Chapter 22

The next morning

Ebony had just woken up to see everyone else was just getting up themselves "right let's get packed up and moving" he hears Yang saying as he nods to her in agreement and began packing up his own things away.

...

Schnee house

Crimson had woken up early and was walking around the house where she found herself at a room looking in she saw her aunty Willow sitting on a chair sleeping, looking around she saw pictures of her children hanging on the walls as she smiled sadly at a painting of Willow when she was young and in a better state, looking at the floor she sigh in sadness seeing the many bottles of alcohol laying around "I am sorry if the room is a mess!" she turns to see Willow was awake or half awake.

Rolling her eyes at the state of her "it's okay I know what alcoholic people are like!" she said sounding sympathy for her.

"ha...! how would you know, you don't know what I am going through?" she hears Willow asking.

Walking around picking up some of the bottles off the floor and placing them in the bin "in the empire young ones are encouraging to volunteer to help some of the charities in the empire I volunteer to one who helped to stop alcoholic people from drinking and at times you went into their homes and found it littered with bottles" she then walked in front of Willow "and your right I don't know what your going through but what I do know is there is two children here who needs their mother and not some drunken women!" she said to her showing no emotion to her.

"ha! they don't need me!" she watched in disgusted as Willow drank into another bottle of alcohol.

Grabbing the bottle off Willow seeing her looking angry at her "every children needs their mother at some point in their life and right now I am sure they need you" she said placing the bottle on a table before walking to the door "and Aunty for what it's worth it is nice to finally see you I am only sorry that you fell into this path" she said walking off leaving Willow.

A few minutes later

Crimson eventually came to Weiss room slowly opening the door she saw Ruby, Blake and Weiss all sleeping on the couch smiling at the scene she then noticed the medic sitting on a chair next to Nora walking quietly up to Nora "how is she?" she asked quietly as not to wake the others.

"her Aura is rising but still not quick enough even with this formula" she hears him saying as she faces the monitors as it showed Nora Aura only at 16%.

Sigh to herself "if she doesn't get to 20% by eight o'clock in the afternoon I am going to radio mum for an extraction to get Nora and the others out of here I know it will alert Ironwood where we are but I have no choice" she said turning around to see her cousin was up "Weiss your up!" she said trying to look innocent.

"yes and I heard what you were saying about radioing aunty what were you planning on doing if Ironwood gets here first?" she looks to her cousin staring her right in the eyes.

"I was planning on placing you all on the plane with Nora to get you all out here while me and the Winter pack stays here and hold him off long enough for you all to get way" she said seeing her cousin gasp while placing her hands up to her mouth.

"no we all stay together no matter wh..." she stopped her cousin right there.

"I know but me and the pack can handle ourselves in a cell but I won't let them get to you" she said walking up to Weiss taking her cousin hands into her own "please if I have to use the radio then please go with Nora be safe you can continue your work with your team under the safety of our fleet and under the protection of our mighty she-wolf from there you can still help Remnant" she said to her.

"and I said no I won't abandoned Atlas nor leave you behind" she closes her eyes.

"your a stubborn one just like me and my brother" she said looking at Weiss with a smile as they soon noticed the others were just waking.

...

Cerise was just arriving on the bridge of her own ship that has just been repaired where she noticed on one of the many screens around the bridge was showing a recon drone footage of the creature moving ever so slowly towards Atlas "how long has that thing been moving!?" she asked curiously.

"it hasn't been moving that long your empress" she hears one of her crew saying to her.

Slowly turning away from the screen "has our two patrols plane found anything?" she asked out loud.

"nothing yet your empress they have came back to rest we have sent another four out to scout some more" nodding to this as she taken her seat seeing her friend pouring her a cup of tea "thank you" she said taking the cup.

4 hours later

Ebony was running after Jaune as they noticed some thing odd was happening in the ground as soon as he caught up with him he gasp at seeing a huge black looking water moving like a river "it's Grimm!" he hears Jaune saying shock.

"okay we will follow this thing Jaune you try and radio help!" Ebony shouted out as they nodded.

40 minutes later

As they were following the thing while hearing Jaune trying to get help when they all noticed an Atlas military plane landing and out came Ebony cousin Winter along with the Ace ops or what's left of them "ah great Atlas has arrived" Ebony chuckle a little as one of the troops shouted that out loud.

Ebony heard one of the Ace ops talking to him and the troops "now are you going to come quietly?".

Looking to the troops and to Sienna seeing them all nodding to him with a knowing look from them all "what do you thing?" he said as he and the others pulled out their weapons.

"fine by m...!" one of the Ace ops was stopped as they then heard another plane looking up they noticed it was one of the empire planes.

As it too landed it back door opened up and a few of the empire troops came rushing out aiming their weapons "well looks like we have you out numbered!" Ebony said with a smug look on his face.

"everyone just calm down please!" Jaune said trying to keep the peace.

