Disclaimer: I don't own the Death Cure, I just write about it. I own my OC's and the mesh of a slight AU. Continues onward from Lost Days, and running through the movie plot of Death Cure.

Chapter One:

It was go time...

A long super conductive magnet track spawns endlessly, rolling green lush hills, shallow bodies of water. Incoming coming mountain range by all sides, I wouldn't had believe it still existed somewhere if not for seeing it with my two eye's, WICKED sure knew how to pick locations.

Inside of slightly armoured car taken from the goons who tries to over take the fort, I keep one hand on the staring wheel while gripping my walkie-talkies. Wind whipped the mess out my long hair undoing the way I had it reverting back to the twisty curls. I'm grateful to Harriet who convinced me to wear a jacket. The wind is no joke out here. Tuning my walkie-talkies to Newt's channel, I take a serious deep breath before speaking into the mic.

"Newt I'm coming up along side Thomas and Vince shortly, start getting into to position."

"Already bloody ahead of you mate." He responds.

"Newt?" I said calling out to him.

"Yeah?'

"I love you!" I said softly.

"I figured you did, but this isn't about us right now. I swear one of these days will have a big chat yeah." He replies firmly.

"Good that!" I said arguing as I drive up a hill. The hill wasn't much to look at, but there was two peaks across from another. Nick hopped in as he was waiting for my arrival. I shuffle to passenger seat. Taking out my watch I lean it upward letting the sunlight bounce off it. I move the beam towards the second peak giving Jorge the signal.

Jorge and Brenda relied the signal back as they drove down as the transport train makes its path between the valley. Where was Thomas and Vince. The plan needed to work with their presence. Jorge chases after the train to flank the vanguard. Nick and I take alternative rearguard.

"Down there!" Nick alerts me to their car.

"Alright let's go, I'll handle side car boarding."

Nick puts his foot down hard as the car takes off zipping around the hill getting us ahead of them. Down the the zigzag path we speeded past as by now Brenda and Jorge gotten the drivers attention.

"Covering your sides, Thomas." I radio in ecstatic as the car leaps over a mound which took us to ground level of the track three cars ahead of them.

"Alright we're in position!" He called back.

Driving towards the side with equal speed, I make sure my Desert Eagle's are holster safety, before throwing my back pack on with extra supplies.

Slowly and carefully I inch out of the window, fear burning in my stomach. But I push it further down, quickly getting steady footing on the roof. Nick stuck his head out partially,"You've only got one shot, I'll keep her as steady as I can." Nick warns me. "After that I'm headed for a substation a ways over to cut power to the track." He added.

"Noted, good luck." I smirk a fearless grin taking my leap of fate.

The momentary weightlessness is awe inspiring, feet kicking no longer tether to the ground. It's you versus gravity, the glimpse of flight. In the short nexus of space I extend my arms grabbing the ladder at the end of the car of the train. My legs connecting to the steps. I've done it, all that lie was Thomas and Vince.

I climb the ladder and reach the top, rush over to the rear to find Vince struggling to climb up when he mutters something out loud.

"Shit," his back facing the ladder looking towards the sky.

"Let's go." Thomas quickly said as I look where Vince eyes are staring.

"What's the matter?" I question.

"Hey, Berg!" He notes pointing upward.

I start to hear the low humming of the hovercraft in the distance. I lean over the ladder tapping the metal. "We gotta move fast!" I call out. Stepping back to give them room. The Berg is closing in fast when Thomas pulled out his walkie-talkies.

"Hey Brenda, you've got company!" It happen all to fast when the weapons went online as the gun turret began raining down on their truck. "We gotta move." The two of them began climbing up as I awaited at the top.

"About time guy's," I smirk as we began leaping over car after car, Thomas leading the way and Vince covering rear. After a few moments of leaping on top of cars, Thomas stop very fast as men in black outfits came marching down the front end all with guns held steadily. Vince jump down between cars doing who knows what as I pulled out my guns.

Thomas undid his bag as Vince began messing with the device which kept the train cars together. "Throw me the bag!' Vince calls and Thomas did just that. The wind kept blowing in my face messing with my hair, I kept messing up the count of men making their way to us. Thomas jump down to Vince as I jump over both of us firing our guns knocking some of the men down with our bullets. I'm not sure if they died but as one would get closer, Thomas took that one down and I repay the favor. But their numbers where more then the three of us could handle. I leap back over and got down and stood next to Vince covering him with my shots making sure not to hit Thomas.

