Lucy curses as she treats a wound on a patient

"Lucy? Are you done? We are gonna be late for class"
"Yeah I am" honey laced in her voice
Leaving the cabin, she and Jay hopped on the car. Dropping her head to the window, blinking back the tears pooling
Its been a week, ever since the kiss and Natsu was ignoring her. More like avoiding, he didn't pick her up, nor did he come to their group hangout, saying he was busy with work
She thought of all the possibilities but nothing came up to her. Why would he do this?
Attending her class with the same disturbed mind
while waiting for the bus to go home, a red chiron stops before her; she didn't bother to look at it fully
But the honking does, the windows rolled down
"Luce!"
"Why are you here?" She crosses her arms looking at him as handsome as ever
"To pick you up"
She didn't want to go, but her body didn't listen which already holding door
"And you aren't busy today?" She adjusts turning to him, inches away
His hand go over her pulling the seat belt over to click it below
The ride was silent, back like the first time they used to go
Stopping right infront of the gate, Lucy's hands fly to the seat belt to unbuckle
"I think we should stop..." he starts
She freezes
"Ar-are you just playing hard to get?" Lucy laughs dryly "natsu-"
"No, we shouldn't have started this in the first place. This game or whatever, let's stop..everything"
"What happened natsu? You took a week ignoring me an-"
"Yes, It was a mistake okay?" He exhales "that is why...I'm ending it"
"But I like-"
"Why? Because I'm handsome, smart and got the cliché vibe from a comic? Wake up, lucy thi-"
"Because you're natsu" she cuts him "and the more we met, I fell for you more and more but where is all of this coming from?"
"No I'm not, I'm a bloodsucker who could suck it even out of you"
"But you didnt" she unbuckles turning in her seat "im giving myself to you too natsu, you just charmed me like I'm the easiest thing on earth"
"Not my fault is it?"
"You saved me so many times, helped me, drove me around. After all these, do you-"
"Lucy"
"I thought we would get closer but it drew us further huh?" She sighs opening the door
Turning to the side "I though I could really have on person on my side other than my friends but nevermind, I'm used to being pushed around"
He could see her tears shinning from the lamppost, her trembling hands
"Lucy i-"
"Dont want to meet anymore. Okay"
She doesn't slam the door for which natsu prepares
Lucy closes it as soft as she opened it, the little whimpering loud in natsu's ears
