Blinders Off
Chapter 18
As soon as it was possible. The babies were cleaned. Weighed. Wrapped in blankets with matching hats then handed to Sam.
Sam felt her heart fill with a warmth and love she wasn't expecting.
She stared into the eyes of her babies and knew she would never be the same.
They looked just like her. Brown eyes and brown straight hair.
"I love you the two of you so much." Sam stated. Emotion thick in her voice as she was taken to the recovery room.
She had 72 hours to be with her sons and make a final decision. Sam would take every minute she had and cherish it.

"I was thinking Sam's not leaving the hospital for a few days. We should get her a change of clothes. Something besides hospital food to eat." Lucas said.
Brooke stared back at him. "She called the babies her sons. She has 72 hours to make a final decision. I don't know what to think or how to feel. I want to go home. Us sticking around here for a few days just for her to change her mind. Is more then i can take." She replied.
"You go. I'll get her some food. Some fresh clothes. She isn't going to change her mind. You'll see." Lucas reassured her.
