~Four Days Later~
With only one day left before the Chunin Selection Exams were to begin Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura finally sat down to talk over their decision regarding the exam "I think we should at least try" Naruto said.
Eyeing his teammates and watching their expressions closely "Naruto's right, even if we fail, we can take it as a learning experience and try again six months down the road during the next one" Sakura shrugged.
Leaving Sasuke who looked between the two of them for a moment "We're participating then" Sasuke asked, and his teammates nodded "Right we should prepare by studying up on ways to pass information to one another discretely" the Uchiha announced.
"Huh why…don't tell me the first exam is a written one, ugh this is a bloody nightmare cause I suck at taking written exams" the blonde Uzumaki groaned, resisting the urge to bash his skull on the table repeatedly.
And Sakura had the nerve to giggle at him "Fear not Naruto-otouto, the whole point of the first exam is being able to gather information under pressure without getting caught" the pinkette declared, plotting already given the twinkle in her eerie green eyes.
Naruto huffed but said no more on the subject "Uh we need to get back over to the apartment right away, one of my henged clones just dispelled informing me that someone intends on visiting us" Naruto informed.
Making the three of them scramble for the seal in the foyer "There, summoning jutsu" Sakura flashed through the hand signs, summoning them back to their apartment in the nick of time as someone knocked on the door.
Followed by the sound of someone getting shocked from the seal still on the door as they tried stupidly to open the door themselves "Oooh that sounded like it hurt quite a bit" Sasuke winced unsympathetically.
Sakura snickered but went to answer the door for their guest "Yes, can we help you Sir" Sakura smiled innocently up at the foreign ninja stood outside the apartment, looking quite the sight from the shock he'd experienced.
"Quite, am I correct in assuming that your Sakura or are there other pink haired girls in the village that I do not know about, I'm Baki and you had a confrontation with my students a few days ago" the Suna Jonin asked, introducing himself as well.
The girl stared up at him "Do you mean the guy who tried to beat up on Lord Hokage's grandson, he's one of your students and the redheaded guy to" Sasuke questioned, Baki nodded in answer, prompting him to begin scowling.
Baki was surprised at the reaction "Sorry about him, Teme's always had a bad attitude, that brown haired dude really pissed him off is all" Naruto apologized, playing Sasuke's reaction off by making it out to be the normal reaction.
It didn't sound very convincing even to his own ears so Sakura drew Baki's attention back onto herself "Anyway, if you came to apologize don't, we'd rather just forget the whole thing even happened to be honest" Sakura admitted.
"Really now…but no that's not why I sought you out, you see Gaara, he's very curious about you, so I offered to come ask you, Sakura-san are you from some sort of clan" Baki inquired, getting to the point of his little visit.
Almost instantly Sakura had her guard up, he could tell since her expression became closed off "No Baki-san I'm not from any clan, but I do practice a certain religion and that's all the information I can tell you since the rest is forbidden" the rosette explained.
Keeping their eyes locked as she spoke "If that's all, we have things to do" the Uchiha that Orochimaru was after glared followed by shutting the door in Baki's face and rounding angrily on Sakura, before he could utter a single word the anger drained out of him.
Unable to be upset with her apparently "Haha his face, but was it such a good idea to tell him that Sakura-chan" Naruto laughed, before frowning at Sakura as they locked the door, sealing it back up as well as they headed for the seal in the protected room.
To get back to their house "Just the little bit I gave him, Baki-san would probably spend his entire life researching different religions, and he'd probably never find anything about Jashinism unless he met another Jashinist and the chances of that are in the single digits" Sakura shrugged.
Not worried obviously why would she be when there was only one other Jashinist that had the power of immortality like she did "You mean there's another immortal out there like you Sakura" Sasuke questioned.
Catching on "Mhm, his name is Hidan according to Jashin-sama, though the probability of us meeting is also extremely low since he's an S Class Rogue….yeah and crazy, he also takes our gods name in vain a lot" Sakura huffed.
Sasuke and Naruto shared a look over her head "Sakura-chan have you tested your immortality any, I know there are times when we're not with you, but I'm just curious, it would be really good to know what you can do at this moment in time" Naruto asked.
Sakura quirked a brow at him "Are you asking me to die…..that's basically what the religion entails, when I get into sacrificing I literally die along with the target and come back to life each time" Sakura grimaced.
