A couple weeks later once they were fully settled back into the village and their house, Kakashi approached is students all of whom were Chunin "Meet me on the training grounds in one hour, don't be late" Kakashi requested.
Those tailing the trio watched as Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura shared smirks with one another as their sensei body flickered "It's the bell exercise again for sure" Naruto declared, there was only one reason that Kakashi would ask them to come to the training grounds like that.
Sasuke and Sakura nodded "Agreed, Kakashi won't know what hit him though, we're not little genin brats anymore after all" Sasuke snorted lightly as they headed for their training grounds ahead of time.
"Definitely and this time we'll be getting those bells come hell or high water" Sakura vowed, punching her fist into her hand, green eyes twinkling like mad and a moment later they were stood together on the training ground.
Everyone who was going to be watching perched themselves in trees while the Chunin milled about patiently waiting for Kakashi to arrive and when he did show up, he had the bells in his hand, the same ones from their genin test.
Kakashi wiggled the two bells at them "I'm sure you three know what to do, if you don't get these bells before the end of today all of you will be demoted back to genin, remember to come at me with the intent to kill and I'll be using this, this time" Kakashi informed.
Before lifting his headband to reveal his implanted sharingan, Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto all tensed and then he was gone in a plume of smoke "Sakura below us" Sasuke said, having activated his sharingan.
Sakura's smile widened "Jump you two" Sakura demanded as she reared back her fist then brought it down, the impact was deafening as the ground imploded beneath their feet to reveal their sensei who had been hiding under ground.
The man looked extremely pale seeing the amount of destruction she'd caused with a single punch but Kakashi wasn't given much time to sit and gawk as fifteen Naruto shadow clones came after him attempting to catch him only to fail as he fled into the forest on our their training grounds.
His students tore off after him "Kami-sama help us all you turned Sakura-chan into a mini you Tsunade-sama" Shisui cried, terrified of the pinkette upon seeing what she was now capable of after only two years with the woman.
"Did you think she or I would shirk on her training Shisui, you really should have known better" Tsunade scoffed, Itachi did the honors of slapping the man over the back of the head in order to make him shut up, Izumi giggling all the while.
From his perch in a different tree Minato chuckled "Quite, and I can only imagine how calculative she is nowadays" Minato commented knowing that Sakura was very tricky when she wanted to be, especially towards enemies.
"Pity that she doesn't have any feelings of the romantic nature for Sasuke-chan, they'd make some beautiful children and make the next Uchiha's stronger" Mikoto sighed softly, even though Sakura adored Sasuke like a brother.
Kushina shook her head also thinking that it was such a shame "What I want to know is why your so adamant about allowing her to choose Minato" Fugaku questioned the blonde Hokage that was his friend.
Minato shook his head retaining his silence on the matter "Honestly its not like Sakura-chan's going to come out and say she's in love with a shinobi from the Hidden Cloud Village right" Kushina rolled her eyes at his refusal to answer the question.
Then she saw how Dan tensed at her accusation "That's it isn't it, no way in hell will I ever allow one of those b…Minato-kun" Kushina began ranting angrily only to have her hand squeezed gently by Minato.
"You shouldn't stress yourself out Kushina-chan think of the baby….and their not the same as you remember as I've been trying to tell you, Ay won't back out of this treaty, trust in my judgement" Minato soothed.
Until she had calmed and they continued to watch before Kakashi was soundly caught by his students a couple hours later "Well they certainly wasted no time" Tobirama snorted in amusement as the teammates wiggled the bells in Kakashi's face.
Who looked thoroughly put out that not only had Sasuke gotten even better with his sharingan in order to cast genjutsu reversals back onto people, but Naruto had also improved on his fuinjutsu in order to effectively use it in a fight.
Sakura was the biggest shocker of them all to his chagrin "Guess you three really aren't brats anymore huh" Kakashi said, accepting the bells back and feeling a little sad that his students weren't little anymore.
