Out in the Commonwealth at Sanctuary Hills that used to be a nice neighborhood in the pre-war days. But now it's a settlement that people take refuge in from the wasteland that holds dangerous creatures and hostile raiders. In one of the houses is the general of the famous Minutemen, the Sole Survivor, Jennifer King. She has tan skin, brown frazzle hair, and blue eyes; she is wearing a dark blue overcoat, worn white shirt, a combat armor chest piece, black pants, brown straps, and brown boots. Jennifer had saved the Commonwealth countless times from Nuka-world to Boston and Far Harbor but still there two things missing in her life: Shaun and her husband, Nathan. However, she has a job to do for now.

Then Preston comes into the house and sees Jennifer sitting on the couch drinking some Nuka-cola.

"How's it going, general," said Preston

"Fine, Preston," said Jennifer

"I got information about strange noises and a weird device that might be created from the Institute,"

Jennifer stands up. "I can take care of it,"

"You know you don't have to do it, right?"

"Preston, there nothing I can handle,"

"I mean Commonwealth can handle things without you,"

Jennifer smiled. "I know, but I need something to do until I come back your in charge,"

"Alright, I'll tell you where the location is,"

Preston gives Jennifer the location where the strange call is coming from; she locates the location on her Pip-boy to find that it is about east of Bunker Hill, and she heads there. When Jennifer gets to the strange call, she sees that in the middle of the woods is a broken teleporter, and next to is a dead body that seems like a wannabe scientist.

"What the hell is the guy doing with this thing," Jennifer thought.

Then Jennifer hears something from the teleporter that sounds like fighting and a monstrous cry. Jennifer looks to see the teleporter is still active.

"Sounds like someone needs help. I hope I won't regret this," Jennifer thought as she goes into the teleporter.

What was once a sunny day, but now it's night time and snowing, Jennifer looks at his Pip-boy, but the device is having a problem locating where she is at.

"Where am I," Jennifer looks around to see the trees were alive and well "Why do trees look they have more than any tree in the commonwealth," then she looks up in the sky to see the broken moon "and what happens to the moon,"

Then she heard more gunshots from a distance. Usually, a normal person would run away. However, Jennnifer has a sense of heroics and good karma, so she ran toward the noise. Then she sees a figure fighting about many creatures with black fur and white platting around it. The figure on the losing end of the fight, Jennifer quickly undigitized the Protection gaze and shot one of the creatures that resemble a bear. It took some damage before running at Jennifer.

"Oh shit!" Jennifer thought

Jennifer reshoots the creature at the creature's neck, and she kills it; the creature turns into black ash. Then other creatures rush over to Jennifer, and the figure falls to the ground and it back.

Jennifer then undigitze the Splattercannon and takes out the creatures, and finishes one-off with the Protection gaze.

Jennifer goes to the figure lying on a pool of her blood, and next to her is a broken weapon. The figure is a woman with red and black hair and silver eyes. The woman has a massive scratch mark on her stomach, lost a left arm, cuts and bruises on her face, and a broken leg.

"Hang on, I can help," said Jennifer

"It's too late for me *coughs up blood* you must protect my baby Ruby," said the women pointing to a basket that she must have been protecting

"Don't worry, I can help with the bleeding," before Jennifer could get a Stimpak, she watches the life fade away from the women. "Dammn,"

Jennifer quickly goes to the basket to see the baby is asleep and wrapped up red blankets.

"at least you're okay," Jennifer thought as she picks up the basket "why in god name was that women doing in out here with a baby,"

Jennifer is thinking about making a grave for the women, but then she hears of the creatures in the distance, and she runs off from the creatures with baby Ruby in her hands.
