The Shower gave him a boost in waking up, the cold water soothing his muscles, relieving part of the tension.
What is going to happen today? Aizawa sensei definitely didn't seem angry when he was explaining to us what to do before our first day back, but then again, he was extremely good at hiding his emotions. He is a hero after all and the best heroes never show when they are feeling angry or scared. They always try to look happy and calm to help settle the public, like All-Might.
The scent of his Lynx shower gel drifts through the air to his nostrils. Just the smell of a male's body wash is enough to make his heart race.
It smells just like Kacchan. He uses so much strong scented deodorant and he showers every day. How he smells seems to be the only thing that Kacchan is self conscious about. Because of his quirk Kacchan thinks that he sweats more than everyone else, therefore making him smell in his head, but that's not true. Kachan always smells slightly sweet to me, and Todoroki-kun almost smells like tangy spun sugar. I have been able to smell peoples 'aura' since I was 4.
Izuku had later on explained this to All Might who took him to recovery girl. She then explained that the testing Izuku did when he was younger was faulty. After that he was taken to be tested again. One month later he was called back to recovery girl's office, where everything was explained. He does in fact have a quirk, one called 'Sweet Scent'. It was described to him as having a sense of smell that smells normal things at a human level but he can 'smell' the soul of any living being. This came as a huge shock as Izuku had always thought of himself as a useless, quirkless idiot. They had decided between themselves that it was best to keep his quirk secret though as it would cause a lot of questions if people realize that he has 2 quirks. He might even be targeted by villains.
He gets out of the shower and starts to get changed when his phone vibrates. It is a text from Todoroki.
'Hello Midoriya'
'Hi Todoroki-kun'
'Didn't I ask you to call me Shoto?'
'I will only call you Shoto if you call me Izuku.'
'Okay then, but your name is a little long. How about Izu?'
'Sure, that sounds fine Sho-chan.'
'Sho-chan?'
'Yeah, is that ok?'
'Nope, it's fine. By the way, would you like to walk to school with me today?'
'Eh? I mean sure, if you want :)'
'Ok, I am walking to your house now. See you in 5.'
*Todoroki is now offline*
*Izuku is now offline*
"5 minutes!" Izuku yells. God, why does he have to live so close?! Grabbing his books and stuffing them in his bag which he slings over his shoulder as he runs downstairs, bumping into his mum.
"Izu, you're up early! There is some fresh fruit on the table if you would like some. Also your lunch is on the kitchen side, put as much fruit as you want in it as well!"
"Thanks Mum! Love you!"
"Love you too hun, take care walking to school!" Running to the table Izuku grips an apple between his teeth as he tries to shove a banana in his packed lunch as the doorbell rings.
"I'll get it!" Shouts his Mum from the hallway.
"Oh hi Shoto darling! I am guessing that you are here to pick up Izuku?"
"I am Ma'am, I would also like to thank you again for the katsudon yesterday, It was the best thing I have ever tasted!"
"Good to know hun, why don't you come over again sometime soon? I have plenty more recipes that you are going to love! In fact it would be lovely to have Katsuki over at the same time!"
"That would be lovely! I can't wait!" Izuku finishes stuffing his lunch box into his bag and runs towards the front door.
"Hi Sho-chan! Mum, you better not have been questioning him!"
"I wasn't hun, don't worry! I was just asking if he and Katsuki would like to come over for dinner one day." She says, winking at Izuku.
"Aaah Mum! Why would you do that?" He whines, covering his face with one hand and holding his apple in his other.
"Lets go Sho-chan!" He says, grabbing Todoroki's hand whilst pulling him through the door.
"Bye Mum! Love you!" He shouts backwards, turning slightly to see his mothers smile. Their run slows to a walk as they move further away from his house.
"Izu, why are we holding hands? And what is that you have there?" Todoroki asks timidly, nodding towards the apple in Izuku's other hand, a blush creeping across his cheeks.
"Ah! Omg Im so sorry! I only meant to pull your wrist to lead you out of the door!" Izuku blushes, attempting to pull his hand away.
"Wait no!" Todoroki says, "I like it! If that is ok with you?"
"Ehh? Oh sure, if you want. Hang on, you don't know what an apple is?!"
"An apple? Oh, nope, well I mean we never managed to experience many different foods as kids. Well, it's still the same now. We were given food that we needed to survive and I was given extra protein to help with my training but that's it. We were never allowed sweets."
"No way?! Ok.. an apple is a kind of fruit, cisp and sweet. The flesh inside is white. You can try some if you would like!" Izuku says, holding out his perfectly red apple which had a bite missing out of it.
"Really? Thank you!" Todoroki takes a bite out of the apple in the same area that Izuku had. Was this an indirect kiss? Brushing off the thought, he thinks about Shoto's aura. His and Katsuki's aura both had individual smells, like everyone else, but there is something else that they both share. There is almost a gold shimmer that radiates off both of them. He has never seen that with anyone else apart from those two before. He is broken from his thoughts by Shoto speaking.
"This is so good! I've never had anything like it before!"
