Endgame

Idea heads towards the palace, following the trail until she saw her two heroes standing still. The entity approached them, wondering why they stopped. "What's the matter?"

The gunslinger answered. "A white light has appeared inside the palace. It appears someone got a little help."

The entity knew the gods have interfered, helping the mortals succeed not allowing them to do it on their own. Idea can tell that she can defeat these mortal heroes in every realm. When she's ten steps ahead, the gods however come in and provided help.

"Deus Ex Machina." She said, despising the word so much. This is the reason she did not help Mors back then when he acquired the six gems. The gods interfered and came after her first and imprisoned her. "Gods are not supposed to interfere. They are not part of the game."

Knowing it was too late, she will play with them later.

The spearman asked again. "What do we do now?"

"Retreat." She waved her hand and opened a doorway. "We will do what we have." She has a yellow, green, and blue gem. Half of the collection is enough.

Her two heroes trusted her decision and followed her. The three disappeared and will return soon.

Aki can tell that Mors in a terrible state. He has been frozen for a minute when he spoke the name. She can see the fear in his eyes and losing focus on the task at hand. She yelled at him. "Mors! What are you doing?"

He snapped back. He remembered how he lost it all. "He will pay!" The red gem surges through him as he clenched his fist. He charges to the palace walls and finds the white samurai battling his red soldiers on his own.

Aki can see him falling apart, blinded by rage and fear. He is not thinking straight. He's going in without a plan.

But Mors has one.

First, he has to level the playing field. No interruptions. He waved his gauntlet and fired a red energy beam to the samurai, blasting him away from the palace and into the crowded streets. The civilians saw the white samurai and felt his warm presence, a symbol of hope. One of them cried out. "Oh, samurai! Save us!"

He heard his people. He nodded as a reply and then turned his sights on the raging one-armed man.

The samurai can feel the white flame of the Eternal Inferno flowing around him. He never felt so alive before. Little did they know that both of them have power and speed. Mors remembered what the samurai did. He remembered what he must avoid.

With the purple gem, he can be anywhere at once. He activated it and he disappeared.

The samurai raised his guards up and feel the surroundings. His people running around, avoiding the battle he was in. He's sure they are safe from danger and the danger is after him. He closed his eyes and listened.

Soon, the samurai leaped and Mors appeared from above, making a powerful strike. His gauntlet struck the ground and blew up it sky-high. The samurai saw civilians, flying up to the air screaming for help. Before he could start saving them, the daughters of Aku arrived to help. Ami waved at him, "You got this!"

The samurai appreciated it and continued on a counter-attack. He swung his sword down to cut the gauntlet. But Mors disappeared once again, knowing the samurai's moves.

"I won't make the same mistake!" Mors moved ten feet away from the samurai and then looked upon the sky. He saw the moon and he raised his gauntlet. Then he clenched his fist.

"NO!" The samurai dashed towards the one-armed man, trying to stop what he's going to do.

But it was too late.

The surface of the moon shattered by the red energy and the purple gem pulled those pieces towards the samurai's location.

Ami saw the large moon rocks heading towards the palace. She sees no other way to save the people and soon remembered what Scaramouche would have done. "What do we do now?" One of her sisters asked.

The falling rocks did make her remember. She has been keeping it for quite some time.

It was Scaramouche's flute. He built one for her in case she feels lonely. He taught her how to use it as an instrument and as a weapon. Ami placed it close to her mouth and started playing.

The song she made flew out from the instrument and the sound soon formed into a large hand and caught the falling debris. But Ami has not done half of her training and so she did not stop the debris, only slowing it down. She cannot hold it any longer.

"I can help."

Ashi showed up to them. She gave Ami a pat on the back and smiled. Her sisters were shocked to see her return. Ami hugged her, happy to see her again. "Where have you been?"

"Uh, do we know each other?" Ashi looked up and saw the falling rocks. "No time to explain. Just follow my lead." She held her sisters' hands and started sharing her energy with them. The sister felt the power flowing.

Meanwhile, Aki felt her sisters' presence changed that made her feel disturbed. "How is this possible?"

Then out of the blue, she saw her six sisters grew 600-feet, towering the entire palace and used their hands to block the moon rocks. Aki heard the people rejoiced. But for Aki, she felt fear. She wondered how they acquired it.

Knowing they are losing and no point in continuing, she grabbed one of the red powered men and yelled at them. "Call everyone! Retreat now!" She knew Mors caused their defeat by forgetting his goal of retrieving the last gem. "Retreat!" She yelled again.

"But where?" The red soldier asked her.

"Follow me." Aki led the remaining red soldiers to a place she knew. Being a person in the future, she knows a lot of places that were not yet discovered.

The samurai dodged the falling debris, cutting them down like butter one by one as he dashed towards his objective: Mors. When he got close, he leaped and swung his sword downward. Mors raised his gauntlet and grabbed the katana.

But the sword became intangible. Not what Mors expected.

He thought there was a sword. But in fact, the katana is made of white flames.

The samurai landed near him, a lot close. He then slammed his palm onto Mors' chest. It is the move that his late friend Donovan did back in the Mountain. The samurai proclaimed that Mors has lost.

Mors felt dread in just a quick second. His eyes locked onto the samurai seeing no mercy left. It is over.

For his friend, the samurai conjured his katana inside Mors. It burst out from his back without damaging his body except for his soul.

In an instant, the one-armed man engulfed with white flames.