"Nope hate to break it to you Kakashi but we're really not" Sasuke stated simply with his arms crossed over his chest, foul attitude of before nothing but a thing of the past, he was calmer and more even tempered now.
Naruto and Sakura nodded "Goodness their quite the team aren't they" Hashirama chuckled thoroughly amused himself, he had worried for a bit if the three teammates would be able to work together after two years of not doing so only to have the worry completely unfounded.
"Believe me we know" Anko scoffed having showed up late since she'd been busy with work down at T&I, she'd been watching these brats for almost as long as Kakashi had been, give or take a couple of months.
Mito turned in the T&I interrogators direction and the two women eyed each other up "You care for them like an elder sister would" Mito nodded in satisfaction after finding what she was looking for in the the other woman.
Anko snorted, pretending like she was annoyed at being figured out even though Mito was right on the mark of things "So now what Kakashi-sensei will we go back to training every day again" Naruto asked.
Drawing everyone attention again "No that's something you get to do on your own time now, because we're not Team Seven anymore but Team Kakashi and I'm not your sensei but your teammate" Kakashi shook his head.
Explaining some of the changes that would be happening especially in their team dynamics "Just so you know we're probably going to continue to call you Kakashi-sensei" Sakura warned not ready to lose that sort of connection with the man yet.
Kakashi chuckled then waved them off "Tell me something would you Sakura, how is it that you fell in love with a Cloud Shinobi" Kushina jumped down out of the tree once Kakashi had vanished as had her husband and most others.
Sakura froze then sighed softly "Cee-san has been really kind to me…well after he stopped being such a jerk to us, he went out of his way to be nice and when I was really down on myself, he was there to lift me back up so that's how" Sakura admitted quietly.
"You know you make it really hard to argue with you Sakura-chan why do you have to be so logical about everything" Kushina groaned realizing that her adopted daughter had grown up to be an extremely complicated person.
Next to their teammate Naruto and Sasuke nodded as Sakura smiled apologetically before the trio wandered off to do their own thing and visit more people they hadn't been able to since she and Naruto had returned.
Until two more weeks passed and they'd been back in Leaf for an entire month, Sakura woke up very agitated for some reason 'It might have something to do with one of the tailed beasts, I'll try to pinpoint which one' Jashin frowned, fading from her psyche.
Itachi and her teammates were the first ones to notice the frown on her face "Is everything alright Sakura, nothings happened has it" Itachi questioned cautiously, hoping they weren't about to be attacked.
Just as she was opening her mouth to answer Minato appeared in the kitchen "Kakashi, you and your team are to move out effective immediately to Hidden Sand, two of the Kazekage's children have been attacked, one has been taken, they were Akatsuki" Minato ordered.
None of them hesitated simply did as commanded "Sakura you take Sasuke and go on ahead" Kakashi demanded once they'd signed out instinctively knowing that the two medics would be needed right away.
"Of course Kakashi-sensei, just keep yourself and Naruto safe alright…..summoning jutsu, Ivory to Sunagakure then come back for these two" Sakura ordered jumping onto Ivory's back, Sasuke joining her in the next moment.
The wolf bounded off after that and a couple minutes later she found a suitable rift in the world "Lets hope we can make it in time to save Gaara" Sasuke pleaded as they were bathed in pitch black, this was his first experience with the rifts.
But he knew better than to ask questions at the moment as Ivory ran through the darkness able to see obviously and what seemed like twenty minutes later they were a mile outside of the Hidden Sand Village, once they'd jumped off her back Ivory vanished into the rift again.
While they continued onwards to their sister village "Sakura, Uchiha come quick they got Gaara, Kankuro's poisoned please help my brothers" Temari was the first to spot them running towards the village gates.
They barely stopped to sign in "Don't worry Temari, I will not let either Kankuro or Gaara die I swear it" Sakura vowed determinedly, nodding politely at Reto and Tetsu as she passed them but for the most part hurried after Temari to the hospital.
