Sorry for taking so long to update! I took a bit of time to plan out future chapters for faster uploads. Also, I read a story the other night where the author listed the songs they listened to while writing each chapter. I thought it was so cute and that I should try it out!

XVAN - I'm Okay

Bakugo laid in his bed, feeling the warm morning sun against his skin. His eyes fluttered open, he sat up, still feeling a bit drowsy. He rubbed his face and let out a long stretch. "Mmm… What time is it?" He thought to himself before glancing over to his alarm clock which read 10:12 AM. Bakugo almost couldn't believe his eyes, "10:12?! Holy shit, I slept, I actually slept." He thought to himself, the events of last night quickly flashed before Bakugo's eyes. Going to the gym, making the sandwiches, coming back upstairs, talking to Minamoto, and going back to his room. It wasn't until now that he realized he pretty much fell asleep as soon as he laid down. It couldn't have been later than 1AM by that point which means he actually slept, the entire night, without waking up.

Bakugo threw his sheets up in the air, practically jumping out of bed, feeling better than he had in months. He got dressed and opened his door to head to the bathroom. Upon closing his door Bakugo noticed a note, folded neatly, taped to his door which had "Good morning :)" written on it in red ink. He took the note, unfolded it and read it in his head.

"Hey you, I'll be downstairs waiting whenever you're ready. -Minamoto."

Bakugo read over the note, a faint smile resting upon his face. He quickly finished getting ready and made his way downstairs, not wanting to make Minamoto wait any longer. He reached the dorm common room which was lively as usual for a Saturday morning. The students of class 3-A were scattered, taking full advantage of their weekend. Some could be seen studying at the table, others were preparing a breakfast feast, and a few were crowded around the TV watching a baseball game. Bakugo scanned the room for one person in particular but noticed that she couldn't be found. Minamoto wasn't downstairs as her note had said. Not wanting to draw attention, Bakugo made his way over to Kirishima who was enjoying a large bowl of cereal.

Kirishima's eyes quickly locked onto Bakugo who, oddly, didn't look as tired as usual. "Hey bro, you look good today. What, did you finally get some sleep?" Kirishima asked in a sarcastic tone, taking a big spoonful into his mouth. Bakugo took a seat next to him. "Yeah, I did actually." He said, pouring himself a bowl. Kirishima practically spit his milk out onto the counter. "Really?! That's awesome!" Kirishima said, patting Bakugo on the back. "It's about time you got some shuteye. So, what did the trick?" Kirishima asked, handing Bakugo some milk. Bakugo thought about his answer. He wasn't entirely sure how he slept, he just knew he did. "I don't know, I guess I just needed to relax." He said. Bakugo scanned the room one more time before leaning in a bit closer to Kirishima. "You haven't seen Minamoto around, have you?" Bakugo said, careful to keep his voice low.

Kirishima raised an eyebrow at this. "Minamoto? Why? You're not going to yell at her again are you?" He asked, giving his friend a stern look. Bakugo rolled his eyes. "No, I just wanted to know. Have you seen her or not?" He asked, with a slight attitude. Kirishima thought for a moment before speaking. "Yeah actually, she left a while ago." He said, finishing his bowl. Bakugo kept a stoic face as his morning high quickly crashed down to a depression. He felt an ache in his chest as Kirishima's words repeated in his head. "She left?" Bakugo thought to himself. He could still feel her note still sitting in his pocket. "Of course she left. It's past ten, how long could she have waited for me?" He continued to think, feeling worse with every word. "Besides, it's better if I didn't go. I'm better off being alone anyways-"

"Hey you!" A cheerful voice said, pulling Bakugo back to reality. He turned his head to see Minamoto happily walking over. Her white hair was tied up and she was wearing her exercise uniform, some sweat could be seen on her neck and brow. Bakugo didn't say a word as Minamoto approached him, wearing a rather large smile. "You took so long to get up, I thought I'd go for a run. You ready to go?" She asked in a chipper tone. She hadn't left him all long. Bakugo's heartache quickly melted away as Minamoto's warm amber eyes stared into his own. "Uh yeah, I'm just finishing breakfast." Bakugo said in an almost awkward voice to which Minamoto giggled. "Cool, just give me a few minutes to change, okay? I'll be right back." She said before making her way upstairs, leaving Bakugo alone with Kirishima. An awkward silence fell upon the two of them. Bakugo already knew what was coming and absolutely dreaded it.

