Author's Note : To my readers. Thank you all. Review!
Awhile Later
Hearing a knock at her hospital room door. Sam gazed over at the boys who were asleep in their cots and smiled over at them.
"Come in!" She exclaimed softly.
Lucas quietly made his way into the hospital room. Closing the door behind himself.
"How are you feeling.?" Lucas asked.
"I'm alright. I'm looking forward to leaving and getting back home. I'll recover and figure out what comes next alot better in surroundings i'm comfortable with. You didn't have to bring me anything." Sam said. Noticing the bags in his hands.
"It's just some clothes for you to change into. I didn't pick this out. I had Peyton and Haley help me decide what clothes to choose. And the food is italian. Comfort food. Enjoy it. Let the doctors help you if you need it." Lucas said.
"I will. Where's Brooke.? I was thought she would be here.?" Sam questioned.
"She's at home today's events took a strong toll on her. I'm sure you'll see her again when it's time for you to check out of here." Lucas replied.
"I hope so." Sam said.
...
Days Later
After avoiding the topic of Sam. The day had arrived for her to make a final decision.
"For someone who wanted this so badly. I'm surprised to see you dragging you're feet to get to the hospital." Lucas stated.
As the two got into the car. And made their way towards the hospital.
"I barely slept at all last night. I feel off. Something is wrong."
"She is going to keep them." Brooke stated.
"Just because she's in a more stable place then when we met her. Doesn't mean she's going to back out." Lucas said.
"Since when did you become a cheerleader.?" Brooke joked.
Lucas laughed. "I like to think i've grown out of the brooding moody teenager you once knew. Less indecisive. More direct. I know what i want. And won't hesistate going after it." He admitted.
"Really then maybe i've read the signals between us all wrong."
"I guess there is nothing between us but friendship afterall. If you wanted me you would of made it known." Brooke pushed.
Lucas stared back at her.
"Watch the road Scott." Brooke said.
"Suddenly you're shy.? In case you forgot we met with you naked in my backseat. Bold and upfront is what you do." Lucas replied.
Parking the car in the parking lot of the hospital.
"I care about you very much." Brooke admitted.
"You're the first and last thing on my mind." Lucas confessed. As the two left the car.

Sam's Hospital Room
"Boys. Wake up. Mommy and daddy are here to bring you home." Sam announced.
"The nurse brought by the birth certificates. I left it for the two of you to fill out." Sam informed them.
Brooke and Lucas signed their names where it was needed.
Sam handed over both boys to them. And snapped a picture.
"First of many family pictures." Sam said with a smile.
"I just wanted to check in with you dear. Make sure you had a ride home today." The nurse asked.
"I do. I'm looking forward to being home. Could you take a picture of us all.?" Sam asked. Handing over the camera.
The nurse took the camera and took a photo with the three and newborns.

Feedings and changing of diapers and clothes were all that was going on since they bought the boys home.
Brooke had forgotten all about the unread voicemail Sam had left for her. She would listen to it later.
Sam make it clear she would reach out in awhile once she got settled in and healed.
