Toaru Majutsu no Index is owned by Kazuma Kamachi

Highschool DxD is owned by Ichiei Ishibumi

Please be aware, most of my knowledge comes from the anime and wiki for both of these actions. I will try to read the light novels. I just need a finger to point me in the right direction.

Constructive criticism is welcome, hate comments are not. They will either be ignored or rebutted.

To the Comment Acknowledgments

Fortitude501: Your concerns are noted, and I will try to avoid that if at all possible, thank you for your concern.

UA1991: I am sorry. I have been miscommunicating my intentions for this story, and that is completely my fault. I will rectify that. My intentions are to make a story that equally represents both canons, while also adding my own twist to it. Without giving any spoilers, just know that I will be taking your comments into consideration, and I will try my damnest to make a story that respects both franchises. I hate DxD, but that does not mean I will be taking a dump all over it, that is too cruel for me. Also, your explanations convinced me that Issei did deserve each girl in the light novel, sadly the same could not be said for the anime. Just know, I will not half ass something just because I do not like it. THAT is beneath me.

Sieglinde Eremiah: Don't worry I understand what you are saying. Once again this is miscommunication on my part. Most of your worries will be explained in this chapter. As for your second to last comment, I doubt it. Technically, the Imagine Breaker does not have any defensive abilities, Touma simply uses it for defensive and even offensive purposes. Also, thank you for clarifying.

Still Not There: That will be explained this chapter

Chapter 3: Meetings and Explanations

Kamijou Touma can understand it.

Kamijou Touma can understand it!

He, Kamijou Touma, can actually understand the material!

Touma literally cried once he realized that. Sadly, it only made his new classmates stare at him with looks of pity and disgust (including the sensei). Such misfortune.

But so what?! According to Komoe-sensei, if Touma managed to get good grades here in Kuoh, it would transition to extra credit back in Academy City and might even allow him to pass the grade! To the young Kamijou that was a dream come true!

However, that didn't mean the unlucky Kamijou just breezed through class with no problems. In fact, it was the exact opposite. He had a hard time keeping up, because even if he can understand some of the material, that didn't mean he understood all of it.

On top of that, his usual misfortune only made his work that much harder. His pencils keep breaking, every time he tries to erase something, the paper rips, and one time a bird slammed against the window and spooked him into dropping everything onto the ground. However, that did not discourage the unlucky Kamijou at all! His misfortune has done worse, and he still persevered, something so small in comparison meant nothing to him!

This trend continued for every... single… class, but once again, Touma did not let that deter him. In fact, he was so engrossed in his work, he also somehow managed to ignore Tsuchimikado and Aogami trying to talk to him. He also didn't notice a weird bat that seemed to be spying on him, nor did he notice the white-haired girl to his right "subtly" staring at him. However, the fifteen cm goddess residing in his pocket did.

By lunch time, Touma was mentally exhausted. Compared to Academy City, Kuoh Academy was much more fast paced, even if the material was less advanced.

That was why the poor Kamijou was wandering around the school, to try and clear his head for later. He also wanted to avoid his "friends" who were in the cafeteria. He was too tired to deal with their usual antics.

During his wandering, the unlucky Kamijou noticed how most of the students (who were female) were either giving him subtle looks of disgust, or openly glaring at him. Guess rumors about his "introduction" were spreading already. Such Misfortune!

Now normally, if such a thing were to happen, he would've gone straight to the other members of the Delta Force and beat them for their transgressions. However, normally does not usually include a chibi goddess residing in his blazer pocket. Now Touma wasn't afraid of getting physical, but he'd be damned if he let Othinus get hurt just because he was annoyed at his friends.

Speaking of Othinus, she must be napping right now, because the young Kamijou could feel her laying against him through his jacket. It put a soft smile on his face, knowing he had someone like her as a companion, their past be damned. He already forgave her for it anyway. The unlucky Kamijou could only hope that he could help her forgive herself.

Meanwhile, while Touma was busy with his inner monologue, he had wandered his way to the academy's sports grounds. All around you can see ojou-samas hanging around or doing sports. However, a little ways away, one could spot three boys laying on a grassy hill.

The one on the right was wearing his Kuoh uniform properly. He had thick rimmed square glasses that hid his eyes and messy black hair.

The other on the left had his uniform without the bow and his blazer open. His hair was shaved, and his eyes looked closed.