"You mean we won't let them die Sakura" Sasuke reminded, he refused to be left behind this time, Sakura smiled but practically ran down the halls of Hidden Sands General Hospital to where Kankuro was.
And immediately began barking orders "Heat this up Sasuke with your fire jutsu we're going to need it for the soft extraction jutsu" Sakura commanded after filling up a deep tub with a murky yellow liquid.
In the meantime Sakura pressed glowing blue hands over Kankuro's chest to check on his symptoms "This poison it has some familiar qualities" Sakura commented trying to remember until it hit her.
Kabuto had injected her with a very similar poison back in Tanzaku Town and that blonde with Hoshigaki, the drug they'd used on her "You look pretty upset, what can't do it, is this beyond your capabilities" Tetsu entered the room in the next moment.
Chiyo one of the elders on his heals "No it's not Lord Tetsu I just know who made this poison, Sasori Akasuna, he also happens to be a member of the Akatsuki Organization" Sakura growled low under her breath.
Once she got her hands on that bastard he was going to regret touching people she cared about "And how would you know that" Tetsu prodded relentlessly distracting the medics from doing their jobs.
"Because I've been poisoned by the bastard twice now thank you very much and people like to brag about who made it, now please if you have further questions I politely ask you to wait until I've saved Kankuro's life Lord Tetsu" Sakura requested so close to snapping at the man.
Tetsu for once decided that it would be better to leave and quickly did just that allowing her and Sasuke to work on their patient by drawing out the poison with the soft extraction jutsu that both of them thankfully knew how to do.
Sasuke wiped his forehead free of sweat "All that's left is to make an antidote right Sakura" Sasuke inquired, Sakura nodded briefly at him and set to studying the poison sample they'd gotten out of Kankuro.
Before deciding on which herbs to use for the antidote "Thank Jashin I know all the herbs they grow in this village" Sakura whispered to herself after requesting the herbs needed one of which was scurvy grass.
While also thanking Temari who'd been the one to show her the greenhouses during her two month visit "We're here Sakura-chan, Sasuke, how's Kankuro doing" Naruto burst his way into the room five minutes later.
Kakashi on his heels "Looks like we don't have to worry to much" Kakashi noted seeing that Kankuro was going to be just fine, which left Gaara and he knew that Sakura had to be seething with unadulterated rage over the fact that he'd been taken.
"Give us ten minutes to craft this antidote then we can go save Gaara" Sakura asked, skin crawling at the thought of leaving her friend in those bastards hands for any long than she had to, Rasa poked his head into the room at that particular declaration and nodded.
Unfortunately someone had to be ridiculously stubborn "Then I will be coming along as well, Akasuna and I have a debt to settle" Tetsu informed unrelenting even when Rasa shot him a dark look knowing the real reason beyond his statement.
Because he thought Sakura was going to join Akatsuki in whatever ceremony they used to extract Bijuu from their hosts "I'll tag along keep Tetsu in line" Reto interjected when the argument started getting out of hand.
Rasa sighed and shot Sakura an apologetic look "Don't worry about it Kazekage-sama" Sakura smiled wanly in response but finished concocting the antidote Kankuro needed and with Sasuke's help his son was given the oral antidote.
The remaining two doses put in hypodermic needles to take along, imagine their surprise as they took their leave and found a third tag along "Sasori is my grandson, I'm responsible for the way he turned out and I think it's time I faced him so he can be stopped" Chiyo declared.
"Pakkun's got his scent" Kakashi explained when they started running in a certain direction, chuckling when his students/teammates shuddered each of them probably thinking back to their genin days and thanking Jashin that they no longer had to face down his ninken.
For awhile as they ran everyone began thinking that they were going to reach their destination undeterred that was until they had to dodge the speeding shark missile "Aww to bad, did you miss me Pinky" then came his voice.
