Michael, Sophie, Joseph, some humans, and Zootopias best officers, including Nick and Judy, all sat in a secret meeting room one floor below the main floor of the ZPD building. Chief Bogo placed a bunch of documents on the meeting table and a human police officer placed a holo-tablet on the table with documents downloaded onto it. A long ten seconds of silence flew throughout the room. Only Chief Bogos stressed and serious breath was heard. "I will go through what Officer Delgado sent me a couple days ago to confirm that this event will happen to us. Then, you will go next." The officer nodded. Bogo began to go through his documents.
"Several days ago," Bogo started. "Delgado stepped into my officer with a receipt for multiple assault rifles and explosive equipment. This was out of the ordinary due to the fact that only I receive the receipt in order to confirm the purchase. I haven't purchased any equipment and I have never received a receipt. It turns out that the individual behind this purchase hacked into multiple bank accounts from officers here and bought the equipment. We are unable to trace the person behind this."
Michael was writing down notes as the exchange of information happened. Although it's not recommended and he doesn't need to know this information. Sophie and Joseph just sat there, listening to the meeting. Michael knew that Joseph was half awake. Joseph doesn't like meetings like this. Michael lightly stomped on Joseph's foot, pulling him away from his trance. Joseph nodded a thank you. "Officer, you go next." Bogo invited the human officer to speak. The human officer picked up the tablet and quickly scrolled through each document.
"A couple days before the incident," the human officer began. "A chief officer was informed that several police officers have bought multiple guns and explosives. After speaking to all the officers involved, no one didn't admit to it. So the chief did more searching, which involved the IT industry. Turns out, the officers accounts were hacked by an unknown person. Searched have failed because the person hid their identity."
Chief Bogo flipped through the documents in front of him and leaned forward onto the table. "I don't know how this disaster is going to happen and neither do you, humans." Chief Bogo stood up straight and walked towards the white board behind him. "We must develop a plan and fast before it's too late." Bogo looked back at the blank faces staring at him. "Any ideas?" The room was silent. Nobody knew what to do. The city of Zootopia never experience the disaster of 2025, neither did the humans of the 2100 generation.
At first he didn't know what to do, but then, Michael felt the cogs turn in his head. He remembered the time where the dumbass Tripod operator zapped his body into dust. Although his body turned into nothing but a dust pile, the ground was intact, the terraforming ray didn't damage the ground at all. That's it! If Michael could somehow get the smaller, more precise, terraforming ray guns off the tripod, he could devastate the terrorists and save the targeted neighbourhood. Michael shot up and explained his idea to Bogo.
Sierra got off of the city bus and walked home, lonely, broken, and miserable. The person she loved and cared for the most, Justin, was cheating on her for quite a while. But why? Why didn't he tell her about it. Sierra would feel devastated if Justin broke up with her but she would definitely understand his reason. And why would Justin be with such a bitch? Sierra turned onto her suburban road and walked passed Cassidy's house. "Sierra!" Cassidy called out as she made quick pace down the stairs. Sierra turned around, upset.
"Shit, what happened to you?" Cassidy asked.
"A friendly dispute." Sierra replied in a low tone.
"Doesn't sound friendly to me."
Sierra mumbled to herself.
"Are you ok?" Cassidy asked Sierra with concern.
"Just leave me alone."
Cassidy knew not to question Sierra any further and walked back to her house. Sierra turned around and walked to her house. As she walked, she regretted acting so negative. Cassidy was only making sure she was ok and didn't mean to get on her nerves. But that regret turned into more anger. Anger to herself and at Cassidy. Sierra should've just said she wasn't interested in talking but Cassidy should've saw Sierra's face and leave her be. Sierra was on the verge of tears and seeing her parents react to her scratch mark and negative attitude will break the dam.
Nick and Judy offered Michael a ride to the cargo and transport hub being built just south of Zootopia. Paul was in his physical form to help detach the micro-terraforming ray guns off one of the tripods. For safety reasons involving another disaster late in the year 2070 on earth, a worker detached a heat ray off of the newly delivered tripod from the aliens. As he took it off, the ray activated and blasted multiple warehouses. No explosives were hit but multiple workers were killed. Let's just say his boss wasn't giving him slack after that.
Once arrived at the hub, Michael and Zootopias finest walked towards the construction site. All the Tripods were parked and the operators were taken out of the cockpit. Nick and Judy were asked to step back 100 metres from the Tripod in case something goes wrong. If Nick and Judy died, they can't get revived from the revive system. Paul hovered towards the Connection Console that was wired to one of the Tripods arms. Michael connected a wire to one of Paul's ports and a screen blinked up in front of him.
"The only thing you will be connected to is the arm and only the arm. All other devices and parts are closed off. It's not that we don't trust you, it's that we don't trust you." Michael informed Paul. "Oh you cheeky fuh-" Paul was cut off by Michael pressing the "Confirm" button on the screen. Paul's screen and lights dimmed with the tripOD system logo showing on the screen. The Tripod arm began to move. The micro-terraforming ray gun began to light up. "There's no energy in this, right?" Michael asked one of the engineers. The engineer shrugged.
Once it got close, Michael grabbed the tentacle looking arm. The arm was big enough to fully grasp with his hand. Michael motioned the engineer to start unscrewing the gun. He then motioned everyone else to get the hell away from the guns path. As the engineer began unscrewing, a pop up on Paul's screen warned that the gun is not secure. Michael ignored it as this was something he wanted to hear. Soon, the final screw detached and Michael felt the weight of the gun in his hands. It was heavy but just light enough for Michael to hold in both his hands.
Paul booted back up to his sentient state. He looked at Michael with disgust. Michael shrugged and smirked at him. With the gun in Michael's hands, preparations are complete. All he can do is hope that everything comes to plan. "You better not fuck this up." Paul told Michael. Judy added, "Paul's right. The citizens lives rest in your hands now." Michael felt sick but he managed to keep everything down. "I got it covered. They will never know what hit them."
Sierra entered the house, waiting for her parents and grandpa to come to her in concern. She didn't like being asked questions or talked to when she was upset. It made things worse. She opened the front door and expected her mother or father to welcome her. No one was home. Not even Hunter. She looked at the dining room table and found a note:
Hi Sierra,
We are going to the rain Forest to go for some sight seeing. If we aren't home by 10, we are probably staying at a hotel.
Love you, mom
That note warmed Sierra's heart. It made her feel better from the incident back at the video game store. Sierra placed the note back onto the table and walked upstairs to her room. She placed her purse onto her dresser and plopped onto the bed. Silence filled her head... "Fuck Justin." She said to herself. "If he wants to date a bitch, he can go the hell ahead." Sierra opened the messaging app on her phone and blocked Justin's number. No way will she ever friend someone who has lied to her for six months.
Sierra got back up and looked out her window. It was the evening but the sun was about to set. Some kids were still playing on the street. "I should apologize to Cassidy." Sierra thought. "It wasn't her fault that she bothered me." Before Sierra walked away, she focused on a vehicle across the road. It was a black van. It was one of those vans that she saw the other day. What really caught her attention is it stayed there for a long time. Usually it would leave the street in an hour or so. This time, it was left there for 2 days.
