Great Hall~

The Hall was buzzing with excitement, young dragons and children filled the room with laughter and the occasional cloth catching fire. The smell of roast suckleing pig with herbs and spices filled the room along with mountains of mead in curved horns. Hiccup was thrilled along with his wife Astrid. Their dragons Stormfly and Toothless were busy playing. Hiccup slammed his curved horn against the arm of his chair. Toothless quickly went to his side and roared at the dragons to submission. Everyone fell quiet. "Thanks bud." Hiccup smiled. Toothless smiled back. Hiccup got up from his seat, spreading his arms wide in appreciation.

His green eyes scan his people. "Welcome! I'm proud to have you all here to celebrate the new children and dragons born on this day. We ask you all, the old and new parents to bring forth your children so they can be blessed by us and the gods." Hiccup bowed. Ruffnut and Tuffnut were hiding in the shadows, watching and listening to their Chiefs speech. Ruffnut had to keep telling herself that he would accept this baby, he was kind of the same except that he was missing foot and not his eyes. She never felt so terrified, and she went against dragons, raiders for Odin sake! Couples and dragons start lining up to Hiccup ,Astrid, Toothless and for the blessing.

"Måtte barnet ditt bli beskyttet av Freya og skjoldet ditt aldri bli knust med hammeren til Thor."

Hiccup and Astrid chanted while marking the children, boys and girls in goat blood. The baby dragons, from stoker class to strike class came before the Night Fury and bowed in respect. Ruffnut became more nervous and brought Raven closer to her chest. Tuffnut looked over and rolled his eyes in irritation but smiled. He shoved her harshly into the crowd with an evil grin. Ruffnut glared at him, wanting to shove him back but her hands were full. "Good luck, idiot." he waved goodbye to his sister. Their dragons looked at her with concern but encouragement. Ruffnut felt like she was read to cry but straightened up and walked ahead with her head held high. Everyone fell silent when they saw Ruffnut walking with a bundle in her arms, especially Fishleg and Snotlout who were arguing about who had the best dragon. Fishleg and Snotlout both had their mouths open and both dropped their horns of mead. Hiccup and Astrid gave the last blessing to a family of four until they saw Ruffnut. The two of them were frozen in shock.

"R-Ruffnut! I didn't even know you were with child. It's great mind you but… who's the father?" Hiccup stuttered, still shocked at what he was seeing. He looked over at Fishleg and Snotlout but the both shook their head furiously. Ruffnut swallowed a lump in her throat and got down on her knees while holding Raven close to her heart. "Hiccup...Great Chief… I found this child abandoned in the forest." she started, everyone gasped in horror. "I wish I was with child… but sadly I was not. For you see ,this babe is blind...I...I couldn't leave her to die." Ruffnut started to sob. Astrid looked at Ruffnut with pity but… "You know our tradition, we don't let children who are a burden to others live. It would be cruel to raise such a child and by yourself no less!" Ruffnut's face turned red in anger. "How dare you! This child has much right to live than any of us! I can prove to you that she won't be a burden to Burke." She declared, her lungs filled with liquid fire. Astrid was getting heated herself but Hiccup placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. With a gentle squeeze he looked back at Ruffnut. "You know Astrid is right, and even if I do allow you to raise the child. Who would help you raise it? You can't do this on your own." Ruffnut got up and looked around desperately. "Who will help me?" she asked, she never felt so vulnerable in her entire life. No of the villagers looked at her and some even whispered, 'It's bad luck.', 'I won't risk that cursed child to come near my family.'. Ruffnut was getting worried, she looked to her brother in desperation. Tuffnut looked down and sighed, and stepped forward about to announce that he would help raise the babe but the unexpected happened. "I will." Fishleg said proudly. Ruffnut and Tuffnut looked at him in surprise. "Fishleg.." Ruffnut whispered, dazed. Fishleg walked up to Ruffnut with a smile, looking down at the babe he gently touching the babes soft cheek. The babe cooed, grasping Fishlegs finger. Fishleg melted at the moment. "I will look after them both." Fishleg announced. "As will I." Tuffnut followed suit and stood beside his sister. "And look at it this way. The baby won't look like my ugly sister." Ruffnut gasped. "Thank you." she smiled. Ruffnut looked back at Hiccup and Astrid with confidence. "Please, will you grant this child a blessing." she held up the babe so Hiccup and Astrid could see. Toothless slowly came up to the baby sniffing it. The baby cooed again and touched Toothless nose. Toothless purred and back away from the baby. That moment was enough for Hiccup. "We shall grant it. Does she have a name?" Hiccup asked, with a smile. Everyone cheered and Fishleg side hugged Ruffnut in celebration. She cried happy tears. "Well, her name is Raven, As you can see my sister is falling into her emotions." Tuffnut laughed. Ruffnut passed the baby to Fishleg and punched Tuffnut straight into the face.

