Chapter 23

Cerise location

Cerise just received news that the infiltration team had successfully made it to the whale Grimm and where now making their way through the body of it, she was still in the church room when she saw a young male sheep Faunus coming up to her "your empress we have heard from the medical ship that your daughter requested an evac she has two injured people the ship has sent out the transport plan to collect them" she hears him.

Smiling at this "thank you I am going to head to the bridge the now" she said getting up and walking off.

Infiltration team location

As the team made their way through the body they managed to avoid most patrols that roomed the corridors "how far do you thing the heart is?" one of them whispered.

"don't know but judging from where we landed we must be near the lungs so from there the heart must be close" another one said as they came to a door.

"okay team remember to keep an eye out we don't want any attention" a human male said as he prayed open the door but was shocked when a huge Ursa was on the other side and was already to strike him with it huge claw as it came down hitting him in the chest causing him to scream out in pain and collapsing to the ground.

The rest of the team opened fire killing it quickly one of the Faunus female grabbed their captain dragging him to a wall as she looked him over she the huge wound in his chest with blood everywhere she was about to get her medic bag but was stopped by him when they suddenly heard roars coming from down the same corridor they were about to in "shit they know we're here now" one of the team shouts out.

"Sakura" the Captain said holding his hand out to stop the female "I won't make it" she saw her looking confused "I will only slow you all down here take this" he said pulling a chain of his neck and placing in her hand "you have the pack now" he said.

"but captain" she said with tear in her eyes.

"go there will be more coming go!" he shouts to them all seeing them all nodding and rushed but one of them grabbed Sakura who was screaming out to him as she was being dragged away "I am sorry" he said bringing his weapon up "oh might she-wolf forgive me for any wrong doing I have done" he said seeing the huge army of Grimms running towards him as he aimed his weapon and opened fire on them.

Crimson location

Crimson was with her team when they were told the plane was ten minutes away when the lights suddenly went off "what happened?" she hears one of her team asking as they all looked at each other with confusion on their faces.

Just then they all saw Ruby and Blake running past them telling them they were going to the generators at the back of the house nodding to them they all then went to check on their equipment making sure they have everything in order.

5 minutes later

They all saw the light coming back on just then they all heard a scream realising it was Ruby "you all stay here Heavy come with me!" Crimson said to them all before she and Heavy a wolf type Faunus male holding a huge heavy machine gun went with her.

Once they arrived outside they saw Ruby knocked out, Blake fighting some weird looking Grimm and Weiss helping her but before they could help they were suddenly surrounded by two of those same grimm "Winter pack we are nearing your location" Crimson hears over her radio when she dodged a green liquid seeing it sizzling at the ground.

She then saw the plane up in the sky coming from the back where they were "oh no!" she said as she saw one of the Grimms looking at the plane "pilot get out of here!" she screamed in her radio but was too late when she saw it spitting out the liquid hitting the plane in the wing causing the engine to explode.

"shit we can't hold it we're going down" she hears as she watched in horror seeing it spinning in the air as it went out of view she then hears the explosion coming from the front of the house.

She quickly rushes to the Grimm jumping up in the air avoiding another spit she flips herself over it and manages to land on it back pulling out a pistol she shots three times in it back making it cry out in pain when she the saw Heavy aiming his gun to it she quickly jumps off it before he opens fire on it she watched as the bullets hits it unprotected area killing.

As Crimson quickly gets to Heavy side they both couldn't see the other the one looking around to try and find it when suddenly "LOOK OUT!" she hears Heavy shouting out to her before she was shoved out the way.

Looking towards him she saw him kneeling on one knee holding the huge Grimm mouth open by his hands "go get to the crash site!" she hears him saying while trying to hold the Grimm in place.

"no I won't leave you behind no pa...!" she saw stopped by him.

"I know don't worry I have this" she hears him saying when she saw him getting back up on his two feet before smashing the Grimm on to the ground.

Nodding to him she rushed off into the house grabbing two more of her troops and came to the front where they saw the centre piece that was there no longer instead it was their plane that crashed there she saw fire was raging around the plane.

She looks to one of the Spiders robot "you quickly rip open the door!" she demanded to it seeing it using one of it huge arms grabbing onto the side door and ripping it cleanly off it hinges quickly she and the other two climbed in seeing the inside was a total mess "pilots!" she shouts out but couldn't get a response working her way through the wreckage she came to the front and saw both pilots dead.

