Lucy POV
Soccer practice had just ended and I was so glad. The reason why is because of Aquarius. She literally has been getting on me every practice. She never gives me a break. She always calls me the rookie of the team. I can just tell she dislikes me very much. So as you can see I was very happy to leave the practice. Plus Natsu and I were going to the mall to go shopping. I mostly wanted to go shopping. Natsu said he was going to tag along just so he could get some new shoes.
I was walking out of the school and I see Natsu drive up. "Get in I got a curfew tonight," he said. I got in quickly and he drove off pretty fast. "Why you have a curfew tonight?" I asked him. He sighed and said: "Guildarts said we're gonna be leaving early tomorrow morning and we're not going to be coming back for a week, and he said he'll leave us if we're not on time," she explained. "Okay makes sense," I said. "So how are you and soccer, gymnastics, and aren't you going to do swimming?" he asked me. "I'm stressed out," I exclaimed. "How come?" he asked me.
"Because Aquaris is always coming at me at practice. She is making me do the most work like I'm captain," I sighed. "Well you have to remember you are the rookie, and you seem like you don't do a bad job on the field, but almost every sport you like to do Aquaris seems to be the coach for it," he exclaimed. "I know right, it's like she loves to torture me," I whined. "Well calm down I don't want you to bring a bad vibe while we're hanging out," he said. "Okay I won't, I'll change the subject, so how is your relationship status," I asked him. "Terrible at this point," he said. "How come, did Gray not like you back?" I asked him. "I told him and we've been hanging out, but the problem is he and Juvia want split," he explained. "He's too scared to tell her with his Ice Prick self," he gritted his teeth.
"Question Natsu who's the man and the woman in the relationship," I asked him trying not to laugh. "Neither one of us acts like a woman Luce were both grown-ass men," he sternly said. It got quiet until the both of us busted out laughing. We finally arrived at Magnolia Mall and he parked his car. "Ok Lucy before we actually go into this place I need you to pretend to be gay just for me," he said like it was nothing. "WHAT!" I yelled. "Why do I have to pretend to be gay?" I asked him. "Ok you know the captain of the football team from Sabertooth, the blond dude?" he asked me as I had to remember. "You mean the one you kinda got into fights and arguments with?" I said.
"Yeah, that one. Turns out we're going on a date, but a double date," he said. "Natsu what happened to Gray, aren't you two going to try and make it official?" I asked him as he thought about it. "We were, but he can't seem to accept himself so I might as well move along," he roughly said. In this case, Natsu is the woman because he is being very sassy. "Is this a real date or a fake date?" I asked him. "It's fake!" he said. "It is? Why am I included?" I asked him. "Well, Gray is here along with Sting's lover Rogue. Now I had to bring you along because his girl best friend Yukino wants to get back at her ex Minerva," he explained to me. "So I'm being hooked up with this Yukino girl?" I asked him. "Yes, Lucy! The four of us are going to pretend like we are on a date, so we can make the exes jealous," he exclaimed once again. "
I didn't know we had stopped in front of Panda Express to I guess see Sting and Yukino sitting at a table. "Sup Natsu!" Sting greeted kinda giving him a bro hug. That doesn't look like two people on a date that looks like friends to me. The girl Yukino blushed and she waved at me. I'm straight, but she seemed like a nice sweet girl who had a nice body. Natsu sat right next to Sting and I sat next to Yukino. She seemed kinda nervous and happy at the same time. Natsu already started talking to Sting about whatever. "I have seen you somewhere before?" she asked me as I thought about it. "I'm not sure I mean we have played against you guys but I'm not sure," I honestly answered. She kept thinking for a little until she snapped her fingers.
"Oh I know who you are, your Lucy, don't you play on the soccer and swim team?" she asked me. "Yeah, why?" I asked her. "Well I know it's weird, but my ex Minerva always complains about you every time we play against you guys," she said. "I'm sorry if I'm so bad on the field," I said as I could see Sting snickering. "No she doesn't mean it in that type of way, she means it in a good way. Like after the game it is funny because she is mad." Sting exclaimed. I kinda wanted to laugh but I held it back.
I looked around to see most people walking around, but also Gray who was with Juvia. He couldn't focus on what he was doing. I zoom back into the conversation we were all having. "If you think about it what if dragons did exist?" Sting asked all of sudden in general. Okay, I never got why Natsu, Gajeel, and even Wendy all like dragons. I'm guessing it's a family thing, but my family especially my mom's side of the family like dragons. "I'm not sure if that would either be good or bad because what if they eat us?" Yukino asked.
"I think they only eat you if you either mess or trespass on their property," Natsu exclaimed. I snickered because it kinda reminded me of what happened in art class today. We were all supposed to exchange pictures with each other and Natsu gave Juvia a dragon eating a girl. Now that I think about it Juvia might have been the girl being eaten by a red dragon which is probably Natsu. I never knew Natsu would dislike Juvia. He never paid that much attention to her until now.
"We should get something to eat," I said because I was very hungry. I haven't eaten since my snack break. "Yeah I'm starving I haven't eaten since practice," Sting agreed. "You guys should eat before practice it's bad to play on an empty stomach." Yukino nervously said. "Well I eat all the time, so I wouldn't have to worry," Natsu bragged. I got up from my seat and Sting decided to come with me while Natsu and Yukino just sat there and chatted. I guess the two blonds have to go get the food.