The middle one had also forgone wearing the ribbon, and had his blazer and dress shirt open, revealing his red shirt. He also had brown hair and brown eyes,

These were Motohama, Matsuda, and Issei respectively, or better known as the Perverted Trio. They were currently lamenting over how despite attending Kuoh for an entire year now, none of them have gotten so much as a girlfriend, much less a harem like they all dreamed.

"Why is life so unfair?! I just want to squeeze some oppai, is that too much to ask for?" Issei complained.

"Yeah, why is life so unfair!" Matsuda said.

"Quiet it, both of you, you're making me feel depressed." Motohama chided.

"Motohama, Matsuda, we came to Kuoh to get easy girlfriends and harems, right?" Issei asked, ignoring Motohama's earlier complaint. They nodded. "Well, then why are we stuck here, while the pretty boys get all the girls?!"

At Issei's remark, the Perverted Trio silently cursed the name of Kiba Yuuto, resident pretty boy and most popular guy in Kuoh Academy (and that included the college students too!).

Noticing something out of the corner of his eye, Issei suddenly sits up, attracting confused looks from his fellow perverts. Sitting up themselves, Motohama and Matsuda turn to look at what their friend was looking at (and hoping it was boobs). To their surprise (and disappointment) they looked at the unfamiliar face of Kamijou Touma.

"Hey who's that?" Matsuda asked.

"I don't know. Maybe he's one of the new transfer students. You know, from Academy City." Motohama said.

Academy City, a city with technology thirty years ahead of the world. That had students with superpowers called Espers. Maybe he had an ability that allowed them to see oppai, or maybe even control their sizes! After that thought, the Perverted Trio immediately rushed towards the unlucky Kamijou, in hopes of finding a kindred spirit in their love of oppai.

Touma, who was still spacing out, was caught off guard by Perverted Trio's sudden appearance and if he looked around, would've noticed the looks of disgust by the female student body.

"Hey there, I'm Matsuda" Matsuda greeted, pointing at himself. "These are my friends Issei, and Motohama. We're second-years." Matsuda greeted, pointing towards his friends.

"Uh, hi, I'm Kamijou Touma, a first-year." Touma said hesitantly. He was getting some serious Aogami vibes from these three, though not as bad as the Fetish King himself.

"I guess that makes us your senpai then." Motohama said, adjusting his (large) glasses.

"Anyway, what kind of oppai do you like; big, small, extra-large, extra small?" Issei was rapidly firing his questions to the young Kamijou. So much so, that Touma had little time to question why Issei-senpai sounded similar to Aogami, much less answer his bizarre question. (Un)Luckily, to his (mis)fortune, he was "saved" by the bell, or rather the pervert.

"Kami-yan!" Tsuchimikado yelled at the top of his lungs. The four high school boys all turned to see the Siscon-Sergeant and Fetish King, barreling full speed towards them! Luckily, they managed to stop before they hit anything (or Touma).

The four had to wait a minute for the two Academy City perverts to catch their breath, and only afterwards did they notice the Perverted Trio.

"Hey Kami-yan, who are these guys?" Aogami panted, earning shocked looks from the Perverted Trio, and a few passersby at how similar his voice was to Issei's!

"Um, this is Issei-senpai, Motohama-senpai, and Matsuda-senpai, they're second years." Touma said, gesturing to them.

"Nice to meet you senpai, I'm Tsuchimikado Motoharu and this is Aogami Pierce." Tsuchimikado (having recovered) greeted casually gesturing to his Aogami who simply raised his hand.

Touma's eye couldn't help but twitch at Tsuchimikado's greeting. This was way more normal than the "Delta Force Intro" he and Aogami did earlier and yesterday, what the hell! If it wasn't for the magic god currently residing in his pocket, Touma would've beat the two senseless already.

"Anyway, Kami-yan, we need you to decide something very important." Tsuchimikado said seriously. Touma had a bad feeling about this. "Explain to this idiot how head pats are superior to hand holding!"

Silence. Those within earshot of Tsuchimikado's question were put into a stunned silence. Those two ran all the way from the cafeteria, possibly ran over a few students along the way, just to ask their friend which form of affection was better?! Even the Perverted Trio were silent in varying degrees of shock.

