Chapter eleven: Power display

(Hello guys I'm back!)

After a long day of having fun at the lake all of them got back on the boat and got ready to head back to the cabin but it just shouldn't be. Not only was the engine of the boat seemingly empty but there was also no gas on the boat that could be used. So all 4 of them were stuck on a tiny boat in the middle of a lake without anything to do. While Vaggie, Charlie and Ryuga were sitting around waiting for something to happen Sev was trying to phone someone.

Vaggie:" Well this is certainly perfect. We wanted relaxation and peace, and now we are bored to death in the middle of a lake."

Ryuga:" Hey it isn't that bad."

Vaggie:" Oh yeah? What's good about this situation?"

Ryuga:" Well, we have...uh. Charlie, help."

Charlie:" We have our self to keep us entertaining company."

Ryuga & Vaggie in sync:" Really?"

Charlie:" Hey, at least I am trying."

Suddenly Sev came to the group and informed them about their situation.

Sev:" I just called my parents. They're sending someone with enough gas to get us back to the cabin. But it will take a while."

Charlie:" What do you mean by ´a while´?"

Sev:" I don't know Charlotte! If I had something more specific I would've said that!"

Charlie:" No, reason to scream at me! And you know I don't like the name Charlotte."

Sev:" Oh, ExCuSe Me ThAt I HaVe ChOsEn ThE wRoNg NaMe, PrInCeSs!"

Ryuga:" Hey, shut it! You don't have to be a fucking dick about it!"

Sev:" Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it, little boy?"

Ryuga got up and stared Sev now straight in the face with his red glowing eyes.

Ryuga:" How about I teach you some manners on how to behave?"

Sev:" Oh try me bitch."

Charlie got up and tried to separate the two of them from each other. But both of them didn't want the situation to cool off. Their argument got more and more heated.

Ryuga:" Why the fuck are you such an asshole?"

Sev:" I am the asshole? Fuck off! You have been passive aggressive to me ever since we first met. And why? Is it because you are jealous?"
Ryuga:" Jealous? Over a fish face like you? I would rather be jealous of the opossum that eats out of the garbage."

Sev:" In that case it's most likely because I am just more pleasing than you."

Ryuga let out one single threatening word:" What?"

Sev:" It's obvious as fuck. I just can imagine the disappointment of her. Really, you should feel honoured that she fucked you!"

Ryuga remembered these words from before. Those were the words that he heard over and over again after he told someone that Karen raped him. He didn't just hated that sentenced, he absolutely despite it and anyone who ever said this. This was Ryuga's turning point. He didn't care for any of his actions anymore, he just saw red and he wanted to kill. He ran up to Sev and pushed them both of the boat and into the water. Charlie and Vaggie looked there with terror in their eyes as they didn't see them in the water. Both of them were deep into the lake and Seviathan clearly had the upper hand in his home territory.

Because of his bloodline Sev was an incredibly strong demon with powers beyond an overlord. Seviathan was able to turn himself into a giant kraken with arms to many as they could be count. He watched the pathetic little demon that swam before him with an inner smile. Ryuga had a clear and strong answer to this power move of Seviathan. He brought out his own inner monster. His eyes glowed up in a big red glow that let Sev knew he was in trouble. Ryuga didn't just turned into his normal muscular dragon mutant. He completely transformed himself into this monstrous reptile. It was truly a ´Ryuga´. Now they were equal in size.

Ryuga:" Surprise, motherfucker!"

While Charlie and Vaggie were still looking for the boys from the boat the two had a full blown battle. Ryuga broke through the surface behind the boat causing a wave that let the boat be driven away. Ryuga bit some of Sev's tentacles and tried to life this kraken out of the water. But it was too heavy. Sev used this opportunity and put dozens of arms around Ryuga and pulled him back into the deeps of the sea, even punching him with some of these. Ryuga tried to free himself by blasting a fire breath onto Sev, and even though it was weakened by the water around them it still did significant damage. Before anyone of the two could continue the fight was ended by them being lifted up into the air unable to move.

A single word of Charlie declared:" Enough!" She had overpowered both of these powerful beings without breaking a sweat. Her powers were truly beyond anything that could be measured. She was the antichrist after all. And someone like her is destined to greatness.

Charlie:" Both of you stop it right now, or else you will regret it."

Not only forced she both of them transform back into their ordinary form but also caused the ship they were on to be washed to the coast. After both of them were weak enough she let them fall onto the sand of the beach and walked up to them. She was visibly pissed at them and that made them both fear her.

Charlie:" What the hell did you thought you two were doing?"

Ryuga:" He-"

Charlie:" Don't cut me off I am not done yet. You two assheads nearly killed each other, I mean look at you two!" She pointed at Ryuga." You almost drowned!" Now she looked at Seviathan." And you almost got roasted because of your stupidity! Both of you need to seriously think about what you have done with your bullshit and now you are going to do that! Until then I don't want a single one of you in my sight."

Ryuga took a short look at her and then started talking.

Ryuga:" Then I will see you back home. I can't stand you all right now."