Sakura jerked back into Tetsu who'd been right behind her paling rapidly 'Sakura calm yourself it is not Hoshigaki, the surface chakra might be his, but underneath it is not' Jashin ordered, sensing what his daughter did not.
Helping her calm down and straighten up "I know for a fact that the real Kisame Hoshigaki is dead, because I visited his grave back in the Hidden Mist Village so you might as well stop because your disguise isn't working" Sakura spat settling into an offensive stance.
Unfortunately this person was nothing like the bastard who'd tried to impersonate Shisui instead he attacked aiming directly for Naruto, Sakura snatched the blondes hand and on reflex he swung her to kick the fake Kisame in the chest.
Followed by a loud crack echoing in their ears as the large man went flying backwards "Geez warn me before you do that Sakura-chan" Naruto huffed setting his sister on her feet in the nick of time he might add as the impostor Kisame came at them again.
A wall of iron sand met him this time, it coiled around the fake like a vice grip and began squeezing "Tetsu don't be hasty…we could get information out of him" Reto warned seeing what Tetsu intended on doing.
"Pointless Lord Reto, he won't talk, their all devoted to the cause" Sasuke shook his head, glad that he knew the man's name thanks to Sakura, Reto deferred and soon the person impersonating Kisame was crushed to death.
With that since no had bat an eye at the brutal death the lot of them began running again 'Hidan says they'll be starting the ritual soon, hurry daughter, hurry' Jashin urged suddenly, Sakura pumped chakra into her legs to boost her speed.
The others with her doing the same until they finally came across a large boulder that blocked a cave "Damn there's a seal on that how are we going to get in" Tetsu scowled, seeing what everyone else had already seen.
Being the sealing jutsu expert of the group Kakashi looked to Sakura for direction "That seal is different than the last one so I'm betting that in each of the cardinal directions that there are tags that have to be removed at exactly the same time that also have traps" Sakura informed.
Tetsu immediately honed in on one particular part of her statement "What do you mean it's different than the last one, I'm right aren't I about how your actually an Akatsuki Member yourself, I knew it" Tetsu scowled.
Simply attacking and not letting Sakura say anything else to defend herself "LORD TETSU that is enough" Chiyo shouted when the girl was about to experience the same death as the fake Hoshigaki a couple hours ago.
But Tetsu wasn't about to get away scott free this time "For your information we once used an Akatsuki hideout for our own means to capture one of their members, they had a different seal on the rock" Sakura glared.
Fed up with being attacked because people couldn't accept the truth so plainly in front of their fucking faces "Now if you could stop accusing me of bullshit for one minute Lord Tetsu that would be nice and I can tell you all what has to be done to get us in" Sakura snapped.
Suitably chastened Tetsu silenced himself for the time being a few minutes later four Naruto clones were sent out in the four cardinal directions, while Sakura readied herself to destroy the boulder blocking the entrance to the hidden cave.
"Just make sure you enhance the genjutsu Kakashi casts with your sharingan Sasuke, then grab Gaara and use this to get out, all you have to do is channel chakra into it" Sakura said, handing over the gourd full of gold dust that Rasa had given her long ago.
Naruto stayed rather close to Sasuke not so surprisingly "I think I'll go back with them, as much as I want to stay I know I'll just get in the way if your worried about me Sakura" Naruto admitted suddenly not really wanting to get involved here.
Especially when Gaara was going to need both his and Sasuke's support to get back probably "His clones are in position Sakura, Kakashi is to" Sasuke informed, using his sharingan to find the clones had found the tags.
Sakura tensed and began building chakra up in her hand a second later all five tags were removed at the same time, she jumped over the ledge and charged "Kami" Reto whispered as Sakura reached the giant boulder and punched it.
And the whole thing just shattered, Kakashi shot down next to his student flying through hand signs "Lightning Flash Pillar Illusion" the Copy Ninja shouted, blinding the enemy and catching them in a genjutsu.
One that Cee had taught Sakura out of fondness though she wasn't able to use it herself, Sasuke was next as he enhanced the illusion with his sharingan strengthening it before darting forward to reach Gaara's position in the cave, Naruto on his heels.
