Lucy POV

I felt some light on my eyes as I knew it was morning. As I tried to sit up it was a little hard cause my body was so sore to the point where I might need to stay in bed. I manage to sit my body up, but when I looked down I realized I wasn't in my bed. More like Zeref's bed. When I looked under the covers I could see I was naked along with him who was still sleeping. How did this all happen? I had to think for a second about what happened yesterday. Oh, now I remember what happened yesterday. I feel so embarrassed about what I said.

This is how it all started yesterday:

I woke up like always in the morning ready to start my dad out with a small stretch. I walked to the bathroom to do my business, then to the kitchen to make my breakfast. While I was in the kitchen making breakfast, Zeref had come in the kitchen on his phone texting whoever. Curious little me decided to ask: "Who you texting Zeref?". He looks up at me for a second then shows me a picture of Mavis looking like Erza scaring you more physically. "Oh," I said in realization. "Why are you two texting?" I looked at him curiously. "Because Makorav wants Mavis and me to plan a field trip for you guys, and I have to work with Mavis on this," he explained. "Why do you and Mavis always have beef with each other?" I asked.

"Well we went out, broke up, I tried to be her friend, and now she hates me. I tried to get on good terms with her, but she always gotta come at me about what happened years ago. I can't blame her though because I know how sensitive she is and she was heartbroken about our break up. The fact is that I knew that Mavis always had a crush on me since we were in grade school. So I can't be mad that she doesn't wanna be face to face with me. That's exactly why we are texting." he explained. I felt a little jealous that he and Mavis had some romantic history together.

Even though Mavis is always giving Zeref the cold shoulder it's no secret that she still has feelings for him. Mavis is always nice to everybody, but Zeref. It's probably because if she lets him back into her heart she feels he's gonna break it again. I like Zeref in all, but I feel like he is way more mature than me. Plus it's wrong to date your teacher even though around here it's legal. I still find it wrong to date your teacher. I will be talking to my half-sister about Zeref and she is telling me 'Just go out with him already'.

"Well, Zeref you have to understand that since she hasn't seen you in a long time she thinks her broken heart has healed, but seeing you again she realized it isn't healed. The only way to not harm that heart again is by pushing it away." I explained. He seemed surprised and just stared at me for a second. "You know you should become a psychologist, " he suggested. "I didn't even help you with your problem. I just told you why Mavis was being so tough on you. If you really wanna know your problem it's that you can be insensitive at times." he looked taken back on his problem.

"I'm not insensitive. I just tell people how it is," he said basically agreeing that he's insensitive. He looked right back at his phone which was vibrating a lot when he turned it on. I did the best thing for the both of us and just took his phone away. "Lucy taking my phone away from preventing me from texting her is just gonna make this worst," he sighed. "You can talk to her once you get to school. You seemed stressed out with all of this and you need to take a break." I said putting his phone in my pocket. He rolled his eyes not even fin to argue with me. All he did was eat his breakfast and then get all his stuff ready to go. I followed along cause he was my ride.

We drove in comfortable silence till we got to school and I left out the car first. I wonder what kept him so quiet the whole way to school. He usually says something funny or talks about rumors that have been spreading around. Is it weird at times Zeref could probably be gay, but actually straight or he just goes both ways? It's hard to tell at times. On my way to class, I saw Mirajane looking curiously at me for some reason. I'm just gonna ignore her gaze cause it's really breaking me down to an awkward face.

When I arrived at class everybody was pretty much talking about some random stuff. I simply just sat down in my seat and thought about Zeref and Mavis getting back together. It's obvious they two were together in high school, so what did he see in her that he doesn't see in me? She's nice, innocent, smart, has no forever 21 body shape, and is an adult. I'm nice, innocent sometimes, I'm very smart cause I make all A's, I'm not flat in my areas, and I'm not an adult. Just then Mavis and Zeref came into the classroom while everybody silenced. "Okay, my troubling students we are having a week vacation to someplace I don't know of," Zeref carelessly informs. Mavis glared at him for a second or two then she looked at us. "The school is offering to give some of the classes here a week vacation for all the hard work you guys have done, and the good part is you guys get to choose where you wanna go as a class, with the suggestions the school gave you," she said as everybody was excited for a second until it was suggestions the school gave us.

"Personally I don't really think some of you should go, but it's a free offer so take it, not like you all don't travel anyway," Zeref inferred. "Why you don't think some of us should go?" Nastu of course asked. "Well depending on where we go there is gonna be drama like with what happened on the last trip," he sighed. "Like what?" asked Jellal as Zeref looked at him like he was dumb. "Jellal I'm not gonna even answer your question cause you know the answer and I have to leave because if I don't I'm gonna get fired," Zeref walked out of the class as some people tried not to laugh. "I think Zeref doesn't like me!" Jellal said as everybody in the class busted out laughing along with me. Zeref stuck his head into the classroom without Mavis noticing and flicked Jellal off.

"Okay, you guys settle down...Now the school is offering to let you go to Sukeroku No Yado SADACHIYO, Legoland, or Andon Ryokan." she said so excitedly." Everybody literally at the same time said: "Legoland!". "Okay that wasn't so hard to decide," she smiled and then left the class. Zeref came right back into the classroom clapping his hands. "Good you picked a place that is not boring at all," he said. "If you think about all those other places are pretty boring and least at Legoland we get to do something," Gajeel smirked. "Gajeel when we go to Legoland do not eat the materials there," Zeref pleaded. The next thing we all did was some work we needed to get done. After school, everybody always goes to hang out, but I was going home today cause I was kinda tired. Aquarius worked all my muscles out today. I feel like she is doing it on purpose. It all started when somebody asked about the soccer coach and I's student and teacher relationship. I just said he's a nice man and Aquarius tripped about it for some reason and made me do a lot of work. I was walking to Zeref's car which was started and he was in his car on the phone.

I opened his door and got in the car. He saw me and he had pulled out and we were heading back to the house. The whole entire drive he was talking to Mavis. Even when we got to the house he was still talking to her. That conversation had gone on for almost 2-3 hours. I got so tired of hearing it that I was grateful when he finally hung up. I walked into his room and that's where I think where it really started. "So what was that all about?" I asked him. "Nothing really, she was just telling me some funny stuff that went on at work today," he explained. "Oh!" he smiled. "I think Mavis and I are starting to get to the friend zone," he was rubbing the back of his head. "Really! I thought you two didn't like each other cause of what happened back then," I brought up. "Well the pass is the pass and we need to forget about it and leave it behind," he said as I gritted my teeth. "Are you two gonna get back together?" I asked not being rhetorical.

"I wouldn't know that, but she seems like she wants to be cool with me again," he said. "Is that right," his eyes got sharp and he stared right at me. "Okay what's your problem, just today you kinda seemed worried, but now you seem jealous." he accused. "I'm not jealous I'm just stating facts," I said as he rolled his eyes. "Bullshit! You're just hating at this point," he accused again. "No, I'm not," I came close to him. "Then why are you being so uptight today?" he asked with his arms crossed. I couldn't take it anymore and I just went in and gave him a long passionate kiss. What really surprised me was that he kissed me back and brought me in. After that, I'm not gonna go into detail, but that's how we both ended up in bed naked together.

I'm extra sore today. I'm not sure if it's because of practice or the sex. Now things will never be the same cause it's either gonna be awkward or just not the same as it used to be.
