Episode 16: Memories of the Sol Princess
Continuing to remember, Blaze is able to recall herself changing into her super form and the rift opens. Eggman Nega sees it and lets out an evil smile. Then begins to travel through it.
Blaze angrily says, "You're not getting away."
Blaze then travels into the drift to go after him. Blaze then begins to set an attack at her, but Eggman Nega sees Blaze's attack and decides to counter it. The laser from Eggman Nega's machine fires at Blaze, but the feline princess dodges the attack. She then tackles him and strikes at the machine hard. Then the machine ends up breaking into pieces and falls through the rift, along with the Chaos Emerald. Blaze then tries to reach the Chaos Emerald. Suddenly, Eggman Nega fires an energy blast from behind, and strikes at her.
The blast then causes Blaze to be knocked out and loses her super form. With that the Sol Emeralds end up separating from her, except for the only one she is able to grab before losing consciousness. Blaze then falls out of the rift and falls to the ground where Geoffrey and Hershy found her.
Moments later, Blaze ends up waking up in a cold sweat and is able to remember everything now.
Sonic asks, "Blaze? Are you going to be okay?"
Blaze turns to Sonic and the others and says, "Sonic, I… I remember. I remember what happened and who you are."
"We're glad to hear it Blaze. Are you okay?" Amy asks.
"I think so. My head still feels a bit fuzzy, but I'm able to remember most of it," Blaze says.
"That's good to hear," Sonic says.
Blaze then turns to Sally and says, "Thank you."
Sally and Nicole smile, along with Sonic and the others.
Tails then asks, "Blaze, do you think you can tell us what happened?"
"I believe I can. My memory is still a bit fuzzy, but I think I can remember most of it," Blaze says.
And so, Blaze explains to Sonic, Tails, and the others what happened. How she ended up crashing on Mobius and how she has a run in with Dr. Eggman Nega.
"So you and Dr. Eggman Nega ended up going through a rift in the sky, and he knocked out one of his machines and you were knocked out?" Sonic asks.
"Yes. Sadly, most of the Sol Emeralds were also scattered in the process. I was only able to hang on to this one Emerald, but I suspect that Dr. Nega could be somewhere in your world or might have found his way back to the Sol Dimension," Blaze says
"It will be bad if Dr. Eggman Nega is in either one of our worlds. I can still remember the trouble he caused us when he came to Mobius and teamed up with Dr. Eggman," Sonic says.
"And the time you told us that you and Tails ended up in Blaze's dimension," Amy says.
"Who knows what Dr. Nega could do if we don't find him," Cream says, concerned.
"Chao Chao," Cheese says, concerned.
"And it will be worse if Dr. Nega finds out Blaze is here," Tails says.
"Still, I wonder if Dr. Nega is even here," Sonic says.
Suddenly, Hikari appears on the screen, "Everyone, we have an emergency situation."
"What's wrong, Hikaru?" Sally asks.
"Nicole and I have just detected a spy drone is around the city," Hikaru says.
"A Spy Drone?" Sonic says, confused.
"Do you know where it is?" Tails asks.
"The Drone is somewhere close to Freedom HQ," Hikaru says
The group then grows concerned to hear the situation at hand.
"We need to catch that drone before it can return to its host," Nicole says.
Sally nods her head.
Then turns to her friends, "Sonic, Tails, see if you can find that drone, catch it, and bring it back here."
"No problem Sal," Sonic says.
"We better get going before it leaves," Tails says.
"Right," Sonic says.
The hedgehog and the twin tail fox hurry outside to find the drone. The two are outside of Freedom Hq and look around to find the drone. Soon, Tails notices it hiding in the bushes close by.
"Sonic, the Drone is over there," Tails says, pointing towards the bushes.
Sonic turns to see the drone, "There it is."
Sonic and Tails then hurry to the drone. Soon, the drone notices the two heading towards its hiding place, and begins to fly away.
"We can't lose that drone, Sonic," Tails says.
"Don't worry, we'll catch up to…" Sonic says.