Then in a rush of gold dust the three shinobi were gone just as those gathered in the cave which equaled two Akatsuki members broke out of the genjutsu "Oh for fucks sake now we have to go catch that brat again" the blonde one groaned.
Upon seeing that their quarry was gone, ceremony uncompleted, Sakura held steadfast to her position despite recognizing the man in front of her as the one who'd drugged her right before Kisame had tried to rape her.
"Be more concerned about the Leaf and Sand Shinobi right on our doorstep brat" the other one who could only be Sasori growled in a low voice, inwardly he was beginning to realize this was no ordinary group.
As he spied someone who should be dead, considering he still had the Third Kazekage sealed away in a scroll "Oi I remember you, your that bitch that killed Kisame" the blonde snapped his fingers suddenly.
Recognizing Sakura, her gaze snapped to his and she let a truly terrifying scowl form on her face "Wrong, but maybe if that fucker hadn't tried to rape me, you'd still have him in your organization instead he got sent back to his village alive and executed" the pinkette sneered.
"Sakura-san is that true, he really tried to rape you, is that why you would have nightmares back in Sunagakure" Reto asked, understanding why Rasa had treated her kindly and had tried to get them to back off the girl so much.
Sakura nodded keeping her chin raised out of stubbornness because she wasn't that little girl anymore "Perhaps Kisame should have raped you, then maybe you wouldn't be so foul mouthed towards your betters" Sasori growled next.
Verdant irises burning with hatred were directed at him, letting Tetsu see the truth he'd been denying for the past several months, Sakura was not a member of Akatsuki given that she was currently trying to incinerate Sasori with just her glare alone.
Chiyo stepped forward "Enough talk, prepare yourselves you two because we're about to take you down" Chiyo declared, pulling out a string of kunai and sending the projectile weapons after Sasori and Deidara.
Deidara dodged and made his escape from the cave Kakashi and Reto on his heels leaving Sakura, Chiyo and Tetsu who readied his iron sand against his former murderer "Now might not be a good time to apologize, but I apologize for accusing you before" Tetsu told Sakura.
As he blocked the girl with his lethal weapon while Chiyo dodged every attack Sasori threw at her, every weapon just so happened to be covered in the same poison she'd extracted from Kankuro "Really a bad time Lord Tetsu but I'll hear you out after this is over" Sakura snorted.
Unsealing her own weapon to knock throwing needles out of the air "Sakura now, destroy the puppet" Chiyo ordered, Sakura dropped her scythe that Tetsu caught for her and ran full speed at Sasori, arm cocked back.
In the next second from the wreckage of the Hiruko puppet after she'd punched it with one of her chakra enhanced attacks, the real Sasori unveiled himself, hazel eyes seething with rage glowered at the three of them.
And Chiyo had to quickly attach chakra threads to Sakura to bring her to safety when Sasori used the remains of Hiruko to shoot out more poisoned throwing needles "Tch guess I have no choice against you Chiyo-ba" Sasori scowled.
Pulling a scroll out, Sakura furrowed her brow in confusion "How is that possible" Sakura asked seeing the Third Kazekage in front of her alive, but also as a puppet wielded by the enemy, it didn't make much sense.
'The way I brought him back gave him another body daughter, that is his old one, which is still in enemy hands' Jashin explained, Sakura blew out a breath and accepted her scythe back from the living Lord Tetsu.
Who sneered at Sasori "Last time Akasuna you might have gotten the drop on me, but this time you will be the one facing defeat" Tetsu declared, sending some iron sand after the puppet version of himself though taking the puppet out was easier said than done.
Considering it could use iron sand as well and the two attacks canceled each other out since they were the exact same, so Chiyo brought out the Mother and Father puppets that Sasori had first created while Sakura and Tetsu watched, waiting for an opening to present itself to attack.