"Sooo..." Kirishima finally started with a flirtatious tone.

"SHUT UP!" Bakugo shouted, not letting his friend continue.

"But I-"

"NO!"

"But I just-"

"SHUT UP OR I WILL KILL YOU!" Bakugo shouted, raising his fist to Kirishima's face.

Kirishima went silent for a moment before Sero walked over to see what all the fuss was about. "What's got Bakugo angry this time?" Sero asked, leaning over Kirishima's shoulder. Before Bakugo could respond, Kirishima finally said what had been bouncing in his mind. "Bakugo's got the hots for Minamoto." It took every ounce of Bakugo's strength to not explode at that very moment. He sat there, building up steam as his two friends continued the conversation on his behalf.

"What?! Minamoto? Really? I mean, I gotta say she is quite a beauty but I thought she hated him?" Sero asked, still in a bit of shock.

"Yeah, but they're going on a date or something today. So she must like him now." Kirishima said, spreading the latest gossip.

"Hah, she's one tough girl. Maybe even tough enough to put Bakugo in his place." Sero laughed.

"Yeah, that is, if her touch can soothe the beast, if you know what I mean?" Kirishima laughed while elbowing Sero and giving him a wink.

Bakugo was just about ready to explode before he heard a voice come from behind again. "I'm ready, sorry to keep you waiting." A sweet voice said as Bakugo turned around to see Minamoto, now dressed in jean shorts, a retro tank top, and red chucks. Her hair was still up but it now had a ribbon tied at the top, matching her shoes. Even dressed casual, Minamoto looked absolutely beautiful to him.

Without giving Sero or Kirishima a chance to speak, Bakugo stood up and immediately made his way out of the dorms with Minamoto following behind. He could hear Sero whispering and Kirishima laughing, he didn't know exactly what they were saying but knew he would probably kick their asses for it later. It took Bakugo a few minutes to feel okay again, Kirishima's words were repeating in his head. "Bakugo's got the hots for Minamoto." While his words were obnoxious, they weren't entirely false. Bakugo knew he had some kind of attraction towards Minamoto ever since he first laid eyes on her and that feeling only grew stronger after their late-night gathering.

Sure, she was beautiful. Beautiful, and to Bakugo, incredibly sexy. Her eyes glittered like polished gold, her caramel skin was flawless, amber and jasmine taunted him everywhere she went and every sultry curve on her body practically screamed to Bakugo's desire, but of course, he restrained himself. Even while they weren't speaking to one another Bakugo would find himself watching her from a distance and taking in her scent whenever she was near, refusing to show how attracted he was to her, not showing how bad he wanted her. Although, there was more to Minamoto than just sex appeal. She was strong, both emotionally and physically. She also made Bakugo feel normal. She wasn't intimidated by him in the slightest, in fact, Minamoto was practically the first girl to ever not put up with his shit. She was brutally honest, not afraid to call Bakugo out on his mistakes, and he liked that. He liked how much they had in common from video games to music to their love for competition. He just liked her. The two walked in silence for a few minutes, now nearing the school's exit. Bakugo was still thinking about Kirishima's words. He had never felt this way before about anyone, let alone a girl, a girl who actually wanted to hang out with him.

"Bakugo?" Minamoto's voice rang through Bakugo's ears, releasing him from his thoughts. He turned to look at Minamoto as she continued. "Are you okay? You haven't said a word since we left." She said, a concerned look in her eyes. Bakugo shook his head, "Oh...I'm fine, just thinking is all. Anyways, which mall are we going to?" He asked. "Midtown Hibiya." Minamoto said without hesitation, pulling out her phone to google the address. Bakugo's head immediately snapped back to Minamoto. "What?! Hibiya?! That's over an hour away by train!" He shouted, hoping to make Minamoto change her mind, but she did no such thing. "Quit whining you big baby. Besides, this is the only mall that had my game in stock." She said, looking up from her phone to Bakugo. Bakugo rolled his eyes and cursed under his breath as he reluctantly followed along. The two walked through the school exit and immediately in two different directions. Bakugo to the left, Minamoto to the right. They both paused, looking back at one another.