But as they chase and get close to it, an electric bruise appears and short circuits the drone. As it crashes to the ground, Sonic and Tails look at the source of the blast to see Kyle holding a blaster with a smirk on his face.
"Well, looks like there's more than one way to blast a little spy fly," Kyle says.
"Kyle? What are you doing here?" Sonic asks, confused.
"I've been picking up some strange radio signals and I thought I should figure out where it's coming from. When I saw you two chasing the drone, I decided to assist you. Glad I've decided to bring my blaster," Kyle says.
"Thanks for helping us, Kyle. We think this drone has been spying on us and we were trying to catch it," Sonic says.
"Luckily you were here or we might never catch it," Tails says.
"It's no trouble. Now, let's go see if we can figure out something about this drone," Kyle says as he picks up the drone.
"Let's go talk to the others and see if they can help figure this out," Sonic says.
The three then decide to walk to Freedom HQ to figure out more about the drone. Unknown to the group, someone seems to be spying on them. It remains at the spot until the three walk inside Freedom HQ with the drone. Then leaves the scene.
A little time later, Sonic, Tails and Kyle have the drone placed on the table for the Freedom Fighters to see.
"We found this drone when we went outside. It's possible it must have been spying on us for who knows how long," Sonic says.
"And it might be possible that it saw us with Blaze," Tails says.
Sally turns to the screen, "Nicole. Hikari. Can you two scan the drone and see if you can find anything."
"Of course, Sally," Nicole says.
"We'll do our best," Hikari replies.
With that, Nicole and Hiraki begin to scan the mysterious drone as everyone watches and waits for results. Blaze is growing a little concerned to see the drone, and possibly it might have seen her.
Cream places her hand on Blaze's with a smile, "Don't worry Ms. Blaze, Sonic, Tails, and the others are here to help you."
"Thank you Cream," Blaze says, feeling a little better.
Soon, Nicole and Hikari are able to finish scanning the device.
"Sally, Hikaroi and I were able to finish scanning the drone, and we found a few strange and well recorded videos," Nicole says.
Nicole then changes the screen to show the drones video. To everyone's concern, it shows footage of Sonic and Blaze heading to Freedom HQ with the others, and the times when the Freedom Fighters are with Blaze. That makes everyone feel concerned about this.
"So it does know Blaze is at Freedom HQ," Sonic says.
"And whoever sent it must know Blaze is here with us," Amy adds.
"And knows where we are," Rotor added.
Then Hikari says, "And we have worse news. We were able to find a strange symbol on the bottom of the drone, and it looks very familiar, and yet kind of different."
Kyle then lifts the drone up to show the Freedom Fighters the logo. To their surprise the logo looks a lot similar to Eggman, but the mustache is curved up, and the eyes look like triangles, and it looks like it has teeth like a skull. However, it's familiar to Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese.
Seeing the drone, and the symbol of Dr. Eggman Nega, Sonic, Blaze and the others know that the situation has become dire.
"So Dr. Eggman Nega is the one who sent that drone," Sonic says.
"That creep sent a spy drone on us," Amy angrily says.
"You're right., but that also means that he knows Blaze is with this," Tails says.
"From the footage, it seems that Dr. Nega has been spying on you for some time now. He was probably looking for Blaze since the incident," Kyle says.
"That doesn't sound very good," Cream sadly says.
"Chao Chao," Cheese replies.
"This could be trouble. If he knows Blaze is here, then Blaze could be in danger if he tries to come here," Sonic says.
"And New Mobotropolis and Knothole could be in danger as well," Sally adds.
Blaze then says, "I think it's about time I've settled the score with Dr. Nega."
"That sounds completely crazy, but crazy enough to catch him off guard," Sonic says.
"I don't know. It seems rather dangerous," Sally says.
"I understand the idea sounds risky, but I must take it in order to stop Nega and find the Sol Emeralds. I suspect Nega has them in his possession," Blaze says.
"That is true, but I don't think you should do this alone," Sally says.
Sonic steps forward, "Don't worry Sal, Tails and I will go with her."
