Kara's eyes struggled to stay open as she strained to hear what Lex and Lillian were planning, but the pain was too much and her eyes closed again as she fell back into unconscious.

Lena tried to remain calm as she listened to the vile and evil things Lex planned to do to the woman she loved.

I'm so glad you chose the right side," he smiled at her as he cupped her cheeks.

"Family is everything," she shot back with a fake smile that didn't quite reach her green eyes.

"It is indeed," Lillian chimed in as she gave her a knowing look.

Lena chose to ignore it as she stood up, "I'll go check and see how she's doing."

"I bet you will," Lillian mumbled as she glanced in Lex's direction, he was ignoring them as he focused on his machines.

Lena flipped on the lights as she stepped inside the cold room Kara was being kept in, she tried not to cry as she saw her barely hanging on.

Kara struggled to look up as she heard approaching footsteps.

"What else have you got?" she spat out.

"Kara baby it's me," Lena whispered as she cups her cheeks.

Kara struggles to look up as she slowly lifts her head to lock eyes with the woman she loves.

"I'm going to stop them, I promise," Lena whispers in her ear.

"What are you doing?" Lillian asks as she steps into the room.

The DEO burst into the last know Cadmus hideaway guns drawn, "there's nothing here," one of the agents mumbled as they searched.

"Damnit," Alex cried out as she threw her com.

"Alex a word?" J'onn asked as she led her into the conference room.

"They could both be dead," she tells him as she shakes with fear.

"We will never stop looking," he tells her.

"I can't lose her, I swore I would protect her," Alex cries out as she throws herself into J'onns arms.

"I did too, we will find her."

"Mother, we were just talking," Lena says as she backs away.

"You better not be trying anything or I will kill you myself," Lillian warns her as she grabs her arm.

"I'm not doing anything," Lena responds as she snatches her arm away.

"I'm warning you child," Lillian seethes as Lex walks in, he looks startled as he sees Lillian shaking.

"What's going on?"

"Ask your sister," Lillian spits out as she goes to stand beside her son.

"Sister?" he asks softly a vulnerable look crossing his face as he asks.

"Nothing is going on," she snaps as she glares daggers at Lillian.

"You wouldn't betray now would you?" Lex asks his voice calm as he steps closer to her.

"Of course not, I'm on your side," Lena answers him.

"Good because it's almost time," he says his voice portraying his glee.

"Time for what?" Lena asks.

"It's a surprise," he answers as he grabs a random cutting tool.

"Lex," Lena begins.

"Out both of you. I have work to do," he snaps not bothering to take his eyes off the alien.

Lillian grabs Lena as she drags her out of the room.

Lena tries not to cry as she hears Kara's screams of pain as she is being pulled away.

"Hey how are you?" Winn asks Alex as he joins her outside on the balcony of the DEO.

"Winn I can't take this," she whispers as tears threating to fall.

"I will find them," he assures her as he rubs her back gently.

"Hey there you are," Maggie says as she walks over towards them.

Winn gives her a tight smile before walking back inside.

"We have to find her," Alex cries as she falls into Maggie's arms.

"We will," Maggie soothes her as she holds her tightly.

"So what exactly were you scheming in there?" Lillian asks as she sits down across from where Lena was as she stared at the door where Kara was behind being tortured.

"I told you nothing," Lena snaps as she tries her hardest to drown out the screams.

"If you do anything to Lex I will kill you myself," Lillian warns her.

Lena rolls her eyes, "if you say so."

Lillian grabs a knife as she surprises Lena by holding it to her throat, "I mean it."

"Get the hell away from me," Lena warns her as Lex walks out.

"Mother what are you doing?" he asks shocked as he goes to wash the blood off his hands.

"Is she even still alive?" Lena asks her voice shaking.

"For now," Lex responds oblivious to the pain he's causing his sister. "I ask again what's going on?"

"Your sister can't be trusted," Lillian tells him as she grabs his arm.

"Nonsense," Lex waves her off as he goes to cup Lena's cheeks. "My sister would never hurt me," he says as he kisses her forehead.

"Never," Lena tells him as she smirks at Lillian.

"That's why I'm entrusting you with the most important task of all," he says gleefully as he pours himself a drink.

"Which is?"

"You get to kill the bitch."

Lillian couldn't keep the grin off her face as she walked over to Lena, "good luck," she whispers as she walks out of the room leaving the siblings alone.

"Lex is it really necessary to kill her?" Lena tries to reason with him as she stands up.

"They are a plague Lena, they don't deserve to live. I want Superman to tremble as I send him his cousin's head," he laughed as he twirls around the room.

He's lost it,' Lena thinks as she sinks back down into the chair.

"Do me the honor of being the one to kill her? We've always been close sister," he tells her his eyes filling up with tears. "I've misses you."

Lena chokes back a sob as her brother takes her hands.

"Come sister," he cheers as he leads her into the room where Kara is being held.

"Lex please," Lena begs as he grabs the sword.

Lillian is grinning as she walks into the room.

"Prove your loyalty sister, kill her," Lex growls as he hands her the sword.

"Lena," Kara whispers.

"Silence!" Lex screams as he slaps her.

Kara's head snaps back at the impact as she looks towards Lena helplessly.

"Do it!" Lex demands.

"I," Lena begins but Lex's impatience runs out as he grabs the sword and thrusts it through Kara's heart.

"Noooooooo!" Lena screams as she collapses to the floor.

"It's done," he sneers as he leaves his sister alone with the dead alien.