"Where are you going?" Minamoto asked, giving Bakugo a dumb look. "Uh, to the station?" He said with a slight attitude. Minamoto paused for a moment and let out a laugh before continuing on her way. "We're not taking a train silly, follow me." Minamoto said as she walked towards the staff parking lot. Bakugo blindly followed as she walked all the way to the back before stopping in front of what looked to be a bike with a tarp over it. "My bike is much faster." Minamoto pulled the tarp off to reveal the most beautiful piece of machinery that Bakugo had ever laid his eyes on. The motorcycle was matte black, with electric green trim in the interior. There was a decal with the word Kamiko on one side and Minamoto on the other. Bakugo's jaw nearly dropped as he examined the motorcycle. "That…looks like a Ninja H2R." He said, almost in disbelief. Bakugo had seen this bike before but only in magazines. Never did he think he would ever see one in person. "Yup, my parents got me one for my 18th birthday." Minamoto said as she folded up the tarp. "Isn't this bike like five million yen?" He said, still in disbelief. Minamoto's cheeks blushed a bit at this, obviously feeling a little embarrassed.

"I know, I told them to just get me a regular bike but they thought it wouldn't be good enough for me." She said, taking a seat on top. "But these aren't street legal." Bakugo said, now looking back to Minamoto. "Well, my folks had this one custom made so it would be legal." Minamoto was now feeling a bit annoyed from all of Bakugo's questions. "D-do you want to ride the damn bike or not?" She asked, now with a slight attitude. Bakugo stood there for a moment and watched as Minamoto revved the engine a few times. "You are the coolest chick..." The words accidentally slipped from Bakugo's mouth and he instantly felt a surge of panic. Luckily, Minamoto had been so focused on starting up the bike that she didn't notice. She looked up at Bakugo. "Did you say something?" She asked. "Uh, no. Let's go." He said, quickly composing himself and taking a seat behind Minamoto on the bike. Minamoto took out a helmet that matched the bike's paint job. "I only have one helmet, you want it?" She said, handing it to Bakugo. He thought for a moment before shaking his head. "You wear it." His tone was strong, clearly stating that this wasn't a debate. Minamoto gave him a nod before placing the helmet on her head and revving the engine once more.

"You ready?" She said, in an excited voice. "Hell yeah." Bakugo said, sounding just, if not twice, as excited. Minamoto pulled the bike out, slowly driving it carefully to the parking lot's exit. Bakugo sat behind Minamoto, his hands resting on his knees. Minamoto paused before pulling out onto the street and glanced back at Bakugo. "Uh, you should hold onto me. It might get a little rough." She said, grabbing onto one of Bakugo's hands and wrapping it around her waist. Bakugo thanked god that Minamoto wasn't facing him. The heat in his face told him he must have been blushing hard. Bakugo hesitantly wrapped the other arm around her waist just in time before she took off. His head jerked back almost violently as the wind hit him. Minamoto surely wasn't lying, the ride was rough. Bakugo couldn't see the speedometer, but by the way they were passing cars, he was sure they weren't going anywhere near the speed limit. Not that he cared, Bakugo absolutely loved it. Bakugo lived for daredevil affairs, cheating death was one of his guilty pleasures. It made him feel alive.

The two zoomed through traffic, swerving between cars, making their way through downtown, feeling the wind slash against their skin. Minamoto made a sharp turn, leading them down a straight road where there were no other cars in sight. Feeling the adrenaline overflow in his veins, Bakugo shouted to Minamoto. "Watch this!" Bakugo said as he jumped to his feet before blasting himself in the air, flying alongside her. Minamoto laughed as Bakugo continued to blast himself beside her. Rather than slow down, Minamoto revved the engine, speeding up, almost as if challenging Bakugo to another race. Her speed increased as his blasts grew larger. The two laughed as they once again realized they were evenly matched. Eventually, they neared the end of the road and Bakugo plopped himself back down on the bike as it slowed to a stop. Minamoto lifted the shield of her helmet as she turned to Bakugo. "Damn, I'm really glad you weren't allowed to do that during our first race. I would've been history!" She laughed. Bakugo laughed with her. It had been a while since Bakugo felt this happy. As if for once, everything was going to be okay. As if for once, he didn't have to try so hard.

