Chapter 13
"According to what i looked into. The babies are the size of two bananas. This ultrasound is going in the bedroom this one is going up in my office at the store. These two are yours. To do with whatever you want. I need to run an idea by you." Brooke said. The two were seated beside each other in the car.
"I'm listening." Lucas said. Unable to stop himself from the excitement and hope that was beginning to build inside himself. He was going to be a father. To have two sons. It was more then his heart could handle.
"Instead of having to move the babies from house to house. I was thinking. Why don't you sell you're house. I'll sell mine. And the two of us purchase a home together. A place where the babies will grow up. Feel safe and loved. Have us both. What do you think.?" Brooke suggested.
"I love it. I think that's a good choice. It feels right." Lucas replied.
Brooke nodded her head in agreement and started to drive.
Once Lucas left her car and went back into his own driving back to the office.
Sam and Brooke remained in the car.
"I say forget our nails. Let's just have a spa day then go out for lunch." Brooke announced.
Sam quickly placed her hand on her belly. Feeling movement. A fluttering. She smiled warmly.
I'm you're mommy." She whispered quietly.
Nodding her head in agreement at Brooke's suggestion.