"Go to hell, everyone knows that hand holding is the best!" Aogami, who had just recovered, said. "The feelings of the girl's palm, the sharing warmth between each other, the lingering sensation of their touch. Nothing else can truly compare to such affection, much less your vanilla head pats!"

The Perverted Trio observed Aogami's cry of passion. However, to Tsuchimikado, what Aogami had said was a declaration of war, and one he has no plans on losing.

"You dare call head pats vanilla?!" The Siscon-Sergeant asked incredulously. "Brushing your hand through the girl's silky-smooth hair, gifting her your affection, the reassurance to her that everything is alright! Compared to your dull hand holding, head pats reign supreme!"

"What did you say, you bastard?" Aogami asked. "You dare insult the purest form of affection that is hand holding? Your measly head pats only give affection, hand holding is infinitely better, as both are giving and receiving!"

"Purest?" Tsuchimikado says skeptically. "Nothing is purer than head pats, and you dare call yourself the Fetish King? Affection isn't about taking, it's about giving, and head pats is nothing but, that is what makes it the purest form, as that is what head pats are for!"

War was being declared, and if no one interfered, battle would commence over this fierce debate. (Un)Luckily, someone did.

"Both of you make good points." Touma said. That grabbed the attention of everyone, including the two members of the Delta Force.

"Both of you make good points." He repeated. "Hand holding is about mutual affection; head pats are about giving affection to your partner." All eyes were on him, looking at him expectantly.

"However," Touma continued, "There is another form of affection that is even greater than either of them!" The Delta Force and Perverted Trio looked at each other. Where was he going with this?

"Oh, and what may that be oh all-knowing Kami?" Aogami taunted with a smug face alongside Tsuchimikado.

"Is it not obvious?" Touma questioned.

"Lap Pillows."

Silence once again rang throughout the audience at the unexpected answer. In all honesty they were expecting something… more.

"Lap pillows? How vanilla can you get Kami-yan?!" Tsuchimikado said.

"I will not deny a good lap pillow Kami, but where do you get off saying that lap pillows can even compete with the likes of hand holding or head pats?" Aogami asked.

"Simple!" Touma announced. "Lap pillows have the man give complete control of the situation to the girl, while the girl trusts the man not to abuse his current position. A form of affection built completely on trust between the couple, and one that truly surpasses both hand holding and head pats in both affection and flags!"

With his explanation complete, Touma stepped back to let the audience absorb his noble speech. Tsuchimikado and Aogami seemed to be contemplating what Touma said for once. But, for the Perverted Trio…

"Hey, just imagine how much oppai we could see from a lap pillow. It would be heaven!" Matsuda commented. Wait… what did he just say?

"Yes, the angles we could get is not something we could get from hand holding or head pats. Nice choice Kamijou-san." Motohama added with a thumbs up. That comment grabbed the attention of Touma's friends.

"Oppai are beautiful." Issei said with a pervy look on his face.

"Excuse me senpai." Aogami said with barely restrained anger. "Are you saying that you would enjoy a lap pillow, only because it allows you to look at a woman's boobs?" Honestly, Touma and Tsuchimikado were not far behind their blue-haired comrade.

Issei responded, completely oblivious to the Delta Force's rising anger, "Of course, oppai is the best part of the woman, nothing else can compare!"

For once, someone who wasn't Fukiyose Seiri had silenced the Delta Force, just not in a good way. All the while, the Perverted Trio continued discussing about "oppai" and "multiple angles," completely oblivious to all the glares they were getting. And it only took a few more moments before the dam broke.

"YOU IGNORANT BASTARDS!" The Delta Force said in unison. This made the Perverted Trio, and even a few other students jumped at the Delta's Forces indignant roar.

"You dare claim that the best part of the woman is her breasts?!" Aogami shouted.

"You'd ignore other parts of women that make them beautiful?!" Said the angry Kamijou.

"And on top of that, you dare sully our pure forms of affection just to satisfy your boob fetish! How disgraceful!" Tsuchimikado finished.

The Perverted Trio was in shock. Never had they been berated for liking boobs before. How they went about admiring boobs, for sure, but loving them, never. Still reeling, Issei tried to defuse the situation (badly).

"B-but aren't oppai the best?" Issei stuttered in confusion.

"OF COURSE NOT!" The Delta Force denied aggressively.

"Focusing only on breasts is pure ignorance! Everyone knows it's about the archetype!" Tsuchimikado shouts

"What matters is the archetype! The person! Focusing only on the physical is disrespectful towards the woman!" Touma said simultaneously.

