It's Tim and Lucy's first Christmas together as boyfriend and girlfriend.

What if Tim and Lucy had hooked up during their undercover op? What might have happened after and how will that affect their future together from that point forward? (I've written fanfiction before, but never for The Rookie. I'm unsure if I will continue this or not, but I have the next two weeks off and my utter obssession with Tim and Lucy made me concoct this.)

Lucy is assigned to work on a UC task force and is no longer under Tim's command. She can now date him without either of them breaking regs, but there will be other complications.

Tim and Lucy try to start out like normal. Ch 1 adds two extra scenes to 5x9. There will be some coffee and some angst. Definitely romance.

This story begins after Episode 1 Season 5. Lucy, feeling guilty about her feelings for Tim when she's supposed to be with Chris, wants to nurse Chris back to health after Rosalind leaves him bleeding. John wants to use Rosalind's fascination with him to help detectives figure out her new web of dupes. He also wants to be a training officer.

Tim isn't sure how to proceed dating Lucy, so he asks her. Let's see how it goes?
