3. Chapter 3 and Cat Desc

Heyyyy! I need to ask you a question: When should I make Blackkit an apprentice? If I do it next chapter, there will be a big time-skip and RainClan would be gone without addressing it. So, I'll give options. Three chapters from now or five? Or any in between, of course! And- I can only know if you review! It helps me with my story and I need to know what to fix, what to have more of, etc. By the way, alliances are coming to this chapter. Sorry, this is taking too long. On to the chapter!

Chapter 3

"As you know, with more cats, comes more sickness. Sadly, Goldenbee has fallen under an unknown sickness." Gasps followed Sapstar's mewed. "She seems to be coping well, but her apprentice, Shinepaw, will need a new mentor. Shinepaw, your new mentor will be Lionprowl." Shinepaw's eyes were stricken with worry for his mentor as he touched noses with Lionprowl's. "Also, due to this sickness, I ask that all kits learn herbs." Sapstar meowed, her tail flicking. "On another note, we have some cats joining LightningClan." Murmurs of confusion and sadness rang around. "Please welcome Heart, now to be known as Heartpaw. Her mentor will be Woodcrack." Sapstar mewed cheerily. Heartpaw touched noses with the brown tom. "Now, we have another warrior joining us. Please welcome Falconheart. Being a RainClan cat, he doesn't exactly know our LightningClan ways, so I will be training him." Sapstar mewed.

"Heartpaw! Falconheart! Heartpaw! Falconheart!" Both Clans yowled, but RainClan seemed sad and a few were angry.

"Now, one thing for RainClan," Driftstar mewed calmly. "Lilackit, step forward. Lilackit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your medicine-cat name, you will be known as Lilacpaw. Your mentor will be Leafwind. I hope Leafwind will pass down all she knows on to you." Lilcacpaw seemed to be confused. Her formerly well-groomed fur was now puffed up and startled. Blackkit almost laughed at the reaction. Lilacpaw pressed her lavender nose to Leafwind's. Next, Fallkit- now Fallpaw- was paired with Timberheart and Fernpaw was paired with Swirlcloud.

Blackkit stepped out of the nursery with freshly groomed fur and bright, ready eyes. The moon shone brightly overhead, and Blackkit knew that it was only for those who were in camp at night. The leaf canopy bloched most light, especially moonlight. Blackkit had "overheard" gossip that Chirpkit, Bramblekit, and Eaglekit were going to sneak out tonight. And Blackkit wanted to see. She padded silently through the cool forest and strained her eyes to see. She scented Bramblekit. Although Blackkit didn't know much about scents, she could smell Bramblekit's fear scent. Patches of snow dotted the ground, and a small spot caught her eye as some moonlight hit it. She thought she scented an unfamiliar scent- it smelled… sweet? A bunch of different scents danced in her nose making her head hurt. She shook her head, and jumped across a stream. Blackkit saw colors of purple, pink, blue, green, orange, red, yellow… every color Blackkit could think of! Are these what Wishflower calls… flowers? Oh… this is SunClan! Blackkit had heard that sunClan cats were sweet and neat. But they hated FireClan and weren't so happy with LightningClan either. Blackkit shrugged. She had heard SunClan never went out at night. She would never be caught! Blackkit started walking again. The flowers felt soft and silky, and the grass felt calming and warm. She closed her eyes, enjoying the land around her. Then she yelped in pain. The she-kit lifted her paw and saw a big thorn surrounded by red- blood. She squeezed her eyes shut against the pain. She shut them so hard she could hear ran to the side and felt her paws run over trampled grass. She hit a wall. A thorny wall. She tried to pull herself out of it. When she did, her fur was covered in thorns. She yelped. Then she opened her eyes. Five fully-grown cats loomed over her, eyes full of anger.

Soooooo how was thaaaaat? I tried to have a cliff-hanger! You will meet her RainClan friends again, kit and warrior. By the way when I said "by Friday" I meant THIS FRIDAY. Sorry- should've clarified. BUT I will have the next chapter in at least two weeks, on Friday. Anyway, Flurryhearts, I need reviews! It really helps!