~19 Years Later: Spring~

"Stop right there blind girl!" the guard screamed. Raven was running away from the Chief's guard, something about accidently letting out the Terrible Terror in the fish shed? She laughed as she ran, feeling the cold wind on her face. "The name is Raven!" she called back, running faster. Raven can feel the glares and waves of disappointment from the villagers. Besides her family being known as the idiots of the village, when she came into the picture she was always 'the blind girl' or 'the cursed one'. She had nothing but grief from these people, all because she was blind. Raven heard the vibration of a cart being pulled and smelled brimstone and earth, a Gronckle. Raven smirked, she quickly grabbed a rock off the ground and threw it in the air. The Gronckle smelled it and stopped to do a little leap to get the rock. The cart stopped in a harsh halt that the contents tipped over and fell in a heap. Raven jumped and did a cartwheel in mid air to avoid the fallen cart. "Damn you! May Thor strike you dead!" the villager cursed while trying to get the cart back up. Raven landed gracefully while hearing the curses and grumbles of the guards trying to get past the mess. She only smiled and walked the rest of the way home.

In the square she moved her away around the villagers and dragons smoothly, so smooth that she easily grabbed an apple on one of the stands. She tossed it around in mid air, taking a bite of it's smooth skin and hearing the crunch of it's juicy sweet flesh that she moaned in ecstasy. Suddenly a hand grabbed her wrist and took her behind someone's hut. She gasped, dropping the apple in the middle of the kidnapping. He pushed her against the wall while covering her mouth so she didn't scream. "Shhh, it's me." he whispered. The moment of fear slowly melted away, when she caught the scent of salt and blood. Her body relaxed and she slowly lifted her hands to touch his face. Defined cheekbones, a sharp jaw, pointed nose, and full plump lips. He kissed her fingertips when she touched them. "Bjarke…" she sighed in a daze.

Bjarke kissed from her fingertips , her arm, and her throat. Leaving fire on her skin in his wake. He sucked and bit into her flesh, leaving a nice bruise. Lowering his hand from her mouth to rest on her hip. "Ahhh! Bjarke… you have to stop… what if someone sees?" she moaned, feeling his hand going up her tunic. "No one will see, and if someone does, who cares?" he moaned back, his hand going up her stomach and placed on her round breast. "Mmmm! My mother, you idiot… as much as I want you to continue… I have to get home… I'm also in trouble." she moaned, feeling heat in between her legs. Bjarke chuckled, pulled back from her nape and lowered his other hand from her tunic to her hip. He smirked at the mark he placed on her. He put his arm on the wall while the other was placed on his hip. "What did you do this time?" he asked in amusement. Raven giggled and placed her finger on her chin in thought. "Oh I may have let in a Terrible Terror in the fish supply?" Bjarke laughed. "Now why would you do that?"

"Cause I was asked on a dare. And you know I never back down from a challenge." she smirked, her body filled with confidence. Bjarke laughed again and kissed her full on the mouth. She gasped and that gave him the opportunity to slip his tongue inside. He ravaged her mouth like he was raiding a village, making her moaned like crazy. He tried slipping his hand inside her tunic again but she placed a hand on his wrist. She broke the kiss with a sigh. "I mean it Bjarke, I have to go." she said sternly. Bjarke groaned but complied. "Meet me at the bonfire tonight." he whispered in her ear. Raven shivered in pleasure and only nodded. Bjarke kissed her nape one last time and let her go.

While Raven was having a heated moment with her lover. Ruffnut was busy shearing the sheep and cleaning the wool while her husband Fishleg was flying Meatlug with their five year old son Caden. It has been nineteen years since they have been married and Ruffnut could not be more happier. After the sheep were sheared and the wool was clean she took that wool and placed it in a shed where she will make a blanket later on. She went inside their home and started gathering her raiding gear. Helmet, sword, shield, axe, metal chest and shoulder plates. She was getting everything in order until she heard the wings of Meatlug and her husband. "See son, our Meatlug here is a boulder type and can cast flaming rocks for its attack." Fishleg explained. Their son groaned. "Dad! You have been telling me this since we started flying and Meatlug is even sleeping. He was so bored!" Ruffnut chuckled, knowing full well that Fishleg was probably boring their son with dragon facts. They both came rushing in the house with tired smiles. "Mother!" Caden ran full force into Ruffnut's arms. "Oh my Thor, you are heavy! We should probably feed you less fish." Ruffnut jokes, squeezing her son in a bear hug. "Mother! I can't breath!" Caden gasped out, trying to get out of his mothers grasp.

