"Hmm… This place has quite the interesting nightlife." Tatsuya said.
"Yes. This place has quite the aesthetic. But I think there's more to it than just the night sky." Sachiko said.
"Guys, don't you have a distinct feeling that there's actually something bigger going on here? I mean, the kind of stuff we run into doesn't just happen for no reason." Kasumi said.
"Well, yeah. I've actually been getting that feeling for quite a while now. I mean, the fact that we're all talking to each other like this is kind of a hint. Because Sachiko and I are always off on our own adventures, we never have a chance to interact at all." David said.
"Exactly. And Balan reaches out to those whose hearts are in discord, right?" Kasumi asked. "This is only a theory, but… What if Balan was able to read our hearts and call us all here?"
"You mean… He sensed the discord between us and called us all here just so we'd all have this adventure together?" Rankira asked.
"I mean, it makes sense, doesn't it? We were just in the hallway, talking about where our lives are going to take us, and then we saw his banner outside the classroom. Doesn't that seem strange in the slightest?" Kasumi asked.
"Well, it is true that our bonds have gotten stronger from it, but it could be just a mere coincidence." Akira said.
"No, I think her theory really is plausible." David said. "After all, it's because we all banded together that we've come this far now. Maybe this journey actually did do us good."
"Yes, I agree. It would at least have everything fit together." Ayase said.
The group reached the end of the zone, where they saw a clown in an amusement park meet a girl in a dress walking by. They have such a good time together. However, feelings of love begin to bottle inside the clown known as Attilio Caccini. Unable to face the possibility of rejection, he distances away from her and spirals into a monster with a spherical body.
"Ah, love… Always such a pleasant feeling." Maiko said.
"Yeah. He has no idea what he's throwing away. We have to convince him that he can't run away from his true feelings!" David said.
The group battles it out before they manage to free him, seeing his true face.
"So this is what you look like under there, huh?" Eri asked.
"Yes. I am in love with that princess. But what can I do? What if she rejects me? I can't live with that!" Attilio said.
"Dude, just calm down." David said. "You just need to be yourself."
"Be...myself?" Attilio asked.
"That's right. You'll know if your love is true if you confess using your true face." David said. "Only by expressing it as yourself will you know if she'll accept your feelings!"
Attilio took note of what those words meant and nodded. He takes off his clown mask and heads back, giving her a bouquet of roses, shocking her happily and accepting his feelings during a parade.
"That was very good there. I guess your relationship with Sectonia really did help." Sachiko said.
"Yep. It sure did. I'm happy for the two of us. I was kind of like him once, you know. But once I got my act together, I went for it for real." David said.
"Just like he did once he got his act together. I guess in the end, you need the courage to show your true self to the people around you, instead of just hiding behind a mask you build yourself around." Rankira said.
"That's right. In the end, the mask is only just that, a mask. You must have the courage to show your true self, so that you can live as your true self." Balan said.
"Is something wrong, Balan?" David asked.
"Yes. Do not worry. I am quite alright. Your words just rang home for a moment there." Balan said. "Let us go. There is not much left, so let us venture off together."