Because only physical attacks would work against their current opponent at the time "Damn he should have started wearing down by now considering his age" Tetsu cursed when things just went around in an entire circle.
Seeing as he had to use his iron sand to protect Chiyo, himself and Sakura from the puppets iron sand "Your right but we won't get anywhere like this, Chiyo-sama please use me to fight him" Sakura nodded.
Marching over to stand in front of Chiyo, distracting the elderly woman for a moment and Sasori saw this as his chance to take the girl out who'd been a thorn in Akatsuki's side since the day Itachi and Kisame had went after the Kyubi brat.
He rushed her with iron sand in a lethal shape, Sakura whipped around and slammed a chakra coated fist into the large triangle shaped iron sand sending it flying back at Sasori who jumped onto the side of the cave to avoid his own attack.
Glaring murderously at her as he jumped back down and straightened himself out properly "You just made a big mistake brat, if you'd stayed out of things I would have let you go and told you something interesting, not now, you get the honor of being my next human puppet" Sasori hissed.
Furious with the girl "That is if you can catch me bastard" Sakura sneered as Chiyo attached chakra threads to her, Sasori snarled and began attacking her relentlessly, but to his frustration she was managing to evade every attack.
Calculating out his next move before he even made it even as her viridian orbs watched him extremely closely to anticipate and counter accordingly, needless to say Tetsu was extremely impressed with her superior dodging skills.
"Bitch if you'd just hold still for a second I'd make your death quick and painless" Sasori cursed impatient to get his hands on the brat who was giving Tsunade a run for her money at this point being able to keep up with the countless attacks he was sending after her.
Sakura glared at him in disgust, kicking the next attack straight back at him, the ceiling of the cave was beginning to cave in on them and soon the sun was shining down upon the four shinobi, did that stop Sasori no.
But Sakura kept up with her evasion and chakra enhanced strength, relying massively on her secondary chakra reserves from Jashin just in case, then Sasori got fed up with being unable to hit her with the Third Kazekage puppet.
And expended quite a bit of chakra for his next jutsu "Iron Sand World Order" Sasori called out, merging the two individual lethal forms of the iron sand into one, Tetsu seeing that he had very little time as the giant attack began forming.
Manipulated his own iron sand to cover Sakura, himself and Chiyo yet again, only to be to late and when they could all see again Sakura was bleeding from several injuries "SAKURA NO" Chiyo yelled out in order.
Watching in horror as Sasori sent the Tetsu puppet after Sakura who was laying prone on the ground supposedly poisoned "CHA, Shannaro you bastard" at the very last second however to Chiyo and Tetsu's relief.
She sat up and smashed the Tetsu puppet into smithereens with her chakra enhanced punch, rendering the iron sand useless on Sasori's end anyway as she leaped to Chiyo's side "How Sakura-san" Tetsu asked.
While she healed Chiyo after throwing a giant rock off the woman "Did you forget already Lord Tetsu, I made an antidote, enough for three doses, I put the other two doses in hypodermic needles and brought them because I knew we'd need them" Sakura tsked with a smile.
Revealing the last antidote and giving it to Chiyo "Give it up Akasuna, you have nothing left to fight with" Tetsu turned his attention on Sasori in the next moment who was stood in stunned silence across from them.
That wasn't the end of the fight however because as it turned out Sasori was a puppet himself and as incensed as he was that a little girl had been thwarting his attacks repeatedly for the last thirty minutes simply resumed attacking using himself this time.
Until finally Tetsu caught Sasori in his iron sand rendering his puppet form useless and began crushing his former murderer "Wait Lord Tetsu, he said something earlier to Sakura, you have three seconds Sasori speak or else I'll let him continue" Chiyo ordered.
Halting the man and Sasori started laughing "Chiyo-ba you can't really expect me to tell you anything can you" Sasori taunted, then again he hadn't ever thought he'd be outwitted by a brat who was half his age.