But before anything else could happen the ground started to shack making everyone stop what they were doing "that's wasn't a normal earthquake!" some one said worried when suddenly a burst of black liquid flew through the air and smashing into the rock where Atlas sits on "HOLY MIGHT SHE-WOLF!" an empire soldier screamed out as they watched the liquid turning into a few Grimms and rushing up the rock and began knocking out the shield.

"quickly get on the planes!" Ebony shouted out to the soldiers as they all moved onto their own plane he noticed Jaune and the others weren't coming with them "come on!" he shouted to them.

"you go ahead we'll go with them" he looked towards the Ace ops with anger then back to him.

"but we can keep you...!" he was stopped by Yang.

"go we can handle them" he saw Yang walking towards the Atlas plane.

Sighing to himself as he knew he couldn't do anything to change their mind facing his cousin "Winter if you harm them I promise you, you will be a disgrace to this family!" he said angry to her as he climbed into the plane closing the door and hearing them moving away.

...

Cerise and the bridge was suddenly silent as they watched the whole thing play out watching as the shield went off and the huge creature crashing into Atlas, Cerise noticed everyone was looking to her, she knew they were waiting for an order from her "tell all patrol planes to return to the fleet then get me the infiltration team up to the bridge ASAP!" she shouted out making them jump at this.

Crimson gasped in horror as they watched it from their scrolls she saw Weiss looking worried "hay it's going to be okay we will keep you all safe" she said hugging into her.

20 minutes later

Cerise was looking over a holographic map showing both Atlas and the huge Grimm when saw the team rushing into the bridge "your empress!" she hears them saying at the same time.

"well looks like your going in sooner" she said facing a person who was at a computer "is the bomb ready?" she asked the person.

"not yet your empress" she turns back to the team walking back to the table as the holographic began to zoom in on both the creature and Atlas.

They saw the massive amount of air Grimms and ground Grimms in the area that was around the massive creature "empress we won't make it in there even with the stealth plane" she nods in agreement to this as she went to think of a new plan.

As she makes the image small "here what we are going to do we will still go with the original plan but to get the air Grimms away I will place several artillery groups a few meters away two of the groups will open fire into the creature" she shows the two location "once they begin to fire the air Grimms will come for them" she then looks to the team seeing looking confused.

"your empress why several when you only mentioned two to fire onto the creature!?" one of the team asked concerned by this "plus this would make them vulnerable to attack".

Cerise sigh and looked down "yes it would but they would have ground support and air support" she paused "as for the other well those artillery groups isn't aiming for the creature!" she said sounding defeat by this point "their target is Atlas city".

"WHAT...!" she hears everyone screaming out at this.

"your empress I must protest this is cra...!" one of the soldiers shouted out but was stopped by Cerise.

"I know but I am sorry I gave him every chance but now I am out of option this is the only one I have or else I either have to use the heatwave missiles or bring the six sister's into this and use one of them to enact the 'total clearance' protocol look I didn't want to do this but I have no choice left I just hope that the mighty she-wolf will forgive me for this" she said seeing them all looking at each other.

"we understands your empress" one of them said making the others nod in agreement.

"okay now let's head down to the R&D and see if the bomb is ready to go" she said leading the way.

...

On the ships several transport planes were quickly loaded with artillery guns as well as their crew as they saw the signal to start moving out they began to fly away from the fleet were they noticed the escorts of fighter planes coming with them they even saw two transport plane with four long tubes that had AA guns written on the tubes.

Crimson was with Weiss while her troops were some place else getting ready in case of a fight she watched in silence as her cousin was arguing to that woman about staying here only for the woman to reveal she was a man once just then she saw her medic rushing up to her "Crimson if the Grimms are here now we need to get Nora out of here because I am running out of options here" she turns to face him.

"I know but the fleet will be busy dealing with that huge Grimm and I can't risk one plane to come and get us not unless it a last resort " she said to him when they all stopped when a knock came from the door everyone reacted by drawing out their weapons.

They watched Weiss slowly opening the door to reveal a man who Weiss knows as they let him in and he began to explain who had phoned him and what he is here for but before he could do anything everyone attention was turned to the medic "will he do?" Weiss asked him.

They saw him thinking it over when hearing him sigh "I guess it the best we have" they hear while seeing him shrugging as they both walked off.

Crimson saw Weiss hugging her brother when a huge crashing sound was heard outside rushing out they saw a crater near the fountain quickly rushing to the edge they gasp in shock seeing Penny all banged up "quickly you two get in there and get her to our medic!" Crimson shouts out to two of her troops who quickly did that.

Crimson watched as the group had taken Penny away she faced the medical personnel thinking on their now new situation she sigh knowing what is needed to be done "I am going to go to the radio now!" she said sounding defeated.

"thank you" she hears him saying "I will get them both ready for transport" she watched him leaving.

"let's go to the radio" she said to the remaining troops as they all moved out.

...

Cerise ship

Cerise arrived in a room seeing several people walking to and from tables and working areas "ah your empress" she sees a Faunus male sheep walking up to her.

"is the bomb ready?" she asked him.

