Lucy POV
I was in the office because I was in trouble for getting into a fight with one of the players at Sabertooth during the game. If your wondering who it was; it was Minerva Orland, the team captain, 2nd year at Sabetooth Academy, the principal's daughter, student body president, and also the captain of the swim team. Minerva and I didn't have the best relationship. Let's say she was an unlikeable person in my book. I would say she's a rival, but that rivalry is between Erza and her. I'll tell you how it all came to be.
Today was the first game against Sabertooth this season for soccer. I was currently in class doing my work. Zeref was talking about an essay we all had to do over the weekend about how the Internet Influence Kids. He didn't want to do it, but Mavis had talked him into doing so because of the school board who insisted because people have been getting exposed online.
Some people in my class have been exposed. Like Erza, Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, Laxus, Juvia, Cana, and Elfman. I felt bad for them but they didn't seem bothered by what had happened to except for Juvia who was crying while the others were pissed off. Cana not so much because she is usually drunk half the time. I honestly wasn't paying attention to what Zeref was talking about so I started to zone out. Natsu tapped me on the shoulder from behind and I looked back.
"What?"I asked. He had his phone out and he showed me a picture of me in a little bit of clothing but under it had a lot of mean words a girl would wish to never be called. It was the picture that was used when I was getting money for showing my body. I wasn't showing that much of it, but it was mostly my cleavage showing. "When did this happen?" he asked confused. "I'll tell you during the I free period!" I blushed nervously. He nodded and was taken back the entire class period. After the bell ringed everybody; of course left to go do their own thing. Zeref left with some paperwork he had to go turn in which left me and Natsu in the class alone.
"So why is there a half-naked picture of you?" he asked. "You do realize you're being exposed? When did you even take this Lucy?" he was confused. I haven't told Natsu what I was doing to get money so I could pay rent and bills. "Natsu you know how I told you I didn't ask my parents to help with money or anything?" I asked him and he nodded. "Well when I needed to pay rent and bills I would show my body for money," I was nervous. My heart was beating I didn't know how he would exactly react.
"Luce if you needed money that bad you could have asked me, I would have gladly handed you the money. You don't need to show off your body to get money. Just why would you even do this, stuff like this comes to bite you in the ass like it is right now," he angrily yelled, but not loud enough for people to hear him. Nobody wasn't around where we were so they couldn't hear us.
"Natsu it's not that easy!" I cried. "Do you know what my father expects us to do once I get done with school?" I rhetorically asked him. "That man expects me to be married to some stranger as soon as I turn 18 and get done with high school and have a baby boy with the guy. He doesn't want me to go to school or anything he just wants me to be married to some rich man for the family business," I exclaimed.
"Does your mom know about it?" he asked me. "No, she doesn't know about anything. He threatened to take me out of school if I did, and my mom wants me to finish school and make friends," I told him. "As soon as I turn 18, graduate, and have enough money, I'm leaving and going to college. I'm not going to go back and be forced to do something I don't want to do," I wiped away my tears.
"Lucy I'm sorry, I just can't stand to see someone so close to me suffer," he admitted. "I understand Natsu, but you just have to let me find my way. I can't always have help," I told him. "I understand! I just don't get why Minerva exposed you," he out of nowhere said. "What do you mean Minerva? Minerva Orland, the girl who never liked me, and I sometimes got into it with?" I asked him. "Yeah! The picture is on her page, why the hell did she do it?" he asked me. "I honestly don't know why she did it. I feel like she did because we're going against them today and she's just trying to mess with me," I told him.
"That reason does and doesn't make sense," he snickered. "Shut up, it's the best I got," I said. "Question?" he asked. "Yeah what's up?" I said. "How come my brother let you live with him in the first place. You couldn't have told him you needed a place to stay the first week. He would have had to see you when you were offering...services," he slowly said the last word. He looked at me like I had just killed someone.
"Wait did my brother see you naked?" he asked me. "Ummm," I blushed and looked away from him. "He didn't he?" he asked grinning and laughing. I just nodded and he laughed some more. "I'm surprised you didn't have sex with the guy," he said. I didn't say anything, letting him know that I did have sex with Zeref. He fell to the floor laughing and crying tears of joy. I blushed because my best friend now knew that I had sex with his brother.