"I'll come to. No way I'm letting her do this alone," Amy says.
"I want to go help Ms. Blaze too," Cream happily says.
"Chao Chao," Cheese happily replies.
Blaze is surprised, but smiles to see the support she has from her friends.
Cream asks, "But how are we going to find him? He could be anywhere."
"You're right. He could be anywhere on Mobius," Blaze says.
Then Nicole has an idea, "I believe I have an idea. We can use the Spy Drone to help us track Nega's lair."
"I think that's a good idea. It might also be our best shot to finding him, but you're going to need some help," Kyle says.
"Well then, will you like to help," Nicole replies with a smile.
"Of course, I'll do what I can, and I'm sure Hikari can help too," Kyle says.
"I'll do what I can," Hikari says.
"I can help out too," Rotor says.
"Me too," Tails says.
Blaze smiles and says, "Thank you. I really appreciate your help. I… I wasn't sure if I could do this on my own."
"Glad to be on board, Blaze. And don't worry, we help you take care of the situation and stop whatever Dr. Nega is planning," Sonic says.
Meanwhile, in his secret lair, Dr. Eggman Nega is in his secret lair as he works on some of his machines. He then hears an alarm and walks towards the screen to notice something is off.
"Hmm, something is wrong with one of my drones," Nega says.
He types on the keyboard of his computer to see that one of the screens has the word deactivate and the screen is blurry.
"Something must have happened to one of my drones. What could have happened to it?" Nega says.
Unknown to Nega, at Freedom HQ Sonic, Blaze and the others wait for Tails and the others to have the drone scanned and see if they can hack into it to track down Dr. Nega. They hope they can find his secret lair.
Sally walks to Blaze and asks, "Blaze, can I talk to you?"
"Um okay, course," Blaze says.
Blaze and Sally decide to walk away from the others so they can talk about it in private.
"What is it you want to talk about?" Blaze asks.
"I know I shouldn't be worried, but I want you all to be careful when you and the others go after Nega. I don't know about Nega like you do, but if he's anything like Eggman, he can be dangerous. I guess I'm just worried," Sally says.
"Do not fret Sally, I'll try to be careful. I still need to go find the Sol Emeralds and find my way back to my own world. Without the Sol Emeralds, my home will be in danger," Blaze says.
Sally calmly smiles and says, "I understand. We're going to do whatever we can to find him and help you get home."
Just then, Kyle walks out and says, "Hey guys, you wanna come inside. We found something."
"Did you find out where Nega's lair is?" Sonic asks.
"Yes. It took sometime to hack into the drone's system, but we found out that the transmission of the drone's signal is coming from Mount Mobius," Kyle says.
"Then that s we must go," Blaze says.
Tails says, "We can take the Tornado to Mount Mobius and find Dr. Nega."
"Sounds like a good idea. Now that we know where Dr. Nega is, say let's go," Sonic says.
Soon, Sonic, ails, and the others are preparing their trip. Sonic and Blaze each are on a wing while Amy, Cream, and Cheese are sitting on the passenger sides. Tails of course is sitting on the pilot seat.
"Okay, everyone is ready to go?" Tails asks.
"We're ready, pal," Sonic says.
Tails then starts the engine, "Then it's time to take off."
"Good luck everyone," Sally says.
"We wish you luck," Bunnie says.
"And do you be careful," Antoine says.
"Don't worry, we've kicked his butt before, and we can do it again," Sonic says.
Then turns to Tails, "Our next destination: Mount Mobius."
Tails then begins to take off on the Tornado with Sonic, Blaze, and the others.
Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman Nega is in his secret lair and is finishing up a large machine that is similar to Dr. Eggman's machine called the Egg Dragon.
Nega chuckles with an evil grin and says, "Finally, my new robot is finally finished, and I have the perfect power source."
Eggman Nega looks at his special dragon-like robot and in the chest of it, is the six remaining Sol Emerald that Blaze has lost. The six remaining emeralds glow as they begin to power up the machine, which begins to glow red color eyes and lets out a roar.