Naruto and Sasuke violently flinched but that still wasn't enough to deter them apparently "We've already told you that we were going to support you Sakura that means encouraging you to practice your religion and helping you test your limits" Sasuke cringed.
Doing his best not to shy away from the idea of her dying again "Jashin-sama says I can practice on animals, I just need someone to hold it so it doesn't escape, a boar sounds like the perfect animal to test my ritual on" Sakura suggested.
Hoping this didn't backfire on them and cause ir-repairable harm as they headed out and found the large creature necessary "Okay this guys not going anywhere so you can start Sakura-chan" Naruto called once the boar was tied up and unable to move.
With a long suffering sigh Sakura grabbed the retractable spear that she kept on hand at all times then promptly stabbed herself, until enough blood pooled on the ground to create the upside down triangle "Did you have to do that" Sasuke groaned.
Face white as he struggled to reign in his feelings "Unfortunately, by the way you owe some new clothes and a trench coat, cause blood is hard to get out of these clothes" Sakura scowled, stalking over to the boar.
And with the retractable spear made a little scratch "Eww, you didn't tell us that you'd have to ingest its blood" Naruto gagged when Sakura licked the end of her weapon, swallowing the small amount of blood that was on the end of it.
"Just to remind you, this was your idea Naruto, Sasuke, and it's all part of the ritual" Sakura snorted, steeling herself for what was about to happen as she marched towards the symbol on the ground.
Before Naruto and Sasuke's very eyes the moment she stood in the center of the circle with the upside down triangle her skin changed colors to pitch black and white markings appeared on her face, making her eyes stand out even more while her hair turned snow white.
The only reason they both knew it was still their teammate was her voice when she spoke indicating that was the only thing that hadn't changed about her "Oh Mighty Lord Jashin, by whom all things are set free, I cast myself utterly into thine arms" Sakura chanted.
Slashing her wrists as she did so, cuts appearing on her sacrifice just in different places, the boar squealed at the sudden pain it was experiencing and started squirming, Sasuke and Naruto simply watching in equal amounts of horror and awe.
As she stabbed her side next followed by "And place myself unreservedly under thy all powerful protection, visit justice and vengeance upon those who seek my destruction" the pinkette continued her chant.
Digging her spear deep into her body, mind growing fuzzy like her head was full of cotton, another spear appeared in her hand which she slammed into her leg "Render them powerless and devastated" Sakura moaned softly.
Overwhelmed by what she was feeling "Fill my soul with thy invincible power, strengthen me, so that I may persevere in your service, oh mighty Lord Jashin" she finished, placing the tip of her weapon against her chest where her heart lay.
Hesitating somewhat "Go on Sakura-chan, complete your ritual, me and Sasuke will be okay, we'll be here when you wake up to" Naruto assured knowing why she was stalling, Sakura took a deep breath.
Nodding to him and Sasuke before gripping the retractable spear in both hands and thrusting it all the way to the hilt into her heart, the boar stilled almost immediately as Sakura collapsed onto the ground just as still.
Sasuke and Naruto held their breath as they waited patiently for Sakura to return to them, which happened five minutes later, Sakura woke up with a soft groan escaping her mouth "Welcome back…here let me help with that" Sasuke greeted.
Kneeling at her side and carefully removing the spear embedded in her heart, silently freaked out when the injury healed leaving unmarred skin behind "Freaky I know, I'm still getting use to it myself" Sakura smiled.
Realizing what he was staring at so intensely "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to stare at your…..never mind shutting up now" Sasuke began, face flushing in embarrassment to her amusement as he helped her onto her feet.
"Alright…let me be the first to just say that was both creepy and cool all at the same time" Naruto chimed in as evidence of the ritual was washed away by a water jutsu from Sakura and the boar was sealed away in a scroll.
Fuscia brows shot upwards "Naruto, Sasuke thank you so much" Sakura sniffled softly, relieved at their acceptance of her little quirk, even witnessing her die during the ritual they still accepted her which was cathartic really.
The two boys wigged out a little at her sudden crying "Come on, lets get back to the house so you can wash up and change, then we'll take you out to pay for a new set of what your currently wearing" Sasuke suggested.
Winding an arm around her waist to direct them back home where she disappeared on them to shower and change "That ritual sure was something wasn't it Sasuke" Naruto commented as they waited in the living room.
Sasuke nodded silently, no doubt replaying what they'd witnessed in his mind over and over again analyzing it probably, until his thoughts were interrupted by Sakura returning fifteen minutes later, ruined clothes in hand.