Finally reaching the mall, Minamoto parked her bike, taking off her helmet as Bakugo hopped off. "Man, that bike is insane!" Bakugo said, still feeling his blood rush in his veins. Minamoto chuckled, his reaction was sweet. It reminded her of the first time she had ridden her bike. "Well, if you're good I could teach you how to ride it." She said in a teasing voice. Bakugo laughed. "Hah, I'm gonna hold you to that offer." He said as the two made their way inside. The mall was absolutely ginormous. Three stories stacked on top of each other, all three filled with store after store, restaurant after restaurant. They had everything, clothes, food, comics, electronics, books, photo studios, a garden, and more. Bakugo took in the large view, not knowing where to begin. Minamoto, having been to this mall before, led the way to the game shop in a leisurely manner, making a few side stops on the way. This had to be the most fun Bakugo had experienced in a long time. They ate, they laughed and even stopped in the arcade for a few heated rounds of Street Fighter and Air Hockey.

Upon finally making it to the game shop, Minamoto quickly completed her purchase. "Well, that's it. Are you ready to head back or do you want to stay a little longer?" Minamoto asked, checking her watch for the time. As they were paused, a kiosk worker noticed them and quickly approached Minamoto. "Pretty lady," He said, getting uncomfortably close to her. "Would you like to try on some perfume? They're half price!" He said, practically spraying a scent labeled 'seductive summer night' in her face. She let out a small cough, noting that the perfume smelled more like burned cinnamon and sweat. "Um, no thanks, I don't wear perfume. Plus I'm kind of busy." Minamoto said in a polite voice, waving the scent away from her sensitive nose. "Oh, I'm sure your boyfriend won't mind if I steal you for just a few minutes. Besides, every pretty lady needs perfume." The man said before spraying another scent in Minamoto's face, this one labeled 'romantic beach sunset' which smelled like saltwater and musk. Minamoto accidentally inhaled the second scent, overloading her nose. She let out a few coughs, obviously having trouble breathing while trying to speak. "He's not- cough, cough- my boy- cough- friend." She struggled to say. It was at this moment that Bakugo remembered what Minamoto had said about her nose.

Bakugo instantly pulled Minamoto back into his arms away from the cloud of cheap perfume which was invading her nose. "BACK OFF OLD MAN OR I'LL BEAT YOU SENSELESS!" He shouted to the kiosk worker while giving him a smug look. The man quickly backed off, obviously intimidated by Bakugo's anger, and ran off to find some other unsuspecting prey. Bakugo gently held onto Minamoto as she still struggled to take deep breaths. He looked down at her, she was rubbing the tip of her nose with her hands. This reminded Bakugo of a dog after smelling something foul, he didn't say it but thought it was absolutely adorable when her animal characteristics showed. "Are you okay?" Bakugo asked, coming down from his moment of rage. "Yeah, I just need to get this stupid smell out of my nose." Minamoto said, twitching her nose. "Well we should probably move-" Bakugo said when he caught the voice of someone behind him.

"Did you hear that? Someone better keep that guy on a leash." A boy said while shaking his head and gesturing over to Bakugo.

"Seriously, he looks so scary. Maybe he's a villain or something?" Another boy added.

"What's a guy like that doing with a girl like her anyways?" A third boy said.

"Maybe he's holding her hostage." The first boy responded with an obnoxious laugh as the other boys joined in.

