Clarke was walking around the forest in the middle of the night. She knows how dangerous that is, but if the baby she's holding doesn't get her nightly walk, then she is for sure not getting sleep tonight. She looks down at the now sleeping child and heads back to where they were staying.

Clarke remembers when she met this little one. It was a few days after Mount weather…..

Her people had been saved from the mountain men. She should be happy, right? Wrong. She felt like the worst person in the world. She just killed 381 men, women, and children. All to save her own. Was all this killing even worth it?

As they were walking back to Camp Jaha, Clarke had decided that she could not bear to look at her people without feeling guilty. They were all happy to be together. She knows that's why she did it. She bares it so they don't have to.

She has just watched everyone go in and has said her goodbyes to Bellamy, who refuses to let her go. "Please don't go Clark. We did that together. If you want forgiveness, i'll give it to you." Bellamy tries to reach out for Clarke, but she backs away from him. "I have to do this. I can't be around them and pretend everything is fine. You have to let me go." Bellamy knows he has to trust Clarke and just nods his head. Clarke walks away without looking back.

It had been a couple of days since she decided to leave the Camp for good and she was really hungry. Living off berries and plants was not helping. She hadn't really been good at hunting, so now would be the perfect time to learn.

Not paying attention to where she is walking, she comes across the path to get to Mount weather. She knows it is too soon and probably should just walk away, but she is really hungry and needs supplies.

Clarke walks in and makes her way down each level trying to find supplies. She is walking down level 4 towards level 5 when she hears a faint cry. She stops walking and looks around, waiting to hear the cry again. Nothing happens for at least 5 mins and Clarke really needs to get some food in her because now she's hearing things.

As she's starting to walk away, she hears the cry again and makes her way towards the cry. The cry becomes louder once she starts moving a few boxes around until she finds the source of the noise. She opens the box and there she finds a small baby girl crying.

She picks up the baby and tries to find some food for her since she doesn't know how long the baby has been there. After looking and finding the box next to the baby, she sees that the infant supplies are in there. Whoever left this child must have really thought of everything.

At first she is confused as to how she is supposed to feed the baby girl with just the powder left in there and then she remembers how in the ark, her mother had shown her how to prepare a bottle for an infant that had lost their mother. She does exactly what she remembers and tries to feed the baby.

The girl immediately takes the bottle and Clarke can't help but to stare at the beautiful big blue-green eyes looking up at her. "Don't worry little one. I got you." Clarke knows nothing about being a mother or surviving in this world without technology, but from this moment on she knows she has to do it for this baby girl….

Clarke smiles at the memory and once they have reached the cave they are staying at, she lays down with the baby in the makeshift bed she made out of sticks and leaves. Once she is sure that the baby won't wake, she lets herself fall into a much needed sleep.

Hello! I am new to writing so I really hope this isn't that bad. After reading so many 100 fics, I decided to try and write one of my own. This story takes place just after Mount Weather. Not fully sure where i am going with this story just yet, but I do have some ideas. Please comment and review! I will try to update the next chapter soon!