Fishleg chuckled and gave Ruffnut a kiss on the cheek. Ruffnut blushed and giggled while putting down their son. "Oh Fishleg~" she kissed him on the lips, making Caden gage. "Please get a room." he groaned. They both smiled and ruffled Caden's head, "When you find a girl, you'll understand." Caden put his blonde hair back into place, where he noticed the weapons on the table. "Mother! You're also going on the raid?" Caden jumped in excitement. This spring Hiccup announced that they will be raiding in Paris and the highest skill warriors will be leading the charge. Caden grabbed an axe, dropping it to the ground because it was so heavy. "Of course! Your father, uncle and I are going." Ruffnut posed in confidence and pride. Fishleg chuckled, not really a warrior but still a dragon rider nonetheless. Carden tried lifting the axe by the handle but it was too heavy. "Can I come with you? Please!" he begged. Ruffnut and Fishleg looked at each other in concern. Ruffnut grabbed the axe from Caden's hands and placed it back on the table. "Caden, you're not of age to raid or fight. You will be staying here." Caden's mouth hangs open in shock. "But why! I have the heart of Thor! I'm brave and I can fight well! Dad has been teaching me how to be a dragon rider like you." he yelled in anger. Ruffnut gave him a stern look. "You're not going and that is final." the next moment they heard a huge bang from the door. They all looked up and saw Raven kicking the door open. Caden screamed in delight. "Raven!" Caden ran straight into Raven and jumped. She caught him in mid jump and squeezed him in a bear hug. Caden returned the hug, having been very close. Ruffnut snorted in disdain. Raven smiled and released the hug, holding Caden by her hip. " Well how is the handsome god today?" she teased. Caden blushed and shoved her shoulder. "Don't tease me! Good..until mom ruined it." he mumbled, crossing his arms and pouting.

"Oh? And why is that?" she asked with a confused expression. Ruffnut humphed while Fishleg stood to the side, trying not to get involved. Ruffnut turned her back on the two, picking up a sword and placing her thumb on the blade, feeling it's sharp edge. "If you must know, Caden wanted to join you father and I on the raid to France." Raven hmmed, understanding the situation. "I understand, and she told you know?" Raven asked. Caden only nodded his head. "Did he nod his head?" she asked, not hearing a response. Fishleg hmmed, indicating that his son did. "Oh? Well, I agree with mom. You're too young, besides who would look after the farm?" Caden was even more enraged, feeling betrayed by his sister.

"That is not fair! So I'm supposed to stay here alone!?" Fishleg chuckled. "Of course not, you'll be with your grandmother and grandfather." Caden made a sour face, not really a fan of his father's parents. He tapped his sister's face in irritation. "Are you going then?"

"Yes."

"No."

Ruffnut and Raven said at the same time but with different answers. Raven glared at the direction of her mother in anger. Ruffnut did the same. Raven let Caden slide off her. "Don't worry Caden, I'll bring you back a priest's head." she hissed through her teeth. Caden and Fishleg can feel the tension in the air. Fishleg quickly hobbled over and grabbed his son out of the way. "Let's go son! I'm sure Meatlug needs a good clean after that ride!" Caden was about to protest but was pulled out there like a lightning strike was hitting directly under their butts. The mother and daughter faced off each other. They began walking in a circle. Two wolves ready to pounce. "I'm going on this raid." Raven growled. "No you're not, you're too young." Ruffnut growled back. All of a sudden Raven threw the dagger at her mother. Ruffnut gracefully moved so the dagger wouldn't pierce her. Thunk! The blade landed on a wooden beam, leaving only an angry Ruffnut.. Raven smirked. They both got into a fighting stance and waited a moment before either of them attacked. Raven pounced first. "I'm not a child anymore! I'm a full grown woman who can take care of herself!" she tried to punch her without really a plan on what to punch. Anger was clouding her judgement. Ruffnut moved swiftly away, causing Raven to stumble and fall to the ground.

"Hahah, getting too involved in your emotions my dear." Ruffnut taunted. Raven pounced again, feeling the vibrations of her mothers feet. But Ruffnut grabbed her wrist and elbowed her in the face. Crack! "Ahhhh!" Raven stumbled away from her mother in pain, clenching her nose. It was turning purple and bleeding, it was definitely broken. Ruffnut froze, getting flashbacks of when her father would beat her to a pulp. Ruffnut shook her head and walked away. "Enough." she announced. Feeling herself shake in shame. Raven pressed the cartilage back into place, releasing a flow of blood out of her nose. She breathed in and out harshly by the pain but tried to refocus. She ran to where she could hear mother's footsteps. Not giving up on this fight. "Tuffnut said that I could come with you."Raven tried to tackle her but Ruffnut quietly got down low and did a low ground kick, getting her daughter off her feet. Raven grunted, the wind getting knocked out of her. "He was probably drunk when he made that promise." Ruffnut breathed, getting tired of her daughter's tantrum. Walking over to Raven she placed her foot on her chest and pressed down. Raven tried to get the foot off but was too weak. "How can you go with us if you can't even defend yourself, hmm?" She said with a serious tone. Ruffnut got down to Raven's face, feeling her mothers heated breath she glared and spit blood into her face. "May Thor strike you dead."
