Wow, I still can't believe I have pretty much completed a novel here! Well, more like half. If I wanted to make it a novel, I'd have to add like at least 20k more words. I could have typed out those zeros, but… I didn't feel like it XD Thank you all to those who have read on since the beginning and reviewed, and for the new faces that have come to read! I send out my love for you all! And finally, for your reading pleasures, the last chapter of: Even Though You Hurt Me, I Still Love You.

Disclaimer: James Dashner writes much better than I do, so let's just go with I am not him and don't own anything here except for my storyline and any OC minor characters.

Chapter 13: The Day That Started Forever

Line Break

Katie's POV

"Well finally!" Travis and I break apart from our cuddles and peek outside the tent. Miranda is standing there with a big smile covering half her face, and she's holding a camera, which at this very moment is busy flashing. It's her polaroid, of course. I blush, thinking about how, well everything. It's been so roundabout. But it's perfect. And the mistake with my last name, I almost died when he said that, but it was so cute. And his face was so red! I bet mine is too though…

I have been waiting FOREVER for this to happen! And I got to witness it! Wait until your mom and our dad hear about it! Dad has been saying you would look cute together for a while now, but he was kind of upset after you hurt her feelings and such and-"

"Miranda!" I shout with an eye roll. "Can you please stop and just let us revel in the moment?" I look up at Travis and he gives me one of the shiest, most adorable smiles.

"Fine. But just one more picture!" Travis pulls me into a hug and looks into my eyes. His blue eyes are so full of adoration it just causes me to tear up again. I see the flash just as a tear slips out my eye. Travis's eyebrows furrow in worry.

"Katie, what's wrong love?" Love. That does it. I fall into Travis to cry again. Why? I mean it's not like I just got engaged or anything. I squeeze my arms around him and he holds me tight as well.

"I- I don't know! I'm just so, so overwhelmed with emotion!" I squeeze him even tighter if that's possible.

"Aww, it's alright babe. You can tell us it's your time of the month." I look up at him with a crazy look in my eyes.

"Babe? Already?''

"Well, yeah. I mean you can tell me when this stuff is going on."

"No, I mean, babe. Aren't the pet names a bit soon?"

"I mean, if it bothers you, then I won't call you babe, but otherwise, yes I am calling you that."

"Fine." I go back to squeezing him.

"Are you trying to suffocate me?" a strangled voice sounds from above me.

"Yeah, he's turning purple Katie." I immediately let go and look up. Miranda is right. He's turning purple with laughter. I don't know how I didn't feel him laughing when I squeezed him. I slap his shoulder and sprint upstairs. From there I hear both of them dying of laughter. I'm sulking on the couch until they come upstairs, both red faced.

"Alright, that's enough. How bout we go watch a movie and eat those cookies." I say.

"Bu we just came upstairsssss-uh," Travis whines. Miranda bounds downstairs to get the cookies.

"So, going down is easier." I raise an eyebrow in a challenging glance as I stand up.

"Okay, but only if I get a kiss from my girlfriend," he returns with a look as challenging as mine.

"Well, if that's all you ask for, then you can have it." I walk over to Travis who is holding his arms out. I roll my eyes.

"You are so needy Mr." I walk into his arms and put my arms around his neck.

"That's what you love about me." He nods his head to assure himself.

"Yes, yes it is. And many other things." He smiles and leans down slightly.

"I'm so thankful for you Katie. You've taught me a great many things this fall, and I'm thankful that you are here for me. I want you to know that I'm here for you too."

"I'm thankful for you too Travis. I love you. Babe." I smile as he leans in the rest of the way to gently kiss me.

"And I love you babe."
