Chapter 13

JAX

I'm not sure what to expect. A guard told me I had a visitor but it was Tuesday. My visits were usually Katherine on Wednesday and Saturday and my mom on Thursdays. Tara and I had talked briefly last night, she told me Katherine was a "go" on their relationship idea.

I was so confused by it all.

I hope Tara is doing this because she wants to and not because she had some weird fear that I'm going to cheat on her. Again.

Tara had insisted that this would be perfect for all of us. She had mentioned that she and Katherine had talked a lot about it and both were ready for this new life.

I suppose I should be thankful. I mean what man wouldn't want two gorgeous women to go home too. One who was a doctor and the other who kept the home and kids running like a well oiled machine.

I was a lucky bastard.

Katherine and Jax immediately clicked well together. He enjoyed her company and felt like a moth drawn to a flame. She was young, smart, witty, and her ability to calm him was unreal.

He smiled when he made his way to the visitation area. Off in the far back corner was the girl that was changing everything around him as he knew it.

"I'll turn my back for five minutes Teller." The guard Mike spoke quietly when he passed him.

Jax knew what that meant.

He made his way over to her and she smiled a shy smile.

"Hi there." She spoke softly.

"Hi gorgeous."

He saw her swallow and her eyes burned. Jax sat down on the bench next to her. Using his body to shield her from any eyes that could be watching. Without hesitation he kissed her. And Jesus Christ as witness Tara hadn't lied when she said it would all make sense when he was out and able to be free again.

Katherines mouth was soft and sweet and she allowed him to dominate her. Her sounds were enough to drive him insane.

Jax knew they couldn't get out of control. He would have taken her right on the table if they hadn't been surrounded by inmates and guards. The two toned it down and allowed time to lazily explore each other.

Pulling back for air she took some deep breaths and locked her eyes with his.

"So worth it." She said with a smile.

He smirked at her and cupped her cheek before kissing her once more. Jax then stood up and walked to the other side of the table. He looked at Mike and he winked with a subtle thumbs up. Jax had to laugh.

"How much did that cost you?"

"Eeeehhh. $200 and some cookies. He's a nice kid." She replied.

"So. I'm assuming we have a lot to talk about." he says.

She nods her head and bites her lip. She's looking at the table gathering her thoughts and finally her eyes meet the blue.

"How do you feel about it?" She asks.

"Honestly, I was confused at first. I thought Tara had lost her mind or something...Then I thought about it some more and realized it kind of made sense... She's way happier with you in her life. I'm happier with you in my life. I think we could make it work."

She nodded her head. She held both of his hands in hers.

"It's not going to be easy all the time you know. We're going to have problems just like every other relationship does."

"I know that. I mean there's no manual on how to do this but I'm willing to try."

She smiled. "Me too."

"So what's going on at home?"

She smiled at the use of words. "Nothing to crazy. Finished the nursery. Waiting for the baby to get here. Abels doing amazing. I can't believe how big he is. He's waking and running now! My parents and I talked about them visiting when you get home. I told them a little about this thing but I'll need to explain the rest."

"And how are they going to react?"

She laughed. "My parents are very... open. Always have been. They're gonna be just fine with it. My moms a yoga hippie and my dad is a sex therapist, he'll probably want to study us. Your mother on the other hand..."

He ran a hand down his face. His mother was going to have a field day with this. He genuinely wasn't sure what her reaction would be.

She loved Katherine. She loved Tara. She had nothing but good things to say about them and the way they were raising Abel.

"Maybe she's going to surprise us." He suggested.

Katherine smiled. "She loves me. I'm sure I can get her on board.. Tara asked me to tell her.."

"Of course she did. Tara knows it's the best chance!"

"Yeah yeah yeah. You both suck."

He had to laugh. "How are the guys?"

"They're good. I actually was at the clubhouse a lot the last couple of days. Your mom asked me to design her office so I've been doing that. She has Abel today and tonight. I want to finish it for her by tomorrow night."

"Any of the guys know about you two?" He asked meaning her and Tara.

"Mmmmm I don't think so. We've been careful. I mean I can't wait till we don't have to be but... are you nervous about what they're gonna say?"

He laughed "Absolutely. I'm gonna get so much shit but it's going to be mostly pure jealousy. Going home to you two, I'll be the envy of every man in Charming."

She had a look cross her features and I knew she had something to say but had decided not to so he pushed a little.

"What is it babe?"

"Nothing. Not a big deal."

"Tell me." His voice left no room for argument. He saw her eyes roll and he wanted to punish her for it. It could wait.

"When I came to town I went out a couple times with David Hale. I ended things after the second date because we just didn't fit." She looked at me again "anyway, I ran into him yesterday and when he found out I had been 'working' for Tara he gave me a speech about you. I know a lot already Jax. I've been able to put things together but I know there's a huge part of you I don't know fully yet. I want to know everything."

"David Hale is a dick who's had it out for me since high school. He had a crush on Tara back then and holds a grudge now. I can't even imagine what's going to go through his head when this new relationship reaches his ears." Jax actually couldn't wait to stick it to Hale. "I know you need to know. So how about this, after we tell Gemma about it all I'll have her sit down with you and tell you everything."

"Okay." She accepted that answer and smiled.

"God. You're really attractive you know that?"

I couldn't hold back the leer that crossed my lips. "Oh really? What do you like most about me babe?" He asked.

She leaned forward just enough where he could see down her shirt. "I haven't been able to play with what I'm sure I'll love most about you."

He was never going to survive the next eight and a half months inside. At the end of the visit they said their goodbyes and she told him she'd be back tomorrow with Abel. She dropped an envelope on the table and smiled before walking away.

When he opens it there were photos inside. He quickly skimmed through them and saw some of Abel, some candid ones of Tara and Katherine he could tell each had taken of the other, and there were some selfies that had just Katherine or Katherine with Abel or Tara. There was at least 20 photos.

He could make it another eight months.

So by this point in the story we are about 6 or so months into the prison sentence. Abel is about 16 months. Tara is about to pop.

The throuple is officially happening.

some people are worried that this will turn into a jax hating tara or loving katehrine more and i want to be cleat that that is NOT happening. look up throuple and watch some docs on people loving this relationship for better understanding of what im striving for. :)

i loooooved tara and jax in the show but they were just so different and sucked at communication. they both had goals and dreams for their family but were not onthe same page ever. so im hoping that katherine works as the missing piece in the teller family and im hoping to work up to some type of happy ending after all the drama of course xoxxoxox
