Chapter 2: The Discovery
Later that night, Ashley and the Warner Siblings were asleep in bed when the door began getting banged on. Groaning, Ashley got out of bed and answered the door. Brain was standing there, seemingly panicking. "Hey, what happened?" Dot asked. Brain ran in and jumped onto a nearby table.
"Pinky, he's-he's GONE!" Brain cried, almost unable to be understood. "Calm down! We can't understand you!" Dot said, stroking the shaky mouse to calm him down. " Pinky is GONE! CAN YOU UNDERSTAND ME NOW?! Brain screamed. "Okay calm down Brain. How can you-" Wakko was cut off when Brain started sobbing.
"WE GOTTA DO SOMETHING!" Ashley cried. "She's right. If someone dangerous is roaming around, Pinky is in danger!" Wakko said. "Hmmmmm. What if maybe it was Alva's cronies?" Yakko suggested. "Or was it, ALVA HIMSELF!" A voice boomed. Brain and the children looked to the roof and it began cracking. Ashley grabbed Wakko and Yakko grabbed Dot.
Alva flew into the room, but something about him was different. He was transparent. "Alva's ghost. Crud." Ashley muttered. She stepped forward in front of everyone in defense. "Alright Alva, I don't know what you're doing here but you will LEAVE! NOW!" She yelled. "Now now my dear. We mustn't get worked up." Alva said.
"WORKED UP?! If anything, YOU KIDNAPPED MY BEST FRIEND!" Brain shouted, stepping forward. "Me? Oh I wouldn't put it that way. But then again, I did have a part in it!" He said, holding up a cage with Pinky in it!
"Let him GO!" Ashley and Brain shouted, catching Pinky's attention. "Never!" Another voice replied, chilling Ashley to the bone. "Father." She muttered. Her father appeared, which was easy to be seen as his transparent appearance stood out in the moonlit sky.
"You're "friend" will be perfectly fine." Travis said with quotation marks around friend, angering Brain even more. And with that, the two men flew off with Pinky.
"Well, WHAT DO WE DO NOW?!" Yakko asked. Ashley thought for a while, ignoring her brother's frustrated and concerned rampage around the tower. But, as if an angel had spoken to her, she got an idea.
"I have an idea. You guys can see those marks in the sky right?" Ashley said. "Yeah. What are those?" Wakko said. "Those are what plans emit from their engines(I think) when they're flying. Alva and my father must have escaped with a plane!" Ashley replied.
"Well what are we waiting for? Lets go!" Dot and Brain said simultaneously. And with that, the group headed off to rescue their friend from a gruesome end.
Meanwhile…
"YES! Destroy him!" Travis yelled. Mr. Itch yanked the chain even more, sending Pinky into even more pain than before. "Stop! We need enough of him to bury at least!" Alva finally shouted.
Mr. Itch gladly untied Pinky and threw him back into the cage. "We'll make sure we can bury him, right boys?" Mr Itch said. "Right!" The ghostly characters said. The three non-human figures took off laughing.
"Brain, wherever you are, please hurry." Pinky said, the tears in his energetic blue eyes ripping onto the floor of the cage.