Before Charlie could say anything Ryuga already took off and was on his way back at the hotel. He had tears in his eyes from remembering his worst moment. He didn't even had the power to talk to Charlie anymore, he just felt weak and alone. He just wanted to not feel so terrible anymore. Meanwhile Charlie and the others got back to the cabin and Charlie let out a huge sigh before letting herself sink to the couch. She groaned as she thought about the previous events. She asked herself how Ryuga became so strong that he could rival Sev.

Ryuga got back to the hotel and landed in front of it with a earraping boom. He went inside into the lobby and got shocked looks by the guests that were now living at the popular hotel. He walked over to the bar where the door to the basement was. He gave the barkeep Husker a light head movement that was saying that he should get out now. Husker moved out of the way as Ryuga grabbed a strong Wisky and went down. He didn't care about anything now, his mood was unhealthy self-destructive.

He got down to the cell where he imprisoned Karen. He took a big sip of the bottle and took a look at the source of his hatred.

Ryuga:" I had a really bad day. So prepare, to get the shit beaten out of you."

Karen was in a weird position. She was on her knees with her head down and her hands holding each other. She was praying. Ryuga got filled with rage. He knew that if she would be heard by heaven there could be a big problem.

Ryuga:" Stop it you little fuck!"

He swung his hand at her causing her to fall over. After that he stepped onto her head to keep her down. He pressed his leg down to hear her scream in pain. But she didn't scream she wispherd something.

Karen:" Oh lord and saviour, please save my soul. Your reing cometh your will shall happen. On the heavens and the earth. Please lord, send me an Angel."

Right as she finished there was a loud shockwave outside of the hotel. Ryuga was enraged beyond control and forced Karen's head into the cement ground with just one kick. As he walked back to the door, to see what was going on, a small and quiet laugh was to be heard.

*Meanwhile back at the cabin of van Eldrich.*

Vaggie and Charlie were in the living room watching TV. It was an uncomfortable silence and Charlie was still mad at Sev for being such an asshole to everyone. She regretted coming there with Ryuga, her current boyfriend together with her ex-boyfriend, what was she thinking? Of course it had to go wrong.

Charlie (Wisphering to herself):" How could I be so naive?"

Vaggie apparently heard her wisphering and wanted to comfort her friend.

Vaggie:" Don't be so hard to yourself you just wanted to have fun with the people you like. It was Sev who is the bad one here and well Ryuga isn't completely innocent here either."

Charlie:" What do you mean by that?"

Vaggie:" Well he attacked Seviathan. That was more than just partially his fault."

Chalie:" Well I guess you're right but Sev was provoking him."

Vaggie:" Even if that was true, he can't just go around fighting everyone that is mean to him. Or he will never redeem himself."

Charlie:" What should I do?"

Vaggie:" I don't know maybe you can make them both apologise. That would be a good first step don't you think?"

Charlie:" I guess you'r-"

Charlie suddenly stopped mid-sentence and looked into the direction the hotel was standing.

Vaggie:" What is it?"

Charlie:" My uncle."

*Back at the Hazbin Hotel*

Ryuga stepped outside to see a single man dressed in a brown suit with a black undershirt. The man had wings like a falcon. It was an angel. Other people came out of the hotel as well.

Ryuga:" Who the fuck are you?"

Angel:" I am Uriel. Fitht archangel. And I am here to take a soul. A soul that doesn't belong here, a soul that has been kidnapped, a soul that belongs to the living world."

Ryuga knew exactly which soul he was talking about. He would not let this monster get out into the living world again. He didn't want anyone else to suffer like he did. He knew that he had to get this Uriel back to where he came from to not lose his revenge plans.

Ryuga:" If you're searching for innocent people you're at the wrong address here fella. Everyone is here for a reason."

Uriel:" Oh I doubt that. I already know where she is. I already know how this is gonna end. I know the next step you'll take and the one after that and after that."

Ryuga's eyes widened. Could this be true? Could someone really know every step he would do. He heard from this before, but only in theory. No human could come even close to being that precise and calculating. But then again Uriel was not a human.

Ryuga:" If you know all that, then you know that you're gonna get your ass kicked. What were you thinking? Coming here, to hell, and demanding something that doesn't belong to you while your henchman try to kill us every year. And why? Because we didn't blindly follow the rules of your dad. If God has a problem with his creation, then he should've seen it coming and prevented it."

Ryuga turned around and started speaking to the crowd that already formed in front of him.

Ryuga:" What about you? All of you. You tell yourself that you are here for a reason, that you have made a mistake in your life or followed the wrong rules. Butt seriously, was there any sign that something like a god could exist? NO! Was there any indication that this one religion was the right one? NO! And finally, people say God is all-knowing and all-powerful. So as he created every single one of us, he knew what we would do and why. And worst of all, he decided to punish US for how HE created us. And now even after death we get terrorised by his henchmen like this guy right here. Are you just gonna let that happen?"

The crowd screamed in unity" NO!" Everyone was filled with rage towards the archangel Uriel. Ryuga just managed to turn a few dozen demons against an angel so that he would not stand alone. Even Alastor who stood there the entire time seemed impressed by it. Alastor also wasted to kill Uriel but not for the same reason as everyone else. Alastor wanted to kill Uriel to taste angel flesh and for the entertainment.