So perhaps he could tell her "Fine as a reward for capturing me, Orochimaru's on to you girl, that's all I'll tell you" Sasori informed, saying nothing more but it was enough for Sakura who grit her teeth at him.
"Orochimaru doesn't scare me and soon he'll get his own comeuppance for killing my parents" Sakura sneered not letting on that she was worried, with that Sasori was crushed into smithereens along with the heart container, taking Akatsuki down by four now.
It was then that Sakura decided to simply pass out from constant chakra use for the last hour and Tetsu barely caught her in time "I've got her scythe" Chiyo declared, turning her back on the remains of her grandson to face the future now that she'd faced her past.
Along the way back in the direction of Sunagakure they met up with Kakashi and Reto "He got away from us by flying up into the sky on the back of some white bird" Reto explained when his successor raised a questioning brow.
Who happened to also be carrying Sakura in his arms which surprised him greatly "Fear not, she overdid things a little and merely passed out for the time being" Tetsu assured when Kakashi peered worriedly down at the pinkette.
Kakashi exhaled in relief "Then she'll be back up soon thankfully" Kakashi sighed, glad that she wasn't to injured just simply overworked at the moment, something that had happened regularly back when she'd been a Genin and newly promoted Chunin.
"Mm damn it I fainted again I'm really beginning to hate that aspect of myself" Sakura woke up with a groan twenty minutes later and what was even worse, Tetsu refused to let her walk now that she was awake.
By shaking his head "Consider this my apology for all the things I've accused you of Sakura-san" Tetsu requested with a smirk despite her complaints before she settled for glaring at him exasperatedly but let him carry her the rest of the to Sunagakure.
And who would be waiting for them none other than Rasa, along with Gaara who had been healed thanks to Sasuke, Sasuke, Naruto and Temari "Sakura-chan, Kakashi-sensei, Granny Chiyo" Naruto darted towards them upon seeing the five of them in the distance.
Tetsu slowed and put Sakura on her feet only for the girl to be tackled by her teammate in the next second "Oomph Naruto-baka that does hurt you know" Sakura groaned, head reeling from hitting a rock when Naruto had knocked her down.
Naruto blushed furiously in embarrassment "Sorry Sis" Naruto apologized sheepishly as he helped her onto her feet again and wrapped his arm around her waist when she almost toppled back over clearly exhausted from whatever had happened.
"You know when I gave you that gourd full of my gold dust all that time ago, Sakura-san I never expected you to use it in order to save one of my children" Rasa commented, not having expected her to be so selfless.
Sakura smiled at him lightly "I saw a situation with no other option but to use it and had it used accordingly Kazekage-sama" Sakura informed, leaning her head on Sasuke's shoulder as he came to help keep her on her feet.
Rasa rolled his eyes in response to her cheeky response "Why give her some of your gold dust anyway that's what I'd like to know" Sasuke asked, seeing his chance to ask now that he wasn't horrendously worried about Sakura.
A crimson brow quirked down at him "Are you unable to recall the time I had her tortured Sasuke-san in front of the Third Hokage during my Coup on your village" Rasa questioned, causing the Uchiha to flinch.
Indicating he definitely remembered as did Naruto, Kakashi and Sakura herself of course all of whom blanched "Good seems I don't have to remind you after all, but that was a form of penance if you must know" Rasa plowed on ahead.
Not letting them dwell on those memories for very long as he answered the boys question, next to speak was Gaara who shuffled over with Temari's help and bowed in front of Sakura, her shaking her head all the while.
Trying to get him to stop "Please Sakura if it hadn't been for you I wouldn't be here, you, Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi-san that is, along with Elder Chiyo and both Lord Reto and Tetsu, so thank you all" Gaara thanked them profusely.
"Gaara we're your friends, of course we would have come for you no matter what to save you now stop bowing" Sakura reassured kindly, only to promptly pass out again, so she was taken to a hotel where a letter was sent back to Leaf to let the Hokage know his shinobi would be back in a couple days.
