Lucy was not walking, she was sprinting. Away from the house, through the streets passing by everything in a blur
"Ah, stupid...stupid...ah...why did you come out?" She keeps hitting he head
A car honks from a corner which brings her out of the daze
"Shit where am i" she turns round and round, patting her jeans for the phone which was buzzing with calls on Erza's couch
"Ahhh...what do I do?" She walks back the way she thinks she came in
She was going around in circles now, the houses were all surrounded by large walls that were painted in same color
She bumps into someone, muttering a quick sorry and walking away
But the person doesn't, he looks at her confused and steps toward her
"Excuse me..." he calls, hands raised to her shoulder "are you lo-"
"Belle!" Natsu shouts not far away, she runs to him
The man drops his hands, taking off his hoodie, eyes wide at Natsu. He turns away, pulling his hoodie back on
"Ah ah...sorry sorry please don't be mad" she says before natsu could even open his mouth
"I'm not mad, I was worried" he holds her hands
"Sorry that I ran out of the house"
"Stop saying sorry, let's go back ho-wait, did you meet anyone just now?"
"No...I was just walking around"
Natsu sniffs again, the wood scent gave him nostalgic memory of certain someone
No way, no no no...I must be confused he thinks, holding Lucy and walking away

"Confused. The scent memory can't last this long...for you" gray turns his head to the prof at last part
"Did you ask her properly? What if she bumped into him instead?" His hands busy doodling
"Ah, she could've brush past them too...she did zoom out of the house"
"Why wou-Do you really not like her natsu?"
"I told erza, I'm not gonna repeat. Let's focus on college for a while?" Natsu opens his notes and the professor mutters a thank you switching off the projector
"Don't ever say things like that again" gray sniffles a laugh
The two bicker back and forth going to the cafeteria.
"We have nothing to do these day, how about we go for a trip?" Gray says as they sit in a corner table
"Trip? I was talking about it yesterday with lucy too" erza says, sitting before them
Natsu looks at his phone, ignoring the two. His though were still on the morning situation
How can I get confused? Its the scent I grew up with. I can't just forget it over years
He starts to text his dad about something that seems totally possible and impossible.

"I'm sorry but sire...he was right next to her" the man who bumped into lucy bows his head low
"And you have enough power to kill him" the man walks around his chair, his black cape flying out
"Im-im sor-sorry..." his voice shaky
"Do you know...what precious chance you missed!?" He says through clenched teeth, grabbing his neck and bending his body
"I will bring her. Just please...please forgive me this one time" he pleads
"And the last time" he pauses him away "I need her here"
The scared vampire opens the door to step out
"Without a single scratch, understood?"
"Yes sire"
The man inside the lone room, claws his throat at the mere thought of lucy, he walks over to a box.
Black veins popping around his neck and hands, his eyes flashing red
Opening and drinking blood from glass vials, the veins dying down slowly, he grips the table sighed at the empty spots of the vials.