Natsu had finally stopped laughing to catch his breath and got up off the floor. "I would ask how it was, but I don't want to know about my brother's sex life. I caught him doing it with girls, and surprisingly guys at that time. I remember I first caught him in a room with the same kid white-haired kid in his room. They both were naked and Zeref was hitting him from behind. I asked him what he was doing and he said a project from sex education," he snickered. "I don't know why he tells me about Zeref's sex life, but it's funny for some odd reason.
"What about him and Mavis?" I asked him. He cocked his eyebrow up and smirked. "Do you have a crush on him or something?" I nodded. "Don't tell him. He and Mavis seem to have gotten back together. I mean it's nice there getting along, but I feel like she's trying to get back together with him," I told him. "That's ridiculous, Zeref doesn't even like Mavis like that. As a friend yes, but more than that is a no-go," he said.
"Yeah, cause we did it but then like we just stopped. I told him how I felt, but I didn't want to be with him because he is my teacher and that's inappropriate. But now that he's being respectful of that I just feel like a complete idiot now. I'm trying to move on," I exclaimed.
"Well why don't you go out with Yukino again, haven't you guys been texting?" he asked me. "We've been texting, but the truth is I'm not sure if I find interest in girls or not," I sighed. "I like men, not boys and I'm not sure about girls, and I don't like women," I told him. "You make liking people seem complicated. Like I figured I was gay when I just couldn't find the woman for me and I've been with a lot of girls and women. Like a lot, it got to the point Zeref just started giving me condoms for my birthday and my parents always had me get tested," he bragged. "You're a womanizer!" I giggled. "And you're a manizer! Were even," he smirked.
The bell had runged and everybody returned to class. The whole day went by normally except with people in class coming up to me asking why I got exposed. They knew it was Minerva who exposed me, but the problem was they wanted to get back at her or try and fight the Saber's since we're going against them tonight.
Once class ended for the day everybody had to leave to go to their afterschool activities. I walked into the girls' locker room so I could go change into my jersey. Before I could do that Coach Aquaris had called me into her office. I wonder what she has to say to me now.
"You wanted to see me?" I asked her. "Yes, that's why I called you in here," she looked at me like I was dumb. "Why did you exactly call me in here?" I asked her. "Lucy, I have been reported and seen a picture of you half-naked," she sounded furious. My heart started to rapidly beat, but not in a good kind of way. "Aquaris I haven't posted anything of my areas online," I cried. "Yeah, I know that! I'll just report this to the council because that is child pornography," she exclaimed.
"Do you know who did this?" she asked me. "Um yes! My friend, Natsu told me who posted the picture because he knows everybody and follows them and they follow him. So it's a girl named Minerva I knew since I was little. Even some people in the class know her," I told her. "Wait, you mean the Saber who is the captain of the soccer team from Sabertooth?" she asked me. I nodded my head slowly. "Yeah her," I told her. "Well, I have to report this Lucy. I can't have one of my players being exposed online around this or anytime. You could get kicked off the team and taken out of Fairytail or any private boarding school in Fiore for this. You can also not get accepted into any college's or you might not be able to go D1," she exclaimed.
I didn't know it could go that far. This may explain why some kids from Quatro Cerbuses are in traditional schools. "Ok go get into your uniform and I'll call the council," she said shooing me away.
I left to go put on my jersey and was avoiding speaking to anybody. I think almost everybody saw the picture. After I was done getting dress I put my AirPods in and played some music. I was sitting by myself because I didn't feel like explaining to anybody why Minerva would post that picture of me. I sighed and almost wanted to cry until somebody tapped my shoulder. I looked to see it was Laxus who had tapped me on the shoulder. "You alright?" he asked me as I shook my head.
"No! Almost everybody has seen the picture," I told him. I know you're probably wondering why are me and Laxus talking to each other. Turns out Laxus knew about my secret before Zeref and Natsu even figured it out. The way he found out was because he came to the place I was working at and requested to be pleasured or have someone listen to him. It was a coincidence that I was sent to do the job. It was weird doing it with him because I knew him.
He was surprised, but I had threatened to tell Freed on him if he were to ever speak of this. He and Freed were going out or trying to get together around that time, but Laxus had his own needs he had to fulfill. He stopped doing it once they were official, but just in case he said something I would tell Freed.