"Damn, it's to many!" I yell irritated as I finish emptying a clip.

"Vince!" Thomas shouted turning to face him and I.

"We're set, cover your eye's." Vince said as the explosive was set to blow apart that which connects the cars."Take cover!"

Thomas went left climbing on the edge and Vince took right. I quickly wall run up the car just reaching the top, as the explosive went off detaching the two set rows of train cars. Our part came to grinding halt as the other half kept going.

"We all good?"I call out. Leaping down and onto the track carefully.

"Sure, but we ain't lose them yet." Vince pointed to the slowing train. Our eyes fixated as soon enough they would be on us again. Thomas didn't say much but turnt to the side and whistle loud enough giving the rest the signal. Newt's head pop up when Vince calls out for them. "Move!"

Both Thomas and I rush towards the passenger car. Calling out on the top of our lungs banging the sides of the car.

"Minho!" Thomas shouts as he hits the sides.

"Minho it's us call out of you hear this! I also yell.

The screams of children and chains shaking was drowning out everything. If he heard us it's likely we won't hear him among the shouts.

"Minho can you hear me!" Thomas yells out persisting on finding him. Suddenly there is what sounds like a reply but its a yell all to muffled out. The clanking of chains is unhelpful. Newt rush's over holding on to his bag. "This one, this one!" Thomas says with certainty, as Newt drops the bag down.

I rejoin Vince with Thomas as the three of us look down the rails, more men were getting closer. I caught my breath for a second before thinking of a solution. I don't have the fire power to fight them all back but there has to way.

"Oh shit, its gonna be close." Vince said catching his breath.

"I'll handle them even for a short moment." I said.

"Don't be crazy it's suicide!" Vince replies, "We just need to keep at it."

The three of us head back to the Newt as he's was getting the bolts off the train car. Vince and I started linking heavy duty rope up from the roof to train attaching every last part so we could make it out of here. Thomas joins us up top locking the last piece in place, leaning for a second towards Newt.

"Dude how are you doing?" Thomas calls out.

"Don't rush me!" Newt replies welding carefully the bolts off.

"Rush just a tick, no one wants to play target pract-." Just then bullets flew bouncing off the metal of the train nearly hitting us on top."Sonova." I curse back firing back a futile effort with this pistol. Thomas fires back as Vince makes his way down.

"Newt get up here!" Thomas shouts as Vince has gone to cover Newt. I keep firing diverting the soldiers keeping them away from Newt.

"Almost there." He said stubbornly trying to finish up what he started. Thomas laid flat giving himself some range and protection as I stood up firing away more and more but they kept advancing. Then there was large crash as the bolt came off and I knew Newt was finished..

"Newt go!" Screams Vince giving him the chance to climb up. Vince kept the suppressing fire as I laid flat on the roof to the right of Thomas as Newt took the left. Both of us still firing.

"Where the hell are they!" Newt said ferociously.

"I don't know," Was all Thomas could let out.

"They'll be here, just keep shooting!" I said unloading a clip.

Soon the others on the other side starting climbing up noticing it was to many of soldiers but Vince stood his ground. Then out of nowhere that familiar hum came through and a Berg began hovering over us, a chain dropping down.

"Vince I have you covered." I cried out. Thomas and Newt yank down the chain as I gave Vince fire support to get into cover. I felt bad with him down there. Quickly they hook the train to the Berg.

"Go go." Thomas shouted as the Berg began to rise, Newt rush over to the side.

"Vince get up here." Newt called.

"Now Vince!" Said Thomas.

"Hurry…" I let out as I still was firing. The Berg kept going up but Vince push himself hard enough that he leapt up and grabbing the ladder. The train was rocking and wobbling almost as if was going to crash. But it stood steady. The soldiers for some reason kept firing at us but we already won.

"Yeah!" Thomas cheers.

"Shit we pulled it off guys." I joined in with the cheering. All of us slightly celebrating our accomplishment. No injures, no deaths we made out like bandits. Thomas, Newt, Vince and I quickly hugged and patted our backs. It was time to head home.

A/N: Wow that was fun to write. I've begun to get committed to writing. I know I sorta half assed the Lost Days. But time restrictions and all. See you all next chapter.
