Chapter 10

TARA

It had been a couple of weeks since her sexual awakening. At least that's what she was referring to it as. And she felt amazing. She was officially more than half way along her pregnancy and was getting more and more excited to meet her baby.

She had decided to wait until the birth to find out the sex of the baby. She had a feeling it was a boy but liked the idea of being surprised. Things with work have been amazing, she was scheduled out for surgery up until her 36 week mark. She was hoping to deliver soon after that. She had decided she'd take a short maternity leave. 6-8 weeks max.

Katherine told her to play it by ear but Tara knew she'd want to be back. She also had no fears now that she had Katherine to take care of the new baby.

She and Katherine were doing stupendous, they had found a perfect rhythm with each other. Tara couldn't get enough of her body nor could she get enough of the Katherine induced orgasms her body had grown addicted to.

Tara did feel a bit twisted though.

She was lying to Jax.

Cheating on Jax.

She knew she had strong feelings for Katherine and that was making things even worse in her mind when she thought about the blonde biker.

The two of them had chatted on the phone and she was so happy when he said he really liked Katherine.

It caused her to think and think and then over think.

Tara was a researcher.

Always had been.

The first chance she had taken had been on Jax at sixteen and the second chance she had taken was on Katherine. Both were worth it. Now she needed to find a way to have her cake and eat if too.

She knew Jax was attracted to Katherine. She watched them closely when she said she had to use the bathroom. It seemed like even Jax had fallen under Katherines spell. Everyone had really. The guys. Gemma. Hale.

Everyone was drawn to her like a moth to a flame. It made Tara feel some type of power knowing that she had Katherine in a way that all of the men in Charming wished they did.

The two of them had been doing so well and Katherine was starting to visit with Jax one on one. She was heading up tomorrow for another visit and Tara was thrilled.

You see Tara had been researching ways this new life she had built could work.

Throuple.

She had read about them for the past couple weeks and was fascinated by it.

She wanted it.

She wanted herself, Katherine, and Jax to all be together. When she really thought about it it made perfect sense. She knew it was odd and different but at this point in her life she didn't care.

Her happiness and the happiness of her family would be first. If the small minded people of Charming had a problem they could shove it.

However, since learning about this she wasn't sure how to break the subject to Katherine and Jax.

She and Katherine hadn't really talked about what will happen when Jax comes home. But she hadn't discussed that with Jax yet either. As she learned more about Katherine she knew she would be open to the throuple relationship but she would need to be the last to know.

Katherine would never accept until she knew Jax was all in.

So Tara decided that she would first get Jax on board and then take on Katherine. As she pulled into the driveway and made her way into the home she heard Katherine singing as usual. She was making dinner and must have just gotten back from a run.

She and Abel were laughing and Tara couldn't help but smile. She walked right into the kitchen and laid a small kiss on Katherines lips. Katherine smiled and gave her another small peck. She then kissed Abel and tickled his belly.

"Go wash up doctor. I'm hungry."

Tara headed down the hall with dreams of the future dancing around her head.

KATHERINE (couple weeks later)

It was her fourth solo visit with Jax today. Solo meaning without Tara. She had decided to come up during the weekdays because it was quieter. However, today was different.

She had driven with Gemma after the matriarch came by the house. She had been on her way to see Clay and decided to carpool.

Katherine really liked Gemma. She did. She just got a feeling in her belly that the older woman was aware of something going on between her and Tara.

She hadn't come out and said anything but she did often make comments about how cute they were as a family and how close they were. She also pointed out how happy Tara always looked around her and that she was a much calmer person with Katherine around.

Maybe she was just reading to much into it. Katherine had started to feel a tinge if guilt since she started getting close to Jax. She was essentially the "other woman" in his relationship only she was sleeping with his old lady.

Things had gotten even more awkward when she started noticing how handsome the blonde biker was. They had a chemistry that was similar to her and Tara and she knew the sexual tension was building with each visit and phone call.

Jax was finally brought into the area and Katherine also saw Clay walk over to Gemma. He gave her a warm smile and she returned it with a small wave. She had been distracted and didn't notice that Jax had sat down. He could tell she was distracted and she finally looked toward him and saw that he was smiling at her.

"Hi." She said embarrassingly toward him.

"Hi darlin. It's been a long time."

"Yeah I whole four days since we last spoke, so much has happened." She smirked.

"Well then do tell." He smirked while reaching for Abel.

The two fell into their normal banter. She'd tell him all about the house projects she was working on or planning on starting. She had promised to bring pictures with her soon to show him. She told him about her vlog series and that she enjoyed getting back into it. She had a pretty good following on line and it was just something fun for her.

Only now she was happy because she actually started to make a little bit of money from it. Enough where she was comfortable and could afford to live life. She was minimalist in style but she did love Target and lived for her Starbucks.

She did bring plenty of pictures she had taken of Abel for him and he mentioned that he'd hang them up on his wall. She felt a little odd because some of the pictures were her and Abel but it was only because Tara insisted on never taking photos.

"So what's on your agenda for the week?" Jax asked.

"Well, Taras pushing towards 30 weeks so I'm planning her baby shower for next week. She and I have not seen eye to eye on a shower but I planned a really nice one and she better be happy. It's super low key and quiet. Heaven forbid she be the center of attention."

"Yeah she's never been the type." He chuckled.

"You don't say!" She spoke with mock surprises "Sooo any hunches on what we're expecting daddy?"

She asked him innocently. However she didn't miss the split second of desire that took over his eyes and features. Before she could register them they were gone. He coughed and composed himself.

"I'm thinking boy. Totally boy." His smile took over his face.

Katherine nodded her head "I agree and so does she. She woke me up the other night to tell me she had another boy dream."

As the two continued to talk it seemed that they moved closer and closer to one another without even noticing. By the time the five minute warning was given they had been right next to each other with her knee touching his. His hand was resting on her thigh while she cradled Abel to her and gave him kisses. He had fallen asleep a while ago.

"Am I gonna see you this week?" He asked while she was gathering Abels things.

"Of course you will big guy." She replied with a smile. She ran her fingers through her hair.

"Don't do anything to crazy alright? Tara may be all free and happy but her 'type A' side I'm sure is itching to come out." He warned light heartedly.

"Oh yeah. I know, I got the lecture about the importance of punctuation when I sent a text without it..." she laughed and so did he. "Other than that though I'm just enjoying living the dream. Ya know, stay at home wife to a gorgeous doctor and all that."

Again, his features had a look she couldn't place. Katherine wasn't sure what was going to happen when he got home or even where her and Tara would be in the next few months. But she'd be lying if she said she didn't hope to see where this all could go.

They said their final goodbyes and he brushed her cheek with a feather light kiss before the guard could see. She watched him walk back to the other side of the glass and down the hall. She watched until she couldn't see him anymore.

She felt an arm wrap around her shoulders and knew it was Gemma.

"Come on baby. Let's head home."

The two of them started the drive back to Charming.