"You dare call yourselves our senpai? I refuse to allow those such shallow beliefs claim such a title! To love only breasts, your world view is far too small, compared to the world of fetishes!" Aogami said, his voice filled with conviction and righteous anger.

"Oppai… transcends your narrow archetypes!" Issei declared. The other members of the Perverted trio nodded in agreement. To insult their love of oppai, to even insult oppai in general, they will not back down!

"Those beautiful pillows of soft and firm texture." Matsuda said.

"The nectar of life that springs forth!" Motohama added.

"The way they jiggle at every movement." Issei said.

"Oppai are the best!" The Perverted Trio said. However, the Delta Force refused to back down.

"To say that with such conviction…" Tsuchimikado started. "Just shows how shallow you are!"

"It's like loving an S&M woman for her bust! There is no love! Just a simple desire!" Aogami added. Somewhere in Kuoh, a black-haired S&M girl sneezed.

"You have no love for women, only parts! You care only for your own happiness and not the happiness of your partner!" Touma said with anger.

"You're wrong! I love women, and I will love many! I'm going to be the Harem King someday and then I'll show you the power of oppai!" Issei declared. The female students looked at him with great disgust. However, before either party could say (or punch) anything, a third party interrupted.

"What is going on here?" A strict voice questioned. It was Shitori Souna, the Student Council President, and her Vice-President, Shinra Tsubaki, and both looked quite displeased.

"You are aware lunch ended ten minutes, ago correct?" Souna continued. However, the Delta Force and the Perverted Trio didn't care.

"Well?" Souna asked expectedly.

"Sorry prez, but this can't be held off!" Aogami said. His friends nodding in agreement, all ready for a fist fight.

"Yes it can, your education-" The Student Council President was cut off, however.

"Sorry prez, but this is just between us guys. This has got nothing to do with you." Tsuchimikado rebutted. Souna simply narrowed her eyes, and Tsubaki glared at them slightly.

"If you do not return to class immediately there will be repercussions." Souna said. However, her threats were ignored, as the two groups began squaring off against each other, fists raised, until another interruption occurred.

"If you do not disperse right this instance, all of you will be expelled immediately. Then you can explain to your parents/guardians why it happened by yourself." Tsubaki warned.

THAT made the Perverted Trio back down. As much as their budding hated towards the Delta Force grew, getting expelled was not something they could easily brush off.

The Delta Force also backed down, but only because the Perverted Trio did so first. It didn't matter if they were threatened with suspension or expulsion, they would never back down when something they believed in was on the line.

"Good, now return to class. You've missed enough of it already." Said Souna, adjusting her glasses. With that, she and Tsubaki left, leaving the two groups alone. Then, said groups went their separate ways, glaring at each other the entire time.

Meanwhile, a weird bat and white-haired girl had left from their respective hiding spots. None of the perverted groups noticed them. The only person who did, was a tiny goddess, hiding away in her human's blazer.

The rest of the day had left a sour taste in the Delta Force's mouth. After their encounter, with who they now know as the Perverted Trio, their earlier excitement from this morning had all but left them.

After school, the Delta Force went their separate ways, Aogami saying he needed to buy some souvenirs, and Tsuchimikado saying he wanted to buy a gift basket for Maika. However, their usual enthusiasm was noticeably diminished. That left the unlucky Kamijou walking back to the dorms, "alone."

"Human." Said Othinus. She had climbed out of his pocket and was now resting on his shoulder. Touma simply hmm'ed in acknowledgement and glanced her way. Instead of responding, she simply leaned up against his head.

Touma got the message. Today was rough, even by his standards and Othinus promised an explanation for her behavior this morning. He knew that as much as he wanted the day to end already, he would have to bear it, if for only a little while longer. And so, the two returned to the dorms in comfortable silence.

Meanwhile, Souna Shitori was briskly making her way towards the old school building, a displeased scowl adorning her usual pretty face.

The source of her displeasure; the Delta Force. It was the first day, and already they were becoming a headache! Rumors of their actions, good and bad, were spreading like wildfire already! She was beginning to wonder if this transfer program was even worth it anymore!

Souna sighed. Now wasn't the time for regrets. Right now she needed some tea and a person to vent to. Luckily, she had her best friend/rival Rias Gremory to supply her both. Entering the old building, the Student Council President made her way to her friend's club room, the Occult Research Club, without hesitation.