So before they left, the bloody clothes were burned to further get rid of evidence and then the three of them headed to the market "Why'd you bring your wallet Sakura-chan, you know that we're paying for a replacement outfit right" Naruto asked.
Upon entering the clothing store and realized Sakura had her wallet "Duh….but for any additional outfits I want to get I have to pay for them myself" Sakura rolled her eyes with a snort, a flush rose onto his face at that.
Laughing sheepishly "You two….I don't know how I haven't gone insane yet really" Sasuke shook his head a bark of laughter falling from his lips, Sakura snickered at him while Naruto simply grinned.
Taking the mickey out of one another essentially, as promised though Naruto and Sasuke paid for a replacement outfit and trench coat in the same exact colors as the last ones before they went around even longer while Sakura picked out even more clothes to buy for herself.
Exiting the shop was a different matter though "Sasuke-kun what the hell I thought hell would freeze over before you touched that billboard brow" Ino spotted them, Sasuke's arm around Sakura's waist like he'd gotten into the habit of doing since that disastrous mission.
"Careful Yamanaka, wouldn't want your Dad to know your still behaving atrociously would you" fortunately for them Anko had also seen the trio and came over to prevent any injuries that the insipid blonde would try to land on Sakura.
Ino ground her teeth furiously "By the way Ino, what I do with my teammate is none of your business, I also think it's about time you quit chasing after me like a fool, I'm not interested, nor will I ever be so you know what get over your crush already" Sasuke snapped.
At his cruelest that day, Ino gasped clearly not having expected him to talk to her, especially not like that, then her pupil-less blue eyes filled with tears "This is all your fault forehead, if you didn't exist I would have a chance with Sasuke-kun" Ino spat angrily.
The angriest she'd ever been "In fact I wish you didn't exist so just go and die already you stupid freak" the blonde heiress yelled thrusting out her hand intent on harming Sakura, her hit would never connect though.
As Anko appeared behind her grabbing her arm and twisting it behind her back "Yamanaka that's enough, I don't know what your deal is but blaming Pinky for every little thing that happens to you, is pretty stupid" Anko frowned.
"My deal, you want to know what my deal is, everything's ruined because of her, I should be on Sasuke-kun's team not her, because of her I'm not allowed to go and hang out with my friends anymore, because of her I'm not the best rookie kunoichi of my class" Ino cried.
Struggling to get free "D…Do you even hear yourself Ino your behaving like a child that's had their favorite toy taken away from them" Sakura spluttered, utterly disgusted at her fellow kunoichi if the disgust on her face was any indication anyway.
"Yeah well who's fault do you think it is that I'm behaving this way, yours….I hate you, loathe you and I wish you would just leave Konohagakure, actually I want you to drop dead really" Ino hissed still trying to escape from Anko's painful grip.
Sakura sneered in response "Old Man Hokage was the one who decided on the teams….if I'm not wrong your team was made based on the old Ino-Shika-Cho tradition, also the teachers decided on that so your blaming the wrong people" Naruto chimed in.
Curling an arm around Sakura's shoulders "There's no point in arguing with her Naruto because there's no getting through to her, thanks for the help Anko-sensei but I think we're going to go home now" Sakura shook her head.
Not sparing Ino another look "Right and I'll make sure she gets home so she doesn't follow you three back to your shared apartment" Anko assured, smirking spitefully at the aghast look on Ino's face upon hearing that Team Seven lived together.
Once out of sight Sasuke and Naruto released their hold on Sakura "Seriously Ino's such a bitch, blaming you for stuff that's completely out of your hands" Naruto ranted, worked up unnecessarily because of Ino Yamanaka.
"You know I don't remember her being quite as bad as what we just witnessed" Sasuke mused suddenly, recalling how Ino had been prior to the mission to the Land of Waves, Ino had never wished Sakura dead before that point.
So he had to wonder if something had changed "Maybe she feels threatened because of my second chakra, my lord said that people will either react positively or negatively towards it if they can sense it, Ino must be able to on a small degree" Sakura explained.
Despite Sasuke's dawning realization "Has he taught you how to suppress it yet, then perhaps you should start doing that, especially around other people who might react negatively, we're going to be in a room full of people tomorrow and we don't need you being targeted" Sasuke asked/suggested.
For a moment they stopped and Sakura concentrated on suppressing her secondary chakra that which connected her to Jashin, the reaction was immediate "I didn't realize how different that extra chakra made you Sakura-chan" Naruto blinked.