Bakugo could feel his blood boil. Not because they were talking bad about him, he couldn't care less about what people said, but they didn't need to bring Minamoto into this. Bakugo was right about to blow before he felt Minamoto push away from him and walk directly up to the three boys. The first boy noticed her presence and slid her a sly, cheesy smile. It took every ounce of Minamoto's strength to not vomit right then and there. "Hey cutie, your friend over there is pretty scary, why don't you come hang out with us?" He said in a cocky voice followed by a laugh. To this, Minamoto let out a fake laugh and leaned in close to the boys. "Yeah, that's pretty funny, huh? Well, you know what? He's not the one you need to be afraid of. Say something about my friend again and I'll personally castrate each of you myself." Minamoto said while wearing the sweetest smile on her face, making sure to show off her sharp teeth. The three boys gave each other a look of pure terror before quickly turning and walking away. Minamoto stood there, a proud look on her face, obviously happy with herself.

"Heh, I have to admit," Bakugo said, approaching Minamoto from behind. "That was pretty badass, but you really didn't have to do that. I honestly don't care what people say about me." He said, shrugging his shoulders. Minamoto's face fell at this, her confident demeanor quickly melting away. "Well," She said, turning to Bakugo. "You may not care...but I do." She said in a quiet voice, a worried look on her face. This unexpected string of words caught Bakugo off-guard, making the slightest blush splash across his face. The two looked at each other for a moment not saying a word. Bakugo could feel his heartbeat increasing as Minamoto looked into his eyes, a blush glowed on her cheeks as well. He wanted to say something cool, something charming, but this wasn't really Bakugo's area of expertise. He was a fighter, not a lover. Luckily, another voice from behind saved him. This time, the voice of a female.

"Kamikoooo!" A happy voice shouted from behind. Bakugo and Minamoto turned to see two girls about their same age walking towards them. "You know those people?" Bakugo asked, turning to Minamoto and pointing to the girls. "Uh yeah, they're from back home." She said, giving a polite wave. Bakugo couldn't pinpoint it exactly but for some reason got the feeling that Minamoto wasn't overly excited to run into them. One of the two girls approached Minamoto first, giving her a tight embrace. "Oh Kamiko, it's so good to see you again! We've really missed you back home." She said before letting go. The girl was short, a few inches smaller than Minamoto. She had short brown hair, green eyes, skin that closely resembled Minamoto's. The other girl leaned in as well, lightly wrapping her arms around Minamoto. She was pale, with long black hair and red eyes. "Yeah, everyone's been talking about you ever since you left." The black-haired girl said. It wasn't long before Bakugo noticed the ears sitting atop of their heads and just how similar they resembled Minamoto's. The girl with black hair pulled back, noticing Bakugo and sizing him up and down while raising an eyebrow.

"Who's your friend?" She asked with a smirk, her red eyes practically piercing through Bakugo's body. There was something in her tone that made Bakugo feel uneasy. "Rin, Azumi, this is my friend Bakugo Katsuki. Bakugo, these are my cousins Minamoto Rin and Minamoto Azumi. Bakugo and I are in the same class together back at UA." Minamoto said with a bright smile. The two girls looked at Bakugo, waiting for some kind of introduction. Bakugo stood there, completely uninterested in the current event. "Hey." He muttered, wanting to get this over with as soon as possible. "Oh, you're from the hero school are you? " The black-haired girl asked, still using the same tone as before. "Yup, Bakugo's one of UA's top students. He's going to be a hero one day, just like me." Minamoto said proudly. The black-haired girl looked at Minamoto and paused. "Right," She said in a snobbish tone which instantly annoyed Bakugo. Cousins or not, this chick was getting on his nerves. "Oh Kamiko, I wish you'd just leave this hero fantasy behind and come back home. You belong with the pack." The black-haired girl said with a pout. Minamoto let out a sigh and rolled her eyes. "Rin, I know you're just saying that out of love but I'm happy where I am. Plus, becoming a hero isn't a fantasy. I can make it happen if I work hard enough." She said giving her cousin a reassuring look.

Rin shrugged her shoulders, letting out a sigh of her own. "Oh well. We were just on our way out. I'll hopefully see you soon Kamiko." She said giving Minamoto a quick hug before looking over to Bakugo. "It was a pleasure meeting you." Rin said in an almost sarcastic tone. "Same to you, Minamoto and… Minamoto." Bakugo said, glancing over to Azumi. "You can just call us by our first names." Azumi said in a chipper tone. "Yes, there are so many of us back home, we hardly ever use surnames anymore." Rin said before turning to walk away. Azumi hesitated before walking away, going back for one last hug. "It really was good to see you Kamiko." She said with a soft smile before turning to Bakugo. "And it was nice meeting you too. Any friend of Kamiko is a friend of mine." She gave Bakugo a warm smile before turning away to join Rin.

