I found a friend or should i say a foe

Tree Hill Hospital
Jack paced back and forth in the waiting room. Watching the entrance doors open and close. He had never met Brooke and Lucas but knew they had taken on the responsibility of caring for Sam. That made them decent people regardless of how Xzavier attempted to paint them.
The sound of rapid footsteps came rushing into hospital entryway.
"Samantha Walker! We need to see her right now!" Brooke proclaimed. Walking over to the reception desk.
"We got a call that she was brought here and seriously injured." Lucas added in. Standing beside her.
When they got the call from an unknown number. They reached out to Karen and Keith. Asking them to come over and watch the boys. Because an emergency had happened.
As soon as they were able to the couple made it over to the house and said they would stay for as long as it was needed. Simply requesting to be kept posted on everything.
The receptionist typed and looked back at Lucas and Brooke.
"Samantha Walker was brought in. What exactly is you're relationship to the patient.?" The older woman asked.
"We're her family. Now can we get her room number or do you need to waste anymore of our time!" Brooke exclaimed.
"What exactly happened to her.?" Lucas questioned.
"She was stabbed. The person who did it was clearly acting out of rage because her injuries. Let's just say there was no way she was able to fight back. Sam is in room 510. Use the elevator." The receptionist replied.
"Thank you." Brooke said.
Lucas wrapped his arm around her as the they walked over to elevator and got inside. Once the doors closed and they were gone.
Jack walked over to reception desk and looked to the woman.
"Is Sam going to be alright.? We're engaged." Jack announced.
"You're the one who brought her in. You the answer to that question." The woman replied.
Jack soon left the hospital. He got out his cellphone and called his brother's number. The call rang three time with no response. When the voicemail kicked in.
Jack clutched his cellphone and started to speak.
"If Sam dies. I will kill you myself. You just couldn't leave her alone could you!" He yelled louder then expected. As he ended the call and went back into the hospital waiting room.

Sam's Hospital Room
Brooke walked in first. Lucas closed the door behind them. And walked over to where Brooke was.
Brooke sat down in one of the two empty chairs and took ahold of Sam's hand.
Tears filling her eyes. "She told us Xzavier and Jack would come back for her. We didn't want to believe it. We should done more to protect her." Brooke said.
Lucas took ahold of Brooke's other hand.
"Sam wanted to enjoy and live life on her terms. She wouldn't of wanted to be sheltered and kept in a bubble. A fighter. Free spirit. Smart. Capable. Stubborn. Deserving of so much more then to be lying here like this with a machine breathing for her." Lucas proclaimed. The emotion in his voice thick.
"We love you Sam. We wanted to ask you a very important question. We want to adopt you. You squeeze my hand if you want that too." Brooke asked. Her voice breaking with emotion.
When Brooke felt her hand get squeezed. Not only that but Sam's eyes opening slowly. She felt her heart leap.
"There's our girl." Lucas said.
"Mom .Dad" Sam replied softly. As her eyes rolled in the back of her head. Her entire began to shake.
"We need help in here!" Lucas shouted as he left the room.
