I haven't got a guardian, who did they call, I wonder who would come? Alex thought to himself whilst sitting in the headmaster's office, behind the desk sat Mr Giglin and Tim. They looked concerned for the teen but at the same time angry. The room was mainly grey, the walls were grey but the ceiling, white. The table was white but most of the folders on the desk were grey, the computer was a 'DELL' grey one and the carpet was a dark grey rough one. As well as the view out of the window's was of a grey playground.
Alex looked up as the door opened, Ms. Jones had come in. Is she my guardian now then? Alex wondered.
"Ah, here we are. Hello Ms...?" Mr Giglin paused an question.
"Jones." she replied.
Alex gave here a look of 'why are you here' but Ms. Jones ignored it and stood behind Alex, whilst sucking, yet, another peppermint.
"Right, let's get to the point," the headteacher remarked "Why has Alex been shot 6 times?"
She sighed before pulling out two MI6 badges, one her own, one Alex's "As you can see, he works for MI6, he has saved the country many, many times. In fact the world. Don't question my authority because as you can clearly see... you have no right to question it."
The men's jaws dropped and they fumbled around "Right, ur, ur, umm. Dismissed."
-After school-
It had started to rain and the puddles in the pavement to the park were growing large. Trees slightly protected them from the drizzle. Tom put down his phone.
"Mum says I need to finish packing, see ya tomorrow!" he called out whilst running towards his house.
Alex sighed and walked straight through the park and onwards, down an alley way that came out right next to Royal and General (MI6 headquarters). His hair had flattened on his head and as he stepped out of the rain her messed it up. His clothes stuck to his skinny self and he shivered with the warmth of the reception.
He entered and headed up the stairs towards his room.
"Alex!" Ms. Jones called out.
"Why did you tell them?" he asked
Ms. Jones rolled her eyes "I had to. Did you really think I would be able to explain my way out of that?"
"Well, no." Alex's head was tilted down and his eyes at his feet.
"In case I won't see you before you head off, I just wanted to say good luck." with that she walked off leaving Alex slightly happy that for once MI6 actually took a care for him, even if it was just those words, the words he had wanted to hear since working for them.
He took a shower, cold like the rain and got changed into a pair of navy blue shorts and a grey t-shirt that said 'live' on the front in white. Bare-footed he walked around the room finding the few things he needed to pack, he didn't need to buy anything as he knew what was coming. This wasn't going to be a fun school trip, this was going to be... well... 'hell' as you might say. He carefully put in a knife and then his phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Alex, go and see Smithers." said Ms. Jones. The phone beeped as the call ended, Alex slipped on some shoes that may blister on his feet but went anyway to Smithers office. Mr Smithers was his favorite person who worked at MI6, he was bubbly and very creative.
"Alex, my boy!" Smithers cheered. He was still fat but you could see he was trying his best to shove it off. On the normally empty table sat a black case.
Alex walked casually over "Hiya!"
Smithers grinned his cheesy smile before motioning to the case "Ms. Jones said to prepare you with somethings. One in particular I didn't really agree with but here you go." He turned around the case so the lock was facing Alex.
"It's locked."
"Yup!" He wobbled his head up and down making his double chin show. "She said to do that, though you'll be able to figure it out."
Alex pulled out a paper clip that he always carried with him and made it into a straight line, well as straight is it could be. He fiddled around with the paperclip in the lock for half a minute before it clicked open. He gently lifted up the lid and saw laying there a brand new gun.
"Browning MM-19..." he breathed "That's my favorite gun."
"I thought you have never used a gun before." Smithers raised an eyebrow.
"Nah, I stole many of the people I knocked out. As well as when I went to..." Alex shivered "S-Scorpia."
Smithers nodded "Well, this is your gun. Take the whole case, there's also some bullet magazines for the gun in there, you'll just have to fiddle around to find out where.
"Thanks Smithers." Alex smiled and turned around for the door, case in clutch.
"Oh and Alex, take it on the trip." They nodded at each other.
-Back in Alex's room-
He had finished packing and had placed his Browning MM-19 gun in as well as another knife and some bullets. He sighed at his life and lay down on the bed. Without any thoughts, he drifted straight off to sleep. Always on guard though. He had been trained that way and that night, he was safe once more and once more he had escaped the nightmares that normally wait for him.