Closing her eyes in sadness she grabbed their rags "may you both find peace in the promise land" she said before facing back to the two soldiers looking around she saw some ammunition boxes and other thing's they could use "quickly grab the ammunition and the radio batteries" she said as they went to work.

Once they got what they could they all climbed out when they heard another screaming coming from inside the house quickly they all rushed in seeing the rest of their pack looking around with worry she also noticed Heavy was back dropping the stuff down "quickly follow me!" she shouts out leading them all into the corridor.

As they all rushed through the corridor came to a complete stop seeing a huge weird looking Grimm "what the heck is that?" she hears one of her troops shouting out.

"don't care line up!" she shouts as they all lined up "FIRE!" she screamed out as they all opened fire on the thing seeing it holding up an arm.

Just then they all gasp seeing it rushed towards them "Jump" one of her soldiers shouted as they all dodged it in time.

Quickly recovering "we need to follow it" Crimson said as they all rushed after it.

As they chased it they soon came to the main entrance area where they saw the Grimm holding Penny while they saw Ruby with her friend at the bottom of the stair along with Willow and Whitley on the other side.

Crimson just saw her troops were about to open fire but she quickly stopped then "no it's got Penny" she said to them.

Just then they all saw a huge white flash shielding their eyes from it and soon it was gone they all gasp seeing Penny on the ground and the Grimm no longer there "is it dead?" she hears one of her troops asking unsure.

But just as they were about to relax they then saw the Grimm climbing back in through the window "what it's a human!" she said shocked by this seeing the male face and him screaming out about getting the girl.

They all watched in shock seeing it walking down the stairs nearing Ruby when suddenly something came crashing on top of it they watched as the dust settles down seeing the arm of the grimm dissolving away leaving the human skeleton.

As they all gathered up Crimson looked to her troops "I'll inform mother of what just happened here later meanwhile you all check the rest of the house for any more Grimms get the spiders to check out side the house" she said seeing them all saluting her and rushed off while she staid with Ruby "I hope the infiltration team doing better than us?" she asked herself.

Infiltration team

The team has been running through different corridors taking many turns and twist for who knows how long as they were trying to find the heart "where do you all think it is!?" one of them shouts out as they passed through a door.

"don't know they really aren't advertising it really well" another replied as they taken a turn of a corner when they all suddenly noticed Sakura had stopped "why hav...!" the same person was stopped by her.

"listen" she said then remains silent as the others did the same they could all hear a faint beating sound coming from one of the corridor "quickly this way!" Sakura shouts out leading the way.

25 minutes later

They soon came to a door that opened up to reveal a huge room where they saw a huge heart beating away they could see all the pipes that feed into it giving it blood and taking blood to somewhere else soon they saw their tallest members who was called Juggernaut walking up to it and placing the bomb right at the bottom of the heart "okay I'll say 25 minute should give us enough time to get the hell out of here" they all hear him saying as they watched him typing some thing's in to the key pad.

"cool okay no pressure" one of them said when they all heard the timer started to count down.

"infiltration team this is the stealth plane we have a problem!" they all heard the pilot over their radio.

"go ahead" Sakura said.

"your exit is no longer advisable" they all looked both shock and worried.

"what do you mean?" one them shouts over the radio.

"the landing pad is crawling with lots of Grimms to much for us to land there" silent was now in the air only the ticking of the timer.

"okay great!" Sakura said sarcastically "now what?" she asked seeing the rest of the of the team shrugging at this.

"we do see a small pad that has a ramp leading out of the whale but we can't land there but it might get you all out" she has the pilot saying.

"what do you all think?" she asked the other's seeing nodding "okay we will use that while you return to the fleet we will find our own way back" she said cutting the radio off "okay let's run now" she said as they all began to run off.

Cerise location

Cerise was on the bridge watching the battle play out she saw the devastating her artillery was doing to the city but she can't stop them she knows if she does then that means the six sister's ships would be called in to do their job.

"your empress the infiltration team has place the bomb inside the whale but their exit just got cramped by the Grimms the team says they will find their own way out and back to us" she hears from one of her troops on the bridge.

"okay anything else I must know?" she asked.

"yes Captain Pasma was unfortunately KIA" she closed her eyes at hearing this.

"I see thank you" she said seeing the person walking away.

"your empress your daughter is on the radio" he nods to this picking up the headset and the mic.

"daughter how are?" she asked with worry in voice.

"I am fine mother" she sighs a relief.

"thank the might she-wolf are you on the plane?" she then asked her.