The two stood there, almost awkwardly, before Bakugo broke the silence. "So...those are your cousins?" Minamoto nodded her head. "Yeah. Well, I have a lot of cousins but these are the ones I'm closest to. Azumi is a total sweetheart but Rin can be a bit… intense." She said, trying to find the right word. "Yeah, I kind of got that." Bakugo said under his breath. Minamoto couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. "I hope she didn't offend you." Minamoto said, feeling guilty. Bakugo picked up on this and shook his head. "Not at all. But she does seem to have some strong opinions about your career choice." Bakugo said, in an annoyed voice. As much as he tried to restrain himself, he couldn't help it. Minamoto could call it whatever she wanted but to Bakugo, Rin was downright rude. "Yeah...my family has never really understood my choice to become a hero. They think I should just follow the family tradition." Minamoto said while rolling her eyes. "And that is?" Bakugo asked. "Get married, have babies, and serve my husband." Minamoto said in an irritated tone. Bakugo could tell that she was deeply bothered by this idea and could see why. Minamoto was smart, strong, resourceful, she didn't need to serve anyone. The thought of her doing so seemed almost ridiculous to him. "Pfft, fuck that haha." Bakugo said before letting out a laugh to which Minamoto quickly joined. "Yeah, I'd rather die than let that happen. Anyways, it's getting late. We should probably head back. You ready for another race?" Minamoto said, taking out the key to her motorcycle and spinning it around her finger. "Heh, you bet." Bakugo said with a devilish smirk while cracking his knuckles.

The sun was sitting low in the sky by the time Bakugo and Minamoto arrived back at UA. The two headed inside the dorm to see everyone in, pretty much, the same spots they were before. Some were in the kitchen cooking dinner, others studying, and a few students were crowded around the TV now watching a soccer match. Bakugo could instantly see Kirishima sitting in the corner, wildly waving his hands around, trying to call him over. Bakugo rolled his eyes before turning to Minamoto. "Well, I guess I'll see you later." He tried to casually say but couldn't ignore the slight ache in his chest. Bakugo didn't want to admit it, but he couldn't help but feel a bit down about their day being over. Sure it wasn't a date or anything, but he still enjoyed their time together. "Yeah," Minamoto paused, also feeling a bit down. "Thank you, by the way, for coming with me." She said, giving Bakugo a warm smile. Bakugo smiled back at her. It wasn't a full smile, just half of one but, to Minamoto, it felt just as warm. "Anytime." Bakugo said before reluctantly walking off to join Kirishima. Minamoto watched Bakugo as he walked away, a smile on her face, and butterflies in her stomach.

Bakugo reached Kirishima who was now trying to call Sero over. "What do you want?" Bakugo asked in a cold tone. "Isn't it obvious? Tell me how it went?" Kirishima asked, overflowing with excitement. Kirishima was so overwhelmed with excitement, he almost looked like a schoolgirl. It wasn't often that Bakugo went out with a girl, scratch that, it wasn't EVER that Bakugo went out with a girl and he wanted every detail. "How what went?" Bakugo said, already starting to feel annoyed. Sero quickly joined the two of them and took a seat next to Kirishima. "Hey Bakugo, how'd your date go?" Sero asked without hesitation with a cheeky smile. "IT WASN'T A DATE!" Bakugo whispered as loud as possible. To this, Sero and Kirishima glanced at each other, rolling their eyes. Both accepting their friend's denial. Kirishima sighed. "Fine, how did your non-date hangout go?" Kirishima asked in a calm tone, coming down from his high. Bakugo took a moment to gauge the situation. While it wasn't often that Bakugo opened up to his friends, he figured they may have more experience in this department than he did. Bakugo closed his eyes, let out a long sigh and took a seat.