"Yeah, I saw Minerva posted it, for whatever reason," he said. "I don't know why she posting half-naked pictures of me," I sighed. "What you do to piss her off?" he asked. "I don't know, I haven't talked to Minerva since the last time we Fairy Tail went against Sabertooth," I exclaimed. "Well you do know that if the council sees this you can be kicked out of the academy, right?" he asked me. "Yeah, that's what Aquaris was talking to me about. I told her someone posted the picture of me which they did and she said she was going to report the council about this," I explained.
"Oh well since you're playing against them tonight my best advice is to show her better than you can tell her," he surprisingly advised. "Wow, I never knew you were the wise one Laxus," I joked. "I am when I tell people, but when I do it myself I don't seem like it. If you show that you're not bothered she will keep doing stuff to you unless you shut her down, but you might get suspended for fighting," he said. "Wouldn't it just be easier to beat her ass?" I asked. "No!" he simply said. "You have to get rid of the fire," he wicked. "Good luck on your game!" he dapped me.
"Aren't you coming to the game?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'm coming because I need extra credit in Zeref's class," he exclaimed. "If you stop skipping class then you wouldn't have to go," I told him. "I know, I use to skip class just so I can get with Mirajane, but then I started to chill and relax, or pleasure Freed plus I already make good grades," he exclaimed.
"Don't you and Freed already do it in the dorms?" I asked him. "No, because Freed is very loud, so we have to go somewhere private," he explained. "Makes sense," I nodded. "Yeah, he doesn't even like you because he thought something was going on between us," he sighed. "Yeah, I notice every time he gives me the evil eye when we talk like he's doing now," I said as he looked behind him to see Freed glaring.
I swear he is the boy version of Juvia. "He doesn't know does he?" I asked him. "No, and he shouldn't know about it because then he's going to go full Juvia mode. It's best not to tell what happened. I didn't fin to waste my money plus I have been wanting to do it, but I don't do it anymore, I'm loyal!" he said as I blushed. "I'll talk to you later!" he said leaving to go to Freed. I
Later they called all the players to the bus so we could leave to go to Sabertooth. While on the way there I was in the back alone because I didn't want to be bothered with it. Some girls on the team were comforting me about the picture. They were even offering to kick Minerva's ass for me, but I told them not to do it. I don't want anybody to be involved in my problem.
Once we made it to Sabertooth, the team and I all stretched and warm-up. When we were all talking I saw Yukino come up to me all worried. She was in her cheerleader uniform. She ran up to me all concerned. "Hey Lucy, are you okay about what happened today?" she asked. "Yeah I'll be okay," I told her. "Yeah, because that was wrong with what Minerva did to you," she said. "Yeah, why did she do it?" I asked. "Well you know how your friend Natsu set me and you up on a little date?" she blushed. "Yes!" I answered.
"She is my ex as I told you before. She found out because Sting posted it on his story she got mad when she saw it. Then she got upset because she thought I moved on and she knew we had been talking, so she was so enraged that she searched you up online and dug up some dirt on you," she explained.
"That explains everything. Yukino I almost got kicked off the team and the council is going to know about this along with my parents," I told her. "I'm sorry something like this happened to you," she started to tear up. "It's ok it's not your fault that something like this happened though you are the cause of it, it is ok because I'll handle my business," I smiled. "Wait what are you going to do?" she asked worriedly. "I'm going to just do me," I said.
"You do know that if you're not bothered she will just keep doing it right?" she asked me as I nodded. "Well yeah, she does know that we've only kinda been out once? Plus I'm just not going to show attention to the situation because she's going to get in trouble for posting these pictures of me," I said. "Oh well I just wanted to make sure you were doing okay," she said. "I am thanks," I told her and she gave me a quick hug. "Good luck!" she waved while she went to go join the other cheerleaders.
I turned back and Aquaris smirked at me. "Is that your girlfriend?" she cooed. "No, I'm not gay," I simply answered. "Must be bisexual then," she said. "I'm not, I'm straight," I blushed. Sure I will admit I offered services to two women which kinda was weird to me at first, but I got the hang of it. "I like men!" I told her. "Oh like Zeref?" she asked and I said: "Yes!" without thinking about what she asked.
"Um I mean not Zeref," I automatically corrected and she smirked. "I knew it!" she said. "I knew something was going on between you two," she pointed at me while still smirking. "You know this explains everything and why it all makes sense," she said. "What do you mean?" I asked her.
