An impatient crowd of adults and children shoved one another as they lined up on the sidewalk in an attempt to get closer to the door that reads 'The Amanda Show'. They were all shouting and demanding to get in but was being prevented entry by two security guards, Kim Possible, and Ron Stoppable. Kim was dressed in a pink tanktop midriff and a pair of green cargo pants. Her long red hair spilled over her shoulder as she looked over the crowd. Her best friend, Ron stood next to her in a blue button-up and his normal jeans.
"This crowd is getting pretty wild, KP." Ron commented with a small frown. He glanced out at the crowd and rubbed the back of his neck, hoping that nothing weird would happen while they were trying to do the show.
Kim smiled at him and waved off his worry, "It's no big, Ron."
An official-looking man in a suit approached from inside the door holding a megaphone, "Help me out here!" He screams to a still rowdy crowd, "Everyone remain calm!"
A boy in the front of the line spoke up to plead his case, "I've gotta see the Amanda Show!
Immediately after, a small girl near him spoke up, "I'm Amanda's biggest fan!" She declared with a small pout.
"I came all the way from Switzerland!" Cried out another self-proclaimed fan.
"I made Amanda this corn chowder!" the first boy spoke up again, holding up a small pot as if to prove his point.
"Hey! Hey hey hey!" A nerdy-looking girl with shoulder-length black hair and glasses called out, pushing her way through the crowd. Once she reached the front she was stopped by Kim and Ron blocking her way inside. After a second of pushing, the blonde sidekick stepped in to try and calm the pusher down.
"Hey, no cuts! Get back in line!" Ron shouted out, pointing towards the back of the line. but this does not deter the fan.
"Sir, apparently you don't know who I am please!" She began. The crazy fan pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose before she continued, "My name is Penelope Taynt! I just HAPPEN to be Amanda's number one fan, please!"
Ron was neither impressed nor humored by Penelope's announcement, "Yeah. Everybody's her number one fan." Ron shrugged, using air quotes around 'number one'.
Again, Penelope is not defeated, "Oh yeah? Does 'everybody' have a face of Amanda tattooed on their abdomen? Huh?" She lifted her shirt, revealing a very detailed tattoo of Amanda Bynes' face inked onto her stomach.
Ron hurried to cover his eyes as the woman lifted her shift, only peaking through his fingers once he realized what she was showing them, "Oh, that's sick and wrong!"
Kim flinched as the tattoo was revealed, placing her hands up in front of her as if that might protect her from what she just saw somehow, "Oh wow, I think it's time for you to go to the back of the line." She responded, grabbing onto Penelope's arm.
Penelope whipped her head around to stare at Kim, pulling her arm towards her chest in a poor attempt to get away, "But, I'm Amanda's biggest fan! I have my own Amanda website!" She then turned herself towards Ron, pleading silently with him to understand where she was coming from. Ron nodded slowly, grabbing onto Penelope's other arm, causing her to struggle suddenly, "Wait! Please!" She cried out as Kim and Ron started to drag her to the back of the line.
"Okay," Called the man in the official suit, "There's only room for three more!"
The crowd pushed and attempted to claim dibs as three lucky people in the front were let inside. The doors closed, leaving the rest of the crowd out on the sidewalk. Penelope had managed to make her way back up to the front just as the doors closed, shaking the handle as she sobbed loudly, "NOOOOOO, Please!" After her small fit, she immediately began to push her way back through the disappointed crowd.
Inside the studio, the audience was already becoming uneasy with the lack of Amanda on the stage. An audience member in the front turned from his friends, throwing his hands up in the air as he called out to the empty stage, "Where's Amanda?!"
A nasal filled voice, belonging to Stinky Peterson comes over an intercom, "Uuum...the Amanda Show will begin...momentarily."
This did not calm the audience in the slightest and they began to chant, "WE WANT AMANDA! WE WANT AMANDA! WE WANT AMANDA! WE WANT AMANDA!"
From behind the stage, a small red-haired boy peeked at the audience from behind the curtain. He shook his head and adjusted his glasses, "This is bad, Tommy, real bad! Those people are real mad! Manda shoulda been here forever ago. Where could she be?"
The bald baby known as Tommy watched as the adults scrambled around backstage. Everyone was looking for Amanda but no one knew where she was right now, "I know, Chuckie! We have to help the grow'd ups!"
"But how?" Lil and Phil chimed in at the same time.
"You dumb babies don't know nothing! We have to stall the crowd. That's what the grown-ups said." Tommy's cousin Angelica cut in with a scoff, placing her hands on her hips.
"How does makin' them taller help?" Chuckie retorted, furrowing his brow together.
Angelica rolled her eyes, "Not tall, Stall. We have to distract them until Amanda gets here."
"How do we do that?" Lil questioned again, glancing at the crowd through the small gap in the curtain. Phil nodded, looking towards the audience as he finished Lil's thought, "They look pretty mad…""
The pig-tailed girl smirked and pushed Tommy and Phil aside as she walked towards the stage, "I can do it! After all, this should be The Angelica Show!" She decided proudly.
"Gee Angelica, I don't know about-" Tommy started, but Angelica had already left through the curtain.
Chuckie seemed relieved that Angelica had left them alone for now. He looked to Tommy and scratched his head, "Where is Manda anyway?"