Seeing her as he use to as her other-worldliness was hidden away "Just be lucky I love you guys because now I can't hear his voice" Sakura harrumphed, pouting somewhat and feeling like she'd lost an integral part of herself again.
"Bare with it for a couple of days okay Sakura that's all we're asking for" Sasuke soothed, hating that he had to ask her to hide a part of who she was all because people liked to react negatively towards her for it.
Sakura shot him a waning smile looking utterly lost at the moment "Lets have a camp out tonight, cook that boar we caught earlier and just have fun" Naruto suggested, wanting to cheer Sakura up but only getting a fond glance.
"I guess it's okay when we're at home to keep your second chakra un-suppressed, out here however is an entirely different matter" Sasuke offered, coming up with a solution to their problem that way Sakura wasn't depressed all the time.
Almost instantly Sakura perked up, "Thanks Sasuke, that's so much better than having it suppressed all the time, I can handle it if it's that way" Sakura smiled, hugging him and releasing him quickly.
With that they hurried home in record time to set up for their camp out by the lake, first they built a huge fire, then made a rotating roasting spit after skewering the huge boar onto it to slow cook over their fire, rotated every so often by two Sakura clones.
While they changed into swimsuits and had fun in the lake, swimming around, starting splashing wars until the boar was cooked to perfection "Mm this is really good" Naruto moaned as the meat practically melted in his mouth.
Soft and flavorful "Have to agree with Naruto, this is the best boar meat I've ever tasted" Sasuke nodded, chewing gratefully on the piece he'd chosen, basking in the last rays of sunlight of the day as the sun sunk lower on the horizon bathing them in an orange glow.
Hours later when all of the boar meat had been sufficiently devoured by hungry teenagers Team Seven lay on their backs in their sleeping bags staring up at the stars that were starting to appear in the twilit sky.
"Tomorrow you guys, tomorrow we all do our best to pass these exams alright, no matter what happens, we're in it to win it" Sakura flipped over facing her teammates, fighting off sleep, Naruto and Sasuke turned over to meet her gaze and nodded their assent before all of them drifted off.
Never aware that their sensei was watching over them from his perch in a tree the whole entire night and when the sun rose the following morning Kakashi watched as they cleaned up after themselves and headed into their house to ready themselves for the important day ahead of them.
An hour later after showering and dressing in proper attire Sakura chanted a quick prayer "Jashin-sama watch over us and protect us on this day as we start on the path leading to our dreams and may we be victorious in the end" the pinkette murmured.
Reluctantly suppressing her secondary chakra once she was finished praying "That was nice of you Sakura-chan to ask him to watch over and protect us" the blonde knucklehead smiled, glad that she was on their side and not on the side of the enemy.
"Must you bring that though" the raven pointed to the scythe hooked into its harness on her back, the scary weapon wasn't the only thing on her person however as he noted Chishi wound around her shoulders no longer able to fit around Sakura's neck since he'd grown bigger.
Earning a snort "Of course, having this with me lets me feel closer to Jashin-sama since I'm unable to hear his voice currently" Sakura admitted, giggling a little as Chishi decided to tickle her with his tongue by licking her in the crease of her elbow.
Giving Naruto an idea "Think we should bring Shisha and Kansen as well Sakura-chan" Naruto asked, eyeing the clock and finding they had just enough time to fetch the two green mambas in question.
To his disappointment Sakura shook her head "It would be suspicious if all three of us brought snakes to the written round knucklehead, we can bring them with us for the second round however whatever it might be" Sasuke wrapped Naruto on the head with his knuckles.
As they summoned themselves to the apartment and finally started making their way to the academy where the first round was being hosted, upon entering the building something niggled at their senses "Genjutsu" Naruto whispered to his teammates.
Having grown use to detecting subtle chakra "Question is, is do we pretend we know nothing or oust the illusion" Sasuke questioned as they reached the top of the stairs and figured out what the genjutsu was for.
"Pretend we know nothing….because if we oust the genjutsu, we'll have that many more opponents to deal with during the next round" Sakura decided, casting a cloaking jutsu over the three of them and grabbing their wrists to slip through the crowd undetected.
That way they could reach the real second floor and turn in their registration forms, to their pleasant surprise Kakashi met them at the end of the hall that led into the exam room "I should have known that genjutsu wouldn't fool any of you" Kakashi chuckled upon seeing them.