Ryuga:" Then do what's right. Kill this bastard." He pointed towards Uriel who didn't seem surprised at all.

The demons stormed towards him with knifes, guns and every other weapon like thing they could find. Uriel just swiped most of them of their feet without using his powers at all. He was a trained angel who had eons to perfect his martial arts and hand to hand combat. This called for someone stronger than the average demon. So Ryuga decided to do it himself. He charged towards him with murderous intend. Uriel had no struggle to evade the attack. He ducked and pushed Ryuga of his feet which caused him to fall on the ground. Uriel wanted to move towards the hotel as he was nearly hit by a microphone staff. Uriel grabbed the staff and kicked Alastor, who swung the staff, in the guts.

Uriel walked closer to the Hotel's entrance. Ryuga got back up and tried to kick Uriel in the back but failed because Uriel grabbed his leg and threw him around into a wall. Alastor tried once again to attack, this time using his powers to create a portal with black tentacles coming out. Uriel countered by unleashing his wings and creating a strong, constant wind blow which kept the tentacles away from him. Now both Ryuga and Alastor tried to punch and kick Uriel, but he saw every single move before they made it.

It didn't take him long to beat both of them to a bloody pulp. Laying on the ground, helpless, both of them haven't landed a single hit. Alastor would not accept this, he would not use to a stinking, uncivilised, fancy exterminator in a suit. He only had one option left. One look at Ryuga, who still tried to crawl his way to the hotel, was enough. Alastor grabbed his staff and released a shrilling sound of radio static. This caused Ryuga to scream in pain and to roll on the ground in agony.

Ryuga's body began to change. His claws getting bigger. His tail getting sharper and his wings getting darker. Black mist popping holes through his body escaping his veins and eyes. He became a monster once again. Uriel turned around to see a dragon three stories tall and growing. He was very clearly fucked.

*As Charlie was on her way back in a car with Vaggie*

Charlie saw fire in the distance. She saw a flash of light and a dark shadow figure that resembled a snake with devil wings. She knew that this was Ryuga and the other one that fought him had to be her uncle Uriel. While Vaggie was stunned by what she saw Charlie just drove even faster. She knew if she wouldn't get there fast enough someone was going to die tonight.

She wasn't wrong and it seemed like it was Ryuga who would be the one to die. The beast he had become caused much destruction but it didn't land a hit on the angel Uriel. He was way too fast for that. And with the holy light of the archangels he was more than just suited against such a weak monster of darkness. With every beam of light Ryuga lost more and more of his dark powers and shrunk a little bit more, it didn't take long for him to break down and having to return to his normal form. Ryuga could barely stand by now. But his inferno of rage inside did not allow a loss. Uriel stood smug before him claiming victory.

Uriel:" Don't take it personal. Everyone loses to me. You never had a chance. You are doomed to fail, from now on until the end of eternity."

Ryuga jumped towards Uriel ready to strike him down with is claw. Uriel grabbed his hand out of the air without breaking a sweat. Then a single sound occurred. It sounded like a branch was being broken of a tree and fell onto a pile of dry leafs. Uriel looked down to see Ryuga's tail piercing him through the stomach and leaving through his back. Uriel was dripping blood from his wound and his mouth.

Uriel:" How? Is this? Possible?

Ryuga looked him straight in the eye and said with a cold and sinister voice:" What? You didn't see that coming?" He pulled his tail out of the angel, leaving him on the ground, dead.

Charlie was standing behind him and saw what happened. She couldn't believe her own eyes. How could Ryuga be so brutal and cold. She looked over at the hotel. It was nearly completely destroyed. A person climbed out of the ruins. But the person didn't look like a demon at all. It was Karen.

While Ryuga was still starring at his work Charlie walked over to Karen.

Charlie:" Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Karen pointed towards Ryuga:" He took me. He kidnapped me from my home and kept me here for months! He is a monster! I prayed that someone would come and save me."

Ryuga heard Karen's voice and turned around. To his shock he saw Charlie with a horrified face staring at him. She now knew everything. She knew what he did.

Charlie:" Ryuga, what have you done?"

Ryuga:" Charlie listen you don't understa-"

Charlie:" I do understand. I understand everything now. You have sinned, Ryuga. You have done so many horrible things and you did all of that while lying to me. Leave. Its over Ryuga. You are no longer welcome here."

Ryuga was shocked to hear those words and he wanted to explain himself:" Charlie I-"

Charlie didn't want to hear another word from him:" I said leave!"

She made two sharp pillars of stone jump out from the ground blocking Ryuga's way. He took a step back before reacting.

Ryuga only said one single word:" Fine." He knew he lost. He had to go now. Tears were leaving his eyes and his pain became so intense that no one could ever imagine it. He broke not only Charlie's but his own heart. As he left into the deeps of the city he looked up with a single thought. `This is all your fault. Under my watch no one has to suffer that way. I swear that I will kill you and become better than you. And if it's the last thing I'll ever do. `
