Existential Crisis
The samurai ventured back to his kingdom, thinking about what happened to him. He survived a blast that could've turned him into dust, erasing him from reality. Fortunately for him, he survived. How is that possible? He wondered.
As the mortal prince arrived at the gates, it opened and a familiar face approached him.
It was Ashi's sister. "Ami? What are you doing here?"
The girl did not answer his question but she asked him "Where is Ashi?"
"I don't know." He was unsure of that answer. She could be gone or just lost somewhere. "She's out there. I don't know where."
"Where's the purple stone?"
The samurai remembered Ashi had it. He shook his head, not having an answer either. Ami was confused and lost her train of thought. "What? ... What do we do now?"
But then they got an answer from an unexpected enemy. Out from thin air, the dark entity Oblitus emerged and with him is the Eye of Time. "Lost your way, I see." He said.
The samurai and the assassin drew out their weapons and on guard.
The entity waved his hands up. "Not here to fight. But I can offer help to you guys."
"Help?" Ami yelled. "You tried to destroy us!"
Oblitus ignored her and went straight to the samurai. "Do you know why you didn't get erased by the cube's power, samurai?"
The samurai was surprised by the entity's question. "You know her?"
"Yes. She's a little brat imprisoned by her parents. She has some crazy suggestions that could break the laws of the reality." Oblitus clapped his hands and a chart popped out from thin air. He showed them cosmic hierarchy of existence. "As you can see, there are three people who created the universe. This is Vesra the First Child, big guy of power who appears randomly to provide divine help. In which I like to call it a miracle. Then there's Desla the Second Child, the one who gives free will to you mortals and any other living beings. And lastly, Alma the Third Child, the entity who provides life to the universe."
The samurai and the assassin just brushed off those information that doesn't help them. "What are you trying to say?"
Oblitus just talked to them straightforwardly. "These three created the girl you just faced, Samurai! This entity can control all reality, change your universe in a whim! And why I'm telling you this is because you two are no longer connected to this reality. You are all part of me now." The entity grinned.
The samurai was troubled and confused by the fact. He tried to deny it but he felt the dark entity is being sincere. He later remembered what happened to him, what Oblitus did to him. The dark entity killed his past self, erasing him from existence. Now he exists because of Oblitus. He survived because of him. "That can't be true. It's not true!" The samurai yelled, denying his own existence.
Oblitus laughed at the mortal. "You are saved by me, samurai. You are now forever belong to me!"
But the samurai realized one fact. "But you cannot control me, Oblitus! You cannot control us!"
"I know." The entity answered with a disappointed tone. "But I can help you defeat her."
"Why help us?"
Oblitus doesn't want to share much. "Well, let's just say... I don't like her messing up the place."
With that little reason, the mortal prince agrees with the entity. "Now first, tell me everything you know about her."
Idea and her imaginations emerged at the cold region of Norway and approached six stoned towers. The multi-colored entity held the golden cube on her hand and placed it on of the stoned towers. "1 down. 5 to go." She said.
She then turned to her three heroes and gave them their next tasks. "This is going to be a challenge to you, boys. I want you to be prepared for this."
The swordsman, spearman and gunslinger responded. "We are prepared for anything."
"Good." The entity then gave them specific instructions. "The Purple gem has been split into multiple pieces. I heard it has been scattered across existence by a hundred. Not sure how many but I can say it is a lot. But I want to have one so I could use it to recall all the six."
Fortunately for them, the gunslinger presented to her the purple gem that he found. It was the one that Ashi dropped when she disappeared. "This is the stone I've found."
"That's... that's good." Surprised but also content, Idea took it and attached it on the golden cube. When two gems combined, the entity makes her wish. "I wish... for the Six to be whole again."
Wish granted.
However, it did not work out like she thought it would. Instead, it did by reverse. The purple stone disappeared from her sight. The small gemstone went back and merged to the source of it. The entity was frustrated knowing that she cannot wish all six stones to her location without the power of the purple gem. In rage, she pulled our the cube from the stoned tower and breaks it, release the golden entity inside Dilek the Goddess of Possibilities. Idea's twin sister. "Where did the purple gem go, sister?" She struck her with solid projections of animosity. "What did you do?"
Dilek smirked at her foolish twin. "You just merged the stones back together again. Next time, sis, be specific and clear with your wishes." Dilek enjoyed the distress of her twin. "I just merged that slither of that gem back to its originator. I don't know where but I turned them whole again. Just like you wished for."
Idea despised her sister's words. Soon she later realized that she just made it easier for them to retrieve gems. She called out her three noble heroes. "We are going on a journey. We will find the remaining five gems throughout realities."
Then the swordsman raised his hand, remembering Ami and the red gem. "One of the mortals we've encountered has the red stone." The gunslinger and spearman confirmed his statement. "It is true. A mortal held the red stone and used it against us."
Idea then tasked the swordsman to retrieve it. "Find it and bring it back here."
"It will be done, my queen." The armored man bowed down.
When everything is set, Idea forced her sister to open a doorway to their destination. "Take us to the nearest gem, sister." Bonded by her rules, Dilek must obey and so she opened a portal for them. The gunslinger and spearman waved good luck to the swordsman, hoping he will get the stone earlier than expected.
Although...
"What happened, Ami?" The samurai asked her, seeing her troubled look.
The assassin looked at her pocket and noticed it's gone. It just disappeared. "The red gem. It's gone, Jack."
Oblitus just felt something unusual in the atmosphere. A familiar force that could bend the fabric of reality. He recognized Dilek's power. She must've done something. He could only tell the mortals little fact about it. "The gems have been whole now."
"Excuse me?" The samurai did not hear what he said. "What happened to the gems?"
"Some of the gems were split into pieces to avoid to be gathered. But this time, someone manage to make them whole again and it did. The red gem you once possessed is now merged back to its originator which is we don't know where or who. Good thing we still have the time gem with us."
Ami yelled. "Okay. Thanks for the exposition. What do we have to do now?"
Oblitus liked to hear them asking for instructions. "Well... you cannot do this alone. You need help." The entity raised the orange gemstone.
The samurai knew what the dark entity was thinking and he doesn't like it. "No."
The entity responded with a happy tone. "Oh, yes."