Without knocking, Souna simply entered the room. There she found Rias alone, sitting in the middle of one of her couches, with two cups of tea on the chabudai in the middle. Good, Rias expected her, this will make things much easier. Sitting across from her best friend/rival, she grabbed one of the teacups and took a sip. No doubt her best friend's Queen, Akeno prepared them.

"Thank you." Souna said softly.

"My familiar and Koneko informed me of what happened." Rias cut right to the chase. "I do not envy you right now, my dear rival." Souna nodded. She didn't envy herself either. If this continued, she'd eventually have to expel at least one of the groups, and that inevitable situation wasn't favorable in the slightest.

"Did you at least learn anything?" Souna asked, hoping at least something, anything beneficial to come out of that… mess.

Rias shook her head. "Nothing of use." Souna quietly groaned. Was it out of character for her? Yes, but today has been nothing but stressful, so give her a break.

"Maybe we should reconsider approaching Kamijou-san about a possible alliance." Souna suggested. The main reason Souna Shitori, or rather, Sona Sitri agreed to the student exchange program was to make a potential contract with the Kamijou Faction.

They were warned against many times, but merely dismissed them because of the Imagine Breaker he possesses. Sona was determined to have the faction's many connections to help support her goals back in the underworld, while Rias needed to use the faction's prominent influence in hopes of leveraging herself out of her engagement with Riser, and maybe something else later down the line.

The problem was that neither of them knew anything about the person that was Kamijou Touma. Sure, they've heard of his exploits and his Imagine Breaker, but that was it. That was why Sona had her peerage accompany her yesterday, and why Rias had her familiar and Koneko spy on him, in hopes of finding something about him they could use to build a foundation for an eventual alliance with him.

However, the high schooler known as Kamijou Touma was not who they were expecting. The Kamijou Faction, in less than a year, managed to gather more influence and connections in the Human World, than most factions had in decades, even centuries. Rias and Sona were expecting some awe-inspiring figure who radiated charisma and power like Rias' brother, Sirzechs, or the Archangel, Michael. Instead, they met someone who more so resembled a regular high school student, and if it wasn't for the chilling presence of the Imagine Breaker, they would've dismissed him as a decoy or a body double.

"You know that's not an option I have at the moment." Rias said dejectedly, cutting Sona from her thoughts.

The Student Council President frowned, the tension between the Delta Force and Perverted Trio couldn't have been more horribly timed. On one hand, Issei Hyoudou was a human Rias was interested in adding to her peerage, one with a lot of potential according to her. On the other hand, Kamijou Touma was the leader of a well-known and powerful faction that has enough influence to, apparently, get away almost anything (at least, according to Sona's sister, Serafall). Removing either of them would only limit her friend's already few options.

"So then, what do we do?" Sona asked.

Honestly, Sona was beginning to worry about Rias. Time was running out for her, and so far, no guaranteed solution was in sight. Her best options were either a boob loving pervert with no knowledge of the supernatural, or a mysterious faction leader they knew nothing about. Both options were risky, and neither might not bear any fruit at all!

"Maybe I should just ask Issei outright. Given his thought process, I doubt he would refuse if I explain it to him properly." Rias suggested. In other words, put a lot of emphasis on how devils encourage harems. "Other than that, our best course of action would be to adopt a wait and see policy. Ironically enough, the Kamijou Faction's influence in Japan barely reaches beyond Academy City, so his knowledge of us should be limited."

Sona nodded. With how unpredictable things were getting, it would be best to see where things were heading and react accordingly.

"I assume, that means any plans of allying with the Kamijou Faction are on hold for now?" Asked Sona. Rias simply nodded. "And the Delta Force?"

Rias sighed. "According to Koneko, Tsuchimikado-san seems to be able to use magic, religious magic at that."

Sona frowned at that. As much as she hated to admit it, Koneko had the best magic sense out of every Devil in Kuoh, including her and Rias, so the fact she noticed something Sona didn't wasn't all that surprising. Didn't mean she had to like it. It also made her suspicious of the blonde pervert's motives, due to the implications of his magic. Sona wanted to know more, but sensing magic alone, was not enough to determine what kind of magic he used, so she held her tongue.