"It went good, really good." He said under his breath while looking away. Trying his absolute hardest to not show an ounce of weakness. "That's awesome! So, you guys dating or what?" Sero blurted out without thinking. Bakugo nearly exploded at this sudden question. "We're not dating!" Bakugo barked at Sero, slamming his fists on the table. There was a pause between the three, none of them wanting to fuel the fire any further. Bakugo's friends waited for him to take a breath and calm down. After three years of dealing with Bakugo's temper, they knew the drill. "But…" Kirishima said, breaking the silence. "You want to, right?" He asked, in a calm voice. Bakugo hesitated before responding. "How the hell would you know what I want?" Bakugo said, turning his face away from Kirishima. To this, his red-haired friend let out a soft chuckle and leaned back in his chair. "Bakugo, I've known you for three years now. You've NEVER hung out with a girl unless you absolutely had to and even then it's never gone 'really good.' I'm closer to you than anyone in this room. I know you and I know you like her." Kirishima said, giving his friend time to digest his words. There was another pause from Bakugo, this one longer than the last. He sat there silent, staring at the table, thinking.

Sero and Kirishima knew better than to push Bakugo. Their friend practically lived his entire life in a shell. Forcing him out would only end in pain, one had to wait patiently for Bakugo to come out on his own. "Well…" Bakugo said, finally ending the silence. "I guess I do." Bakugo let out a deep breath, slightly lowering his head. This was his breaking point, from here on it was Sero and Kirishima's jobs to listen, not speak. Speaking would only push Bakugo back into his shell. "I mean, we have a lot of the same hobbies and we get along really well. It's like when I'm around her, I can be myself and she isn't bothered by it." Bakugo was careful to choose the right words, not wanting to reveal too much emotion, he continued. "When I'm with Minamoto, I don't feel like a bad guy. I feel...good." Bakugo said, trailing off, too embarrassed to continue. Kirishima waited, not wanting to interrupt too soon. "Well, have you told her how you feel?" He said in a careful voice. Bakugo looked up, a bit shook. "No way, it's too soon. We've only hung out twice. I hardly know her. Besides, I don't know how she feels. " Bakugo sat up, scratching his head. "So? Ask her out. Take the initiative. Think of this like a battle plan, first know your opponent, her strengths, weaknesses, then find the right moment to strike. There's no way you can fail if you strategize a plan!" Kirishima said, giving Bakugo a thumbs up. Bakugo let out a sigh and smiled back, nodding his head, feeling a bit relieved. While he didn't normally open up to Kirishima or Sero, Bakugo couldn't help but feel glad that he did tonight.

Minamoto laid in her bed, cooling off from her hot shower, thinking back on today's events. She felt a soft vibration on the side of her pillow. She turned to see a notification on her cell phone. It was a text from Rin and Azumi.

R - "So, just who was your friend today?"

A - "Yeah, give us the details!"

K - "I told you, he's in my class."

A - "Is he single, he's sooo cute! XD"

K - "Yes, he's single haha."

R - "He won't be single for long if Kamiko keeps hanging out with him."

A - "Can you hook us up?"

K - "I already told you, he's just a friend."

K - "And I don't think he's your type Azumi, sorry :("

R - "Didn't look like a friend to me."

R - "He looks more like your type Kamiko."

A - "Boo :("

R - "You haven't forgotten about Yoshio, have you?"

K - "No. Again, he's just a friend. Plus, you know how I feel about the whole Yoshio situation."

R - "As long as you haven't forgotten."

A - "I miss you already! We need to hang out again soon!"

K - "Yes!"

A - "Lunch?"

K - "Sure, when :)"

A - "Next Sunday? Noon? We can go to that one sushi place from your birthday."

R - "Works for me."

K - "Great!"

A - "Sushiiiii!"

A - "You should bring your friend!"

K - "Oh no, I don't think so."

R - "Why not? If you're really just friends then there isn't any reason to not invite him, is there?"

A - "Please!"

A - "Pleassseee!"

A - "PLEASEEE!"

K - "Okay...I'll ask him but no promises!"

A - "Yay!"

R - "Good, see you then. Goodnight."

A - "Nighty night, sweet dreams! 3"

K - "Goodnight :)"
