After Amity had been kidnapped, Luz and her friends had run back to The Owl House as fast as they could.
"Amity was kidnapped by the Emperor's Coven!" said Luz as the three ran into the house.
"What?!" asked Eda and Lilith who had been playing cards in the living room along with King.
"Why would they take her?" asked Lilith as she stood up.
"For ransom, the person who took her told us to come to the Emperor's Coven with a way to get the portal to the human world working or we'll never see her again," said Willow.
"That's going to be a problem," said a worried Eda who just continued to sit on the couch but now was avoiding eye contact with the others.
"You don't know the spell, do you?" asked Gus. Everyone's eyes were on her by this point.
"The door was a gift from a friend who came from the human world years ago, she crafted it herself and put her own magic into the thing and never told me how she made it," said Eda.
"You had met another human?" asked a shocked Luz.
"It was shortly after I had been cursed and ran away, she appeared while I was held up in the woods, she called herself Azura," said Eda.
"What?!" asked Luz who was even more shocked to hear this.
"That's right kid, the Azura books are all real, and I'm even in them," said Eda.
"You're Hecate," said Luz with a look of realization.
"That's right, and Azura is back in your world with no way of me getting in contact with her so we're on our own," said Eda.
"This is all interesting and all, but what are we going to do about Amity?" asked Lilith.
"We'll do whatever it takes to get her back," said Luz with a series expression.