"As for Aogami-san…" Rias continued. "She says that he might be even more perverted than the Perverted Trio, but he lacks their one-track mind in fulfilling their boob fantasies."

That only made Sona more worried, but for different reasons. More perverted but less impulsive than the Perverted Trio? As the Student Council President, she would have to deal with that. Sona mentally groaned, a mysterious faction leader, a secret magic user, and a hardcore pervert, things were only going to get worse before they got better.

"And the silver-haired nun?" Sona asked hopelessly. Honestly, she wasn't surprised by Rias shaking her head again.

"No. I assume the same goes for you?" She said. Sona could only nod.

"Yes, it seems she's very important to the churches, otherwise, they wouldn't go through such lengths to hide what they know about her. They could ask their respective siblings, but then they'd have to explain why, and that would most likely include how they were ignoring their warnings about making an alliance with the Kamijou Faction.

After that "rousing success", Rias and Sona decided to spend the rest of their time together in comfortable silence, with only the sounds of sipping tea filling the room.

Meanwhile, Touma and Othinus had just returned to Kuoh's dormitory, only taking half an hour to get there. (Un)Luckily the worst of his misfortune was only a few tripping incidents and a potted plant falling on his head, other than that, it was pretty uneventful.

Entering the dorm, the two found Index in front of the TV watching some twin-tailed magic girl show. Turning to the sound of the door, Index perked at the sight of the unlucky Kamijou, only to turn worried, seeing her friend's exhausted look.

Noticing her worry, Touma forced a smile and said, "Don't worry Index, I just had a more misfortunate day than usual, I'll be fine."

Index simply nodded, but she didn't look convinced. Turning off the TV, Index had moved to the chabudai, and sat down.

Understanding Index's intent, Touma walked over, and sat down next to her. Afterwards, Othinus jumped down from his shoulder and turned to face them.

The two looked at the Magic God expectedly. The one-eyed goddess sighed.

"Okay, as you know, there exists a magic side, and a science side correct?" Touma and Index nodded.

"Well, the magic side has more than just magicians and angels. In fact, almost every deity, magical creature, and magic item from every pantheon exists one way or another." Index simply nodded, knowing most of this from her grimoires. Touma however, froze at this illusion shattering information. Though, in hindsight, it made sense. Magic Gods represented the legends of certain religions, it made sense that if Angels and religious items could exist, why not others magic creatures, and other legendary tools. But wait, what did this have to do with-?

Touma's eyes widened in realization. He then looked at Othinus who was simply waiting on him to refocus.

"I found that Kuoh Academy has some devils attending as students." Said Othinus, answering Touma's unasked question. Index looked at Touma worriedly. Devils were tricky creatures, no matter how you looked at them, who knows what they might try. Touma however, was more concerned about something else.

"Who-"

"The Student Council, the white-haired girl sitting across from you, and at least one other that was spying on you throughout the day." Othinus interrupted.

Ten… ten devils in two days. This... this went beyond simple misfortune. No, now was not the time to dwell on his (non-existent) luck, he needed to focus on more important matters!

"W-well, what do they want with Touma?" Index asked. The devils pretty much had a school's worth of hostages to choose from. If they wanted to kill him-. Index halted that train of thought out of pure fear. She was aware of the three biblical factions, but because only magicians and the churches seemed to be interested in Touma, she didn't want to worry him over something that may never happen. Look what that got her.

"Most likely, it has something to do with the Kamijou Faction." Othinus guessed.

Touma's eyes narrowed. Etzali was sent to kill him for that exact same reason, but the Kamijou Faction doesn't exist, so why-?

"But there is no…" Touma started, but Othinus cut him off.

"Oh, I know it doesn't exist human. You do as well. However, they don't." Said Othinus. "They believe the Kamijou Faction exists, and with good reason. Did you really think that everyone would treat your achievements as nothing special and move on?"

Touma knew Othinus was being rhetorical. He knew that some of the stuff he did in pursuit of others smiles was going to grab a lot of attention. He just thought the magicians would try and hide his actions or at least downplay them out of pride or something.

"On top of that, even if we ignore all of that, do you really think anyone would believe that a regular high schooler somehow managed to get into the good graces of the English Royal Family, the President of the United States, several prominent magic cabals and one of the three most influential churches in the world?!" Othinus said with a skeptic look. Even Index was giving him one after that rant.

