I was thinking about doing random chapters of Ellie and Joel living in the Community in Jackson, I'm not sure how many chapters I will do but there will be random stories. There will be different events and holidays they may celebrate has a community, but be warned people who are sensitive... there maybe horror in some chapters.
I thought I'd begin where Ellie and Joel arrive at the Jackson Community, then we can venture through the years until the present day game. I finished the game now, it was a different. If anyone would like to discuss the game my dms are open.
I'm beginning the heartbreak parts now, I'm not going to cover everything in the game. I have ideas about flashbacks and Ellie's journey to find Abby, I'll even write about the farm. We'll see where these ideas go, maybe I'll try to give Ellie some kind of an happy ending.
-The Last Of Us is owned by Naughty Dog/ Sony Computer Entertainment
-Some of the parts of this fanfiction are in the game, other parts aren't in the game.
- Sorry for the late update, I've been busy - My laptop charger is broken, so I've got to type my fanfictions on my phone from now on until I replace it.
Snowflake Warning
-Ellie grew up in a world of monsters, TLOU isn't about butterflies and rainbows... it's horror.
-If you're playing the game I know, I know the story has thrown heartbreak at us. I'll give us some happy times.
-Sensitive material, Ellie likes girls... get over it!

Chapter 25!
Three Weeks Later
Ellie's feet were killing her, she had come so far in the last three weeks. She had calculated that it would take her 330 hours to travel by foot from Wyoming to Santa Barbara, Califonia. Fourteen days, but since she had to sleep and eat it added extra days onto her journey. The journey had been straight forward at first, she hadn't really encountered anything too serious unless you count a few Infected people along the way. But when Ellie reached Utah she ended up hiding in an abandoned building's basement for a few days due to a Hunter attack on a small community, the aftermath had been horrific for the surviving settlers. She buried most of the dead, but the Hunters soon returned.
Ellie had escaped unnoticed, she had found a bicycle and managed to distance herself from the Hunters. The bicycle had soon become her trusty rusty steed, it saved her poor feet from aching. It had brought her all the way to Nevada, she was on day twenty-eight now.
The sign to the city of Last Vegas had fallen apart decades ago, the road ahead of her was broken and abandoned. She dismounted her bicycle and wheeled it through the cities deserted streets, she was amazed by the sights that greeted her. The Main Strip of Las Vegas was mesmerising, it was falling apart but it was vest. Overturned cars on the streets and yellowing palm trees, the giant hotels were derelict. There were restaurants and stores lining the different streets, she even saw a sign posts directing the way to a casino.
Ellie couldn't help but admire the city, it must have been beautiful before the infection took hold of the world. It wasn't long until Ellie stopped near an overturned car, she rested her bicycle against it and took her journey from her backpack. She wanted to sketch some of the street, the fake Effle Tower caught her attention in the distance.
" I wish you could see this Dina..." Ellie said.
Sketching the outline of the structure Ellie soon had the perfect drawing in her journey, she then wrote a little piece about Las Vegas. She put her journal back into her backpack and took a sip of her water, she needed to get through this city before nightfall crept across this ghost town. Ellie had seen some decapitated Infected people hanging upside down from a traffic light a few blocks back, she was unsure if there was any Hunters or hostile groups in this area. But she wanted to check out a few of the store before left, she was running low on food supplies.
Getting back onto her bicycle Ellie began cycling down the bumpy Main Strip of Las Vegas, she careful maneuvered herself around fallen palm trees and broken statues on the road. She kept on riding until she reached the most massive building she had ever seen in all of her life, she stopped her bicycle dead and rested her feet on the ground. She looked at a sign and read the name of the building, it was called The Bellagio. She looked up at the building with amazement, it was impressive. The building's doors were boarded up, it's huge windows were blacked out and old blood splatters stained the sidewalk. She looked over at the vest fountain outside of the building, it was filled with dark gooey water.
Ellie's attention was soon caught though when she heard a snarling sound, it sounded like it was coming from inside the building. Resting her bicycle against an over turned hotdog stand she walked over to the boarded up doors, she rested her hand against the wood and listened to the sounds coming from inside of the building. Snarls and groans erupted from behind the boarded up doors of the hotel, it sounded like there was thousands of Infected trapped inside of this old hotel casino.
Ellie backed away from the boarded up door when she felt it rackling beneath her hand, she hurried over to her bicycle and mounted it. She needed to get far away from this building, it was dangerous. She began cycling around the large fountain and turned left when she reached the Main Strip, she was soon halfway down the street. She was following the signs that would lead her to the Las Vegas Freeway, that was one of the main routes she was taking to get to Santa Barbara. She stopped when reached the end of one street, she noticed a small convenience store. She needed to check it for some supplies, the store looked like it had been overturned decades ago but it was worth a shot.
Ellie dismounted her bicycle and wheeled it over to the store, she left it leaning against the store's sign post before she entered the building. She turned on her clip on touch while she ventured forward, she took her pistol from the back of her jeans and kept it aimed towards the ground. The store was dark and damp, the smell of decay lingered in the air. But Ellie kept on moving forward, she checked counter draws and overturned boxes, the store was empty. She was about to leave when something caught her attention, there was open box on the counter.
" What do we have here then?" Ellie asked.
Ellie approached the box and peered inside of it, she was surprised to see loads of chocolate chip energy bars inside of the box. She immediately grabbed a few of the bars and stuffed them into her backpack, but she quickly aimed her pistol behind her though when she heard a creaking sound. There was a dark haired man not far away her, he soon held his hands up surrender. He looked exhausted and dirty, his clothes had seen better days. He told her he wasn't going to hurt her, but Ellie kept her pistol aimed at him.
" I don't want any trouble here." Ellie said
" Neither do we, just let us take some of the food..." He said.