"no we were attacked by some weird looking sentinel Grimms they spit acid out, one of them hurt the plane and it crashed killing both pilots" she was worried now.

"I sent some...!" she was interrupted by her daughter "no don't send any more not until I can say it safe to".

Cerise closed her eyes at this she knew her daughter was right about this "okay" she said.

"and mum there something else we encountered a weird looking Grimm at first we thought it was a new breed but it turns out it isn't" Cerise was now worried and confused "when Ruby used her eyes it revealed the Grimm was actually a human after we crushed it to death we saw it leaving behind a whole human skeleton".

Shack ran through her body "are you sure?" she asked just to make sure.

"yes" she hears.

Trying to think on what it was "okay I need to research on this but thank you daughter be safe" she said before hanging up the radio taking her seat on the bridge at she was still in shock by this news.

"tell the researchers about this" she said to one of her troops who nodded and left the bridge as she went back to see the battle play out.

Ebony location

Ebony was watching as the artillery group he was with was firing into the huge whale he and Sienna pack has been firing into the ground Grimms for a while now while he saw the AA guns firing the air Grimms out of the sky they were enjoying a bit of a breather when "GRIMMS!" he sighs picking up his weapon "I hope Penny and my sister is okay" he said to himself getting into one of the trenches they had built.

Cerise location

Cerise was sitting in the dinning room when she saw her pack walking "the whole area is safe for now can't guarantee how long though" she hears heavy saying.

"good what the conditions of both Nora and Penny?" she asked the medic.

She sees him stepping forward "well Nora is recovering nicely now while Penny I can't say for sure I'm not a technician" she hears from him.

"okay thank you for now just keep your eyes and ears open for any more surprise attacks" she said seeing them all nodding before leaving the room.

Looking out the window she saw the city was in chaos their own artillery training down along with Atlas fighting the Grimms "I hope my brother and Jaune are okay!" she said worried about them both.

Infiltration location

20 minutes later

The team was running through the corridors as fast as they could trying to find their new exit route "we need to move only five minutes left!" one of them shouts out to them.

"can you please stop counting down to our doom!" one of the female shouts back.

They came to a stop when they saw the corridor splitting in several directions "which way?" one of the male said.

Sakura looked at each of the direction she then looked at her timer seeing it just passing the five minutes sighing in sadness "I don't think we're getting out of this!" she said in a sad tone.

She faces the others seeing them all nodding with her "well at least we gave it our best" one of the female said making them all chuckle.

"wait silent!" one of the make stopped them.

"wha...!"Sakura was stopped by the male who placed a hand over her mouth.

"listen I hear fighting going on" he said as the other's all listened carefully when they too could hear a fighting going on in.

"it could lead us to an exit!" one of the female said with Hope's.

"don't know but let's go!" Sakura said with determination in her voice as she rushed ahead leading the others they way.

2 minutes left

The team rushed into a huge area where they saw Jaune, Yang, Ren, Oscar and two other people fighting Salem "what!" Sakura said stunned by this.

"don't ask go!" she hears Yang shout out to her as they ran past them quickly following her advice she and the other's ran following her down the ramp and out the whale.

...

In the heart where the bomb was a few Grimms made their way in and saw something walking up to it they saw it was ticking away when it went to 00:00 and a sudden loud humming noise then a white flash giving the Grimms no time to react.

...

The team was running off the ramp and through the battlefield when Sakura suddenly felt some one pulling her into the ground as they suddenly heard a huge explosion and a huge while flash coving their eyes and keeping their heads down for protection they waited until it was over.

Cerise location

Cerise was about to speak when suddenly everyone saw a huge white flash in the distance and a huge fire ball rising up in the air just then she and along with everyone else on the bridge knew what that was soon everyone started to cheer out at this all except Cerise she was happy but yet she wanted to know if the team got out or not.

...

Ebony location

Ebony was shooting into a bunch of Beowolf when suddenly everyone heard a huge explosion and a sudden white flash everyone had closed their eyes to protect themselves from the brightness of it but one thing was for sure Ebony knew they had done it.

Crimson location

Crimson was with her team as they were trying to think of a new plan when a huge white flash caught their attention along with a huge bang noise they all gasp at the sight where the whale Grimm was there was only a huge fire ball rising up in the air as they just staid there watching it.

...

Everyone watched from their own perspective seeing the huge Grimm slowly dissolving away in the air as the fleet was trying to see if the infiltration team was alive or not while both brother and sister was just shock by this whole thing.
