AN: Hey guys, sorry for waiting so long for an update, I just got struck with an epic idea for this story and its motivated me to get to work, so here I am! Anyway, the Special doesn't count towards the plot, so this is technically the 5th chapter, Recovery and Loss! Let's get it underway!

I woke up with something covering my eyes. I know this because, when I opened my eyes, I still couldn't see. I sat up and reached to remove the thing covering my face, only to reveal that it was stuck there by chakra. I heard voices to my left and a light snoring to my right. I closed my eyes again and focused chakra into my ears.

"-still unstable, I don't know if he'll ever be the same, especially since she's gone." Sakura was saying.

"Well, he'll live, and that's what matters. Maybe I can teach him a few jutsu. I know he's going to go after her as soon as possible, and it wouldn't hurt if he learned a little more." Sasuke responded.

"Actually, I think I'll personally oversee his training." Naruto told him. "It'll give me something to do as well, to distract me from..." he stopped talking before he finished his sentence. I heard footsteps approaching from my left. "So, you're awake." Naruto said. I nodded, and felt his hand touch my face where the bandages were, and the bandages fell away. "I opened my eyes and looked at him.

"Who's gone?" I asked him. He looked over his shoulder at Sauske and Sakura sadly. They both nodded. He turned back to me and gulped.

"It's Himawari." He said. "They took her as they were about to leave. Teleported right to my house and nabbed her before leaving the village." He told me sadly. I stared up at him in shock for what seemed like an eternity. I gulped and looked away.

"You... How... What, what happened after I passed out?" I asked turning back to him. He sighed.

"The shorter of the two knelt down beside you, touched your stomach, and made a one-handed seal. He then teleported away and teleported back with Himawari in his hands. He told us that if any of us came close, then he would snap her neck. They both then teleported away. We grabbed you and ran you here. You've been asleep for 2 weeks." He told me. I stared at him in shock

"Two... two weeks?" I asked him dryly. He just nodded. "I looked over to Sasuke and looked back to him. "You can't train me." I told him. "You have a village to run, and it's going to take a lot of training to get me strong enough to be able to get her back." I told him firmly. I then turned to Sasuke. "I accept your offer to train me." I told him. He nodded. Just then Hinata, which was the person to my right that was asleep, jolted awake.

"Wha- Oh, Iwa! You're awake!" She said. She sprang up and hugged me. "I'm so glad you're okay, just imagine if we would have lost you as well!" she sobbed into my shoulder. I hugged her back.

"I'm okay." I told her defiantly. I then got out of bed and saw my usual clothes sitting by my bed. I turned to everyone. "Umm... Will you all please get out?" I asked. They all nodded and left the room as I changed. I looked in the mirror when I was done and saw that some changes had been made to my usual outfit. The normally pure black cloak was now a lava-red, and My shirt was brown, kind of like stone. When I moved in just the right way, it looked as if I had magma flowing down my body.

I pulled my shaggy black hair out of my face and put on my headband. I wiped my eyes again, and the blue seemed to sparkle a little in the mirror, and I looked closer and saw a little bit of green in there that wasn't normally there. At least my black pants weren't damaged. I walked out of the room to everyone except Sauske and Sakura had left. Sakura walked up to me and checked my pulse.

"Just making sure you're stable." she told me, then felt my temperature. After she cleared me to go, I walked t the training field with Sasuke. On our way, I stopped by a shinobi gear shop and bought quite a few swords, maybe 16? I then stored them all in a scroll. I stared at my wallet, which was now empty and sighed.

"What did you do that for?" He asked me. I looked up to him and shrugged as we continued walking.

"Had an idea for a new jutsu, and I need a lot of swords for it." He nodded, and we walked off in silence. After we arrived at the training field, he pulled out two bells.

"I want you to try to get one of these from me." He told me and hooked them onto his belt. "We'll go when I say start. Never go outside 200 feet of this pole, okay?" he asked me. I nodded and got into a battle stance. "Ready," he said, getting into a crouch. "Start!" He called. I immediately jumped back into the trees.

There is no way I can face him in a one-on-one battle. I thought to myself. I'll have to use strategy. Suddenly he was behind me.

"You'll have to do better than that to hide." he told me and kicked me back into the training field. I hit the ground and rolled a few feet before jumping to my feet. I then jumped back a few feet. I pulled out the storage scroll that had the swords in it and pulled two out. I then put up the scroll and picked up the swords. They were transforming swords. You could channel chakra into them to change them from katanas to scimitars and back again. I transformed them both into scimitars and jumped away. I then put a tag around each handle and threw them into the air. I focused chakra into the tag, and the sword floated where it was. I stared at it in shock.

"It worked!" I cried. I then activated my keke genkai and made the swords float around me. Suddenly, I was surrounded by a light blue chakra cloak with teal lines running through it. I looked around myself confused. "Wha-"

"So, which one's the secret jutsu you've been working on?" Sasuke asked me from a tree branch above me. I looked up at him in shock. "Judging by your reaction to the cloak, I think it's safe to say that the swords are the secret jutsu." he said, jumping down from the branch onto the ground beside me. He reached his hand forward at the cloak, and when his fingers contacted it, it sparked and lightly burned his fingertips. He pulled his hand back and looked at his fingers. He then looked back up to the cloak and nodded.