" We?" Ellie asked.
" Me and my Daughter." He replied.
Ellie's gaze soon lowered, she noticed a little blonde haired girl peering at her from behind the man's leg. Her gaze lingered on the little girl for a brief second, her features softened and she nodded at the man while she lowered her pistol. She told him to help himself, she wouldn't need all of the energy bars anyway.
" Thank you." He said.
Ellie zipped her backpack up and put it on, she then backed away from the box and told the man to help himself. He lifted his Daughter up from the floor and carried her over the counter before he sat her down on it, he then gave her one of the energy bars.
" Take care of yourselves." Ellie said before she tucked her pistol into the back of jeans. " There's a casino filled with the Infected a few blocks from here, it's called The Bellagio."
" We know the place, we've been holding up in a department store a few blocks away from here for the last three months." The man said while he opened a engery bar for his Daughter. " There was a community holding up in The Bellagio a few months ago, but a group of Hunters attacked the place."
" What happened?" Ellie asked.
" I'm not sure, we came here to join the trading post community after my Wife died." The man said. " A few saviours told us that it was a trade deal gone wrong, most of them have travelled to the north since then."
Ellie listened to the man telling her about The Bellagio Trading Post Community, it seemed like the old casino was more of a market place than a community. They traded food and military weapons for building materials, they did a lot of trading with different communities around the different states of America. The man soon introduction himself as Michael Smith, his Daughter Martha had just turned five a few days ago. Michael was originally from Massachusetts, he had been travelling around for the last few years with his wife before Martha had been born.
Ellie soon told him about The Jackson Community, she went onto tell him that he would be most welcome there with his Daughter. Michael seemed to be intrigued, but their conversation was soon cut short when they heard a clicking sound coming from outside of the building.
" Clickers..." Ellie said.
They immediately hid behind the store's counter, it wasn't long until they heard snarls and gunfire. Ellie took her pistol from the back of her jeans, she peered over the top of the counter and saw a group of Hunters outside of the building. It seemed like they had shot the Clicker dead, but it wasn't long until they heard more gunshots.
" Hush, it's okay..." Michael whispered.
Ellie attention was soon drawn to Martha in her Father's arms, the poor girl was terrified. Ellie crept from her their hiding place, she looked both ways down the aisle and told them to follow her. They quietly made their way down the aisle, she told them they would sneak out of the back of the building through one of the broken windows. She checked out the other aisles before she beckoned them to follow her across the store, they hurried forward and Ellie climbed through the window first. She took Martha from Michael while he climbed through the window, they then hurried along the empty alleyway together.
" Are they the Hunters you told me about?" Ellie asked.
" Yeah, but they never come this far into the city." Michael replied before he crouched behind a burnt out car to catch his breath. " They must have seen you, they have lookout patrols on the Main Strip."
" Shit..." Ellie muttered.
Ellie felt guilty, she had put Michael and Martha in danger because of her carelessness. She told them both to stay low while she led the Hunters away from this area, she was going to give them both the chance to get to safety.
" Thank you." Michael said.
" It's okay, just get your Daughter to safety." Ellie said before she smiled at the little girl. " If you ever make it to Jackson tell them that Ellie sent you, they'll let you both in without any questions."
Ellie wrote some map coordinates down on a folded up sheet of paper and gave it to Michael, he was grateful for her help. She crept from behind the car and sprinted along the street, it wasn't long until she heard gunfire. She kept on going until she reached an alleyway, she hurried down it and climbed through an open window that led into an abandoned stairwell.
The stairwell was blocked at one end, she had no other choice but to venture up the stairwell. She kept on moving and didn't stop until she reached some offices on the top floor, she checked out one office before she closed the door behind her. The office was small, the windows were smashed and most of the furniture was still intact. There was no other way into this room besides the door she had used to enter the office, she locked the door and sat down in front of it. She breathed heavily while she rested her head against the door, she was going to have to stay low until nightfall.
Two Months Later
Ellie looked out across the vest ocean, the sunlight danced on it's surface. She had never seen anything so beautiful in all of her life, she always dreamed about visiting the beach one day. The little cove was a tucked away from the world, it was just breathtaking. She wished Dina and JJ were here to see this beach with her, they could have built sandcastles and paddled in the ocean.
A slight smile crept across Ellie"s face while she thought about a family trip to the beach, she could see JJ playing in the sand and Dina sunbathing on a towel. They would cook fresh fish over an open campfire and watch the sun setting over the ocean, then they would snuggle beneath the stars together while telling tales about mermaids to little JJ.
Some waved crashing around her ankles which snapped Ellie out of her daydreaming, she would love to bring her family here someday. But sadly the circumstances were unsuitable for a family trip, she was here to find Abby. The lead Tommy had been given was the real deal, she had found the yacht Abby had been living on for the last few months.
Ellie walked along the beach towards the yacht, she couldn't help but whice when her backpack's straps rubbed against her shoulders. Her shoulders were sunburnt and blistering, but it was too hot for her wear a jacket. She hurried forward when she got closer to the yacht, she climbed onto it's deck and entered the cabin.
The cabin was cramped and stuffy, the smell of fish lingered in the air. Ellie checked some of the cupboards, there was hardly any food on the yacht. The bed looked slept in and there were blankets drapped over the couch, it seemed like Abby was still travelling with the young boy who had shot Tommy with an arrow. She found some coins laid out on the on the yacht's window sill, but her attention was soon drawn to a map on the table near the couch. She approached the map and rested her hands on the table top, there was a circle around a street.
" 2425 Constance..." Ellie muttered.
Talking her journey from her backpack Ellie wrote down the number and the name of the street, she had no idea why they were interested in this location. Next she took her own map from the back of her journal and circled the street, she had no idea why Abby was exploring that street but she was going to find out why.
