Because that means that I won't keep you guys waiting any longer.
As always all the appreciation goes to my lovely followers and readers.
Carry on wayward supernatural fans.
I'm all yours.
The clouds hung like tattered gray curtains, framing an inky indigo sky, lit by the moon, the stars bearing tiny lights that broke through the heavy midnight darkness; solemn torch bearers keeping vigil of the sky. It was a warm night. Sage looked out the passenger window of the impala as Dean drove. Sam was in the back looking between them, as if he wanted to say something, but changed his mind. The lights of the impala lit up the dark road. Once in a while there was a grunt and a curse from the trunk when Dean ran over a bump on purpose. And she knew he was running over bumps on purpose. Just to piss off the passenger in the trunk. She found it highly amusing. It was quiet all except the wind whipping through the open window and the radio.
Dean hadn't talked to her much since they left hotel room. If he wanted to be a child, then he can go right ahead and be a big child. She refused to talked to him first. When did she ever claim that she wasn't childish? Dean could just be as childish. Seriously? Why in the hell was he so pissed at her? She hadn't done anything that he wouldn't have done. There was a way out of her deal, so he should stop being a child. Not that the King of hell would make it easy on them, of course. That's unrealistic to expect such a thing. It was Crowley, he would most likely play with them before he let her off her deal. And of course he will try to warm his way out of it. It was who he was.
She looked at Dean. His green eyes lit up by the lights of the Impala and the moon. She loved him, and she was happy and excited that she was going to have his baby, wasn't he? She knew that he had always wanted a family. She was confident that hadn't changed. True, It wasn't exactly planned. But falling in love with him wasn't planned either.
All the for lives she had been just going through the emotions. Pretending that she was happy. But when she had done that spell and came to the world of Supernatural her life changed, it changed for the better. She met the love of her life, she discovered who she was. She knew who she was. She had her suspicion from the very start. Naomi had explained it all to her before she left to go after Dean and Sam. Cas had told Naomi and Naomi came to her. And now she understood why Crowley wanted her soul. She was literally the only one of her kind. Knowing the truth, she understood why it was so easy for her to learn magic. And why she used her power in a world that kind of thing wasn't real.
She looked away from Dean and returned her gaze outside the window. How was he going to handle it when she told him the truth about her? Hell. She was barely handling it. She was sure that Sam had his suspicions. Because of course he did. Being an angel and demon hybrid was hard to handle. And being the daughter of Naomi and Crowley was extremely difficult to wrap her head around. Naomi had sent her away to the other world for her own protection. Who knew.
...
After another hour they reached their destination. An abandoned building. Because, why not. Dean opened the trunk of the Impala and started dragging Joe out, who, of course, was trying to fight back. Sage rolled her eyes and mumbled a spell, making Joe freeze and make it easier for her boyfriend to pull him inside the abandoned building. Dean smirked at her, witch she just responded with a shrug.
Once inside the building Sam went to work as Dean had a tight hold on Joe, who looked as white as a sheet of paper. She would almost feel sorry for the guy if he didn't make his own decision. He made the deal, It was his fault that he was trying to get out of it. Like she had any room to talk. She offered to do the summoning spell, but like she expected, Sam wouldn't let her.
After Sam was done, he looked at her and smiled his, 'Everything was going to be okay' smile. She gave him a small smile.
"Hello boys." Crowley said, popping up behind Dean. Dean glared at the demon. "I see that you have captured my little mouse that tried to escape from it's cage." He snapped his fingers, Joe disappeared from Dean's grip.
"We kept our end of the bargain," Sam said. "let Sage out of her deal."
Crowley walked to stand in front of her. She met his eyes, her hand covering her stomach. "A deal was a deal." He said as he snapped his fingers once again.
She looked down at her arms and watched as the marks on her skin vanished. She was pretty confident that the king of hell was going to give them a hard time. She didn't know how to feel that he just let her off her deal just like that. "No hard time?" She asked, looking at Crowley. "That's unlike you."
"I could be a nice guy when I want to be."
"Like hell!" Dean snapped.
"Dean. He let her out of her deal." Sam said. "But it is unusual that he did it so easily."
"You Winchesters, so distrustful." Crowley said looking at Dean lazily. "Have you ever heard the expression don't look at a gift horse in it's mouth? It's not the first time that I have a change of heart."
She did remember a time that Crowley did have a change of heart. It was unusual when it happened. But it wasn't the first time. "Thank you."
Crowley looked back to her. "Of course darling." And as quickly as he came he was gone. She felt relieved. For the first time she felt truly free.
...
It took them a few days to make it back to the bunker. Sometimes cases find you. Sage loved being a hunter. But she was beginning to realize what she was going to do with her baby? She wasn't going to stop being a hunter. But perhaps there was another way that she could help. She could always at the bunker as the boys went out on cases, until the baby was old enough.
Once they finally made it back to the bunker she took a long warm bath. Dean wasn't talking to her, and it had been a week. And she bad had enough of his childish behavior. After she was done with her bath and dressing she stormed from the bathroom.
Dean was just coming down the metal stairs. She wasn't sure she does had enough or it was hormones. But at the moment she was pissed. She walked right up to him. "That's it! I have had enough! How dare you completely ignore me!? I am your girlfriend and the mother of your unborn child! Stop being a child for once and talk to me! I know I should not lied to you about the deal! But don't pretend that you are better than me! You made a deal and if you had the chance you would have lied about it too!"
Dean looked shocked for a moment. "You were stupid!"
"So were you! That still doesn't give you the right to ignore me!" She snapped.
Dean glared at her. Any other person what are poly been afraid of the glare that he shot at them, but not her. "I thought I was going to lose you!"
She was taking a back. "What?"
"I can't lose anyone else. I can't lose you."
"And I couldn't have lost you. I love you Dean. But you have been being a dick."
"Your a bitch."
"Because you were being an ass!"
"Since you feel that way maybe now I won't ask you to marry me!" He snapped.
"Well then maybe I won't say yes!" She smirked. "But that would be a lie."
Dean rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say, you stubborn woman."
"You're just as stubborn."
He took her hand, flipping the engagement ring on her finger. "What the hell am I getting myself into?"
"My thought exactly." She said before kissing him. He responded immediately wrapping his arms around her waist. And so suddenly she felt at home, she felt so safe and warm in his arms. "Dean. You need to know what I am." She whispered against his lips.
He shook his head. "I don't want to know. I don't care."
"Are you sure?"
"Im sure." He said before he started kissing her passionately as he scooped her up in his arms and started carrying her to their bedroom.
She giggled. "I'm all yours." She whispered in his ear as the door to the bedroom closed.
