Kate woke the following morning with the sun just beginning to stream through the curtains. Sighing softly, she wondered if last night had all been one of her dreams. Opening her eyes, she saw she was wrapped in his arms with her head against his bare chest she could hear the gentle rhythmic beat of his heart. Seeing the time on his clock next to the bed she slid silently from the sheets trying not to wake him. Taking the sheet with her she crept around the room trying to find her clothes which lay discarded in many places.

Pulling her underwear on she felt his hands wrap around her waist, his fingers running down her hip bone setting her senses on edge again. "where are you going?" he whispered his warm breath tickling behind her ear.

Leaning back, she sighed softly he was making this difficult for her and she could tell he was enjoying this a little too much. "i have to get back before the girls get up" she said turning to face him. She heard him sigh heavily. Wrapping her arms around his waist. "Last night was truly..." she began but was stopped by a kiss. "amazing" she let out a sigh as he lifted her up carrying her back over to the bed. Closing her eyes, she could feel as he ran his fingers along the inside of her leg gripping the sheet beneath her she could feel the pleasure coursing through her veins she needed to regain control. Smiling she pulled him closer flipping them both sitting across his lap she dug her hips against him smiling reaching over him picking up her vest from last night which was lay on the headboard. "i was looking for that" she smiled

She watched as he pulled it from her hand tossing it over to the other side of the room as he sat up pulling her closer flipping them again so he was once again above her. Moaning softly, she pulled him close as he softly kissed along her collar bone...

Walking through the door Kate turned closing it as quietly as she could tip-toeing towards her room. It was just before 7 so she had half an hour before the girls got up.

She was just walking in to her room, when she heard footsteps behind her. Turning slowly, she saw Nikki standing behind her.

"and what time do you call this?" She said with her arms folded

"sorry mum" Kate grinned

Nikki looked her friend up and down. There was something different, that she couldn't quite put her finger on then It hit.

"you dirty little stop out" she grinned

"we just watched a movie and I fell asleep" Kate tried to argue

"nice try sister but your vest is on back to front, your skirt is cockeyed and you have that look about you"

"what look?" Kate asked

"like you have been up to a bit of firkytoodling and houghmagandy" Nikki grinned

"up to what?" Kate grinned

" Firkytoodling and Houghmagandy. Also, the Hicky it's a dead giveaway" she smiled

"WHAT!" Kate exclaimed clasping her hand to her neck before walking in to the en suite examining her neck. "that was a low blow Nic" she grinned turning

"well, it got you to spill didn't it. So.."

"I'm going for a shower before the girls get up" she said walking back in to the Bathroom

Switching on the shower she waited for the water to warm up before stepping under. As the water ran over her; her mind flashed back to the previous evening.

It had been exhilarating and as much as she hated to admit it Nikki had been right; she did need it. Her skin still fizzing with the excitement from last night and the events of that morning. He was kind and caring making sure she was alright, whereas whenever her and Jim 'did the deed' he was more in to proving how much stamina he had and showing of his athletic prowess

Stepping from the shower she grabbed her towel wrapping it around her she walked back in to the bedroom. Thankfully Nikki had taken herself off back in to the kitchen. Pulling her uniform from the wardrobe she lay it on the bed before grabbing the hairdryer she ran her fingers through her hair. If she could get most of the dampness out, she could cram it in a bun and let the warmth of the sun do the rest.

She had just scraped her hair up in to a bun when Aimee and Sovay came running in.

"Mummy" Sovay smiled bouncing on the bed

"why are you not dressed ready for school" Kate sighed. "come on dressed and in to the kitchen breakfast in 5 minuets." she said. Walking out in to the Kitchen.

"so..." Nikki grinned handing her a mug of coffee

"so what I am not telling" Kate said sipping the drink. "ulgh what the hell is this" she said

"navigator brew. I thought what with last night you may need a pick-me-up" she grinned

"well, that is way too strong for human consumption. A normal brew will do" she said tipping the coffee down the sink. Making herself a fresh drink.

Placing the mug on the side she sighed looking at her watch. "come on please girls!" she called tipping the cereal in to their bowls

Walking down the last flight of stairs at NAVCOM later that afternoon, she was carrying several files that Commander White had asked for. She slipped missing the last two steps and was saved by an arm which stopped her face from going smack on the tiled floor

"Thank you" she smiled crouching down to pick up her files she had dropped. When he didn't help, she looked up realising who it was. "what the hell are you doing here" ...

so the words Nikki uses are real words and are set in old English. Houghmagandy i found on Twitter from a page called QI it is a old Scottish word for consensual sex between unmarried people and Firkytoodling was in a book my mum got me for Christmas which is all on the origins of words. Firkytoodling is a old Victorian word for well in the book it is described as indulging in 'physically intermate endearments'