While Sting and I were in line I was going to start a conversation. "So why you and Natsu plan a fake date out?" I asked him. He rubbed the back of his neck and did a small laugh. "What made you ask that question?" he asked. "Well after soccer practice Natsu just dragged me over here and I didn't clearly get the explanation of what was going on here," I exclaimed. "Well I am bisexual and Yukino is more of a bi-curious. I know Natsu is gay which I thought he was into girls and you are as Natsu says a queer or something. I didn't quite get your sexuality," he smiled. "So who planned this whole thing out?" I asked him. "Well I did," he admitted. "For what reason exactly?" I asked. "Well you might have seen him, but my boyfriend the pale dude with red eyes who looks emo and dead is upset with me and said 'We need a break and to go do whatever you want with whoever you want,'" I had to think about it. He's very slow, he does understand his boyfriend was being very sarcastic.
"I know who you are talking about I encounter him a few times, but I think he was being sarcastic with you about going out with anybody. Natsu and Gray seem to kinda be on a break so you two seem perfect as a fake couple," I exclaimed. "Yeah I know this kinda seems wrong, but we're on a fake date to make Gray and Rogue jealous," he said. He and Natsu are very petty, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody gets hurt within all that's going on. "So about Yukino what happened with her and Minerva if you don't mind me asking?" I asked him.
"The two got into a heated argument because Minerva's dad found out Minerva was gay and Minvera was ashamed to say it was Yukino, and Yukino got mad so the two broke up," he explained. "What does this have to do with me coming here?" I asked him again. I know I'm annoying him at this point. "Well Yukino found interest in you because I'm not sure if you guys encountered before, but Natsu mentioned you and she seems interested. So Natsu said we all should double date," he said. I see now, so Natsu basically set me up on a date. I don't know why he would set me up on a date. Sting and I ordered the food and came back to the table. Yukino looked up at me and blushed. After we all kinda went our separate ways to hang out.
Yukino and I were both walking around the mall in silence. "So who did you get out of a relationship with?" she nervously asked me. "I'm not sure if I was in a relationship or not, it was complicated," I answered. "I know how you feel, sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable," she blushed. "You're honestly not making me uncomfortable, but how did you know about me? I haven't seen you around until my freshman year in high school at Sabetooth vs. Fairytail games, the others I have seen since I was little," I told her.
"Oh I had moved to a new school my high school year, so you know Sting, Rogue, Minerva, Orga, Rufus, and Dodgenbal?" she asked. "Yeah Natsu and some of the people I go to school with known them since some of us were in grade school. I remember Sting because he reminded me of Natsu, Rogue seems to keep to himself, Minerva was a second Erza to me, along with Orga being like a Gajeel, Rufus was a smart ass to me, and Dodgenbal I call him the wannabe ninja." I described. "Wait why you call him the wannabe ninja?" she asked. "Because every time he came to school he always had on something ninja related, but don't tell him what I said," I told her as she giggled.
"He still does that, but he knows how to fight. I will be asking if he could teach me ninja stuff, but he only shows me the basics," she said. "Why don't you guys communicate anymore?" she asked me. "Well, there were other people we went to school with that go to rival schools that we were friends with, but going to different schools affected us," I explained. "Oh that must be sad because you guys don't get along anymore, I heard about the fight that went down at the beach trip," she said.
"It was funny how our teacher cursed everybody out though and told off you guys principal," I giggled. "Yeah he was very mad that day, he always gets mad every time Sabertooth loses against Fairytail." she nervously said. "Well I'm sorry if we beat you guys all the time, but your principal needs to learn to chill." I chanted as she giggled. "He does, you should have seen his face when he heard that Minerva was gay and with me." she giggled.
Yukino and I walked outside to see Natsu and Sting outside. "Well I see you around!" she blushed. "You too, I guess I'll see you at our next game," I smiled. She had given me a hug and then a kiss. I wanted to freak out because this is my first kiss with a girl. Well, really I kissed my friends that were girls because we all use to tell guys we didn't like that we were lesbians. Some didn't believe us so we kissed to prove them wrong.
Sting had taken a picture and smiled. I honestly wanted to take his phone and then delete the picture. Like what if he posts the picture on his page. He has a bunch of followers like he has 20k followers. He's doing other stuff so he's popular. Yukino and I parted and she smiled and said: "See you around!".
Natsu and I left his car and I was shocked. We both got in his car and drove off to Zeref's house so he could drop me off. "So Natsu what made you set me up with Yukino?" I asked randomly. He was silent for a second until he started talking. "Well non of the girls I'm friends with that go both ways were already in a relationship. Plus you and my brother were so complicated because Mavis is into him again and you seem jealous. So I wanted to help you out so you could get back at him," he explained. "Thank you Natsu, but I'm not bisexual," I told him. "How come you and the girls are always kissing on each other when we're out hanging out sometimes?" he asked me. "To make the boys back off!" I exclaimed.
"Oh! I thought you were bi-curious because you were with some guys and then girls. I kept wondering is she experimenting?" he asked himself. "I wasn't experimenting," I exclaimed. "That's what Zeref said when my dad found him in his room kissing a dude name Invel," he said. "It was so funny because he said it like it was nothing when really he was peeing his pants as I thought when I was little but it was white. Pee is yellow, not white and I was wondering what else was going on. Zeref was grounded I don't know for how long and my parents and him had to sit down with the other dude's parents and him and talk out with what happened in the room," he explained and I tried my best not to laugh. But I couldn't hold it in.
"What's so funny?" he asked me. "Oh, nothing just that whole experimenting thing that happened," I said. "I'm surprised I haven't teased him about it. Mostly because I never knew what was going on," he said. "Oh, Natsu!" I said laughing some more.