Ruffling their hair affectionately "On that note, I'm proud of how far you three have come in the six months that I've been your sensei, so I feel no regret in sending you three through these doors because I know you'll dominate the Chunin Exams" the Copy Ninja declared.
Launching into his prepared speech "Because you had faith in us Kakashi-sensei, but thank you, we have no intention of letting you down" the rosette grinned widely at him, not a normal girl in the least as she faced the doors.
"Yeah what Sakura-chan said Kakashi-sensei, we're going to totally own the Chunin Selection Exams" his blonde student announced, boasting to Kakashi's amusement and for once he didn't rebuke the boy for acting cocky.
With all their acquired skills the Chunin Exams would be a breeze for his students "With that we should probably get in there, find a place to sit and wait for the first round to begin" the raven reminded so with a wave to their sensei.
Who opened the door for them Team Seven entered the room, the minute the door shut behind the trio every person already in the room focused their attention on the rookie genin, Sakura gently bumped her shoulder into Sasuke's.
Gesturing with her eyes to an empty corner, so they started in that direction Naruto on their heels until they were stood in the corner and since they hadn't made a spectacle of themselves the other genin went back to what they had been doing previously to Team Seven's relief.
Except for one, Gaara, who frowned in confusion when Mother didn't react at the sight of her, nor did he sense that malevolent chakra of before, nor could he smell the scent of death upon the girl any longer.
"Are you alright Gaara….oh it's her, try not to let the girl bother you okay" Temari asked, sensing her psychopathic little brothers distraction so she looked in the direction he was glaring and saw the pinkette from a week ago.
It was Kankuro that noticed what the girl had curled about her shoulders "Fuck is that a black mamba that brat has balls of steels" Kankuro cursed, recognizing the snake as she lifted a hand to stroke it idly while chatting with her teammates quietly.
Temari glanced the girl over again and realized her brother was right "Mother didn't react to her presence…she's different, no longer carries the scent of death and the chakra I sensed is gone" Gaara rumbled.
Before they could delve to deep into their thoughts trying to solve the mystery of what the girl was the door opened again to admit another team into the room and the Sand Siblings watched as the new team headed straight for the other rookie genin participating in the exam.
Making a loud racket as they went and irritating many of the older genin "What the hell is that on your back Sakura" one of them shouted, the one with a puppy perched on his head which made him look ridiculous really.
Sakura rolled her eyes in response "A scythe Kiba now quiet down, your being to noisy which I doubt anyone in here appreciates" Sakura intoned disinterestedly while imparting a small warning to the Inuzuka heir.
Kiba spluttered, gaping unattractively but thankfully he did settle down "Ar..Are tho..those piercings N..Naruto-kun" Hinata stuttered noticing the dark orange earrings in the most peculiar design she'd ever seen.
"I'd be more concerned about the black mamba, why you ask, because it is an extremely venomous snake" Shino commented, keeping well away from the serpent in question though Chishi remained unaffected by the new additions to the group.
In fact he barely even moved, possibly sleeping since he had his eyes closed "As for your question yes, I had my ears done as sort of a team thing when Sakura-chan suggested it" Naruto said, toning down his voice so he didn't bother anyone.
Hinata moved her gaze to Sasuke who turned his head slightly allowing her to see the dark blue earring with the same design in his right ear "Kakashi has his left ear done if your wondering" Sasuke admitted.
"Looks like only Sakura is wearing a necklace and ring though, what the heck is up with that anyway you turning into some kind of religious person on us or something" Kiba noted, wondering what the hell was up with Team Seven, all three of them were being bloody weird.
This earned him a sigh "Something to that effect Kiba but I can tell you no more my religion forbids me from telling anyone about it" Sakura announced smirking inwardly when Kiba scowled at her, clearly pissed that she wouldn't give him anymore information about the subject.
Naruto shifted his attention between the duo then shrugged "There's no need to worry by the way, about Chishi I mean, he's perfectly well behaved and doesn't strike people unless he's ordered to or if he feels threatened" Naruto assured Shino.
Shino nodded his thanks "Would you mind if I collected a vial of his venom, why to experiment and immunize my kikaichu to black mamba poison" Shino requested, wanting to be extra careful where the snake was concerned.
Sakura smiled kindly at him then stroked Chishi, who opened his mouth "Better hurry or else Chishi will drip venom everywhere" Sasuke warned, Shino quickly produced an empty vial from his pouch and put it up to a fang and it immediately filled with clear venom.