"You can have it if you would like it, it is pretty amazing isn't it?"
"Really? Thank you so much!" Shoto is beaming so much that it is almost funny. A small giggle escapes from Izuku's rest of the walk to school was peaceful. Even though the sun has already risen, it gives the sky an orange that radiates warmth in the light spring breeze. U.A. is growing in the distance as they continue walking, until Shoto stops them both underneath a cherry blossom tree, the petals floating to the ground around them.

I should probably tell Izuku about my feelings now, before the chaos of the day. But why is it so hard to do this? It's just a couple of words, it's not like their gonna change the world. But then again, depending on what Izuku says it might change my world.
Stopping under a cherry blossom he looks at Izuku with a nervous face.
This isn't going to be easy, I already know that Bakugou likes Izuku as well, and to be honest, it kind of hurts. I also kind of like Bakugou. I want both of them to myself, but unfortunately that can't happen. So I have decided to ask Izuku instead, I feel my Dad would hate Izuku the most, and my feelings are stronger for him than Bakugou.
"I-Izu, you see the thing is…" He pauses, thinking. "Ah, could you possibly buy me some more apples sometime?"
Now probably isn't the time. Depending on what Aizawa has planned for us, I might need to work with him soon, and if I am rejected then it might make things awkward. Yeah, it's best to leave it for now. It is probably better to wait till we know what we are doing over the next couple of months. If needs be, until graduation.
"Huh,sure!" Izuku looks puzzled, almost as if he knows Todoroki has something else to say. They continue walking, school is getting closer by the second.
"... I think we should stop holding hands now, I don't want people to get the wrong idea."
"Oh, sure!" Izuku says letting go of his hand, the warmth disappearing. They catch sight of Katsuki standing by the school gates, staring at them.
"Hey damn nerds, you better not have been doing any of that lovey dovey shit, or i'll have to blast you into the next universe!"
"No, we weren't Katsuki. You must be seeing things." Shoto says, winking at Katsuki who blushes.
"Tch whatever, let's just go to class."
*Katsuki Bakugou*
Katsuki opens the classroom door and walks in.
Tsk. The only people here already are frog face, round cheeks, teachers' pet and eye bags. (Translation: Tsuyu, Ochako, Momo and Shinsuo). Eye bags is leaning on his desk asleep, and the rest of em are talking to each other. No loss there. The teacher is in his cocoon, fast asleep as well.
He grunts, walks over to his desk and sits down.
I would never actually admit it to anyone, but i have liked Icy-hot and deku for a while now. deku since we were kids and Icy-hot since our second year at school. It hurt to see them walking to school hand in hand. I should have known I wouldn't have a chance. Icy-hot has never looked my way until a couple of weeks ago and I bullied deku so why the hell would he want to date me? But then what the hell was Icy-hot doing winking at me earlier? Isn't he dating deku? You know what, it doesn't matter. The only thing that should matter to me is graduating and becoming the No.1 hero, not some stupid feelings that will just probably get my heart broken.
*Izuku Midoriya*
Both Kacchan and Sho-chan's aura seem different. On their own they both have a gold glow about them, but something else happens when all three of them are together. If Izuku was to walk up to Kacchan and Sho-chan whilst they were talking to each other, the second they noticed him, their aura turned a dark pink/red. The same thing happens when Sho-chan walks up to him and Kacchan and vice versa.
I wonder what it is about? Maybe it has something to do with friendship? Or what about happiness? It is all very strange. But whenever I am around Sho-chan or Kacchan my mood always seems to be lifted. They could always make me happy before they realised I wasn't. They make my heart race, even when we are just sitting together not saying a word, like now.
Still, the main problem right now is what Mr Aizawa and Principle Nezu have planned for us. But then again, it couldn't be that bad could it? Especially if I am still allowed to see Kacchan and Sho-chan, meaning whatever it is it will just be a chance to learn something else. Something that will only help me in the future.
Or at least that is what he looks up to see Kacchan looking at him.
"Whats up nerd? You look kinda worried."
"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine. I'm just kinda nervous."
"Nervous? Why? Scarf dude isn't gonna give us some crazy assignment that is gonna get us killed or summat. You shouldn't worry." (This is bakugou being a huge softy for Izuku ;)) Kacchan gives him a soft smile and ruffles his hair softly.
"Eek," Kacchan looks away, flustered at the noise that escapes Izuku's lips.
"Hm, so your hair is your soft spot then? I will have to remember that." He turns back to his desk and starts to get his books out. Of course, Kacchan has to be right. It's not like Aizawa would give them a dangerous assignment is it? Speak of the devil. Izuku looked around to see Aizawa walking into the classroom. He must have exited when he wasn't looking, and everyone was in class now as well. Aizawa walks up to the front of the classroom and stops to give everyone a once over. The class hangs in silence.
"Good morning everyone. It is good to see you lot again, even though I would prefer to be asleep right now, but I hope you are all ready to start your last few months at U.A. You're all probably wondering why you have been asked to pack your bags again this year but you haven't been put in dorms. Well, you are all going to be.."