"No." Touma admitted with a sigh. From that point of view, Touma's self-image did sound a bit ridiculous (not that it changed anything). However, something was still bothering him.

"So, that's why you decided to come to school with me today? Because you were worried-"

"I was worried they'd try to manipulate you without you even knowing it." Othinus admitted. That brought a warm smile to his face. However, he still had more questions to ask

"Othinus, you said these factions consider me such a big deal. If so, then why-?"

"Why have you not made any contact with them until recently?" Othinus guessed. The young Kamijou nodded.

"Well, it's mostly because no one really noticed you until World War III, and even then, what they saw made them too "scared" to approach you." Said the former Magic God.

"Wait, the other factions are scared of Touma?" Asked Index.

"Not exactly." Othinus responded. "While the supernatural factions are afraid of the human himself for obvious reasons, they're more afraid of him picking a side." She clarified.

"Picking a side? What does that mean?" Touma asked.

"Currently, there are three factions associated with the bible." Said Othinus. "These are the ones you'll be having the most encounters with, so they're a bigger priority than others. They are Angels of Heaven, the Fallen Angels of the Grigori, and the Devils of the Underworld." Touma nodded in understanding. Sure, he wanted to know more, but he'll trust Othinus' judgement.

"And you, human," Othinus said pointing at Touma for emphasis. "Despite your obvious connections to the church, and in turn, the Angels, are a neutral faction, and a powerful one at that. Because of that, many factions want you as an ally, but are too afraid of pushing you away, or worse, into the hands of another faction." That made some sense to the unlucky Kamijou, but one thing still bothered him.

"Othinus… why are they afraid of me?"

"Simple, they do not know who "Kamijou Touma" is." Othinus explained.

While Index looked confused at Othinus' explanation, Touma understood exactly what she meant. No one knew who Kamijou Touma was. They knew he existed, they know what he's done, but they don't know who he is. That is why they were afraid. They didn't know what he wanted, what he could do, or what he was capable of. They feared that if they offended him, Kamijou Touma would become their enemy, something they wanted to avoid at all costs.

"I… have one more question." Touma said hesitantly.

"Is this about how your Imagine Breaker will react to the devils?" Othinus guessed. The realized look of horror on Touma's face was all she needed.

"It depends." Attention was now on Index.

"With devils, most of them took the form of humans and are fueled by human desire to a degree, so unless you're up against one of the original devils like Lucifer or Leviathan, simply, touching them won't erase them. The same can be said for the fallen, as they are Angels who embrace the flaws of man, and thus, becomes more connected to the world." Explained Index.

That brought some relief to the young Kamijou. He at least had some time to make sure he wouldn't accidentally erase them.

"However," And… the relief was gone. "Angels are another story. They are direct creations of God, and thus can be considered God's Miracles. In other words, even tapping an angel can erase them, and long-term exposure can have the same effect for Devils and Fallen, so please be careful when handling them Touma."

"So human, what was your last question?" Othinus asked.

Touma wanted to ask about Gabriel but decided against it. He had a long day and still had homework to do. Besides, if his misfortune would allow it, he might meet Gabriel again and ask her then.

"Oh, right. Uh, I wanted to ask why the devils trying to ally themselves with me is such a bad thing." From the way Othinus was talking, allying with the devils could lead to war.

"Because it could lead to war." Was Othinus' response. Oh.

"How?" Was all he could ask.

"A couple hundred years ago, the three biblical factions were at war." Began Othinus. "The war ended in a ceasefire, after all sides obtained crippling losses that still affect them to this day." Touma was horrified by this but continued listening.

"That is why allying with any of the factions would be a bad idea. Especially one of the Biblical Factions, everyone wants you as an ally, no one wants you as an enemy. The other two could see this alliance as the underworld trying to build its forces, and thus will most likely team up in preparation. It could reignite the Great War and lead to the mutual destruction of all three factions." Othinus finished.

Touma knew Othinus was hiding something. What it was or why, he wasn't sure, but that didn't matter to him. All that mattered was preserving the smiles of all those happily living their lives without worry, even if he doesn't know him, even if it meant beating some sense into those devils.

However, a new thought entered his mind, one he considered slapping himself for not asking earlier.

"What about you and Index, wouldn't having me around only put you in danger?" He asked worriedly. A "harmless" nun with the knowledge of 103,000 grimoires and older than her own religion! Who wouldn't be tempted by such prey, especially in their own home (not Touma at least)! And he was not about to risk either of them in his troubles, even if it meant sending them away, or returning to Academy City.

