"You can leave too, you aren't needed here anymore" michelle flips the switch of her personality right after Jude left them
"You surprise me everytime I meet you" Lucy stands up, she didn't even have the slightest urge to stay

"Just...don't disappoint dad on the engagement. He has high hopes for you"
"That brat" Michelle clicks her tongue, as lucy leaves
Lucy goes upstairs, stopping before the door at the far end of hallway. She turns around to the opposite door knocking ever so lightly
"Mom...it's me Lucy. Are you-" the door opens
"Lucy? Come in. Cone in" the woman opens the door more revealing herself, in a wheelchair
They hug, talk and spend the only available time they have with each other at moments like these
The lunch was brought to their room and it had everything that lucy loved
"I put something very very yummy in you're car" the old maid says
"Oh nana...why...thank you" lucy hugs her
"Anything for my grandkid and Layla"
Lucy stays until the sun sets, hugging her mom once more "I'll miss you"
"And I'll miss you more" layla runs her hand on Lucy's hair
"I'll see you soon, mom" Lucy leave the room
Getting inside her car, lucy looks back and sees a box packed in pink cloth
"I could smell the Kimchi, nana" Lucy's mouth waters just by smelling
She drives out of the house, going down hill. Joining the main stream of the highway
Their house was out of the city, a mountain full of houses for families like Lucy's
She calls Levy and Juvia but both don't answer, tries Erza who lifts it on the last ring
"Erza hey"
"Lucy? Are you coming back?"
"Yeah, I'm still outside the city though. Might take another hour with the traffic"
"Oh...listen Lucy, be careful when coming okay?"
"I will. Why do you sound so worried?"
"There is a rogue...on the loose"
"Huh? On loose? Is it the one who we caught?"
"Yeah...we don't know how he got out but I think he will be after you. He hurt romeo"
Lucy's breath hitches when she heard the end part but the call disconnects as her mobile dies
"Shit...great timing you son of apple" lucy switches lanes, slowing down and coming to a stop
She plugs in the portable charger but it doesn't switch on, letting it be. Her focus goes back to driving back into civilization

"Her call got disconnected" erza tries calling lucy again
"You said she went home, maybe her phone died" gray says not wanting to bring up bad thoughts
"But we need her to be in contact with us"
"She will be fine, erza. The cops are all around the city" Gray tries to calm her
"See what happens when you mess with things you shouldn't. If only she didn't show herself to him, this wouldn't have happened" Natsu comes out of the hospital room of romeo
"Where are you going?" Gray asks as he removes the scrubs
"To do what we signed up for, I'll call you guys" He grabs his helmet from Erza and leaves
Natsu sits on his bike to start but stops "why am I so worked up? It was her fault anyway" he talks to the air
"Ahh...and here I am thinking you were angry that Romeo got hurt"
"I am!" Natsu shouts at Gray "initially it was our youngest!"
"Sure, sure..." he unlocks his car tight beside "Since you got the bike, go to Lucy while I'll join the search team"
"Huh?" Before natsu processed what gray said, he was left alone "that ice bugger"
Natsu however drives along the roads, that lead outside the city. He checks each and every car that matches to what Erza described
He spots the car at a convenience store, stopped and the engine up in smokes
Natsu stops the bike before the car, looking inside wherein lucy was squeezing the steering hard.
"Heartfilia!" He shouts trying to get her to look at him
"Heartfilia, open the door! It's me!" He shouts again
But Lucy's mind was shutting everything off except her for breathing
"God! Lucy...luCY!" He tries to pull the door open, when she gets paler and paler
Natsu could sense her fear rising, her heart beating fast and her breaths uneven
"Fuck this" he breaks the window behind lucy, unlocking her door
He pulls her out of the car, holding her shoulder for support as she stands weak
"Heartfilia...hey...heartfilia...look at me" he softly calls her "lucy...you are okay. Just take deep breaths"
By the time lucy turns her hazel orbs to him, the sirens of the Ambulance and Cop cars ring loud in her ear
She covers her ears, her eyes shutting tight.
"Stop...plea-please" she mumbles
Natsu panics looking at her but when he understood what she said he hugs her close wrapping his arms around her head to give her extra cover
"Gray...shut of the noise. She is loosing her mind"
The sirens freeze in ice instantly and Gray comes running to them "Is she hurt?"
"We don'- Lucy..?" Natsu pulls away slowly as he feels her weight leaning against him increase
"Go with her, I'll take care of everything here"
Natsu lifts her up in his arms, placing her on the stretcher inside the ambulance and sitting beside the paramedic