Tommy gave a small shrug, "Dunno...maybe she's still flying in here on her helly-coptor." He offered, lifting his hand towards the ceiling as he looked up.
Tommy and the babies had no idea how right he was. Amanda Bynes was in a helicopter at that exact moment, being flown around by an old pilot. The whirring of the helicopter blades and the sound of the wind made it hard to think or hear but Amanda had to try and talk to the pilot.
Amanda looked out at the scenery before turning her attention to the pilot, "You gotta fly towards Nickelodeon! Please hurry, I've got a show to do!"
The pilot's eyes raised, "Nickelodeon?" He questioned and after receiving a nod from the woman he asked another question, "Are you one of them Rugrats?"
"No, I'm Amanda...Amanda Bynes?" She answered over the sound of the helicopter, "But I do know the Rugrats! They're waiting for me at the studio!"
"Oh…" The pilot seemed mildly disappointed, shaking his head, "Well, I wish you were one of them…"
Amanda gave the man a wide-eyed stare before looking back out at the scenery, hoping that everything would be fine back on set until she got there. She fished into her pocket and pulled out the secondary Kimmunicator that her friend, Kim had given her earlier.
Back at the studio, Angelica had stepped back onto the stage to face the crowd that was chanting Amanda's name impatiently.
"Excuse me!" She called, lifting her hands up, but the crowd did not cease their chanting. Angelica tried again before placing her hands on her hips, "QUIEEEEET!" The crowd's volume seemingly snapped to dead silence, leaving the three-year-old to be heard by everyone now. Angelia gave the crowd a big, toothy smile as she took in the silence her yell had caused. The toddler cleared her throat and smoothed out her dress, "My name is Angelica Pickles and I'm going to sing for you lucky, lucky people!"
"You ain't Amanda!" Someone called out from the audience. Angelica responded by glaring at the guest before reaching up to snatch a mic from the mic stand violently.
"Yeah? You ain't slopped liver either, Buster!" She retorted snarkily before clearing her throat again, "I'm going to sing now so shut up. MY COUNTRY TEARS OF ME!" She began flailing her arms around as she continued to sing. Immediately, the crowd revolted at the ugly, off-tune serenade. They broke out into a low line of boo's.
The man that called out from before shook his head in disgust before looking over to his seat neighbor. He looked at her fruit hat and reacheed over suddenly to rip the pineapple from it. He chucked it towards Angelica, hitting her square in the head. Angelica toppled over onto her back, holding her head as she tried to regain herself.
Kim and Ron had returned backstage at this point, finally done dealing with that pesky '#1 fan'. Ron was busy herding the babies towards a playpen they keep escaping, leaving Kim to look out at the ever-growing mob.
"Kim, where's Amanda? This isn't looking good!" Ron called, locking the latch of the pesky playpen closed. He double checked it before turning to Kim completely.
Kim shook her head and reached into her pocket to pull out her Kimmunicator, "I don't know, Ron...but I'm going to find out." The redhead smiled when she saw her tech friend, Wade Load, pop up on the device's small display screen, "Hey Wade, can you patch me through to Amanda? Please and thank you!"
Wade took a sip of his soda, pressing a few buttons on his keyboard, "Okay, patching you through now."
The screen shifted and Kim could see Amanda on the screen now, "Hey, what's the sitch? You're late and this crowd is so full of drama." She admitted, popping her hip out as she waited for the answer.
"Hey Kim, I was actually trying to call you! I'm super close but this pilot won't land! Hey, there's the stage!" Kim could see Amanda turn her head to talk to a pilot off-screen, "You better land! Hello? Hey! Hey! What's your deal?!"
"Woah! I'm sorry! I took a lot of cough medicine today!" Came a man's reply. This caused Kim to raise both eyebrows as she was helpless to only listen to the conversation.
"Cough medicine?" Amanda replied, looking rather surprised herself.
The pilot nodded, "Yeah.. yeah that stuff will knock you loopy." He warned, starting to slur his words. The pilot suddenly passed out and Kim could hear him snoring through the communicator's speakers.
"Oh man…." Amanda groaned.
"...Amanda?" Kim asked.
"... No worries, Kim. I've got a plan!" Amanda called, hanging up the kimmunicator without any sort of explanation.
The teen put up a hand as she stared at the dark screen. What could her plan have possibly been? She sighed and looked out at Angelica, who had picked herself off of the floor and began to yell at the crowd.
"HEY! YOU INTERRUPTED MY SONG! YOU GUYS WERE LUCKY THAT I EVEN CAME OUT ON THIS STUPID ST-" Angelica was cut off by the sound of a high-pitched scream getting closer to her. She looked up and her eyes got wide, "...uh oh." She muttered before Amanda fell on her, knocking them both to the ground.
"Oops! Sorry!" Amanda apologized quickly as she got back to her feet, but there was no reply from Angelica this time.
"Hey! It's Amanda!" One of the audience members called out, causing everyone else to cheer. Amanda waved at the group, happy to finally be on stage to perform for them.
"Thank you! Thanks! My name is Amanda and welcome to my show!" She called out, ignoring the stretcher that had come onto the stage to pick an unconscious Angelica off of the floor.