"J..Just wh..where did you get h..him anyway S..Sakura" Hinata asked, watching as the black mamba closed his mouth once the vial was taken away then snuggle his head under Sakura's chin resuming his former position.
Before Sakura could answer, the remaining team that they'd graduated with burst their way into the exam room very nearly late and make a beeline for them in the corner, "Sakura what happened to your long hair" Ino demanded to know.
"Oh now you talk to me like I'm a normal human being, if you'd been paying attention and not acting like you have been recently you would already know I cut it months ago" Sakura scoffed, not to happy with the blonde.
Ino ducked her head wincing "For the record I am sorry, I don't know why but every time up until now I've just been so irrationally angry at you for some reason that I can't explain" Ino apologized at long last.
Confused as to why the irrational anger hadn't taken hold of her again at the sight of Sakura "Maybe the therapy sessions your dad has been making you take are finally paying off" Choji offered as an explanation.
Shikamaru nodding his head in agreement "Anyway I'm glad that your acting normal again Ino, it's been a real drag these past couple of months" Shikamaru groaned because thanks to Ino, he and Choji had been suffering right along side of her.
"By the way you two are standing awfully close, your not dating are you" Choji commented, seeing how close Naruto and Sakura were standing to one another but they both shook their heads to his disappointment.
"Teammates can't date each other, no, they found out that they were adoptive siblings to one another a few months ago, apparently Naruto's parents whoever they were took Sakura in one month before he was born then died soon after he was born" Sasuke explained.
Naruto and Sakura got wide eyed stares in response "It's true, Kakashi-sensei told us and he hasn't lied to us yet" Naruto grinned, hugging Sakura carefully because he didn't want to disturb Chishi who hadn't bit any of them yet.
Yet was the keyword really, right as Shikamaru was about to ask about Chishi probably they were approached by a fellow Leaf Genin who was way older than them "Would you quiet down, your drawing to much attention onto yourselves" the silver haired teen announced.
Doing exactly that, pissing Sakura off "Thanks a lot you asshole if you hadn't come over here no one would be paying us any attention" Sakura sneered, glaring at him and furious over the unnecessary attention on them now.
Kiba opened his mouth then shut it eyes wide at her sudden slew of foul language and even fouler expressions "Someones been taking facial expression lessons from Sasuke I see" Shikamaru snorted equally as surprised.
The teenager frowned "I meant no offense really I just think that you could use some pointers since it's so obviously your first time taking part in one of these exams, my names Kabuto and this is my third time taking the Chunin Exams" Kabuto smiled innocently a moment later.
Sasuke and Naruto crowded their teammate "Piss off we don't need your help" Sasuke growled, on the verge of activating his sharingan if the guy didn't leave them alone, apparently his tone wasn't enough to scare Kabuto off.
"I'm sure you don't mean that, of course you need help, why else would you be trying to run me off so desperately otherwise" Kabuto said, pushing his glasses back into their proper place on his face as he took a step closer to the rookie genin.
And the one his master wanted above all as his new container, Sasuke reached for the scythe on Sakura's back "There's no need for that Sasuke, we can just ignore him" Naruto stopped him from unhooking the scary weapon to brandish at the jerk who wouldn't leave them alone.
Sasuke tsked but relented by letting go of Sakura's scythe and ignore Kabuto they did until their proctor finally arrived when everyone's attention was on the leather clad man, Sakura reached into her pouch and tossed something up onto the sealing.
Her teammates the only witnesses to her strange action, Sakura winked at them then focused on Ibiki as he introduced himself "Morino, I wonder if this is the guy Anko's always talking about" Sasuke hummed at the familiar name.
That Anko was always ranting about "Probably, seeing as we don't know any other person with the last name Morino" Sakura shrugged, joining the line as they were assigned seats one by one until they were all spread out and separated from one another.
"Good luck guys, I just hope I don't massively bungle this thing up by not being able to answer any of the question" Naruto grimaced as they headed for their separate seats in completely different rows.
In response Sakura sent him a grin, winking mischievously making him wonder if she wasn't plotting something, then he remembered that she'd thrown something at the ceiling and chanced a glance only to see nothing.
He had no more time to think as the exam papers were passed out to every genin participant in the room and Ibiki explained the rules "Alright, ready, begin" Ibiki ordered, sitting in the chair behind the desk as they lifted their pencils and turned their papers over to begin.