"it is now" she sees him showing her the bomb it wasn't a huge bomb it was the same size of normal football but was two football length "now we have placed a timer in it as well as a detonator in it for manual control, it is hooked up to seven explosive crystals, seven of our light grenades and seven fire type crystals it should be enough to kill the thing the only thing is we don't know what the blast range would be after all mixing these types of crystals are very dangerous so we won't know what would happen when it goes off" she hears while looking at it.

Turning to the team "will you be able to carry it?" she asked them.

"sure Juggernaut here can carry it" she saw the male point to a huge tall Faunus ram male who nodded to her.

"okay get suited up, you'll be heading out in as soon as possible " she said seeing them saluting before leaving the room.

...

Ebony location

Ebony was with the pilot getting all the latest news on what been going on when he noticed a bunch of their own planes heading to somewhere grabbing the radio "empire transport planes this is Sienna pack what's your heading?" he asked.

"Sienna Pack this is artillery group 2 we have been ordered to head to a location to fire onto the huge Grimm your empress has a plan but she needs us to act as a distraction" he hears making him think on something.

"do you have support?" he asked.

"we have a couple of AA and some gunships with us but any help you could give would be very much appreciated" he faces the other packs seeing them looking tired from this long journey.

He faced Sienna seeing her looking confused "it's your pack you have full authority of them" he said to her.

"really!" he nods to her watching her facing her pack "what do you all think?" he hears her asking them.

Seeing them looking at each other then back to Sienna "we go where you go ma'am" he smiled at this knowing the pack has accepted Sienna into the group.

Seeing her facing the pilot "can we go with them?" he looks to the pilot who nods back as they felt the plane turning around to follow the artillery group.

...

Crimson arrived at a small room that they were using for their radio she saw a female ram tending to the radio "any updates?" she asked her.

"some, your mother has ordered a full mobilisation of the entire empire military while she been also hatching a plan to deal with that huge Grimm" she hears the radio operator saying to her.

"mh...!" she said thinking on what her mother must be dealing with "listened I am going to radio for a medical evacuation" she saw the female looking worried "I know it might alert Ironwood where we are but I have no choice now" she said seeing her looking worried but got up to allow her into the radio.

"I understand Crimson on you go best to keep it short that way it harder for them to pick the signal" she hears her saying before leaving her alone.

Taking a seat she hold the mic up to hear mouth taking a deep breath pushing the button "this is Winter pack any of our empire ship hearing this?" she said on the mic waiting a few seconds.

"roger Winter pack this is Wolf Of Hope what can we do Crimson?" she smiled at the name of the ship.

"just the right ship I was looking for we need an immediate medical evacuation on the Shnee mansion we have two injured people" she said over the radio.

"got it I send one plane right away I inform your mother of this as well" she hears the captain saying.

"thank you may the Mighty she-wolf guide you" she said before disconnecting the radio.

Getting up to leave she saw the female still there "it's done best to pack it up" she said to her seeing her nodding before leaving her alone.

...

Artillery group 2

Ebony arrived at the destination where he saw the artillery all setting up he could just make out Atlas in the distance "so what the plan?" he hears Sienna asking one of the artillery people.

"well we just have to fire into the creature to distract some of the Grimms long enough to allow a team of small troops access into the creature to plant a bomb" he hears the soldiers saying making him understand now why they where deploying artillery here while he watched them unloading the guns and shells.

"okay everything is set up and ready to go!" he hears someone shouting out.

"Sienna best to get your pack to set up some walls to use as a barrier for protection" he said to her seeing her nodding just before they both saw four long tubes with AA written on it and a small barrel popped out of them sooner then they both heard the artillery begging their attack.

...

Cerise watched the stealth plane leaving the hanger as she received news her son and Sienna pack had made contact with one of the artillery group she as glad for this news "I will be off to pray in the church tell me any latest developments as soon as possible" she said getting up to leave the bridge as she heads for the ships church to pray hoping her daughter was safe as well now.

...

Near the grimm whale

The small team saw the shells from one of the artillery group pounding into to the side of the creature making some of the Grimms to head towards the group, they then saw the landing area was clear enough for them to land, the captain quickly looked towards the battlefield where he saw both Grimms and Atlas fighting it out but he also felt pity Atlas because he saw in sadness their other artillery group also hitting the battlefield as well as pounding into the city itself.

Feeling the plane touching down he and his squad all got off and ready themselves for any fight "may mighty she-wolf forgive us for this day!" he whispered to himself as they moved out.

...

Ironwood Office

Ironwood watched the battle play out when he noticed a bunch of explosions going off in the city causing some damage to building "where did that came from?" he asked over his radio.

"sir that came from outside the city it seems the empire has set up some artillery group" anger was now racing through his body as he was shown a video of an artillery group firing "what are you up to Cerise?" he asked himself looking to the last location where the empire fleet was last seen.

...

Winter location

Winter watched in horror as she saw her auntie using artilleries to fire into the creature as well as both the battlefield and the city "why is she attacking the city?" she question to herself quietly.
