As I ran into the woods I transformed into the wolf side of me. Now all of the voices of the pack were in my head.

"Ooo" Paul thought. "Jacob finally has a girlfriend." I spotted him in the trees and went for a silent attack. "Owch, ok, ok. I'm done teasing you." Paul rolled his eyes. I heard more voices, and a wolf like snicker behind the trees.

"Get out of here Embry!" I snarled. I just couldn't handle another embarrassment in front of Renesmee. There was no way. Last time was bad enough. But as soon as I thought that, Embry just had to bring it up.

"Oh come on guys." I thought. "Do you have to make me miserable?"

I ran to Renesmee's house because she said that she had a surprise. She had just finished school for the day, and it was me who was alone. Except for everyone who is in my head.

"But Jake," whined Leah. "You are perfect for each other. Who cares what Edward thinks. You know that she wants you." She teased. She knew perfectly well that if I didn't follow the rules, that Edward would have my head.

I arrived at Bella's house a minute later, then when Renesmee came out, I laid down in my wolf form. I had promised her that she could ride me again, and later I was taking her cliff jumping. She was so excited that she forgot her shoes. As she ran up to me with superhuman speed, I licked her feet. When she laughed and looked down, she ran back inside to get her shoes. I snickered. When I heard the sound of footsteps, I stood up, on high alert. My ears perked up. The sound was getting louder.

"Calm down Jake. It's just Bella and me." Edward said. "Seriously Jacob, you have to calm down. I get that she's the most important thing to you, same here with her and Bella. But you can protect her. Just take a chill pill." He said. This was the first time that he had actually given me a compliment, other than protecting people. This really weirded me out.

I changed back to my normal form, but when I tried grabbing my pants, Renesmee was already by my side.

"Shit." I said. How was that girl so sneaky?

"Language Jacob." Bella warned.

I turned back into a wolf, then Renesmee climbed up on my back. Bella scolded me for a little bit, then Edward was the one who pulled her back. This was getting even more strange. What was happening with Edward? Edward winked at me knowingly. I hated how he did that.

Later that day, it was just Edward waiting for us. Bella must have gone hunting. Renesmee was asleep on my back, so when I came to the house, I had to yell out my thoughts. Edward came out and grabbed Renesmee off my back. When he came back, he definitely had to say something to me.

"Jacob, don't take this the wrong way, but Renesmee is starting to experience feelings." He said this so easily, that I didn't even know what he was talking about for a couple seconds. I shook my head then I listened more. "I've been keeping it from Bella because she would probably try to kill you again. She's been having some dreams about you. It started a couple days ago, but this is why I'm being so nice to you. Sorry, I can hear what you're thinking right now." He said with a smug smile on his face. "Come inside. She's whispering for you." He laughed. I changed and ran to Renesmee.

"Hey baby girl." I started. "You finally awake?" I laughed.

"Mmhm." She nodded. She moved to the side, so then I could sit. I sat down, and then I picked up her latest book.

"So do you like this book? Um, why's it called Uglies, by Scott Westerfeld?" Then it got into a long conversation about all the books, and then she told me that it was her third time reading it. How was she so smart? She asked me to read, but after just one chapter, she was totally asleep. I moved quietly and gently, then I kissed her head.

This felt like tourture. I really loved her. Why did she not have to be fully developed. This sucked.

"Goodnight Jacob." Edward said.

"Bite me." I thought.

"No thanks. Not my taste." He laughed. I accidentally slammed the door too hard.

Present day

"Ugh, why did I have to transform in front of her." I thought.

I kept running to my house, but when I finally came, there was a car outside of my cabin. When I changed back, I looked into the car. A carseat and my sister's sunglasses were on the chair. Ohh, my sister brought my niece to my house. But how did she get a key? Great, the door mat that hid my key was rolled up. Rachel knew me so well. So well, that it got annoying quickly.

As I walked into the house, my niece, Alexis, ran up to me.

"Oof. Oh hey girly." I laughed. I heard whimpering down the hall and wondered what was wrong. "Rachel? Is that you?" I called. I heard more whimpering. "I'm coming, Rachel." I yelled. I was starting to really get worried. When I finally got to the living room where Rachel was, I found her on my couch. "Rach! What's wrong." I ran and jumped onto the couch next to her.

"Well I found out something today. I'm pregnant." She said it like it was a bad thing though. "But since I'm almost over 35, the baby would have a higher chance of having health risks. What will happen then?" Then she burst into tears. I felt happy that she was going to have another kid, but I felt her pain.

As I wrapped my arm around Rachel when the doorbell rang. I ran up to get it and it was Renesmee. She rushed in with superhuman speed. She ran to Rachel's side and checked her pulse.

"What are you doing here? What's wrong?" I asked after seeing her face.

"Alice sent me." She said. "She had another vision. Something's wrong with the baby."