"So… are we continuing the training?" I asked him. He nodded and I instantly jumped away. I then had the swords revolve around me, one horizontally and one at a diagonal angle. I then grabbed the swords and turned them back into katanas. I jumped into the clearing where Sasuke was standing. I then held the sword in my left hand in front of my, sharp end facing him. I flipped the sword in my left hand around, so I was holding it backwards and held it behind me. I crouched.

"Wind Sword Style: Hurricane Dance!" I exclaimed and jumped in the air. I then started spinning fast while channeling wind chakra into my blades. As I was spinning, a tornado appeared around me. I stopped spinning and floated in the middle. I then pulled all the wind into a ball, so instead of a tornado, there was a ball of spinning air around me, moving so fast it was almost invisible. I flipped the sword in my left hand to face forward again. "Water Sword Style!" I shouted. "Water Dragon Dance!" I started flowing my swords around me in a sea serpent style, and suddenly the ball was surrounded by a dragon made of pure water. Then I quickly thrust my swords below me. "Lightning Sword Style: Thunderbird Dance!" I called. Suddenly, the sphere of wind and the water dragon were enveloped in lightning. It even caused the dragon's eyes to glow. Sasuke walked towards me slowly. He then activated his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and his 6-tomoe Rinnegan.

"Chidori!" He yelled as chakra started to flare up around him, lifting his hair a little bit. His hand became cloaked in lightning. He then formed his Susanoo around him. After it was fully formed, he summoned both of his blades, and they both became cloaked in lightning. He lifted one of the blades and swung it down quickly at me. I dissipated my sword style jutsus so I landed on the ground. I then lunged away from his sword. I closed my eyes to focus chakra into my legs.

Focus it into your whole body. said a voice in my mind. I opened my eyes.

"What?" I asked, looking around, confused.

I'm in here, dipshit. said the voice again.

"In where?" I asked, still looking around, both of my swords at the ready.

Your head, dumbass. Now hurry up and get in here. Responded the voice. I closed my eyes and imagined a large field. Instead, I ended up in a dungeon with cells lining the walls. I looked around, confused. Back here, you moron. The voice said again. It seemed to echo on for eternity. I turned around and what I saw made me fall over. Standing there was a giant, light blue, almost teal wolf. It was easily as big as Kurama, if not bigger. I looked to see if it had more than one tail, and I was relieved to see it didn't.

"Who are you?" I asked, looking at it with a puzzled expression on my face.

I am all your fears incarnate, blah blah blah, just shut up and listen. You want to beat this guy, right? Also, stop calling me an it, I'm he, dipshit. He said, snarling.

"Sorry. I don't really want to beat him; this is just training." I told him. He looked at me as if I was crazy.

Train? He asked incredulously. Hahahahahahahaha, don't make me laugh brat. He spat at me, still snarling.

"I'm the brat?" I asked, offended. "You're the one hitching a ride!"

I said to shut the fuck up and fucking listen to me you dipshit! He roared at me.

"Nah." I told him simply, putting my hands behind my head. I wanted to see how pissed I could get him, don't blame me. It's not like he can hurt me, he's sealed up.

The fuck you say to me you little shit?! I'm stronger than mother fucking Kurama, you hear me? He roared.

"Stronger than Kurama?" asked a voice behind me. I wheeled around and saw Sasuke standing there. "I've seen what Kurama can do and judging by the amount of chakra you have to him; I would say he is easily superior." Sauske said, walking up to the cell that held the beast.

Stay back! Snarled the beast. He crouched lo and back. I'm warning you! He roared. Suddenly his one tail split into... eleven?! I turned to Sasuke. I saw that he was looking the beast in the eye as he steadily approached, and something seemed off. I realized it right before Sasuke touched the cell bars.

"Sasuke!" I cried, tackling him into the ground. He didn't have his Sharingan or Rinnegan active. He looked at me, utterly pissed.

"YOU BRAT!" he roared in the beast's voice. "LET ME GO!" he roared again. I grabbed his face and slammed the back of his head into the ground, knocking him out. I then turned to the beast.

YOU INSOLENT PIECE OF SHIT! I'LL TEAR YOU TO SHREADS! YOU FUCKING HEAR ME, YOU LITTLE SHIT?! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU! BUT I'LL START WITH YOUR FRIEND FIRST! He roared and started laughing like a maniac. One of his tails disappeared, and suddenly Sasuke was surrounded by a one-tailed teal chakra cloak with a malicious look I his eye. He advanced towards me slowly.

"Now, you BURN!" shouted Sasuke in the beast's voice and activated his EMS (Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan) and his Rinnegan. "Amaterasu!" He roared in the beast's voice again. He went through some hand seals and launched black fire all over the 'prison' that was my mindscape.