"I was wondering when you'd ask that." Admitted Othinus. Honestly, you have very little to worry about. Most people assume I'm dead, even amongst the supernatural, and going after the nun could lead to a political incident with Heaven, which they want to avoid. Even then, as I said earlier, most factions, including these devils, want you as an ally, so I doubt they would risk it and even try to confront us unless absolutely necessary. We'll be fine human." Othinus said that last part softly.

That brought relief to the young Kamijou. At least he didn't have to worry about the two at all times.

"So, did you have any more questions human, or was that all?" Asked Othinus. However, before Touma could respond, Sphynx decided to interfere and carry the fifteen cm Goddess off in his mouth, her screaming profanities at the feline all the while.

Ignoring Othinus' "plight," Touma turned to Index, who had a shameful and guilty look on her face, and the look of concern only intensified it.

"Index, are you okay-."

"I'm sorry!" Said the silver-haired nun abruptly. That earned a look of confusion from the unlucky Kamijou.

"I knew about the supernatural factions, but I didn't tell you, so I'm sorry!" She admitted, staring at the ground. Oh, so that is what this is about.

Now Index was on the verge of tears. "They never bothered us, so I didn't see any reason to tell you, but now they are and-" She didn't get to finish her excuse, as Touma had gently laid his hand on her head and slowly rubbed it, a soft smile adorned his face.

He then said, "It's okay, I forgive you." The little nun looked up at him with her cute face filled with tears.

"But… Touma-" Index tried to say, but the young Kamijou wouldn't let her.

"You tried to keep this a secret to protect me and my normal life, right?" He asked. Index timidly nodded. "Then I have nothing to be mad about. You wanted to preserve the happiness and smiles of the life we lived, and you thought telling me this would only take that away. So, I forgive you."

It was too much for the little nun. "Touma!" Was all Index could say before crying into his shirt, Touma doing nothing but silently comforting her.

After a few minutes of Index crying, Touma spoke up. "Hey, it's almost dinnertime, why don't I cook us something up, how does that sound?" He offered softly. Index looked up at him, wiped away her tears and nodded, a smile on her face. He smiled back.

Getting up, the two made their way to the kitchen for the young Kamijou to demonstrate his cooking skills to the gluttonous nun.

Index simply stared at him. This is who Kamijou Touma is, no matter how heinous the crime, he will forgive you without hesitation, and Index wouldn't have it any other way. After all, Touma will be Touma.

Chapter End

Here it is, chapter three! This one was pretty much exposition in nature, but I hope it came out good. I'll be honest, Delta force meets Perverted Trio, WAAAAY more rage inducing than I expected, and not because of how difficult it was to write. Hopefully, I explained everything that needed to be explained. Also, I better not get any flak comparing Kuoh to A Certain Highschool. Remember, Academy City has students have to be able to make calculations fast enough to be compared to MUSCLE MEMORY so most of the curriculum is going to be difficult, even in the "easier" schools, especially compared to Kuoh.

BTW, I will NOT be replicating scenes word for word, I will be twisting them to fit my story. So, if you remember a certain scene going differently, that is because it was intentional.

Anyway, I'd like to announce that I have officially made a forum where you can vote on the power scaling for the Angels. I'll be pretty much using whatever you choose as the catalyst to measure the power of the other two factions at least. Also, I am extending the due date to chapter 5, because I am new to , and I did not know how to post that poll (I do now, so no comments about it please). Also, I will be IGNORING any vote in the comments section, I don't want the most logical idea, I want the most popular.

Now, onto the questions/complaints!

Issei Bashing:

Issei bashing will be done in moderation. The purpose of this story is to have the Delta Force at Kuoh and make the politics behind the Kamijou Faction more prominent. Issei bashing will merely be a symptom of that, and a minor one.

Harem Candidates:

Every option except for two, maybe three, I have already chosen. NO SPOILERS! I might put it to a vote after the Angel poll if I'm not convinced of a choice by then. Also, I am not telling you who, I want people's opinions to be as free forming as possible. It may give me ideas in the future.

Index:

No, she will be staying with Touma. I have said so that is why. Also, I will not solely DxD plot lines, I will be trying to include my own Toaru plot lines, canon or not.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, it is why this story exists!
