OK so I kinda got bored waiting around so yea. Anabeth and Percy don't meet till the next chapter. this chapter has Zoe in it. I need you guys to review who you want Percy to be with. no guys tho. so Jason Nico Thalia Hazel are all cousins. the rest of the people aren't related. Guess what this chapter we get to see Percy as a song writer. The song used is Saturday Sun by Vance Joy.
Percy P.O.V
I had been going to New Rome for a few weeks now and I am already the captain of both the football and swim team.
The last bell had rung signaling that we were done with school. I didn't feel lime going home yet so I decided to go swimming.
the pool or any water in general was where I did my best thinking. I sat at the bottom for about a minute and when I looked up I saw someone standing by the edge.
I came up out of the pool startling them. once I wiped the water from my face I saw it was a girl.
She had dark hair, a slightly upturned nose, copper colored skin, she was tall, she looked very graceful. She kinda gave me the impression of a Persian princess.
She had her back turned. so when I tapped her shoulder she flinched and grabbed me and judo flipped me.
I immediately knew who this was. "Zoe Nightshade" I groaned.
Her eyes we just the same dark brown that I remember. The same ones I had a crush on for years.
"OMG! I'm so sorry Percy. what are you doing here?" she asked while trying to help me up.
A.U Zoe doesn't hate men because there are no hunters.
"I go here and I was trying to practice for my swim tryouts next week" I told her while quickly putting a shirt to cover up my scars.
"Oh cool I'm about to transfer here. Do they allow girls on the team?" she asked me.
"Yea of course they let girls on the team. what makes you transfer here?" I asked while struggling to put my shirt on.
As she opened her mouth to speak I stumbled and fell into the pool.
I came up to her laughing and sitting on the bench. she noticed I was at the edge and and came over to help me out.
As she reached down to help me out she grabbed my arm I pulled her down into the water. when she came up she was not glaring at me like I thought she would be but laughing.
As I looked into her eyes they seemed to almost sparkle. I leaned in and kissed her.
I had no idea what I was doing bit it just felt right. To my surprise she leaned into it.
I pulled away after about 10 seconds. "I'm so sorry I didn't know what I was thinking" I tell her.
I got out of the pool grabbed my bag and ran to the locker room before she could say anything. I changed and took the side door so that I wouldn't have to face her.
Zoe POV
When Percy kissed me I was so surprised I didn't know what to do. but I leaned into it. This was what I had wanted for almost 5 years.
I had waited for him but he never came out. I figured he left out another door so I just left.
I got home and decided to text my friend Phoebe.

I put my phone away as I unlocked my apartment and went inside.
The day had gone by so fast. but time had slowed. I was tired and I decided to lay down.
As soon as I laid i heard a knock at the door. I answered to and it was my best friend Thalia.
I almost slammed the door in her face. I was afraid that she knew but I guess she didn't because she asked how my day was.
Usually that would mean that she knew but she sounded like she actually wanted to know.
So I told her everything but I hesitated at the part about seeing Percy. She clearly noticed.
"Why did you hesitate?" she asked me. I sighed and looked up.
I told her about what happened with Percy. She squealed and I looked at her with wide eyes.
"Never tell anyone about that." she said in a voice as cold as ice. it was almost Scarry almost.
"I won't ever." I swear. But then I giggled and told her how I had a crush on Percy since 8th grade.
That was when my phone went off it was Percy's ringtone. As I looked at it I realised that I since I have not texted him in years his name was still Percy hot stuff.
I picked it up and answered it. and all I heard was "I am so sorry I had no clue what I was thinking and there was no reason for me to do that. I should have asked you or at least not have walked out like that!"
"it's ok" was all I was able to say. "so do you wanna hang out on Friday?"
"Um sure. What time?" he asked
"Does 3 work? If not then you can decide."
"How about 3:30, does that work?" He asked.
"Yea sure see you then."
"OK love you." He said and then hung up.
Wait did he just say what I think he said. I had the phone on speaker so Thalia could here it.
She looked at me with eyes as wide as saucers. "Did he just say that?"
"Yea I think he did. should I text him about it or leave it alone?" I asked her.
I'm not the best at relationships. The last boy that I had dated my first boyfriend hurt me both physically and emotionally.
I still have some issues but I know Percy he would never hurt me on purpose. He respected women.
That was the reason I loved him. plus those looks, his ravin black hair, sea green eyes, and perfectly toned abbs.
I guess I started day dreaming because Thalia snapped her fingers in font of my face and called my name.
"I'm leaving." she said. "OK thals see you tomorrow?" I asked. She must not have heard me because she closed the door and left.
I plopped down on the couch and finally fell asleep.
Percy's P.O.V.
After my call with Zoe I slammed my fist through the wall. That fist managed to catch Jason right in the back of the head.
"OW WTF Percy why!" he yelled. "Sorry my fist was not meant to go all the way through. I'll fix it later."
"Why the hell did you put your fist through the wall anyway?" He asked now with a concerned look on his face
"Well I just got off the phone. I decided to say something very stupid and now I can't take it back." I told him.
By this time Nico was standing in the door listening with a confused look on his face.
"Who were you on the phone with? They asked in unison. "Zoe Nightshade." I said with a sigh. the looks on there faces were a mix between confused and then recognition.
"What happened that made you guys start talking?" Jason asked. Nico shook his head as if to say he was wondering the same thing.
I told them everything that had happened up to the point where I punched through the wall.
Jason pulled out his phone and called someone. "Hey its me Jason I need you to come over now. Yes right now." He said into the phone. He hung up and said "OK Piper is coming over. I have go pick her up Nico you go get Hazel and if you can find him grover too."
Jason went to get his keys same with Nico and they left. I looked over to the corner of my wall where my guitar case sat leaned up against the wall.
My song book was resting on my dresser I grabbed it and went to sit down.
I started by strumming a few cords I wrote down a few words. I couldn't think about any song ideas.
I was thinking about Zoe and when I looked Dow I had wrote a full song. I started to play a few cords. I went to my room and sat on the bed and started to play.

That was when I heard Jason, Nico, Thalia, Piper, Hazel, And Grover clapping.
I looked up and the were all smiling but at the same time looking confused. When did you wright that? When did you start writing again? You can sing? You play guitar? Who is the song about?
I answered all of their questions in one sentence "The song is new. I wrote it about 20 minutes ago. I just started writing again today. yes I can sing and play the guitar. The song is about Zoe"
I told everyone who didn't know what happened. talked about it for a little while.
We eventually sat down on the couch. we watched movies ate popcorn and joked around. eventually everybody fell asleep and I went to my room. I read some more fanfics and fell asleep.
I can't stress enough that Zoe and Percy aren't a thing. If you guys want Percy to be with anyone specific tell me in the review same thing with song ideas.
