The group soon arrived at the local restaurant and were all chatting and laughing filling Peter in on all the past week dramas and he realized there was more then usual. "It will be sorted now" Peter meant that he could deal with the patients that were well struggling. They all nodded as Bron spoke "Well lucky for us you are back" The rest of the group nodded in agreement
They talked for hours until they realized it was 1am and they had a shift in five hours which they all knew they would be exhausted for. The groups left in smaller groups leaving Terri and Peter alone.
The pair walked out of the place side by side "I don't even remember the last time I stayed up this late" Peter looks at Terri "No me neither now it will take hours to get back so how about you stay at mine the kids want to see you and we can catch up some more" Terri smiles she missed the kids and loved the sound of that "Sounds perfect"
The next morning soon came and Terri woke up to Simon and Laura hugging her and she immediately hugged back she had truly missed then. Peter watched this unfold and felt so happy.
Mitch walked in the ward to see Steph and Connor yawning and Bron and Jarrad looking half asleep "Late night" Von walked in "Yeah very late" Mitch looked around wondering where Terri was "Terri not here" Connor shakes his head "She is on her way those" Less then a minute later both Terri and Peter walked in and Terri had her head resting on his shoulder it was clear she was exhausted however Mitch felt jealous like it should be him "I missed some party" Terri and Peter walked over "Yeah you did" Just like that Terri went into work mode sending a smile Peter way as he talked to Connor about a patient. Everyone else might of missed the brief moment between Peter and Terri but Mitch didn't and he was so jealous that he wanted to tell Peter to leave
