Lena falls to the floor as Kara's head slumps forehead.

"It's a good day indeed," Lillian smiles gleefully as she follows after her son.

Lena looks up as she hears a commotion outside, "hands up!" she slowly turns around as she sees Alex with a gun to her head.

"Get up Luthor," she spits out as her handshakes with rage.

Superman walks into the room, not even bothering to look at the woman as he walks over to his cousin, "she's still alive," he exclaims as he finally looks in her direction.

"What?" Alex asks as she lowers her gun and stares at the Luthor her eyes filled with questions.

"I switched her suit," Lena tells them, "Did you really think I would let that lunatic hurt my girl?"

Alex launches herself into Lena's arms as she hugs her tightly.

"She's barely holding on though," Superman tells them.

"Get her to the med bay!" Alex screams as Lillian is led into the room in handcuffs.

"Lex got away," Lena gasps.

"You're dead when he finds out about your betrayal," Lillian seethes as she's led away.

Alex leads Lena out of the warehouse and into a DEO van, "I'm sorry I thought you betrayed my sister, it's just I thought she was dead."

"I've been working on the suit for months. It killed me watching and hearing what they did to her," Lena cries.

Alex wanted to say so much, but chose to remain silent as the van arrived at the DEO; she holds the door open the woman as they enter.

"I want to talk to her first," Alex demands as Lillian is brought in.

Lillian smiles at her as the agents nod before walking off. "Alex Danvers we meet again," she greets her as she is led into the integration room.

Lena stands out with J'onn to watch and listen, Superman soon joins them.

"So what shall we talk about?" Lillian smirks as Alex takes a seat across from her.

"Where's Lex?"

"How shall I know?" Lillian shrugs as she smiles.

"We're going to find him," Alex promises her as an agent comes in and hands her a file.

"My condolences on your sister's death," Lillian laughs as she raises her cuffed hands in prayer.

"Oh she's not dead," Lena tells her as she walks in her arms folded.

Lillian is caught off guard but quickly regains her composure, "you did something."

"Oh I did," Lena snaps, as she smirks.

"You switched her suit," Lillian says as her mouth drops open at the realization.

"You're never going to hurt her again," Lena whispers in her ear as she walks out.

"YOU WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THIS!" Lillian screams as agents struggle to take her away.

"Any word?" Lena asks Winn as he stands outside of the med bay.

"Nothing, she was in pretty bad shape though," he tells her.

"Fucking bastard," Lena cries out as storms off.

"I'll go talk to her," Alex tells the young man as she walks over.

She finds Lena sitting on the balcony her head in her hands as her shoulders shake. "Lena?" Alex asks gently as she sits next to the sobbing woman.

"I should have stepped in and done something," Lena sobs as she shakes as more tears fall.

"They would have killed you and Kara; you did what you had to, to keep you both alive."

"She's barely alive!" Lena shouts as punches the wall crying out in pain as blood pours from the cut.

"Feel better?" Alex asks.

"A little," Lena smirks as the agent leads her back to the med bay.

"Let's get it looked at," Alex mumbles as she rolls her eyes.

"Hey I'm going to help in the search for Lex," Superman tells Alex and Lena as he walks into the room where Alex was treating Lena's injured hand.

"He's too dangerous," Alex warns him.

"I made him a suit as well," Lena smirks as she smiles at the super hero who smiles back.

"Well never mind me then," Alex scoffs as she throws her hands in the air as she walks out causing them to both laugh.

"Be careful though," Lena tells him as she hops off the table.

"I will."

Winn is still sitting outside the door when Lena rejoins him, "still nothing," he informs her.

"She will be okay," Lena says, mostly to herself as she takes his hand.

It had been hours as everyone waited with bated breath to hear how the blonde was doing; everyone looks up when they hear a gus of wind.

"He's gone, I can't find any trace of him," Superman tells them as he walks over.

"He will turn up, he wants to witness his destruction," Lena cries out as a DR walks out.

"Is she okay?" Alex asks as she rushes over.

"I'm afraid she has fallen into a coma, there is nothing more I can do," he tells her as he walks off.

"I need some air," Lena announces as she storms out.

Superman goes to comfort Alex as they watch her go.

Lena collapses to the ground as she sobs, she is crying so hard she doesn't hear the approaching footsteps.

"I'm assuming the bitch is dead?"

"You have a lot of nerve coming here," Lena seethes as she wipes her eyes before standing up and turning to face her brother.

He has a gleeful look in his eyes as he clutches a gun tightly in his right hand.

"Here to kill me?" Lena growls as she stands up her legs wobbly as she finally manages to get up.

"You betrayed me sister," he replies his voice calm as he raises the gun.

"She's my world," Lena tells him as she looks towards the doors, there's not a single agent in sight as Lex steps closer.

"How could you love that thing?!" he yells as he slaps her.

Lena cries out in pain as she falls to the ground, "she's more human than you will ever be."

Lex's eyes narrowed, "what did you just say to me?"

Lena grew scared at the wild look in her brother's eyes, "Lex please, just go. Superman will be back."

"Then I will kill him too and finish what I started."

"I won't let you," Lena growls as she stands back up.

"Do you really think you could stop me?"

"I do," she shoots back as she pulls out a gun.

"You're not going to kill me," he scoffs as he moves closer.

"Stay back Lex," Lena warns him as she raises the gun to his head.

"Do it," he challenges her with a smirk as he drops his gun.

"Leave now Lex, I'm warning you."

"I will never stop and you know that," he tells her as he raises his hands.

"I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe."

"Then do it, before I lose my patience," he laughs.

"I love her Lex, please."

"She doesn't deserve to breathe, and I swear I will destroy her!"

"So be it," Lena says as she pulls the trigger, hitting her brother right between the eyes.

A look of shock passes as he falls to the ground.

Dozens of DEO agents rush out guns drawn as they order her to drop the gun.

"Lena are you okay?" Alex asks as she pushes pass them.

"I killed him," she cries as she drops the gun.

"Come on," Alex tells her as she leads her away.

"Get him to the morgue," she calls over her shoulder. "Here drink this and take some deep breaths," Alex tells the distraught woman.

Lena takes a small sip before setting it down.

"Is it true, Lex is dead?" Superman asks as he walks into the room.

Lena looks up as she nods her head.

"I'm sorry," he offers as he looks like he wants to say more but chooses not to as he walks out.

"Are you okay?" Alex asks as she sits beside her.

"I just wish Kara was here," Lena cries as she buries her face in her hands.

"OH Lena," Alex whispers as she pulls her into a tight hug.

It's broken up when a siren sounds, "What now?" Alex snaps as she and Lena run out.

"This way!" an agent shouts.

"What's going on?" she asks Winn.

"Lillian escaped."

"Son of a bitch!" Alex shouts as she begins to bark orders at one of the many agents, "okay and Lena?" she asks as she notices the woman is gone. "Shit."

Lena enters their loft, not even bothering with the lights as she sinks to the floor in a heap of tears, hoping and praying her girl would be alright.
