Chapter Four:
I not quite sure when but this time, I awoke in a sleeping Newt's lap. How'd I manage to do that given the confines of the vehicle astounds me. I don't remember falling asleep or ever leaning on shoulder for that matter. But still quickly enough I sat back up sitting normally. It was early dawn from the massive peaks of mountains where the sun light shyly peak out from.
The sounds of snoring is rather white noise at this point. Thomas is out cold his arm's crossed. Newt was strictly sleeping back arch out into the warm cushion of the seats. Fry he gave a few faint yawns but kept a steady pace.
"Pull over somehow safe and get some rest Fry?" I yawn to him.
"Where making good time, beside stopping might draw attention to us. Just leave it to me."
"Alright then, see you in a few hours." I yawn once more leaning back on the seat to get some more sleep.
As I doze back off, I had a feeling this wasn't going to a easy journey and yet the four of us took off not the slightest concerned about how upset Vince will be. Another thing that tugs at my sleepy mind is what they could be doing to Minho. Are they hurting him for us breaking the others free. For their sack they better had not. But my mind drifts before passing out.
When I woke up the environment had change drastically. Grass thrived along long windings paths next to the road. Everyone was up, as Newt gave me a cheeky smile.
"Alright sleeping beauty up you get!" He said handing me a energy bar.
"Thanks," I said with a mouthful.
"Keep heading this way," Thomas directed from the map.
"Got it." Fry said.
"How much longer," I ask Thomas.
"Couldn't say but the map says where getting closer."
The four of us sat and joke about as time went on. Hours spent on nonsense some on serious topics. And yet I felt relieved. One last big mission before Paradise awaits. This wasn't why we stood with Vince. I wanted to do more then fight WICKED.
I wanted to destroy them. But I work myself to a rescue mission and a fair goodbye from them. Yet it doesn't mean I won't try to cause havoc. Whatever I could do to slow them down I would. And right after I get answers from my mother. Thomas can put her out of a pitiful misery.
But more so, I have a score to settle with Janson. That rat-face bastard been having the better of me for the longest. And now, I have the chance to put him in the ground… I want to fight him and pluck out his black heart. I want him to hurt before fading away.
If I play my cards right, I might just get a shot at Teresa giving the situation. But I think Thomas should be the authority on that call.
All these dark thoughts. The swarm my mind before Newts hand brushes up on mine my a bump in the road. And like that those horrible but true thought slip out of my mind. For now that is. I wasn't to sure what was coming next but im sure it won't be for a lack of action.
A/N: Chapter 4-6 I wrote and are done. They a likely to be short but there'll be a mass upload today.