"What I mean is every time you're late for practice he seems to always get you out of trouble by walking you to practice himself. At first, I'm like this must be because of her grades but you have all A's in your classes, so it must have been to talk to him alone while everybody else was gone. Second, every time we always have a school celebration and the students could come and dress up you always have on those sexy clothes and it's not to impress the boys that be drooling all over you. Third, whenever Mavis is talking or laughing with Zeref I can see the jealousy in your eyes when you watch her try and get him. Fourth, I see Zeref constantly check you out when you aren't looking. Fifth, he always gets upset when he sees Natsu and you hanging out. Last but not least, you live with him," she exclaimed.
"Wait how do you know about that?" I asked wanting to know. "One you just told me and two I had to see for myself. I was trying to see if you wouldn't mind teaching some little kids for an hour when they came to practice during the week. You seem like you like to help people so I needed you to train some little kids so I could get some work done. I went to the dorms to go find you, but I couldn't for some reason and I asked all your close friends and even your teammates. They didn't know what door you were in, so I thought you lived outside the school. I was correct and I went to the main office to look in your file and see where you lived and I found the address. When I made it there I asked your landlord where you were at, but she didn't seem to know either. I would always see you leave school and then I had to pay attention and see you would leave with Zeref. I followed Zeref's car to see you lived with him. I had to make sure and turns out you do live with him," she crossed her arms.
"You did all that just to ask me to coach little kids?" I asked her. "Not exactly, I just had to make sure," she said. "Well nothing is going on and nothing happened," I lied. "Bullshit I'm not slow Lucy," she glared at me. "At one point you guys are close with each other but then after you back from the trip your class went on it was obvious something happened for you two to not talk anymore," she said. "Well because he wanted a relationship and I wanted one too, but it's inappropriate to date a teacher. They say it's not wrong but it is," I explained.
"Explains everything! Look you do realize there are and were teacher-student relationships at Fairy Tail right?" she asked as I shook my head. "There are Mirajane and Laxus, Guildarts and Laki, Natsu and Mavis at the beginning of the year, Wendy and Mest, Romeo and Kinana, and some others," she said. "Wait, Natsu and Mavis?" I was surprised. "Yeah, I'm surprised too, she's the goody-two-shoes," she said. "Oh wow!" I said. The referee blew his whistle for captains to come and I and this other girl went. When I went up there I saw Minerva and some girl I didn't pay much attention to. Minerva was glaring at me. It felt like she was trying to kill me with looks.
The ref was saying something I wasn't paying attention to, which were probably the rules. He flipped the coin and she said "Heads!" while still glaring at me. "Heads it is. You guys want to start which way?" he asked them. "Left," she answered. We walked away towards the team to go tell them and we were all talking before we went on the field to play.
I went on the field as center midfield and the referee blew his whistle for the game to start. Not even 10 minutes into the game, Minerva and I kept eyeing each other. It was like that and Aquaris kept telling me to stay into the game and don't focus on her. I did as she said and focused. The first half was over and we were taking a five-minute break, but then after that, the fight had started when she kept knocking me down.
The referee wouldn't call it, so it got to the point she was in my face and I backed her up. We exchanged a few words that made her lung and try to punch me. Luckily I dodged in time and I attacked her to the ground. We just started wrestling and then some girls from Sabertooth went to come back Minerva up and even Fairy Tail girls came and it got into a big bundle of girls fighting on the field.
Some people had to come to break the whole thing up. Immediately after the breaking up, they had made Minerva and I get off the field and go to the office.
I was in Sabertooth's principal office and when he came he looked very upset. I don't know why they just wouldn't sit us out the rest of the game. I don't feel like going through everything that happened detail by detail. Basically, what happened they were trying to decide a good punishment for Minerva and me which was being not playing the next two games. Normally they wouldn't do that, but since Minerva posted the picture and I had a job outside of the school we both got in trouble.
I was pissed off because they didn't expel Minerva for what she did. They had to report cyberbullying so they could take the picture off social media. The punishment they made Minerva do was stay at the dorms and clean up around the area. I didn't like how she didn't get in trouble like I did or even kicked out of school like I could have gotten.
I swear people in this world can just be unfair. This is unreasonable punishment at school because I could have gotten kicked out of the academy, not be able to go to college, play sports, and not be able to go to any academy or private schools. This is just bullshit!
