Hope

The physicians treated the samurai and used all of the medicines they could ever give to bring the prince back to health. Ami was there, watching over him, worried but disturbed to see the wounds he has. She asked the physicians how long will he recover.

They don't have a definitive answer.

Soon, Oblitus felt two powerful presence entering the realm. The dark entity knew they are after the eye but plans to leave with it. But first, he notified everyone about it. "Hey, Ami... you'll be having company."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"They are after the eye... and I'm leaving you all. Good luck." The entity simply disappeared.

"Bastard!" Ami yelled and soon saw two portal opened just outside the kingdom. Her sisters approached him as they felt their other sister's presence. "Aki has returned." But she's accompanying a one-armed man.

On the other portal, Idea and her two heroes have returned and they have come for the eye. The spearman and the gunslinger reacted about their return to that world. "Not this world again. Where is Swordsman, anyway?"

Idea felt his absence. "He's gone."

The two heroes were confused at first. "How is that possible? He is a hero like us. We are destined to win." They prepared their weapons to avenge their fallen brother. "Who did it, goddess?"

The entity felt the last breaths of the knight by the hands of the daughter of Aku. She felt Ami's presence does not belong in this reality. That means she's more dangerous to her two heroes. She cannot help them.

Meanwhile, Mors saw Idea and her minions and wanted to greet her. But he has second thoughts, remembering what she did. She abandoned him when he fought everyone. Literally everyone. Aki doesn't want him to be distracted. "The last gem is there in the palace. The entity Oblitus has it."

Mors said. "Then we show them a proper entrance." With the purple gem in his possession, he opened a portal above the palace and dropped thousand of his soldiers to the unsuspected imperial guards.

Idea saw the portal and turned around. Surprised by the presence of Mors, she watched him launched himself and Aki towards the palace. Her heroes asked her what their next move. The spearman was worried that the one-armed man is going after the last gem. "What do we do, my goddess?"

"Stop him!" She finally said in a panicking manner. "I said stop him!"

The two heroes dashed after the one-armed man.

Ami and her sisters engaged on the enemies first as the imperial guards were evacuated the civilians. Among them, the reborn Ashi saw the soldier slaughtering as many people as they see with their red power that they possess. Her mortal father called her out, telling her to run.

But Ashi paused when she saw Ami and her sisters fighting the red-powered enemies.

In her heart, she still possesses the old Ashi who doesn't want to leave the battle. She wanted to help. So she picked up a weapon from a fallen imperial guard and joined the fight.

Her father called her. "What are you doing, Ashi?"

"I'm protecting everyone." She answered and ran towards the red man about to attack the unsuspected Ami. She plunged her weapon to the man but it did not pierce his skin. But it is enough to stop him and turned his attention to Ashi.

Ami did not notice her as she was preoccupied with protecting everyone including the wounded samurai.

Meanwhile, the samurai's consciousness drifting through the sea of memories and into the land of souls where Odin, Rama, Ra, and the other gods from different pantheons were waiting for the mortal.

"He has been defeated," Ra said.

"But he never gives up," Rama answered.

Odin picked up the samurai and carried him to the center where the gods gathered. He laid him there and the gods of souls and life cast their powers on to him. The samurai's eyes opened as his spirit rejuvenated. He sat up and saw the gods before him, watching him with their almighty eyes.

"Where... where am I?"

Odin said. "You are in the Heart of the Realm where everything begins and ends."

"Am I dead?" The samurai wondered.

"You survived from a supernova," Rama said.

"Is that the first time?"

"No," Ra said. "But it is said that a mortal who survived the death of a star will be chosen to wield the Eternal Inferno."

The samurai heard that before. It from a friend the knight named Jack. Before he returned to the North, he told him about it that he searched for the power called the Eternal Inferno by killing the gods. He explained that the next host will be a god. It looks like the knight succeeded. "You are all killed by the knight Jack. Am I right?"

"Not all," Rama said. "But we have seen what you've been through. We saw all of your journey throughout time."

Odin added. "You are destined to save this world and lead the heroes towards a-"

But then someone interrupted the Allfather. It was Horatius, the prime Father Time. "Do not tell him too much." He called forth the host of the Inferno, the sun goddess Amaterasu, to give the mortal the power. White flame burst out from her hands, carrying it to the samurai. "Open your hand." She said.

The samurai pulled back his sleeves and reached for the white flame. As he touched it, he did not feel anything like hot or cold but that power pulsates on his hands. Soon, the flame disappeared merging into his soul. "What happens now?" He asked the gods.

Horatius answered. "Save the world." With those words, the samurai's consciousness went back to his physical body waking him up.

With the Eternal Inferno, the samurai's wounds were removed and healed. He got up and manifested a samurai armor made of solidified white flame reminiscing Donovan's power of fire. His appearance looked identical to his positive personality: Hope.

The samurai heard the cries of his people outside and he ran through the window and into battle. The glowing red men saw the white armored samurai entering the battle. They did not hesitate to attack him. He drew out his katana and block the enemy's attacks.

Ashi and Ami noticed Jack's return and his new form. They were in awe to see him back and show such great speed and strength as he mowed down multiple enemies at once. It is like a white wind flowing across the field and leaves hundreds of corpses on its trail.

Mors felt a cold shiver from the distance. A familiar presence emerged inside the castle. He paused and moved back. Aki, confused to see his slight sense of fear, then asked the man. "What happened? Why did you stop?"

"He is here."

"Who?"

Mors dreaded to say the name. "Samurai Jack."
