(When Naruto is old enough to go to ninja school, instead of allowing Naruto to live on his own because he's now somewhat self sufficient he offers Naruto a home with him)

"Sarutobi what is the meaning of this?!" Looking up from the ever persistent evil that is paperwork, the Third Hokage looked up to see his advisers Koharu and Homura as well as Danzo for some reason. "You'll have to clarify what it is that seems to have you up in a fuss", asserted the Third Hokage. "We're speaking on the fact that you have seen fit to house the jinchuriki without our knowledge or permission!" Homura huffed. Nodding Koharu added, "It is also a problem from a legal standpoint as well. It is against the law for one clan to adopt an orphaned clan kid due to the political remificati-" "First, I am well aware of the laws given that I helped to create and enforce all of them. Second, you seem to be under the misunderstanding that I am required to inform you of everything or need your permission for anything. That is a dangerous mindset to develop and I recommend you seek medical help before it becomes an issue", the Third Hokage chided softly.

"Of course Lord Hokage. My compatriots meant no disrespect I'm sure. They are merely...frazzled over the problems that are sure to arise with you breaking your own laws", Danzo cautioned as he shot a look at both Homura and Koharu. "I see, well then I suppose I should alleviate these concerns. I have not broken any laws of any sort. What I have done is offered Naruto, the child of family friends and Clan Allies as well as my unfortunately deceased successor, an open invitation to live with me and my clan as a welcomed guest. If you had had faith in me or even looked at the facts of the situation clearly instead of jumping to assumptions, I would not have needed to enlighten you" the Third Hokage corrected.

"Yes well", Homura fumbled with his glasses briefly to gain his barring from the embarrassment he felt. Koharu looked as if she disagreed, Danzo however, "Be that as it may, it looks as if you've adopted him and the public will not accept that".

"The public has no bearing on what I decide to do personally, and will either get over it or accept what I order them to as is expected of them", the Third Hokage responded disinterestedly. "It is not the people's fault they rightfully fear the thing. And it does not change the fact that as your advisers you should have come to us with this idea so that we could determine the best route to utilize", Koharu objected. "You can't just make these sorts of decisions yourself! After all, if it was merely to look after the jinchuriki to ensure it grew into a properly powerful weapon it should have been given to me", Danzo commented. "You either listen to us now as you should've before it came to this or there will be problems. That thi-jinchuriki cannot be allowed to live with a Clan Family, it was already decided, and you are a Clan Head!"

There was a moment of silence.

With a sarcastic smirk he gave his retort, "I'm also the Hokage and you've gotta deal with it. Or die. You're allowed to choose in this case".
