unnecessary, evil. He was defenseless and due to that I was unable to accumulate enough reason to end his life then and there. "Please, young Matchigaten." All Might said, with his hands up. "I'm not here to fight." "and neither were they!" I shouted on pure instinct, all I could think about at the moment was my family. "I know I did a terrible thing to you…" He acknowledged. "Young Midoriya has told me a lot about you...he's worried.". "Will everyone stop saying that!?" I said with an exasperated chuckle. "Can't you see Izuku? I'm fine!" I shouted at him, in effect disproving my point. "Kyo…" Izuku started. "Young Matchigaten please," All Might continued. "Put down the boy, allow me to make this right.". "Make this- hah!" I shouted at him with a laugh. "We can't, don't you get that!? They're gone!". All Might looked shocked "Young Matchigaten, what happened to your family wasn't your fault.". "I should've-...no." I said, stopping the thought. "I'm not here to discuss this with you, you know exactly what I'm here to discuss with you." The three of them looked at me. "Now, tell me…" I then looked at Kirishima. "Or he dies."
"...fine." All Might agreed. "What!?" Izuku said to All Might. "This wasn't the plan!". The plan? They had a plan? This situation was getting more appalling by the moment. "Young Midoriya I won't risk young Kirishima's life." All Might said in response. "We have to tell him.". Izuku looked at All Might and said. "You're not wrong...okay.". "It's transferred through hair." Bakugo blurted out. "Hair?" I said, how utterly Ironic. "You have to eat a piece of Izuku's hair.". "But…" Izuku started. "I have to want you to have the quirk…". That wasn't gonna be an issue, I'd find a way for him to want me to have the quirk. "...I see.". "That villain." All Might started. "The one who I fought during that night...young Midoriya's quirk is called One For All and The users have been fighting this villain for generations." So, an old feud was what caused my parents deaths? That was wonderful. "I don't want to talk about this." I stated. "Kyo…" Izuku started. "You know now." He was right, their part of the deal had been met. "Young Matchigaten I meant what I said." All Might added. "I want to help you, to make up for what I did." I just finished having this conversation with Omiora and Kirishima, I had no interest in having it again, it was time. "No." I said in response. "Have Kirishima back." With that, I snapped the clone's neck as I faked a sinister smile. There was a sickening crack and a furious "No!" from Bakugo. I threw the deceased clone at the three of them. Izuku and All might where shocked, but dove for "Kirishima" in false hope he'd somehow survived. Bakugo used his explosions to propel himself at me in anger and I started to fly myself down the hallway, the chase was on. "You bastard!" I heard Bakugo yell as he flew after me, his explosions were damaging the walls. Once I reached the door I threw it off the hinges and there at the door was Kirishima on the ground. It appeared he had made his way to the door and was trying to head butt it from the ground using his quirk. I heard the explosions stop. "Eijiro!" Bakugo said in pure shock. I took the chance to escape as Bakugo made his way to Kirishima, I made it to the final office and threw everything in the room at the doors before throwing the canister down. After clicking the clicker I walked through the portal that opened, my plan had worked. I was outside the spire, Seishika was waiting there. "You took your time." He said with a yawn. "The plan was successful." I said. All Seishika did was nod before walking away, presumably to bed. I had to do the same, "what now Sir?" Yamiaka asked as I walked up the stairs, today was a productive day…I was pleased, if not disturbed with the things I'd done to get here.. "Now I need the stim." I said to him, "Now I need...One for all.".
